Family‑run and fiercely local, Mandy’s built one of the region’s most extensive vegan menus: pizzas, calzones, hoagies, and sauces made in‑house, with clear allergen notes. A reliable crowd‑pleaser for mixed‑diet groups.

We drove 2 hours from Ohio to take our son who has a milk and egg allergy to have pizza for lunch. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was great and came hot and fast. They have a great selection of menu items that everyone can enjoy. My son had pizza and wings and was very happy. I wish we would have known about Mandy's pizza when we were visiting Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh for milk allergy trial, I'm sure the allergy department would let others know about you guys. Thanks for a great time, we really enjoyed it.

She was awesome. She carries allergen friendly desserts as well. She understands food allergies like no other. Thank you 😊

It is great to have vegan and gluten-free pizza options in the North Hills of Pittsburgh area. The crust that is gluten-free and vegan is really delicious. Toppings are good too. They have french fries that are vegan and delicious. And for those who don’t need dairy free foodthey’ve got a ton of options. We will certainly be back.

This is an amazing pizza place! The staff there are very polite and kind! The atmosphere is very humble and nice. It gives off a sense of being right at home! Now about the food, it tastes SUPER GREAT! This has become my favorite pizza place of them all! And, I've been to many pizza places, but none can out-do Mandy's Pizza! Almost all the toppings are hand-made and are treated with perfection! The pizzas are extremely well made and treated with lots of care! I love the taste, and I would definitely recommend it. Going one hour out of my way for pizza was 100% worth it!

I have an extreme gluten and dairy allergy. Within 15 minutes of eating either one, I’ll have 103 fever, hives covering my whole body, and excruciating pain all over. This restaurant is so incredibly careful. I bought a meat lovers pizza with olives. It was so good! Like, so good I had to call to confirm the dough was indeed gluten free and the cheese was dairy free cause I couldn’t believe it. I had zero issues. Can’t wait to try it again. If you have allergies, and you love pizza, this is the place to go!!!

Being a vegetarian has its challenges and finding fun food to eat. So coming into Mandy‘s is quite a treat? You are able to order food there that you can’t find on any other menu and there are so many choices! I’m sure all you vegan and vegetarians out there will find Mandy’s quite a treat! I also have two granddaughters that are gluten-free and dairy free. They are coming to visit this weekend and they will be super excited to go into a pizza joint and find some typical food that they can eat and not worry about allergies.

We love Mandy's Pizza! The gluten free white pizza is our personal favorite. Great place for a cheat meal. 3 celiacs in 1 family so we were all happy. The balsamic dressing is great on their salads. The staff is amazing.

Google
I adore this place, staff is so nice and the food is like nothing else. Great vegan options and the 2 times I've been to Pittsburgh I made sure to stop here for food and will anytime I'm in town. Wish we had a Mandy's back home!

Yelp
Did the vegan pizza again and it is as good as ever. The spicy fries are a bit salty, will not get next time. The staff there are very kind. They have no menus in the store, so that was kind of disappointing because I wanted to see it. They said that it is online, but I don't carry a phone. The vegan pizza is amazing. It is very filling. Two slices is like four slices of regular pizza. You will feel bloated. The hot honey chicken pizza was the bees knees! The mock chicken is so good, very close to the original without the annoying skin, bones or cartilage.

Yelp
Best gluten free pizza I've had! I really appreciate how seriously Mandy's takes allergies and sensitivities, while also making delicious food! The service and ambiance are top notch, and I love however they make their GF crust! You can't even tell there isn't any gluten. Their normal pizza is also good and I've enjoyed their chicken as well. And anywhere you can get fries on a pizza is the place I wanna be.

