Really good comfort food, big portions, superb & friendly service. Cowboy fries and Pulled Pork Sliders Rocked! Everything you would expect from a family restaurant. Didn’t have room for the yummy looking desserts. Next time for sure.

Oh my. I’m a biscuit and gravy snob and I live for breakfast. Mandy’s is a gem. Melanie was so very friendly and welcoming. The food was outstanding and the Bloody Mary was satisfying as well. I ordered The Rancher - subbing sausage for the bacon. Plenty of gravy, fluffy biscuit. Eggs cooked properly and HUGE sausage patties. While I prefer hashbrowns to home fries, these were excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant in Eugene.

Google
Fries were great. The burger was very salty. My wife is allergic to dairy and the waitress only said "I'm pretty sure all bread has milk in it, we do have gluten free" Never even offered to check. Probably wouldn't complain but this is the second time we have been there and had the same reaction about dairy.

Eclectic. Quirky. Personable. The food was good, but the waitress was really what made it worth the visit. She was solid and accommodating, and have the feeling that they'd have anything we really needed. The diner like menu hides some really great home cooking. The chili wasn't just some cans of stuff thrown together, it had pork belly, tender chunks of stew beef, plenty of beans, great seasoning, and they were willing to top it with onions and cheese. So good. The vegetable on the side of the country fried steak were amazing, savory green beans with mushrooms and onions that had had some real attention paid to them. The steak was crisp and tasty enough and the brown gravy was served in plentitude, but the mashed potatoes were amazing, chunky, well peppered as well as buttered, creamed, and scooped like savory ice cream. And the garlic toast was beautiful as well as tasty. There's a really interesting mind in the kitchen here. And I was really grateful for the enormous mug of peppermint tea. Hubby loved the Greek salad and the beer selection.

I've eaten here several times. Every time, you can tell this food is cooked with love, and it's all delicious. Today, I was able to take my parents there, visiting from out of town. My mom said the vegetarian panini was the best she ever had. My dad recently had some issues, and can't taste much, but ate nearly all his broccoli cheese soup (quite a feat right now)! My wife said her patty melt tastes like the one her grandma used to make. She also said in the past the French toast was the best she ever had. I love her fish and chips, best I've found in town in fact. So thank you Mandy to you and those you work with for a truly delightful dining experience every time.

Google
The fist time I came here was a few months ago for breakfast, and the corned beef eggs benedict was delicious! The server was very nice and it was a good experience. However, I came in for a second time for a late lunch, and the experience was very different. The place is very dirty and dusty! The way the entrance is set up is cramped and confusing with a messy kids area. The server was very nice. However, after being seated, we just couldn't eat there and left. It was very loud, chaotic, and dirty

Google
We stopped in on a Tuesday evening, (first time dining here) since it's open late. The menu looks great, lots of variety. We got breakfast items, eggs Benedict & a waffle sandwich. Only 1 of the 4 eggs was overeasy. We asked for a steak knife to cut the waffle, because it was soggy and impossible to cut/eat with a fork & butter knife. Plus it was very chewy. I don't think breakfast I'd their forte. At least not at night.

Mandy's really is a restaurant with a heart. The whole idea for this restaurant was to be built around serving food to those working in the service industry. Those that get off at odd hours at the middle of the night and they want to go out to eat too or they want to grab a bite to go home and enjoy in the Comforts of their own home. Regardless this place is open almost 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year they are closed occasionally for 1 hour. The staff is fantastic. The food is really really good. There's an extensive menu. There is a very large play area for kids. The milkshakes are really good. We've gone to this place quite a few times after late night events. 1:00 to 3:00 in the morning. Have had just as good a service as I did at 9:00 a.m.

Yelp
Wow! That was an experience! Sunday breakfast at 9:40am. The place was packed with a line out the door. Now, I've never eaten there so, asking some folks in the line if the wait was worth it, the unanimous response was YES! Julie and I decided to take a chance. The menu is packed with old school comfort food items so, lots to choose from. Coffee came fast and hot (and even crazy busy as the restaurant was, was never empty). Next out, tasty Bloody Marys with some good veggies (gotta have your veggies for breakfast). Julie had a "Sweet Stuff Meal" with French Toast, 4 pieces of Bacon, and two eggs. A lot of food! I had the "Reuben Benedict". I was sold at the fact that the pastrami was house smoked. Very Tasty and the were even able to sub gluten-free toast for the english muffin for me!! Overall, worth the wait and certainly, no one went away hungry!! We'll be back!

