"Most of Franklin Street is quiet during weekdays while students are in class, but Med Deli’s daily lunch rush is the exception. Every afternoon, dozens of people crowd in front of packed deli cases and order from a huge menu of sandwiches, platters, and pre-made salads. Pick a few mezze from the cold counter and make a plate, or get falafel or kebobs in a pita, or over rice. This is a great place for vegetarians but it works for just about anyone. Get your lunch to-go and eat on UNC’s Lower Quad or drive ten minutes and sit on rocking chairs at the botanical gardens. I’m so glad I found this grocery store in Salisbury! I recently moved here, and it’s a small town with limited options- especially for ethnic foods, spices, and halal meat. This store has an amazing selection and very reasonable prices. The owner, Sister Shumaiya, was incredibly welcoming and friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back!

My daughter and I stopped here for our first time last night. We were happy to see they were still open and stay open until 8pm. We live less than 5 min away, so this is convenient for us. The owner introduced herself as soon as we walked in. Very kind, she told us about popular items and told us to look around and take our time. We ended up buying a bunch of items, some of the items were things she suggested. My daughter tried the falafel wrap and it was DELICIOUS 😋 If you like hummus, than you must try theirs. Its the best I've ever had! We will definitely be going back!!

We are from North Carolina, here visiting family. We found M&S Organics on the internet and are really glad we did. The vegan selection is excellent, and the owner is exceptionally knowledgeable about everything she sells and took time out of her day to educate us on what we were buying and the best ways to prepare it. The prepared food is out of this world, and I highly, highly recommend the house hummus. Any time we are in the area, M&S Organics is permanently on our "to-do list." WE LOVE THIS PLACE!

The market is great and possibly the best Mediterranean market on the Delmarva Penninsula. Many African and Mediterranean products, foods and spices available. There is also a selection of serving trays, kettles, and tea cups and as if that is not enough they are now selling hookah and incense. Oh yes, and there is a Deli, how could I forget the Deli.
