As a vegetarian, finding a Thai restaurant with a diverse and flavorful menu can sometimes be challenging but this place met the expectations. Great taste and spice level were as mentioned. Every dish was a delight, Red curry is a must try. Good ambience and its perfect combination of Modern and traditional decor, creating a cozy yet elegant vibe. Staff was good, polite. Free parking. Wheelchair accessible and restaurant does serve alcohol. No free WiFi.

My wife and I have tried many Thai restataunts since moving to Indy and Manee has quickly become one of our favorites. The food is DELICIOUS!! High quality ingredients and healthy portions at a very fair price. They recently reopened from remodeling the entire restaraunt and did a great job. It has a warm inviting feel with wine racks, hard wood floors and golden ceiling tiles. The ambiance is also very pleasant with relaxing jazz style music playing in the background. Its a great place to eat and have a relaxing conversation. Also ,the owner has been there each time we go and she is very friendly and kind. I would highly recommend you give them a try. I came from Atlanta (where there are excellent Thai restaurants). I tried this restaurant with my family, we were visiting from out of town. I ordered noodles, and it was one of the few items on the menu that did not have eggs in the description (apart from the egg noodles, which is was fine with). When my food arrived there were eggs all over the meal like a garnish and the noodles were mushy. I told the server and his first response was to argue and debate me. I also got the spring rolls which were fine but I came to the restaurant for a nice entree, not an average appetizer. I don't recommend. Indianapolis has better options.

I loved everything about my experience here. Curries are made without fish sauce and can be made vegan with tofu and veggies. Pad Thai can be made gluten free and tastes bright and like tamarind. Service was excellent and attentive once we were seated.

I love Thai food and this is my first time trying this place and I’m overly impressed! You would never guess how luxurious this tiny restaurant turns out to be on the inside. The decor adds a cute little touch to make your experience even more enjoyable. The food was more than amazing and if you love spicy food this is the place to come! My mom and I got both Sweet Thai Iced Teas and fell in love with the flavors and colors. This is the best place to come get Thai food in Indy and the staff is amazing!

Easy online ordering and prompt delivery through GrubHub. My order was exactly what I ordered and how I ordered it, which is always a pleasant surprise when visiting a city and ordering late night eats! We sampled several dishes, all were as described. The favorite was the President Fried Rice and the Shrimp Drunken Noodles. The Shrimp Yellow Curry was a bit light on the protein and the Pineapple Fried Rice (a Thai fav of mine) was smothered in yellow curry...which isn't typical of the dish in my experience. For being an 8 p.m. Thai food for delivery in Indianapolis, I think they deserve five stars!

Lovely atmosphere and the nicest servers. Too bad the kitchen doesn't keep up. The service was exceptional, friendly, and informative. We really felt welcomed. The dining area was lovely and comfortable, and added to the dinner experience. But the food was not up to par. All our dishes tasted overly greasy or heavy, to the point that we didn't bother taking home the leftovers. I doubt we'll ever go back, which is a shame because the staff was so nice.

Amazing taste and you can tell the quality is superb. This is our second time and it’s even better than our first. Great tasting, fresh, and always hot! I always get the drunken noodles and my wife gets the green curry.

I've only gotten takeout from here, but I'm always so pleased. Staff is very friendly! Noodle dishes are so good - I especially love the drunken noodles. The Tom Kah coconut soup is a must- get and the potstickers are so good. Don't sleep on this hidden gem! Parking is plentiful.