Yelp
Some places are even better than the sum of their parts - even when those parts are pretty dang good. I love a good diner. And this kinda isn't that. But kinda. But still not. I love a restaurant in a converted house. And this very definitely IS that. I love a 24-hour place and a place that serves breakfast at all hours. I love a place with a pie carousel near the entrance. I love a place full of youthful energy. And I love a place with great bacon and giant plate-sized pancakes. Therefore, I loved Mandy's.

Amelia E.

Yelp
amazing service. Amazing food. Amazing company. Would definitely recommend to a friend looking for a "Riverdale" did anyone keep the receipt vibe. I'll bring the jingle jangle. Shout if Kiera.

Amy G.

Yelp
Most creative brunch menu I have ever seen! You have to try out Mandy's! We were in town for Volleyball and luckily we found this gem!

Kirsten R.

Yelp
Prompt service. We dined in prior to 6am for breakfast so we had to choose off their late night menu which is more limited than their full menu. The French toast while a valiant attempt with thick challah bread, I found it too thick and heavy so the egg dip did not saturate the bread leaving the bread heavy, cold, and dry. My partner's breakfast burrito was good, heavy on the meat. Be aware that their dining room is extremely chilly, and is every time I dine in. Dress warmly if you are sensitive to the cold and plan on dining in.

Alessandra G.

Yelp
I love Mandy's! We tried some new dishes today and wanted to add the photos. The panini bread was light and had lots of meat stuffed in. The spaghetti tasted like an elevated butter noodles (in a good, comforting way) with delicious mushrooms. The west coast fries are another one of my favorites.

Tornadoroo K.

Yelp
We dropped in on one of our visits to Eugene and were so happy we found Mandy's. We had the Chicken Fettuccine, Brioche French toast and the Chicken Fries Steak Breakfast for dinner. So much food! And so good! This is our new go to restaurant for Eugene. Clean, great service and just so very good. We were unfortunately too full to try one of the 20 different pies, YES 20! Or the 11 ice cream flavors (feel free to mix and match). Want a cold beverage- why go Pepsi when you can get an Italian soda or one of the many beers. So many! Above average service, food and cleanliness. Fun outside with tables for eating ice cream when the walk up window is open. Stop here and eat!

Erin E.

Yelp
Forgot to take pictures but oh well! Going with 4 stars because this doesn't top my fave breakfast spot but still yummy! The wait wasn't too bad on a Sunday morning at 11 which I was worried about. The kids meals are awesome, Mickey mouse pancakes with eggs and choice of meat, the kids loved it! The servers were very attentive but it is kind of weird when you walk in there is no list so it a bit chaotic getting a table. I was hoping for an omelette but they only have scrambles so I went with that and it was decent. I got my home fries extra crispy and that was my favorite part of the meal. My hubby got chicken fried steak, it wasn't his favorite one he's had. He said the breading was too thick. Over all decent breakfast spot. We want to come back and try the lunch menu. The kids love the play area which is especially nice when we are waiting for a table.

Jailene C.

Yelp
I've been to Mandy's multiple times and each time it's good! I really enjoy their breakfast and the burger and fries were super good. I enoy crunchy fries and these were fried perfectly! Excited to eat my way through the menu. They're also 24 hours which is amazing! Service is always friendly, vibes are very casual diner vibes.

Scott E.

Yelp
This was our first time at Mandy's Family restaurant and we were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Everyone enjoyed their food. I ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast. It was the best chicken fried steak I've had in our area. It's a really big breakfast and could feed two people. It came with home fries, eggs, and toast. My wife had the pancakes and she said they were delicious. She woukd get them again. She typically only likes the ones from the Original Pancake House and finally got some elsewhere she would get again. Very high praise. Inside it has a classic diner feel but is located in what appears to be an old house. Very cool.

Daryl H.

Yelp
Great bacon breakfast burrito and home fries and the salsa was amazing!!! Would definitely recommend this place

Michael S.

Yelp
This is an old time 24 hour restaurant. Haven't had a bad meal yet and my experience so far tells me that I won't be having a bad server either. Everything has been excellent, but remember I said old time restaurant. You have to like rustic.

Bev H.

Yelp
I rarely stop here and, even more rarely, order Waffles because they often are cold and rather soggy once arriving to my table. I specifically requested hot and crisp with real butter. I got exactly that. As I said, this is a rarity in my experience. The place was not packed, so, naturally, the chances of getting what I wanted increased exponentially. Service was warm and upbeat and my coffee was always topped up just in time. The small gas fireplace enlivened the space I was in and made for a warm and comfortable ambiance. For a cold and rainy morning, a great morning meal!

Ramonda D.