Yelp
Sicilian pizza has great taste, and it's a nice crust, not oily. Sauce is flavorful, this is the 3rd time we've had their pizza, EXCELLENT! We will keep going back

Yelp
Omg, you guys!!! My husband introduced me to the Mandy's Supersteak when we first started dating back in high school roughly 15 years ago. I honestly can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review. To be completely honest, It's probably because the sandwich is usually gone or I remember to take the dang picture after it's already half gone, LOL. Yes, it is that darn good people! Don't forget extra mayo and extra cheese because that might matter for the extra kick to the tastebuds. If you haven't gotten one yet and you're near by, do yourself a favor and go grab you one of these Pittsburgh wedgies aka the holy grail of wedgies to us! Don't worry, you can thank me later! ;)

Yelp
My son suggested we order from this place since they have many gluten free and vegan options on their menu. I called ahead and scheduled a pickup at my select time. He had asked for a vegan pizza and a vegan BBQ seiten chicken hoagie. When I arrived I found my order was ready as scheduled however I was shocked that they did not honor my check in offer. With a Yelp check in you are entitled to $5.00 off any order over $35.00. I knew I was spending $40.00 here so I had made the benchmark. The assistant manager told me he had never seen that coupon before-it was a YELP coupon and not one of theirs. I must say that was the first time any business ever turned down a YELP check in coupon. I advised him that others on YELP who frequent this place may do the same thing and get the same coupon so he said he would speak to the owner about it. So full price I paid. Note they do prefer you pay cash because of credit card fees. No biggie here. Then I asked about delivery. I was told they deliver within a 5 mile radius. I asked about Marshall Shadeland. I was told they don't deliver there even though that area is less than 5 miles! Onward-I take the food to my son's house and we began to share the pizza. It was a round style topped with green pepper, onions, and mushrooms. It was good but not great. The cheese tasted different but I guess it is the type of vegan cheese that they use. My son suggested that I use ranch dressing on it because it didn't really resemble cheese in taste. I did enjoy eating it however. Portion sizes are nice and having looked at the hoagie I saw that they give you nice portions there as well. Although I did not have the hoagie my son has had it before and it is one of his favorites. I will give them much credit for the fact that they do have a lot of gluten free and vegan options to choose from in a city that has so little of both. The menu is specific when it comes to ordering vegan-no substitutions! All in all I enjoyed the food but I do wish they would get the above matters straightened out for folks who frequent the place. Located on Perry Hwy in West View, they have their own private parking lot.

Yelp
Stopped in to order a quick dinner to take home to eat. Didn't want to eat at a restaurant bc we had just left the DMV and had spent alot of time waiting to get our license renewals....just wanted to head home. I was told 1/2 hour for 2 subs and a calzone....checked at a 1/2 hour, was told a few more minutes. I ordered at 4:50PM. A few minutes turned in to asking again at 6:00PM, order still wasn't ready. Lines were out the door bc peoples orders weren't ready. Several people who had been waiting as long as me got their orders and they were missing parts of their order, and had to wait to get their order corrected. At 6:30 my order STILL wasn't ready, and also heard them say they were out of tartar sauce.....at that point I WAS DONE. Canceled my order, asked for a receipt for my credit card refund, left and went down the street and got awesome Chinese food from Yeungs, and had it in 10 minutes. Also note.....there was a very young baby, probe about 6 months in a playpen in the kitchen entryway. Cleaning chemicals were on a shelf above the playpen, there are so many potential hazards in a kitchen environment......I didn't understand the thinking, or lack of thinking behind that. I can't imagine that if an inspector came in that that would have been an acceptable arrangement. I won't be back. Total disaster.

Yelp
It's going downhill, $20 for a one topping pizza and the cheese is missing from the outside 3 in of the pizza... No good no more. It's a shame I used to love this place. I'm

Yelp
I would rate this place 10/10 every single time! Going to be honest, I eat the same pizza everytime I go here. My friend loves their gluten free buffalo chicken ranch. That's what we order and, to be honest, it's amazing! I mean I've had a lot of gluten free crusts, but this one is just off the charts. It's got this buttery sweetness to it in actually obsessed. They have lots and lots of other gluten free options too! Honestly this place is great! The people are nice, but there isn't too much seating room inside.

Yelp
I am so glad this place is here! Gluten free and vegan pizza. For my vegan family that miss the taste of meat, their "pepperoni" is the best. Sometimes they even have vegan desserts. Oh and their vegan hoagies are so good! So many vegan options. They have regular pizza too so everybody's happy. They're always super friendly like they know you when you first call in. We've only ever done takeout but they do have dining in.

