My family and I really enjoy having dinner here. When we arrived, we were able to go to a table right away because we had a reservations. It took quite a long time for them to come over to us to get any kind of drink or any service. The server said that they were in between shifts and that’s why it took so long she did apologize. Everything had great flavor. The kids enjoyed their meals and we definitely will be going back.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Mangia Ristorante & Caffé is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you feel that cozy, authentic Italian vibe – like you’re being welcomed into someone’s home 🇮🇹🍝 The food? Absolutely delicious! Fresh pasta, rich sauces, and every bite bursting with real Italian flavor. You can tell it’s made with love. Definitely a place that lives up to its name — Mangia! (Eat!) The service was warm and attentive, and the place is clean and inviting. If you’re in the area and craving genuine Italian food, this is the spot. I’ll 100% be coming back again!

My husband and I have frequented Mangia for several years both as a couple and for hosting special events. Yesterday we had an unacceptable experience, in that my husband found a long hair intertwined with his first bite of the focaccia in the bread basket. He had to spit it out in his napkin and placed it on his bread plate. We told our server and she took the plate and showed it to the manager. He came out to talk with us without acknowledging the issue — rather, he had my husband explain the issue to him — then he acknowledged that he saw the hair on the plate as our server showed it to him. He said he would talk to the general manager and apologized. He asked if we wanted to continue with our meal — we were reluctant as we were turned off, but decided to keep the evening going, but overall, we didn’t enjoy our meals because of my husband finding the hair. At the end of the meal, our server said the manager wanted to offer us a free dessert to either eat there, or take home. We stated that we were full so no thank you. Our server then stated that the manager said if we didn’t accept he dessert offer, she should tell him and he would do something about the bill. She came back telling us that we got a nice discount — the manager took off the cost of my husband’s entree. We were offended that he would offer the cheaper option first — then offer us the better option if we didn’t accept. All in all, this was handled so poorly and unprofessionally. We frequent Mangia fully expecting to enjoy and pay for a good dining experience. Needless to say, we are disappointed and turned off because of finding the hair, and how it was handled. Right now, we are hesitant to return.

If I could rate the service a zero I would. My friend recommend we go to this restaurant so we gave it a try. Food was alright and atmosphere was okay but the service was horrible . We ordered our food and waited forever to get our entrees and dessert and check. Since we were waiting so long for our food , we asked for more bread. Our server made me feel so weird for asking for more because she looked angry and annoyed . When we received our bread it was thrown onto the table with no words or smile from the server . We didn’t even receive the same bread as we did the first time and the pieces looked torn by hand and not sliced . The server NEVER checked on us when we received our entree and never offered us more water . After dinner we received a box to put leftovers in, however , for some reason the server did not ask to pack our food even though she was asking other tables . After we ordered dessert , we waited forever to get one slice of raspberry cheesecake . This was THROWN onto the table as well. Never have I ever experienced such bad service from a restaurant . That being said , I will never be coming back to this establishment again. I would not recommend wasting your money here . Buffalo has more Italian restaurants with better service and good food . To answer your question below : My friend and I came in 6/19/2025 at around 6 pm and left at around 8:20 . We sat on the bottom floor by the wall with the vase decor . Close to the window but not exactly there . Our server had a high bun but I can’t remember her name . Additionally we were a walk in and had no reservation .

We had a wonderful dinner. Our server, Willow, was excellent. The food was delicious. An overall very nice experience.

Sat at the bar for a nice low key dinner @ 6pm. Service was so great and even better, the SEA BASS and risotto special is absolutely amazing. Top it of with a great glass of red wine and top notch bartender, perfect evening.

Google
What a delightful place! Warm vibes and delicious food. Except for the bar drinks (just mine) and the crouton on my salad. My martinia was just bla not much flavor... i think the bartender was just too busy/stressed. So we will try again. But the crouton on the salad. With everything else so delicious i did not expect a crouton to be 5 days old or perhaps out of a box. I admit 90% of places I have visited suffer the same syndrome - diner won't notice the stale crouton. But it is not hard to make them fresh - why don't restaurants bother?