Manee Thai is next to Athens on 86th. A Thai restaurant on the west side of 86th street, in a strip mall where Fresh Thyme is. There are multiple Thai options on the north side, particularly on 86th. How to pick one? We just decided to try this one in person since my parents were visiting from out of town and don't have Thai cuisine options in our hometown. I will break this down. The service is short-staffed. The front of the house person is also doing the serving and taking orders. Depending on when you come, you either may be waiting for a while or by luck catch the person when they're at the front of the house. I feel bad. Taking phone calls, taking orders in person, brining the dishes out from the kitchen- all in one person. The food- as a vegetarian, Thai cuisine is plentiful and flavorful. Take care to order the foods without fish sauce. My pad Thai was great, and we also really enjoyed the bamboo shoots. The food was presentable and 9/10 for the taste and lingering flavor. Spiced but not overdone. Ambiance- dark decor with plenty of lighting. There are booths and tables available. There are usually 3-4 tables full at any given time. Which is good, because any more would be probably stress the short staff. Overall 4.4/5.0. Just that we had to wait a little while, and I think that maybe the place is better served just to do takeout at the moment.

I came here with a large group of 16, and it was a very nice experience. The service was excellent! Very friendly and our water glasses were kept refilled. Several of us ordered Drunken Noodles. Mine were with tofu, and a few of the others ordered chicken. We all agreed they were some of the best we have had, anywhere. Spring rolls were excellent too. Others in our group ordered Crab Rangoons, green curry, fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, and Pad Thai. Everyone was very happy with their food, and we all agreed that it was an excellent experience..

The menu has changed and the place looks different after renovations. We started with calamari and chicken wings. The calamari has too much flour on it for my taste, but the wings were good and enjoyable. The roasted duck curry was very tasty and well flavored. but there wasn't much duck meat in the plate and for the price, serving was small. The orange chicken was on the salty side and but the serving size was good The one that stood out for us and saved our day was the crab fried rice, as it was really, really good, and had a very good after taste. We asked to not have onions on the rice but that wasn't honored. The experience has been a let down for us. Will try again down the road if they make some some changes in terms of the food quality and serving size. As for the change on interior appearance, the place looks better than before.

I've been coming to this shopping center for years and didn't know about this beautiful Thai restaurant tucked in the corner of the strip mall. The dining room is upscale, lovely, even romantic. Gentle jazz music played in the background. Tables are comfortable. We were there for lunch. Jaya, our server, was acting as host and server for all the tables. He was quiet, focused and diligent. The drinks and food came out quickly. Water glasses were kept full. They offer a lunch menu of traditional favorites which includes spring roll and choice of salad or soup. The soup is a light Thai broth based soup which is delicious. The spring rolls are small, fresh and crunchy served with a ginger sauce. I had the Pad Kee Mao with shrimp (Drunken Noodles) which was beautifully plated with artistically cut vegetables. The plate was filled with fresh carrots, green beans and more covered in a brown sauce that they prepare in house. I requested medium spice level and it was very spicy, which I liked. There were five shrimp cooked perfectly. I loved this dish but would request mild spice next visit. My husband had the Pad Thai with chicken, which was also delicious. I had a glass of the Thai Sweet Tea which was creamy and, of course, sweet. I'll be back and recommend. The food is delicious and dining room lovely.

I can't stop getting the basil fried rice!! All the food is here is wonderful but the fried rice is my #1. The food comes out hot and fast every single time. I only had one issue with my food ever (in 3 years) and they were quick to remedy the issue and they were so kind about everything. Definitely check them out if you're on the north side of Indy.

Good food and service. I find all Thai restaurants similar. All have good food. I found no special items. Tried fish cakes appetizer - very different texture but good sauce.

As you walk in you see an elegantly decorated dining room . All the food is average for a Thai restaurant for the exception of the salad rolls . The salad rolls are some of the best if eating them plain but if you add the peanut sauce and the chili sauce they are the best .

This is an awesome place located right by Planet Fitness and Fresh Thyme off of 86th Street -- MUST TRY! My friend Aron and I went here for my birthday and it was amazing! The place is quiet, and clean, and has some awesome staff! They also have their wine and beer liquor license! I started with some Jasmine tea which came in an awesome tea pot and was very good! We then got Crab Rangoons and Gyoza -- both of which were AMAZING! I don't think I have ever had such amazing gyoza, full of flavor and came with an awesome sauce! We both shared the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) at the suggestion of the owner and the Orange Chicken. The Drunken Noodles were PHENOMENAL!!! Like absolutely amazing!!! The Orange Chicken was good too, but Drunken Noodles took the cake! Since it was my birthday, the owner made a homemade dessert - some kind of Banana-Egg roll or something and it was so good! It had toasted coconut flakes on top and I loved it! You MUST try this place!