Yelp
NOT SAFE FOR ALLERGIES We have ordered twice. The first time, the order was completed perfectly. That food was GREAT! The second time, I ordered a vegan cheese calzone and they gave me a REGULAR calzone with normal cheese. I didn't realize until after a few bites then couldn't eat the rest. Fortunately, I am not severely allergic, but they are lucky that the mistake didn't send someone to the hospital or kill them. I did get sick from it as someone who is normally dairy free. We even double checked with the order taker that it was to be a vegan calzone and were ensured it would be. By the time I ate it and we noticed, they were closed so we couldn't call or take it back. I contacted support through their website twice with no response over the course of a week (this was a few weeks ago now) even though they ensure a response within 48 hours. I am shocked that so little care has been put towards this issue, considering the website prides this restaurant as a safe eatery for severe food allergies. I am not sure if we will be returning for another order in the future, because I'm not sure if I trust that my orders will be made vegan.

Yelp
My family has been going to Mandy's for years. Everyone has different dietary needs due to food sensitivities and allergies. Mandy's has vegan (V), allergen friendly (AF), gluten free (GF) and regular menu items. You can order appetizers, pizza and sandwiches in V/AF/GF. They basically have the same specialty menu items for GF/AF as regular (usually GF & AF menus are very limited). I recently tried the gluten free award winning white pizza, it was absolutely delicious! The hoagies are large and I am not able to eat a whole one. The leftovers heat up quite nicely in an toaster oven. No issues with cross contamination (very serious if you have severe food allergies) and the food is always delicious! The staff is very nice, helpful and patient. It worth the drive to that part of town. Thanks for having a restaurant where everyone is able to eat worry free!

Yelp
Great pizza. The crust was light and not super thick. Fast service and glad to support businesses that are allergy aware. Our little one is allergic to PN/tn. They are primarily take out only but accommodated us with seating indoors.

Traci T.

Yelp
I ordered Philly steak hoagie . I did not get what I ordered . It comes w mushroom onion green pepper lettuce and tomato. I asked for no green pepper and provolone instead of cheese sauce . It arrived without the lettuce and tomato which I didn't have at home . And it was cold . Needless to say I was a bit disappointed cuz I was really looking forward to a good hoagie. It just wasn't pleasing to my appetite and I didn't even finish a 1/4 of the hoagie.

Yelp
Terrible service. I waited for 50 minutes after paying for my food before they told me I was out of the delivery location. When I called the business to speak to management, she was extremely rude!!! I will never order from here again!!!!

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was so incredibly accommodating to our every need. I felt safe eating there despite my dietary needs. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone in the area!

Yelp
Mandy's has a wide variety of menu options for allergens friendly folx. Their staff is welcoming. It's a fan favorite. Wish they had the ability to do GF and DF, but they make it very clear how to order for your allergy needs and why they structure their menu accordingly. Always happy when I try something new!
google avatar

Marysa M.

Yelp
We drive past all the time and decided to finally try today. We ordered pizza and a Philly steak hoagie. The pizza was excellent taste wise, especially the sauce, but was a tad bit soft in very center of the pizza making it hard to eat. We were quoted 35 mins but showed up 50 mins later and the food had just come out of the oven. Will definitely be ordering again!

Yelp
Mandy's Pizza is consistently fresh and with a menu as vast as theirs, there's always something new to try to keep your taste bud's happy. They have the most extensive vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free offerings for a pizza spot. Incredible! Every single menu item I've tried has been so fresh, filling and delicious. In addition to the traditional pizzeria menu they also serve allergen-free, gluten-free (including pizza, hot hoagies, wings, and pasta), and their vegan menu includes pizza, hot hoagies, wedgies, "chicken" things, salads, etc. 10/10 on every vegan menu item I've tried. Definitely a treat yourself type of menu. The Super flatbreads are essentially a pizza folded in half. The vegan pulled pork flatbread was so good, incredible house made sauce. Love their "chicken" things, and the habanero honey mustard is divine. Steak n' ranch pizza is also fabulous - their house made steak is so tasty. Most everything from the dough to the vegan steak, pulled pork, all their sauces and desserts are made from scratch. Really love their traditional pizza dough. They also offer Sicilian - can't wait to give that a try. Staff is always friendly and order wait times are always accurate, if not quicker.