We have been dining at mangia for many years. Since Covid service has steadily declined. There was once bus help ( service assistants) who would bring water bread etc but those are now gone. This past Saturday my wife and I had dinner on the patio. We arrived at 7:15 for our reservation. We were the only ones in the lobby but yet it took 10 minutes to get our table. After sitting at our table for another 10 minutes the server finally appears. She was pleasant but did not apologize for the wait. We ordered wine and our food at the same time wine service took forever. Bread and appetizers showed up at the same time. We had to ask for silverware. Entrees showed up and I had a veal dish was just ok Portion sizes have shrunk a bit I had two small pieces of veal on my plate. My wife had a chicken dish which was good. She asked the server for salt and pepper and also ordered another glass of wine. The wine took at least 10 minutes but the worst part my wife was waiting for the salt and pepper which never came. She took the majority of her meal home as it was too cold to eat. Needless to say we definitely will not be dining at Mangia for a long time Very sad as we did enjoy dining there Also I always tip a minimum of 20% this time only 10 which was over tipping Working in the hospitality industry for over 40 years I understand service issues this server was not trained well

Yelp
Enjoyed everything we ordered. Beet salad, gnocchi, Mangia salad and a pizza. High quality food at a reasonable price. Wonderful ambiance. Excellent service.

Yelp
Lots of menu options, there's truly something for everyone. Even if you're not a pasta fan, you'll find a dish for you. Great location for business dinners/presentations. There was a room fee and minimum spend; however, on par with other Buffalo restaurants. Brittany was a great waitress. Appropriate number of check-ins and even was considerate with leaving cloches on plates while my partner and I were presenting. Loved her recommendations and friendliness. Everyone enjoyed the apps - giant meatball, arancini (fried risotto balls), stuffed banana peppers, bruschetta, and calamari. I thoroughly enjoyed my insalata mangia, which was a salt-lover's heaven with the olives, jarred artichokes, and gorgonzola. My filet was a over-done, but it may have been because it was sitting out with a cover on it. But no worries, I devoured my entree. Ordered some desserts to go, which were a great way to end the night. The cannoli was my favorite with it's crisp, sturdy shell and almond-flavored filling. Would love to have more restaurants like this in the southtowns.

Yelp
Came here with a small group of friends to celebrate the holiday season together. Our waitress was personable and gave great recommendations. We were seated upstairs (which can be accessed by stairs or elevator). My only criticism about this space was that it was quite loud and even though we were at a round table that sat 5 comfortably, at times it was hard to hear the people at the other side of the table. Food was good though. I had the lobster ravioli for my dinner and enjoyed it. We also shared a few apps at the table and the bread which was also really good. I'd happily come here again but preferably during a quieter time so it's easier to have a conversation.

Yelp
We love Mangia restaurant for their very flavorful Italian food. But don't be caught sleeping on the desserts. At our last meal there, we enjoyed a spectacular crème brûlée and shared a chocolate peanut butter cake. Normally we would not have ordered dessert, but it was special occasion, and we were treating our grandsons to dinner at a fancy restaurant. We love the service provided by the weight staff, and the ambience is so thematic. Would definitely recommend you here for a dessert

Yelp
Really enjoyed dinner and dessert here. Chicken francaise and key lime pie were on the menu tonight and didn't disappoint! They serve the meals with free bread and dipping oil. House salad is an add on cost. The indoor and outdoor seating are both lovely and service was 5/5 spectacular. I would definitely return!

Yelp
Our first time at Mangia's, and it was overall a good experience. There was low lighting which provided for a cute romantic vibe. We got the stuffed peppers for an appetizer which were good, pretty hot though so beware if you're not good with spice. I got the salmon which was pretty good, not really anything special though and not a ton of flavor. My fiancé got the gnocchi which was good, not a huge portion but he added the two meatballs which made for a more robust meal. Our waitress was very nice and came to check on us several times. Overall we enjoyed our time, may come back when it's nicer out to try the outdoor seating as well.