Fire. Best Thai food if you don't believe me you have bad taste buds. also get the spicy basil rice with pineapple and extra egg, medium spicy or to your liking. Ok.

Tried 3 appetizers: Chicken Satay - delicious!!! Thai Dumplings- just melt in your mouth and have the best flavor with the pork and shrimp and then the spicy calamari- good flavor and perfectly tempura'd!! We ordered different entrees. Pad Thai with Chicken, Ginger chicken, Yellow curry with chicken. Spicy Basil Fried Rice with Chicken. Every dish was a delight to each bite. Definitely a place to repeat visits. Service was fast and very personable. The new owner was very nice and answered all of our questions. Seriously, a 5 star place due to the flavor of the food and the service!!!

Delish food, Nicely decorated and friendly servers. My fav is orange chicken but noone I've talked to had a bad word to say about it.

NO WOW FACTOR HERE. HAVE AGAIN: Pad Thai with tofu, Mussaman curry with beef, Thai iced tea (no free refills) were all good. Mango salmon curry and Rama delight were good to ok. Wonderful dinner with family but just 3 stars for food. NOT HAVE AGAIN: Chicken satay was ok but not flavorful. Good peanut sauce

I was in the mood for Chinese food and wanted to try something new, so I found Manee Thai Cusine IN on Uber Eats. I ordered the Pad Thai main entree and they had a buy one get one free special on spring rolls. The spring rolls were fresh, light, and very crisp. The Pad Thai dish was prepared with care and tasted amazing!! The texture of the noodles was just perfect, and not rubbery. I have become a connoisseur of Pad Thai lately, and this Pad Thai was excellent and amazing! I have not been to the location yet, but very interested to go visit the location on W 86th St. I can imagine the ambiance and the customer service would be just as high quality as the food itself. This is a new discovery in Chinese that I enjoy very much! I look forward to actually dining in the location itself. It will be worth the dining experience!!

Had lunch 050125; ordered off the lunch menu vegetables with shrimp and calamari for 11.99 plus 2.00 surcharge for seafood. Served vegetables with cuttlefish fish squid NOT calamari and NO shrimp. Notified waitress who offered shrimp and then proceeded to charge extra 5.00 with a total lunch price of 18.99!. Of course the owner is not on premises to verify complaint. This waitress said that was an old menu !! Damn how come the register rang up the old prices. This place is practicing fraudulent tactics. There cannot be a recommendation no matter how good their food may be. False advertising and thievery.

I was a bit skeptical of this place but I have to admit I'm a fan. I am also excited that they have Kai soy on the menu and it is delicious and they are with their flavors for dining in and for take out. The orange chicken is also pretty good. They have a great lunch menu that comes with soup or salad and a spring roll all for 10.99.

Thai is my Sunday craving every week. I absolutely will judge a Thai restaurant on their crab rangoons as the decision point if I will order again or not. I am serious about crab rangoons y'all. Tried this new place via Uber eats and will definitely be back. They pasted the rangoon test. Crispy on the outside. Enough filling. Not super sweet. Not super oily. Also would recommend the drunken noodles. I am a bigger pad thai fan and the drunken noodles blew the pad thai out of the water on this one. Get it 3 spicy! Tom kha soup slapped. Rich broth and just enough heat. I'm a huge savory broth fan and this a home run. Disappointed in the fried spring rolls and the summer rolls. Both lacked flavor. I'll just steer clear and order extra rangoons next time!

Easily my favorite Thai in Indy due to finally finding THE DISH. The Khao Soi is excellent. If you enjoy curry but also enjoy noodles over rice then this is the dish for you. Careful with your spice level as anything over a mild/medium will have you sweating. I love the coconut base as well as the chicken and vegetables in the curry. Finish it off with a thai tea and you have quite the meal. The service is also very quick and helpful when it comes to ordering.