Yelp
The food was amazing, especially loved the brisket dip. Incredibly flavorful meat. Friendly service and cute atmosphere. Wasn't too impressed w/the key lime pie, the crust texture wasn't great.

Alicia S.

Yelp
Well, I paid over $20 for this French dip and sweet potato fries. The au jus was inedibly salty. The meat was chewy and dry. The hoagie was super doughy. I paid $2.25 extra for sweet potato fries. And they were mushy and tasted burnt. I haven't been to Mandy's for a while, but people rave about it. Maybe I just ordered wrong? I just don't recommend this for take out.

Todd G.

Yelp
Had to leave a review today , For the best food & service i've ever experienced anywhere ever ! The staff went above and beyond to make our dining experience the best. Even on a holiday we were seated with a quickness and before we knew it food was served . Even the owner herself checked with us twice to make sure everything was perfect. The waiter even bought my Father's day beverage . We were treated like family by their family run business . I so highly recommend this restaurant. Wasn't out first time eating there & will most definitely not be our last . THANK YOU Mandy & Family

Tina Q.

Yelp
We tried Mandy's for the first time this morning and was impressed, I had the basic breakfast with ham the eggs were soft cooked just like I like them and the biscuit was perfectly toasted and light , my husband got the chicken fried steak it was huge and really good ,it was very affordable for the amount of food you get and they have some delicious strawberry jam self serve bottle on table. The service was great we will be going back.

Rebecca B.

Yelp
I am so relieved this place survived covid. The 24hr diners all but disappeared. After shenanigating all day, sometimes dinner gets away from me and I can't always stomach fast food in the late hours. Heck, even most of those close well before midnight. Mandy's to the rescue! Greasy spoon delicacies, fun wait staff, decent prices, laid back atmosphere and last time we went, karaoke just rounded things out nicely. Have a drink, eat something great that makes your heart smile, and end your night on a good note.

Lea J.

Yelp
We dropped in for a post-airport refueling. Mandy's, as usual, killed it. This place is like a truckstop, only without the trucks. solid service, hot plates with eggs scrambles to suit whatever need. Don't discount the beauty of simplicity.

Winter B.

Yelp
Mandy's is a super cute diner in Eugene. I came here for breakfast and was impressed. The menu has a TON of options. Lots of sweet and savory for breakfast. I got the full stack of chocolate chip pancakes which were delicious and hugeeee. Next time I would get the smaller size. My friends said the grilled cheese French toast was really good as well. I would be interested in coming back for lunch and trying something else! Our server was so nice and the food came pretty fast. There is also an ice cream window outside which is super cute in the summer. Overall great vibe, indoor and outdoor seating. Perfect for a casual brunch with friends and a satisfying meal.

Rachel B.

Yelp
Service was great and very friendly. It's a nice family friendly spot with fresh and hot food. We loved everything but biscuits and gravy was t our favorite. Definitely a must have if in Eugene.

Kim H.

Yelp
Food was good loved the old school atmosphere. Our waitress was great, she was the nicest lady. I got the turkey wrap and it was delicious very fresh! My husband got the biscuits and gravy not so great. We would definitely come back, we loved the service and food!! Oh and the onion rings are amazing!!

Tanner M.

Yelp
The food was really good, they were quick to get it out to us but our server was kind of weird, talked to use like we're dumb.

Jamie F.

Yelp
This place has been popping up on my socials a lot lately so we thought we would give it a try. The food wasn't bad. It just wasn't good. Definitely nothing to write home about. Super bummed. The service however, was excellent and for that reason alone we may be back. Hoping we just came on an off day. The place is setup a little strange. And it was extremely cold in there.

Veronica J.

Yelp
I finally had a chance to eat in the restaurant, not just have delivered. I went with my Mom and a friend. The staff was so friendly and professional. They were very prompt in recognizing us when we walked and getting us seated. Brought beverages immediately. Took our order, and food came out fairly quickly. Our food was piping hot and definitely fresh made. No frozen or pre-made food here. Everything was delicious. We all enjoyed our meals. The portions were pretty generous. This place definitely will be my go to for family homes styled meals. You will not leave hungry

Steve S.

Yelp
Everything was amazing!! Found this gem on Yelp. We were traveling between Eugene and Portland and I really wanted to find a local place to eat. The food, ambiance, and staff were out of this world!! You will not be disappointed I promise! See you next year for more!

Todd H.

Yelp
Make sure to get the Reuben!!! So damn good!!! The staff was also great and on point.

Howard R.