Yelp
I eat gluten free and I recently went vegan for health reasons. I thought it was the end to enjoying good pizza for me, but boy was I wrong!! I got a vegan, gluten free white pizza tonight and I think this thing was better than regular pizza!! I highly recommend Mandy's to everyone. They are always amazingly accommodating to all allergies and sensitivities

Yelp
When we moved into the neighborhood, my friend at work said we had to try Mandy's. Lucky for us, it's just up the street and is a great choice when we want something decent for a meal. My mom and I love meatball sandwiches. We love their sauce. It's very sweet. The meatballs are ok. The bread is good but there's a lot of it. My husband really likes their chicken Parmesan sandwich. What's nice about Mandy's is their concern for the needs of their customers. They're very sensitive to the health and wellness needs of their customers. My husband is lactose intolerant and restaurants typically don't listen which either leaves him disappointed or sick. Neither are great options. When you ask for something, they listen and take it seriously. We really appreciate it.
google avatar

Cassidy B.

Yelp
The gluten free garlic bread was really good! I also tried the gluten free Philly cheesesteak, which I believe was made with the same bread, I just wish it would've been toasted, it was a little spongy. I also really enjoyed the ranch!

Yelp
People answering phones and the delivery person were super nice. However, the food is terrible. Pizza wasn't cut, cheese is not very good, they forgot the sauces and sides. Ordered for a group of teenagers and they didn't even eat it it was so gross. Turkey hoagies were really good even though they didn't make it how asked.

Yelp
MANDY'S PIZZA IN PITTSBURGH PROHIBITS ENTRY FOR LICENSED SEEING EYE DOG On November 26th I drove 30 minutes with my sons and my two grandchildren to Mandy's pizzeria in Pittsburgh so that we can get gluten and dairy free pizza for my Granddaughter. Upon entering the facility I was immediately told that I had to get out with my licensed seeing eye dog (**my son started video taping). I tried to plead with the cashier at the time and explain this is a licensed seeing eye dog, my son even tried to help but that didn't change anything and we were asked to get out. I proceeded to leave the store and my son started highlighting that what their doing is not only wrong but illegal. The cashier replied something along the lines of "this is an allergy free location" My son even went as far to go on Google and showed them that "The ADA requires businesses modify their "no pets" policies, practices and procedures, to allow service animals accompanied by a person with a disability. Denying access to a person with a disability accompanied by their service animal violates federal law." Being that we had driven this far we proceeded to make the order or else we would be driving an hour total for no reason. It was about 10 minutes when the store owner showed up and started apologizing for what happened and explained that some of her store reps "don't know the laws surrounding service animals and that he didn't know it was a seeing eye dog" (even though we stated it many times). The store owner had continued to apologize and even went outside to apologize to me as well as ask her cashier to apologize and proceeded to ask me and my son not to document this situation. She went and pleaded to my son inside that moving forward (even though they were established in 1972 ) she would ensure that this never happened in the future and that this representative was new and mustn't have known the rules; but then to me outside she said "dogs are not allowed and you are more than welcome to stay out here or in your car" I for one will never be going back and this interaction only adds to my emotional scarring regarding these kind of situations and the few businesses who continue to discriminate against disabled people. Just to remind all businesses, you can't deny access for disabled people because they may come with a licensed seeing eye dog.

Yelp
Yesterday we put a take out order in at Mandy's and when we got home we saw we got the wrong order. I called them and they said to bring it back and they would get my order, which I thought was odd since the food was already out of the restaurant and in my house. We returned the food and got our right order. When I was there I saw another customer waiting for his order. I returned to my car with the right order then saw that same customer walk out with the order I just returned. That was so wrong. now I'm not a dirty person but they should have thrown that food away and remade his order. That was terrible. How many other orders walked out that door then were returned and handed off to another customer? I will never order from Mandy's again and I don't suggest any one else do either. That's so against all health department rules going. Thats just nasty. NEVER AGAIN.