Yelp
Dined here with my parents on a Saturday night -- and seeing as though Mangia has been a mainstay of Orchard Park for years, I was pretty excited. The restaurant is sprawling with two floors and patio seating to boot. We sat upstairs, which gave us a nice view of the village. I will say that it can get a bit loud inside, so if the weather permits, I'd recommend sitting on the patio! They start every table with a complimentary bread basket. You MUST try the pizza bread, honestly I could have made a meal off of that alone. I opted for the limoncello salmon for my meal. The salmon was cooked perfectly and I loved the sauce, my only complaint is that the rice it came with was incredibly sweet, which I wasn't expecting. Had it been more savory, it would've been a home run meal! I'd definitely come back to explore some of their other menu offerings. They have several that span from pasta to pizza to classic Italian dishes -- so there's really something for everyone!

Yelp
The food was very tasty. We started with the lobster crab cake and fried ravioli apps. The crab cake was perfectly cooked and came paired with a savory remoulade and the ravioli was not overcooked. The ozzo bucco was very hearty and the pork was so tender! The demi glaze was tasty and so were the mashed potatoes underneath (the meat was so plentiful it covered the sides!). The cake was sweet and my only gripe is that I wish it was more peanut butter because it was so good. The service was excellent as our waitress was very attentive! It is also a very nice looking restaurant; we sat inside the heated patio which was very nice. Would recommend this place as a date spot or for a nice family dinner.

Yelp
Growing u in orchard park Mangia has always been one of our local favorites for Italian as the food is very good! We sat inside due to the weather and the ambiance was very intimate. I had the lasagna and thought it was good but to be honest does not top my two favorite places for lasagna in WNY! The service was very good as well!

Kelly C.

Yelp
Update the look of this place already. The main dining room is so outdated, feels like overpriced italian at Olive Garden. Update the menu, has it ever changed? The look of the menu is even outdated; the background is gold/yellow with too many options. Thick stemmed wine glasses with the "M" on them, so cheesy and dated, and again, not "fine dining", giving cheap franchise. The second floor lounge crew is cleaning up and giving the "get out" vibe by 9:30 on a Saturday night!

Yelp
First visit to Mangia in a while, it was delicious! We enjoyed the arancini as our appetizer (not pictured). For dinner we had lasagna and chicken Parmesan - large portions! Usually we skip dessert but not this time, we had crème brûlée and chocolate peanut butter cake. Yum! The service was excellent! We were seated right away. I like when restaurants keep to your reservation time. Our server, Ian was very attentive and made great menu suggestions. Restaurant wasn't too loud. I appreciate that the tables weren't too close together. We will go back!

Yelp
Had a great dinner here with my family while I was in town Friday to visit. Everything was delicious. My favorite thing I ate (not pictured) was the pizza bread they serve as a bread course in the beginning - if you like onions you'll love it. The linguine pasta was good but it lacked some of the seafood it promised and only had clams which is why I gave the review four stars instead of five. Everyone loved their meals and we shared a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc as well that was crisp and refreshing. Wish I had room for dessert! We will be back for the great service and the rooftop bar for happy hour next time we're in town. Thanks

Yelp
We were seated upstairs. The second floor has its own host and it's own bar area which I think is nice. Seating was spaced out well. Not crowded feeling even as all tables became occupied. Restrooms were perfect. I love it when a restroom is all tile. I know that it can be cleaned thoroughly then. The upstairs entrance was large and with lots of room and hangers for coats. The upstairs host was a lovely woman. I explained to her I was taking pics for a Yelp review and we had a wonderful conversation. Our server Alexis was also a nice young woman with full knowledge of the menu and opinions on all the entrees. I like it when a server has themselves tried many of the entrees they serve and is willing to give their opinion on them. Alexis told us she is partial to spicier dishes as she explained a couple entrees we asked about. We were a party of 5. I always think you can know a lot about a meal based on the conversation when the food is served. If no one is really talking, I take that as a good sign. If everyone is talking while still chewing, I KNOW they are enjoying their meal. We were all talking with food in our mouths, each of us wanting others to try a bite of our dish to taste how good it was. My wife is very picky about her sauce and her meatballs. She compares everything to The Como in Niagara Falls, which she absolutely loves! Well she felt the meatballs melted in her mouth and the sauce was very good. Not easy to get positive reviews from her. With each dish you can choose whatever sauce you'd prefer. Everyone at our table really enjoyed Mangia's spicy red sauce. My mother in law ordered the spinach raviolis with the spicy sauce. She was the only one that actually ordered that sauce but she made everyone try it and we all thought it was great. Real heat that was full of flavor and not just hot. I had the shrimp and crab Alfredo. I really enjoyed it. The Alfredo sauce is described as "light" in the menu and that is a perfect word. It's not as heavy/rich as most Alfredo which paired it well with the seafood. Shrimp was cooked perfect and there was plenty of crab throughout the dish. This review is the longest I think I've ever written. If anyone has read all the way to this point, wow! I'm gonna end it here and conclude with WE ENJOYED MANGIA VERY MUCH.