Yelp
Hungry and NOTHING would do but a CHICKEN FRIED STEAK! Wanted to try a new and different place. Lived in Springfield for 11 years and have moved to Eugene a year plus ago. I'm embarrased to admit that I dont't know most of the places in town (yet). Reading YELP I found several reviews for my CFS need, and Mandy's was open after 2:00 pm. Love to go during off hours so that the kitchen can produce an unhurried dish. Ordered the CFS from the breakfast menu with homestyle fries, 2 eggs sunny side up and an english muffin and coffee. Coffee came first, with a cup big enough to soak my socks in. My waiter was family to the owner and could NOT have been nicer or more attentive. It took a long time to finally get through my coffee (like at the end of the meal), but I was given a few heaters. Great service. The CFS filled a platter. It was fork tender, the breading was crisp when delivered and deliciously seasoned. I could only eat HALF and had the rest for breakfast the next day. It reheated well! The potatoes were not overseasoned or oversalted (a primary sin) and the eggs were done exactly to my liking. I want to suggest that if you're looking for a late night place to think abut Mandy's -- they are open 24 hours on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Looking forward to taking the bride along on my next visit -- for a real brunch.

William H.

Yelp
Arrived at 6am for breakfast, an entirely reasonable time given that they say they're open 24 hours. Am greeted by no one. I can hear voices in the back conversing away over The President's of the United States of America's smash 1995 hit "Lump". I wait patiently by their Please Wait (apparently forever) To Be Seated sign. Minutes pass. No one. "Hello???" I say into the void. No one. I dare to move past the sign into the restaurant proper. "Hello?????" I say, louder. The only answer I receive is the growling of my stomach as pangs of hunger and a lack of caffeine and customer service drain my will to live while the voices in the back of the restaurant chatter away. I leave. Never again.

Kierstin D.

Yelp
Mandy's is one of my favorite American homestyle breakfast restaurants! They have a large menu, the portions are huge and the prices are amazing! I've met Mandy on a few occasions and I love how she takes the time to interact with customers and works right alongside the rest of her staff. Everyone there is always extremely nice, service is super prompt, and food comes out fast. My favorite two items are the Country Fried Steak with gravy and the Breakfast Grilled Cheese. They're sooo good - really heavy, but worth all those extra calories! The grilled cheese is a great combination of savory and sweet, and just really unique! They also have a bar so I love to pair a Bloody Mary or Mimosa with my meals. All in all, it's always a great experience and I definitely recommend them for your next carb load breakfast!

Taylor B.

Yelp
Mandy's was recommended by a coworker recently and I could see why! The food was pretty good and they claim to be 24 hrs which is always a perk to me. I don't love that there's nowhere to really sit with your food besides the patio. But I did enjoy my omelette and the breakfast burrito so I'd recommend those!

Sterling C.

Yelp
They were very busy at 10am on a Saturday. They are open 24 hours so perhaps some of those other hours would be less frustrating. It took about 15 minutes to get seated, and another 26 minutes to get food. The staff was obviously overworked, but friendly. I ordered the Saturday Market Benedict, which sounded awesome on the menu but the execution was an experience in mediocre Hollandaise sauce, which though rather bland managed to mask all the other flavors. I do appreciate that they have several vegetarian options on the menu. For tea they offered Stash English Breakfast, which is another exercise in mediocrity. On the plus side they do have honey for the tea.

Phil D.

Yelp
What a wonderful eatery! We were on our way to another and drove by/decided to stop in. Had the breakfast burrito...it was stuffed. My wife had pancakes: large and fluffy. If this sounds appealing, I heartily recommend. They have lunch/dinner available too. We'll be back to try those...can't imagine any drop-off in the service and quality. Abby was our server...very nice and took care of our needs.

Kayla D.

Yelp
5 years later and I still adore Mandy's. The service and food is always welcoming and enjoyable. The inside of the restaurant is decorated in such a beautiful, homestyle way. My loved ones and I are always looking forward to a trip there

Sydney B.

Yelp
This restaurant is absolutely the best I've had in years. Excellent service, excellent food, good prices. My new favorite place to eat out. Thank you Mandy's family restaurant.

Ryan M.

Yelp
Food was just ok average to below par diner food. The restaurant is very dark and looks like I'm needs a good cleaning. The roof was leaking and it appears that this is a ongoing problem. I also try to support businesses that don't push political crap on patrons on either side. So when I looked at the front of the menu that was it for me. Much better options at the same price point.

Wyatt S.

Yelp
Just a great little restaurant. Very cozy and familial, with excellent service. The food was delicious and was the perfect breakfast I needed.

Colby S.

Yelp
The breakfast burrito is to die for, also a really big portion so be really hungry. Makes a great bulking snack!

Lisette P.