L M.

Yelp
Girlfriend and I frequent here when we're in north hills due to her having celiacs - as mentioned in other reviews service can be hit or miss depending on who's working. Regular pizza/Italian subs are above average - the gluten free options are good, however I believe there's better options out in the Pittsburgh area. Props to them for offering allergy friendly food and at a affordable price. However, really feel like they're trying to do too much here. I was pumped to try the "philly cheesesteak." See photo below, absolute worst sub I have ever had. Quality of steak was questionable, served with raw mushrooms and not cooked in? No bueno.

Yelp
I ordered takeout from Mandy's recently because I've heard how good their GF pizza is. I ordered a GF pizza with crispy pepperoni and green peppers for my toppings. The pizza is a 4 cut, which I think would feel one person if you were only eating pizza, but could feed 2 if you supplemented your pizza with a salad or some other side. It was about a 45 min wait, which I didn't mind because it was a Friday evening. When I went to pick up, I was the only customer there for pick up. I've read other reviews saying that the owner was very rude, but I didn't have a bad experience with him. He was very friendly to me. The reason I am giving Mandy's 3 stars are for a few reasons. First, none of the employees were wearing masks. There is also no sign on the door requiring customers to wear a mask upon entry. Also, the pepperoni was good, but not crispy as advertised. Lastly, the crust was decent, but I don't think it's the best GF crust I've ever tasted. Since I'm only basing this review on pizza, I would like to try it again for their other GF offerings to see what they are like.
google avatar

Karim E.

Yelp
Couldn't agree more with everyone else talking about how rude the owner is. This my second time ordering from there. The first time I walked in and I found one my old coworkers that used to work with me at a different pizza shop, And asked him who answered the phone and yes it was Steve THE OWNER. He is extremely rude and inpatient, this is absolutely not how to run a business to serve people. The second time I called, and same exact tone and rudeness, my kid wants pizza and we are hungry as well so I just let it go. I ordered a white pizza with grilled chicken black olives and green peppers. Got it before numerous times else where and use to make it myself back in the days working at lots of different pizza shops in Pittsburgh. I was told that the extra large is 16cut, I get home and the size looks like large to me that was cut to an xlarge size so it end up with very thin slices with a 3" crust!!!! Started pulling slices properly to start eating and the Doug comes out from underneath the topping by itself!!!! Paid $38 and some change for this joke while me, my wife and our kid are starving we end up biting the Doug and picking up the toppings. White pizza should come with white sauce and sliced tomatoes, ours came with no taste of garlic white sauce and had chopped tomatoes and feta chees?!!!!!! Extremely disappointed and will never order anything there again. I will advice people to go else where.
google avatar

Melissa C.

Yelp
It shouldn't be this hard. Every single time we attempt to order from Mandy's, it's a new issue. Their delivery zone changes depending on who answers the phone. Ok. We will just start planning to pick it up. Now, with a closing time of 8pm, I called to place an order and was informed that the kitchen closes at 7:15pm. I called at 7:16. I was told they were already cleaning up and no additional orders could be taken because the oven was turned off. Not that they were too busy to finish the order by closing time - that literally, they just stopped taking orders 45 minutes before closing. There is absolutely no mention of this on their website. For one of the only area providers of gluten free and vegan options to have such inconsistent and ineffective operations is just so frustrating. The food isn't nearly as consistent under new ownership. The pizzas are often not cut well, toppings sliding everywhere and missing items (sauces and sides). There's a huge opportunity for another option in the North Hills.
google avatar

Madilyn S.

Yelp
Best vegan chicken and ranch i've had thus far. Achieving a tasty vegan ranch is not an easy feat. Don't know how they did it but 10/10.
google avatar

Brittany U.