Yelp
I surprised my husband for his birthday with dinner at Mangia! While I initially booked the reservation for a table on their patio, it was raining so unfortunately I had to be moved inside. I was moved into the Tuscany room, which was more than fine with me! It was a quaint room with a Tuscan aesthetic which reminded me of Italy and the Tuscan countryside! While I had only been to mangia one other time before this the food was just as good as I remembered! We ordered the meatball as an appetizer which was a decent size smothered in sauce and Parmesan cheese! It was so good and flavorful that I could have had just the meatball for dinner! The waitress bought us a variety of breads to the table with dipping oil and butter which was a nice touch! For dinner I ordered the chicken francaise which came on top of a bed of linguine! It was so tasty and the chicken was so crispy and full of flavors of lemon and olive oil! It was really a great dish that gave me leftovers for the following day! My husband ordered the lasagne which was a decent size and a great choice too! I definitely enjoyed our meal, the service we received, and the atmosphere of mangia and will definitely be back in the future again!

Yelp
Four of us came here for an early dinner on a weeknight. We sat in the bar area, & had such warm and attentive service from Tim. He made my one friend a gin & orange bitters drink that was so good, he had two. Food came out fast & steadily: Table bread - soft white, & a tomatoey herby focaccia w/a yummy oil dip - addictive Arancini - yummy with peas, meat, & a tomato sauce that had a hint of saffron Lamb Lollipops - note to get these as an entree next time! 3 perfect, juicy chops on an arugula, beet & goat cheese salad. Yum! Wedge Salad - a beauty, with crisp romaine, crunchy bacon crumbles, tomato, blue cheese & dressing Mussels - an impressively sized starter w/super plump mussels in a delicious broth Chicken Parm w/spaghetti & marinara - a huge portion, easily 2 generous meals. Tender breaded chicken - a classic Limoncello Salmon - crispy pan seared, on a bed of lemony rice with tender asparagus Triple chocolate cake w/a side of vanilla gelato - omg so fudgy, & perfect w/the gelato Limoncello Parfait - a lemony, creamy dessert - so delish We loved everything, & had leftovers to take home to enjoy the next day. Great food, & attentive service! Thank you Tim!

Yelp
If you're looking for some good Italian food with a great atmosphere, Mangia is the place for you! For food this visit we started with the arancini, caprese salad, as well as the meatball salad. The arancini and meatball salad were delicious and always a must get when visiting! However the caprese salad left much to be desired. The tomatoes were not very ripe and were huge in comparison to the tiny pieces of mozzarella that came with it. It was also severely lacking salt and pepper & definitely needed more balsamic. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it. For entrees, we got the hot pepper marinara, braciole, and the ravioli Rosa. The hot pepper marinara is always a hit & really packs a punch with the spice, and the braciole was delicious and was extremely tender. My all time favorite has got to be the ravioli Rosa though! The Parmesan cream sauce is to die for and the ravioli are always perfectly cooked! It's my go to meal every time! Overall, I can't recommend Mangia enough. The atmosphere is great and the service is always top notch! You can never go wrong with dining here!

Yelp
Mangia is a very nice, modern restaurant in the heart of Orchard Park. Parking is a little tricky and the signage could be clearer about how to get to the back lots. Nice first and second floor bars with a rooftop patio. We dined on the second floor. It was a very hot day, and the AC was cranked, so we actually felt a bit chilly but it beats being sweaty. Our waitress was excellent. As for the food we had, we were brought complimentary bread and dipping sauce. They didn't give you much. The pizza bread was the star, but neither of us really liked the standard white Italian bread. It seemed very dry, even with the dipping oil. Our chef salads were well presented and the house dressing was good. My wife had the better of the two entrees. Vegetable lasagna, which was a great vegetarian option. The spicy sauce was excellent, I did sample some. I opted to try something new, I had Eggplant Francaise, which was lightly battered and pan fried, served over linguini alfredo. The coating packed a big punch as far as flavor, but the consistency of the eggplant itself was mushy. Perhaps it could even be described as gooey. I wish I had Chicken Francaise instead. I've had plenty of fried eggplant in the past, I just did not enjoy this consistency. Overall, the atmosphere and service was fantastic, we will be back but I probably won't order any eggplant.