We stopped in for lunch and had a great experience! We got the lunch specials of pad thai and pad kee mao with chicken and both loved our entrees. They came with salad or soup and spring rolls. There was plenty of food to take home for leftovers and the level 3 spice was just right for us with a somewhat low spice tolerance. The dining atmosphere was clean and quiet and we decided this would be a great spot for a group of any type to meet for lunch!

Tried Manee Thai after discovering our 1st choice was closed. It's on the corner of a strip mall so look for it down from Fresh Market. It is a cute very clean spot. It was slow for a Saturday evening but there was a steady stream of people coming in for carry out. I figure that's a good sign. I was impressed with all the options on the menu. We tried the Crab Rangoons which were excellent. Fried but not too heavy. The Thai Tea is a great option just remember it's sweet. We tried the ginger stir fry with chicken and a Pad See You with tofu. Both were good though I would have liked more veggies in the Pad. The service was very good and friendly.

This little Thai joint is located in a strip mall off of 86th and Naab Road. As with most of the Thai restaurants I try for the first time, I ordered the chicken pad thai. The lunch special comes with rangoon or egg roll if takeout, and an additional soup/salad if dine-in. I ordered takeout and it was ready in under 10 minutes! My pad thai was tasty, but slightly a bit over-saturated with sauce. They offer a spice level between 1-4, and I went with a 3 which was just on the borderline of being too hot for me -- next time I will go with a 2. All in all, this place was pretty good and I will definitely try some other entrees on the menu during my next visit. The lunch meal was filling and cost just under $10. I'm a fan!

Service was efficient. Food tasted great. I felt little low on ambiance so did pickup order. Spicy Thai basil Chicken fried rice is must try. Fried wonton was good too.

What a fantastic place to have lunch at. This was my first time checking out the restaurant, and I plan to return. I was a part of a party of five. We had appetizers (spring rolls, fried soft shell crab and crab Rangoon) we enjoyed drinks (Thai iced coffee, Moscato, plum wine, Singha beer, and Tsingtao beer) we ordered ( drunken chicken, drunken pork, drunken shrimp, Thai fried rice, pad Thai chicken and chicken pud see you) The service was excellent, considering it was during a lunchtime rush. I had the drunken shrimp and LOVED every morsel, including the occasional fresh taste of Thai basil. My Tsingtao beer was cold and refreshing down to the last drop. We each had plenty of food with our main entrees that included miso soup. Afterwards we all enjoyed playing The White Elephant gifted exchange game, and no other patron was distracted or disturbed by our holiday gift game. I would recommend this place for group dining, 1:1 dining and even date lunch/dinner.

Just a quick update as I can now speak to the dine in experience here! Please also see my previous review. One thing to be very aware of is that a whole section of the online menu is missing from the dine in menus. I noticed a few favorites were missing, but didn't catch that it was a whole section of the menu, Manee Special, until I got home and looked up the online menu. I'm assuming they would serve items from the whole online/takeout menu for dine in, if someone asks, but am not positive on this. Anyway, I went with a classic, drunken noodles with chicken and it was very good as always. As with many places, they seem to be short staffed, so don't expect anything beyond orders being taken and food brought out. The check was delivered before we could ask about dessert options, and no, it wasn't close to closing, so we figured we'd just head elsewhere for dessert.

Was in the area and was hungry and found this Thai place that I never been to before. So I thought I'd try this place since I do love Thai food! The soft shell crab was sooo delicious! It is lightly battered and crispy. I didn't care much for the dipping sauce so I just ate it plain. I also ordered a beef salad. Also delicious! This place I made a mental note that I will have to come back or get doordash! I washed it down with some Thai iced tea. Left feeling full and ready for a nap!

As other reviews have said, I believe there was a change in ownership / management. The food overall is not bad, but I will miss the old Pad Thai. It was one of my favorite pad thais I've ever had, but oh well. I will still eat here for their other dishes.

