Where to Eat and Drink in Sellwood-Moreland | Eater Portland

"Former rapper Mando Fernandez slings burgers and chicken wings out of this food cart, which relocated from East County to Sellwood a few months ago. Juicy Angus beef burgers arrive a la carte but diners can supplement the Wunderland (bacon, peanut butter, and marionberry jam) with a side of crinkle cut fries or the Laurelhurst (beer-battered jalapenos, pepper jack, bacon) with some onion rings. Mando’s Remix Wings have a satisfying crunch and are doused in a sweet-and-savory sauce." - Alex Frane

13 Gourdet-Approved Portland Food Trucks and Carts | Eater

"Serving classic North American favorites, Mando’s was started by friends and former underground rappers George and Mando in 2018. Juicy burgers are named after Portland’s neighborhoods, like the beer-battered jalapeño bedecked “Laurelhurst.” Chicken-wing enthusiasts might beeline straight for the “remix wings,” which are battered for maximum crunch before getting doused in Mando’s secret sweet and savory sauce. For dessert, ask about the cupcake flavor of the day from George’s wife’s company, Creme de la Creme Cupcakery. Seating is available at the Food Cart Heaven pod." - Janey Wong

The sun is finally out, and it got me craving a good cheeseburger. Checked around what was close to me and Mando's had the highest rating and was less than a 5 min drive. I got the 503, which came with crinkle fries. This burger hit 👏 the👏 spot👏! It was so good. The fries were good too, but with the amount of food you get, I couldn't finish Very happily full. And the service there was great. Super nice and the wait was nothing more than what's to be expected when they're cooking up your burger for you right there. The cost was nothing, considering the food you're getting. 👍 Thanks, Mando! 🍔

Let me just say this chicken is AMAZING. Like... SO GOOD that I am constantly trying to get it. And they're SO inconsistent it has gotten to a point where I am frustrated enough to make this review. I've been into their food for YEARS, I always find out where they end up. Literally 9/10 times that I attempt to get their food, it doesn't work out. I ordered early today on DoorDash. It got canceled last minute right as it was supposed to arrive. I go to their food trucks when they're open. They're never open during the hours I go when they're SUPPOSED to be open. I literal travel for them just to end up disappointed ALMOST EVERY TIME! So yes - food is good. Good luck getting ahold of it though. I'm so sad. I even bought their sauce one Christmas when they were selling it... (I never got it even though I paid for it because I can NEVER CATCH THEM OPEN). I think I am officially giving up on trying to get the best chicken in the world.... :'(

Been wanting to come to this place for so long and finally found a good time to go wasn’t busy at all. First off the wings are seriously that good even my picky girlfriend approved its not drenched in Buffalo hot sauce but more so a tangy sweet sauce that made me want more! I also ordered a burger the Alameda and I loved it from the pub bun to the fat onion ring in the middle the only down side was they use crinkle cut fries and those are not my favorite they get soggy fast but definitely will be back for more wings and other burgers!

We were on the eastside hiking at Powell Butte and really wanting a burger. We looked at reviews and Mandos came up high. AND THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The wings were some of the best I’ve ever had (and I like wings). Not hot, but definitely savory. The chicken sandwiches were massive and so fresh with avacado, lettuce and a lot of meat. I highly recommend this place and we’ll be going there again for sure.

Best wings I’ve ever had. Hamburgers are extremely good, but those wings are so so good! I’ll definitely go back! Never had a wing that good before into life