Yelp
With fast and friendly service I received my order of stuffed shells, it was a huge and delicious portion that came with a meatball. The complimentary bread basket was so tasty , especially the pizza bread.Save room for the incredible desserts, plus there's a huge bar if you just feel like grabbing a beer, wine or mixed drink.

Yelp
Mangia does a good job, I just find it to be too expensive. I've had good food here on my visits. However, I believe there are better options available that are more cost effective.

Yelp
My new favorite restaurant in Buffalo! Everything was incredible from the ambiance, to our server to the whole meal start to finish 10/10 recommend. To start, our waitress was SO knowledgeable with each menu item. She told us about the specials in great detail and helped us choose when we couldn't decide. She deserves a raise! We were there Friday night, a table of five. We each shared appetizers such as the arancine, toasted ravioli and caprese. All incredible! The bread service was incredible too. I loved the pizza style bread. YUM! I chose PASTA BROCCOLI SALSICCIA which was delightful and we all shared each others meals. To finish, we each tried a different dessert, I got the pumpkin cheesecake. So good. I've been raving about this experience all week and can't wait to go back.

Yelp
I just had the best meal of my life, bar none. This is it. A plus. 100% I can't believe I've never been to Mangia. Maybe the stars just aligned, but this meal was PERFECT - IN EVERY WAY, from the atmosphere, the music, but especially the food. Started with the bread basket. You haven't lived until you've tried their tomato garlic bread. Loved the oil as well. Started with a 10/10 there. Then the salad. I ordered the Insalata Mangia. This SALAD was a TASTE SENSATION. Every ingredient was PERFECT. A second 10/10. I ordered it with romaine lettuce instead, and was blown away by the flavors. Generous amount as well. For the entree. I ordered the linguine mari e monti. The only "disappointment" if you can call it that, was that I couldn't find scallops on the menu. I would have gotten this with scallops or crab instead of clams. But the flavor was AMAZING. Everything was so good, I took no leftovers because I couldn't stop eating. It doesn't get better than this. The waitress was seriously on point as well. Well dressed. Nice. Didn't need to write anything down. There to check on things constantly. Loved the quiet in the restaurant and the music playing was perfect! I'm now ruined for every other restaurant FOREVER! Totally worth the price. Slightly pricy, but worth every penny.

Yelp
They start you out with a nice complimentary bread basket , with the most amazing pizza bread. So much to choose from any pasta dish you can think of they have. With speedy service and a smile I received my Ravioli Rosa and it was incredible, so tasty. They have a bar if you just want a cocktail. Plus save room for the amazing desserts.

Yelp
The food was fine the service was great. However NEVER use your bank card there. I had dinner there on 11/2/24. after my card had been run. My date wanted another glass of wine. I was charged Once for $120 plus my $25 tip. by the Waitress Mckinsy who was very nice. However my card was also charged for the initial $109. ( which currently on hold and monies I cannot be accessed from my account). One Might say it is only $109. but it is MY $109. I called and the Manager BRIAN ,who offered me nothing for the inconvenience. Not even an Appetizer on my next visit. It sad to know that Hospitality is a lost ART. Some Businesses don't know how to separate themselves from others. Based on treating customers well and realizing that there are many things that consumers can do with their money.

Yelp
What a wonderful New Year's Evening at Mangia's last night! We had a great dinner with best friends (we all had different entrees and everyone loved theirs), and the service was nicely paced, professional and friendly. And the atmosphere was festive! It's definitely our New Year's Eve go to place! But then it always has been!

Tammy S.

Yelp
Excellent specialty sink choices and delicious sea bass. Probably one of the best I've ever had. Good appetizers and cozy atmosphere.