The food was big portioned, packed with ingredients and well priced. The spice level 3 definitely has a big kick which was perfect for me but caution for others. Green curry was fantastic and super flavorful. Drunken noodles was a bit too salty however, they didn't skimp on the veggies. Overall, would definitely order again from here!

Have been driving by this a lot and always wanted to try the food as we like Thai food. After we finally decided to stop by, we were glad that we did. What not to like? Good food, clean and reasonable price. Interior in nice decorated in Thai theme and adequate seating arrangement. Food not outstanding but as good as as any other Thai place nearly with a bit lower price. Highly recommended.

This is such a great place for a romantic date. It is small, and you can actually hear your partner! Excellent food, great service, and beautiful decor. Definitely recommend!

I was really looking forward to trying this place. When I looked up the menu online, they all looked very tantalizing. I walked in and was very impressed with the decor...the gold accents, mood lighting, wood, etc. There weren't many people in the restaurant, which was surprising since all the surrounding restaurants were packed. After my experience there, I definitely understand why. Once I entered, I waited quite a while to be acknowledged. Two people came in after me and despite standing right in front of the greeter, he chose to take care of their needs first. This is an immediate turn-off. Since I was meeting a friend for dinner, it was too late to change plans. Once I was finally acknowledged, the greeter/server waived his hand flippantly and told me to sit anywhere without making eye contact or anything. I sat near the door to see if anyone else was treated this way. I noticed that people who had a similar "appearance" as myself were not treated with the same level of customer service as those with a different "appearance." This was very disappointing. If you are going to open a restaurant in a diverse area, you need to give EVERYONE the same level of service. The food was decent, but the customer service made the overall experience very disappointing. I won't be recommending this place to my family, friends, or clients. It's 2023...practically 2024. DO BETTER!

I had Manee last week for the first time and have been craving it ever since so I order more today and it was still so good. I wasn't a big Thai fan, but thought I'd give it another try, and hands down the Tom Yum soup is the best soup I've ever eaten. I got the Manee Sampler both times and it is phenomenal too. Tom Yum soup with spice of 3 is perfect to me, but definitely go down if you don't like spice. (I like to add rice to mine, makes it even better). Drunken Noodles - so so good. I got a spice level 3 on them but would definitely go down to a 2 next time because it was almost too hot for me. But I still kept eating it. I ordered orange chicken last time. It wasn't my cup of tea but my son loved it. It was very savory and needed more flavor in my opinion. But like I said my oldest son who isn't big on sweet flavors loved it. I will be ordering again I'm sure in a few days. It's that good.

Food was pretty good. Service a bit spotty. Food came out at odd times, main courses before appetizers. We went with friends that live near there. There are better choices closer to where we live.

I was in search of some Thai food in the Nora area and decided to give Manee a try based on the Yelp reviews. This will be my new spot!!! As noted in several reviews, the service was very friendly. I tried the Orange chicken and its not overly sweet. I asked for zero spice and it had no hint of any heat. I also liked that it didn't have that greasy after taste. Also tried the Red Curry with veggies and loved the flavor. There was a nice variety of veggies and they weren't limp. I went with mild hotness and it had just the right amount of heat for a palate like mine that doesn't like to be in pain. Looking forward to my next visit and trying the spring rolls.

Wow! Not only have they renovated, they updated the menus and seating arrangements. We have always felt the food was great but now eating in the restaurant is a great experience too. Highly recommend.