Yelp
Waited double the time they told me for pick up. Food ruined. I ordered pizza, wings and a hoagie for pick up I was told about 30 minutes, and I went to pick up around 40 minutes. I waited for about 20 minutes in the store which made it around an hour for the food. They should have just told me 45 minutes or an hour, instead od making me wait and not seeming to even care. I get home and open my Sicilian pizza and all of the cheese was stuck to the top of the box. There was barely any sauce and the small amount of cheese was stuck to the top. We got a half dozen wings and there was barely any sauce on them. Since they are whole wings, it makes it even worse. It was like 2 drizzles over the whole wing. The care for the customer was non existent and the food was slopped together and barely sauced. They used to be better.
google avatar

Lorinda H.

Yelp
Best Italian hoagie anywhere! FYI I do not order pizza here, but everyone else loves it.
google avatar

Val P.

Yelp
If I could give less than 1 star I would. Ordered a Gluten Free white pizza paying $26 for a "personal" size pie which is a choice we made so no complaint there. Problem is, got home and my wife started to eat her pizza and it had what seemed to be a 20 year old dirty piece of plastic embedded in it. I called and they were completely unremorseful about it and said they could only bring us a new pizza. Surprised by the lack of concern I said no thanks (my wife said she'd try to eat it) but was grossed out upon further review. I called back (nicely) and said they could have it back if they returned my money and they treated me like a teenager trying to get a free pizza. Caveat emptor here people...
google avatar

Laura M.

Yelp
Mandy's is absolutely one of the best pizza, sub, salad restaurants we have ever had. The food is deliciously consistent. The gluten free menu has so many choices and the quality is second to none. I don't think, "This is really good for GF," but instead, "This is some of the best pizza/chicken/fries that I've ever had." Their bbq pizza is definitely the best I've ever had. My family doesn't even realize it's gluten free when they snag some of mine.
google avatar

Shannon N.

Yelp
Great for vegan or GF options however can be pricey. Especially if you order the small vegan pizzas like I do. I've also tried a vegan sandwich. It certainly takes care of my craving of those pizza house sandwiches! Nice crispy, tasty roll with onions, the tomato and lettuce. There could have been more of the veggie "meat" slices because the sandwich was a little thin. The menu is huge...there are separate pages for regular, GF and vegan. We order to go and the gentleman at the counter is always friendly and patient. I spied some vegan cookies and treats in the fridge! I was tempted but maybe next time!

Yelp
Oh man. I'm celiac and have long forgotten the feeling of biting into a big ole hoagie without it being dense bread or just not good. The hoagie was fantastic. Bread is made fresh in-house and I felt safe eating it. Homemade pizza crust was also delicious. Great service, super friendly owner. Would recommend to anyone! With or without allergies :)
google avatar

Lauren M.

Yelp
Good but not amazing. Their Sicilian pizza is definitely the best option if you want pizza. It's delicious. Also their subs are GIGANTIC. So if you don't need a two foot long suv maybe order the small size.
google avatar

Mary Beth D.

Yelp
The pizza was hot, fresh and ready to be picked up on the agreed upon time. Covid protocols were followed. Truly enjoyable experience.

Yelp
Best pizza in west view The owner is rude so you know they're good with how they get away with talking to customers They put rats in their pizza Bathroom is haunted

Kim K.

Yelp
I've been to Mandy's a handful of times in the past, and have always had amazing experiences. Unfortunately, I was very underwhelmed recently. I was given a 25 minute wait time for pick-up, and it ended up being 55. After getting home (10 min. drive), my pizza was completely cold, and....there was no cheese! I really am not sure how that was forgotten, but it was. I had green peppers on top, and they were not cooked - it seemed like they were thrown on raw as an afterthought. Overall, I was very disappointed, especially knowing my amazing past experiences with Mandy's.
google avatar

Alexander S.

Yelp
Mandy's has been great during this pandemic and very friendly to customers. I always pick up food from there. They have great service, great allergen food, and the best quality ingredients. I can finally eat pizza again without the bad side effects! Try them if you're in the area and have allergies!
google avatar

Andrea S.