Yelp
Outstanding service saved the day ! We had a little problem with the reservation (and proved to them with our phone records that it was 100% their fault) but the hostess at the front desk had a very bad attitude and was of no help whatsoever. And that is not normal for this excellent restaurant. This woman was older and had glasses but I did not get her name, only an attitude. That was a departure from the usual charming young ladies that work there but we were offered no apologies or sympathy for their error at all. What startted out as a very bad experience though was rescued by OUTSTANDING service from a young waiter named Cole. We had a member of our party that has some food allergies and Cole made multiple trips to the kitchen to make sure that our guest could order certain dishes that could be prepared in accordance with her requirements. The food was excellent and Cole was better than that. A credit to this business. BRAVO !

Yelp
Mangia is a fantastic spot to bring family and loved ones to for a night out. Service is always amazing and always nice and clean inside. Just make sure you stay away from the chicken parm and any of the deserts, for info the deserts never taste like anything lol, almost like some kinda diet recipe cake/cheesecake, other wise they have an amazing wine selection great pasta dishes, great specials and really nice bread, sometimes. I'd say the only reason they are getting a 4 and not a 5 is because it is a very inconsistent restaurant, one day everything will be great the next not so much, I'd say the best days from what I've collected to dine in are Wednesday and Thursday.
google avatar

Dennis C.

Yelp
Mangia has been in our village for many years and is pretty consistent when it comes to a quality night out. Like most places, they have nights when the staff is taking care of too many tables, and your meal experience isn't what you had hoped but that is more of a reflection on the lack of help these days. We have dined here many, many times and almost always come away with the same satisfied feeling. The bartenders are excellent

Yelp
This place is great! We made a reservation for 7 on a Friday night without issue. I had no idea how large this restaurant was until we walked in, but there were multiple rooms to be seated, and it was beautifully decorated. It has a very upscale feel but it's not overly snooty. The food itself was absolutely delicious. The prices are a bit higher, but this is a nicer restaurant so thats to be expected. Everyone really enjoyed their meals and I think every single one of us would return. The cocktails were delicious as well and the wine menu was decent (although not many cheap options if that's what you're into). Our server was great and we had no complaints! We will definitely be back.

Jessica S.

Yelp
As a regular customer, I always recommend the upstairs lounge at Mangia to my friends. The dark, romantic vibe of the space is perfect for a night out. Rich, the bartender, truly makes the best dirty martinis in the area (and according to the friendly lady sitting next to us, he also excels at cosmos!). Saturday night was no exception--Rich consistently provides phenomenal service, even with a full bar and lounge. Having worked in the industry for many years, I can tell he's a real asset to the establishment. Whether it's the drinks or the atmosphere, Mangia never disappoints!

Mary L.

Yelp
Food was outstanding best wedge salad ever. Would love to live closer to this place. Service was pleasant and not obtrusive.

Frank F.

Yelp
Truly poor service and overall a really negative experience. We sat at our table for more than 20 minutes without any greeting or service. Not even tap water. So, I walked over to the hostess stand and asked one of the 3 hostesses to please send someone to our table. She said yes. But we sat for another 8 minutes -- still with no greeting, no service and no water. We then walked over to the bar area hoping to get service there but we couldn't find a place to sit. At that point, we walked out of the restaurant and crossed the street to finally have dinner. Oddly, as we walked past the hostess stand on our way out of the restaurant, one of the 3 hostesses smiled widely, thanked us and said good night. Good night, we replied in complete disbelief.

Service was great (Cole), great atmosphere, however chicken parmesan was extremely dry to the point where my wife was only able to eat one half of one chicken Breast, very little parmesan cheese on it as well. I had the shrimp and lobster Alfredo, I was disappointed to only see 3 shrimp and barely any lobster. Personally probably won't be returning.

Yelp
For the mossst part service was just fine. Our server did a good job. However...Tuesday early evening....plenty of tables available...the hostess seated us at the table closest to the noisy bar area..quite noisy... Which made for very difficult conversation. My companion and I both selected shrimp dishes....Scampi and herb crusted grilled..... I was surprised when he said those big succulent looking shrimp were overcooked...mine were too. I haven't been to Mangia in a couple of years...I guess I won't be in a rush to return.