During my visit to Metro Diner on 86th Street I noticed Mannees tucked in the corner and bookmarked. Then on a cold, snowy day a few weeks ago we choose to give Mannees a try. This restuarant has a small interior footprint but large on flavor. 4 top tables throughout makes it convenient for most size groups, even large groups. The small corner dining area to the right of the entrance is perfect for groups. We've had the opportunity to visit Mannees twice now and the food and service do not disappoint! The Tom Yum Chicken soup was delicious and I could easily have a bowl of soup with an appetizer as a meal. The Tom Yum Chicken soup was loaded with mushrooms, tomatoes and onions. The spice level we chose was 3 of the 1-4 spice level which was perfect for us. If you're not a spice fan stick with 1 or 2. On our first visit my hubby selected the Pad Thai Chicken with stir fried, thin, fresh rice noodles with eggs, sweet turnips, red onions, ground peanuts, bean sprouts and scallions in a sweet tamarind sauce served with lime. He enjoyed and noted one of the best Pad Thai he'd ever eaten. The Drunken Noodles is my go to Thai entree. It was flavorful, loaded with fresh vegetables and chicken. The wide, flat, rice noodles with eggs, garlic, bell peppers, green beans, bamboo shoots, fresh basil leaves, mushrooms, carrots, bell peppers and onion in spicy Thai basil sauce was perfect for me!! One of the best I've had. If your searching for an appetizer I recommend the Shumai, steamed dumplings, with pork, scallions and shrimp served with their special sauce. The dumplings themselves are scrumptious but the sauce adds the finishing touch. This last visit my husband orrdered the Pad Woon Sen with stir fried crystal noodles with baby corn, mushroom, green onions, carrots, cabbage, celery and bell pepper with their special Thai brown. Husband stated it was by far the best Thai food he'd had. Don't overlook this terrific restaurant if you love Thai food.

Best crispy tofu we've had. All ingredients appeared fresh. Clean and comfortable with friendly, attentive staff. We return every few weeks.

I consider myself a little bit of a Thai connoisseur and have been long time searching for an all around amazing Thai spot and I can confidently say Manee Thai is that. Besides having a wonderful atmosphere with great music and service, every dish I've had has been divine. The tofu pad Thai is one of the best I've ever had (I've tried many). I also love their pad see ew, and their pad Kee mow (drunken noodles). I hardly ever get drunken noodles, but these were the most fresh, best I've ever had by a mile. Love you Manee!

We've been waiting months for Manee to reopen. It finally did! Are these the same owners? We used to see the same 3 people (family) every time we went. We didn't recognize any of the people in the front of the house and the back of the house is now hidden. The inside has been totally remodeled. It is nice I suppose. All the plates and silverware (now gold ware) are new as well. I am very sorry to report that my wife and I were both disappointed. The food was ok, and we're not used to ok food being served here (it was consistently awesome previously). The portions certainly seemed smaller and the gold lined plates and gold dinner ware seemed tacky. Crushed to say we are on the hunt for a new Thai place. Doubtful that we will return.

Ordered delivery through Uber Eats the other day and didn't have a good experience, unfortunately. Out of 3 items, we only got 2 in the bag and one of those 2 items was very spicy despite my requesting the lowest/non-spicy option.

I don't think the limit exists for Thai places in my life. I came here by myself during lunch because I'm exploring restaurants near my new job. I was so happy I found Manee Thai. I ordered the Pad See You and the noodles were so thick and chewy like I like them - great spice too! The entree came with soup and salad, which I did not expect so I was thrilled! The soup was yummy and garlicky and the salad dressing made the entire dish! I decided to treat myself to dessert so I got the sticky rice with mango because I've always wandered what it taste like when I'm at other restaurants. It was so warm and the mango was perfectly ripe!

Visited this restaurant for the first time this evening for a carry out order of red curry. I'll definitely be back again, it was delicious and perfectly spiced!

Went into this restaurant not really knowing what to expect, first time eating Thai. The customer service was amazing. They were very patient with us, allowed us to ask many questions. the food was amazing. I've invited a Co-worker to join me next time their in town. Very lovely restaurant, you can tell it's family owned & they're very personable with their customers.

This place is very chic and eloquent. The atmosphere is is quiet and nicely lit, not too bright and not too dim. Customer service is awesome, we were greeted as soon as we went inside the door and was offered a seat to look over the menu as we were not planning to dine inside but take home. As we were waiting for our food, we were asked if we would like water while we waited. I enjoyed looking at all the decorations around the place!