Yelp
"The Basic Breakfast" Keep in Mind, that my Review is based Mainly on The Service, and Pancakes It was really good, unfortunately It was too much food for me. 2 eggs but it seemed more like 4 eggs, and lots of potatoes (maybe consider sharing the plate) . The Coffee was HOT, even after you pour in the creamer, just to my liking. The pancakes are beyond Fluffy and super Good. You definitely won't be disappointed as the service we received from Vali and Sarah was so sweet and genuine ""Don't Forget To Tip The Waitresses""

Mike G.

Yelp
Their food and service are always great when we are able to go. Highly recommend the breakfast food.

Anita S.

Yelp
The portions are generous and food tasted great! The menu has many offerings. I had the Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast with the Vegan Gravy. It was delicious! Mandy's has a chill vibe and nice atmosphere. The service is friendly and prompt. We love Mandy's!

Kristin C.

Yelp
I wanted to love Mandys, but I just can't. Overall a disappointing, mediocre experience for way too high prices. We ordered a Cobb salad that had more bleu cheese than anything else, 3 big chicken chunks that should've been cut properly for a salad, and a small amount of watered down ranch. It also had a ton of inedible tomato cores. The spaghetti was bland. It ripped the paper to-go container from the moisture- which led to a mess. It tasted fine, but was nowhere near the quality it should've been for a $19 plate of spaghetti. The side salad had more tomato cores. Did they get a discount at the produce store on pre-cores tomato's, and they chose the cores? I don't get it. One core is an oops, two cores makes me question things.. but my small side salad had 5 cores, and one piece with some weird substance on it- mold? I don't know.. but there was nothing in the salad of a handful of lettuce leaves and handful of red onion and tomato cores that would've caused whatever was on it. The honey mustard was also watered down. Maybe their breakfasts are better, but again, they are higher priced than other places in town and based on this experience, I don't know that I'd be willing to try the breakfasts. For the same price, there are significantly higher quality places in town.

Bentley M.

Yelp
The food was so good I got biscuits and gravy it was so good my mom got French toast 10/10 would eat again

Selena F.

Yelp
Super friendly, great service. They are super accommodating, great with kids. If you ask, they will even seat you next to the kid area...even though it's not an official table. The food is amazing. What a great place!

Catherine N.

Yelp
I truly wanted to like this place however it's not somewhere I would come back to. Customer service 5/5 Food 3/5 Execution 2/5 Just want to preface this by saying we came after a large party was sat so we were mentally prepared for slower service and I thought our server was very sweet. Pros: Server was very nice. Cons: Hubby and I ordered the same exact beers (ales) but his beer didn't taste right, it was *funky*. There was a weird tang to it but later on the server got him a new beer and got me a second one. When the server brought me my second beer it was a completely different beer. We ordered jalapeño poppers because we saw that it was served with a Marionberry jelly, but the server didn't tell us they were out of the jelly until it was dropped off at the table. Jalapeño poppers were decent, but I wouldn't order them again. Hubby order his club sandwich with no mayo but there ended up being mayo on it and he sucked it up and ate it anyways. His review was "just ok." So just be careful if you order any food modifications if you have allergies as you'll want to double check your food doesn't have what you didn't want. I got the bbq brisket panini which wasn't bad. But the bread ended up being really soggy. The only thing I did really enjoy were the fries. It seemed like they were out of a lot of stuff so just make sure you're open to different options.

Kevin H.

Yelp
They opened just before the pandemic and my first two visits did not impress. The food was below par and it took 10 minutes each time before anyone approached me. Post pandemic, as I'm a night owl, I've tried it 2 more times. Their burger is okay, whatever seasoning's on the fries, it tastes like someone dumped the shaker of salt on it. Apparently there were 2 people working after midnight, but both hung out in the kitchen. Service was much better but again, I had to wait at least 10 minutes before anyone poked their head out of the kitchen. These long waits are frustrating. Denny's is better in every respect.

Heidi B.

Yelp
Delicious food a big portions.i got the chicken fried steak and my husband got the chicken fajita burrito. Not too long of a wait and the staff was friendly. They have a huge menu so definitely will be back to try more things

Jean M.

Yelp
Mandy's at 15th and Willamette offers great breakfast options: delicious pancakes, eggs, bacon, toast and she is open 24 hours. The atmosphere is relaxed. She has 6 full booths and one half booth plus outdoor picnic settings. The prices are reasonable. She serves locally roasted RBO Cafe Mam coffee and service was excellent. Be sure to check out this locally owned joint!

Cassie S.

Yelp
Giant portions. Excellent service. There was a big group that walked in after us but the waiters were so gracious.