Yelp
I can't say I was overly impressed with my meal here. I ordered a vegan buffalo chicken hoagie and an order of spicy fries. The chicken they used was rubbery and didn't have much flavor to it. I did enjoy the vegan mozzarella that they used, and I don't like many vegan cheeses. Nothing tasted very fresh, and most vegan places tend to use better quality ingredients. The spicy fries were soggy and over seasoned with what tasted like Old Bay Seasoning. I really appreciate that they have so many vegan & gluten free options, but nothing has me feeling inclined to go back and try more.

Yelp
10/30/2016 I just ordered a Not-so-BBQ Chix vegan hoagie with everything on it and it is absolutely delicious! My significant other ordered a regular Italian hoagie and he's over joyous of the outcome, considerably because although it's easy to make it doesn't always exceed to his expectations! This time it has! Thanks for the great service! For the first time coming here, we will be returning very soon! :) EDIT** 3 YEARS LATER AND IM STILL LOVING IT

Yelp
Living in Bellevue gives you lots of options for pizza. Unfortunately, I can't say I love any of them, so we outsourced our pizza to our great neighbor of west view. This is where we consistently order our pizza from. I've also really enjoyed their wings. We exclusively get delivery and most of the time, they are here faster than their delivery estimate. However, when they aren't early, they tend to be REALLY late, which is very frustrating. However, we do really enjoy their food though and recommend them to people in the area.

Yelp
I wish I could give zero stars. My wife called Mandy's pizza to order pizza for delivery. The person taking orders was EXCEEDINGLY rude. She was caring for our 4 month old daughter and asked for "a second" to get her card number. The person said "I wish I had one", told her to call back and hung up on her. When she did call back the person was still incredibly rude. She figured, maybe it was just a terrible employee. When she asked for their name she found out it was "Steve, the owner". She tried to explain that she felt he was rude to her and he hung up on her again. There are many fantastic pizza places in Pittsburgh. We will NEVER patronize a place that treats it's customers like this. I suggest you spare yourself the trouble and do the same. In addition... I posted a review on Facebook of this place. The owner wrote this LONG response explaining how he was right, my wife was wasting his time, and refusing to take any responsibility. Then... he blocked me so I couldn't respond. A REAL class act!

Yelp
I haven't ordered from Mandy's since the ownership change. Did so tonight and it was a completely satisfying experience. Phone was answered promptly and courteously. The order was correct and on time and OH MY GOSH--The food was so delicious!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Yelp
Oh man. This pizza is nothing to write home about. While the cheese and the dough are pretty consistently comparable to other pizza joints in the area, this place loses my business with their sauce recipe. By far, it is the most disgusting pizza sauce I've ever tasted. I won't be going back.

Yelp
If you are gluten free, you need to get here!! We split a capicola hoagie and a steak flatbread and fries and OMG, so tasty!!! And also too much food for two people :) The hoagie bun was tasty and not crumbly and the flatbread (made with pizza crust) was too. The fries were really good too - they tasted fresh and were kind of puffy. The eat-in atmosphere is not great (very small and basic) but honestly the food is so tasty you won't even care. And the employees were very nice and seemed very knowledgeable about gluten!

Yelp
Here's a great Pizza shop with two locations (the other one is in the North Side) for your convenience! Not only that, but they deliver pretty far from their locations (ie. the West View branch delivers to us in Ben Avon). The American food - hoagies, flatbread sandwiches, wings, etc., have all been extremely tasty in my experience. But, what I'm really here to review is the pizza! So far, I've tested a variety of their yummy pizzas. They are huge pies, and Mandy's never skimps on the toppings! However, the dough, though very good, is a little thick for my liking. Yet recently, I had to completely reevaluate my opinion after trying "The Pittsburgher". Now, if you like Primanti Bros. sandwiches, you will LOVE "The Pittsburgher". Heaps of meat (your choice of turkey, capicola, roast beef, or corned beef) accompanied with tons of cheese, tomatoes, french fries, and cole slaw.... well, it's definitely something you'd only see in the 'Burgh. The thicker dough works well to soak up the juices in this pie and, instead of the soggy experience you'd have if the dough was thin, you are left with absolute deliciousness! Other than that, Mandy's offers gluten free dough and other options for those with food allergies. Overall, a fabulous and unique Pittsburgh restaurant!