Yelp
Atmosphere: Italian, elegantly casual, dimly lit, open vibe Service: A++ server was David he was patient, attentive, knowledgeable and sweet. Food: Overall Delicious. My experience makes me want to come back and see if the other items are as good. They give you complimentary bread that's soft, warm and fluffy. Love their oil mixture which has oregano and probably Italian seasoning. We had fresh caprese and eggplant neopolitan for the appetizer. Vegetables were fresh and well balanced with their vinaigrettes. The eggplant was breaded and not greasy, perfectly sliced and well portioned. The mozzarella, tomato and lettuce was a nice semi side salad. My friends had the penne al gorgonzola and braciole. Both of which I tasted and were delicious. The pork in the braciole was tender and the Sunday sauce was a sweet delicious tomato marinara. The penne al gorgonzola was creamy and cheesy. Also with tender chicken. I had the Sea Bass special, which was pan seared seabass with gorgonzola risotto, broccolini, and a limoncello and blueberry sauce. This dish was FOODGASM worthy!! Words don't even do it justice. The risotto was creamy and cheesy. The Sea bass was seared to perfection, delicate and well seasoned. It was so good I told our waiter this should be a permanent part of the menu. We had the limoncello for dessert which was a refreshing and cleansing end to our meal.

Yelp
Had a lovely evening here with friends. Started at the bar with blueberry lavender martinis and the scallops appetizer special. The martinis were very refreshing and the scallops were good, but small. There were two scallops and it was barely enough for one person, let alone the three of us that shared it. Pricey for what we got, but again, tasty. We sat for dinner and were greeted by a friendly Shelby who took very good care of us throughout our meal. We did two more apps, the artichoke giovanni and stuffed hot peppers, which were both so good, and the peppers were nice and spicy like we all like them! For our entrees, we had the seafood ciopino, pollo adriatico, the seabass special, and pollo siciliano. Everyone raved about their entrees, especially the seabass, which I think is one of the best meals on the menu and it changes daily. We all shared the creme brulee and tiramisu desserts. The creme brulee was fabulous, but the tiramisu was dry. We mentioned this to Shelby, who immediately brought us another one, which was still dry. They apparently do not make it in house, so I cannot fault the restaurant for this. We spent quite a lot of time chatting and sharing three bottles of wine between the four of us, but we were not rushed and even though it was busy, were not asked to get up after we were done eating. Always a wonderful time and fantastic food. I would recommend a reservation as they can get very busy, especially on the weekends. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Mangia is our go to dinner choice for any and all occasions. The service and food is always impeccable. We love to have Wilanny as our server she is a class act and truly amazing at her job. Her positive attitude, dedication, and kindness makes our dining experience always even better than it already is! The ONLY thing I would change about Mangia is that they would bring back their casatta cake it was the best in town! That does not deter me from still celebrating every birthday there but I do miss it!

Yelp
The food is good. The vegetable lasagna is divine. However last night it took 35 minutes to get our bar order and well over an hour to get at least bread to help my diabetic dad wait for dinner. It was an excessively long wait all around due to a "backed up kitchen." For an expensive meal it ended up disappointing.

Yelp
Good was excellent. Service was amazing. When it's nice weather they have tables outside. Nicely decorated too.

Yelp
One of my all time favorites for dinner. Amazing Italian dining & wine menu. Gorgeous ambience especially in the mid-fall thru winter.

Yelp
Gnocchi is typically made with Potato, Mangia's does it with Ricotta. My grandma set a standard for Italian dishes, one that arguably got surpassed when my meal arrived. Creme brûlée, indescribable. The coating of caramelized-sugar with warm custard below. Out of the many I have tried, this is beyond the Skylon Tower. I knew immediately when I took my seat on the rooftop patio, this dinner was either going to be overrated or phenomenal. From the entrance to the patio, the atmosphere was classy and well dressed, yet intimate with a swagger like the Chop House.

Yelp
As always, Mangia did not disappoint. The atmosphere is absolutely wonderful either at the bar or at the tables in the dining room or on the second floor. The food is exceptional and the service leaves nothing to be desired. We always love going here. Best place in Orchard Park.

Yelp
Wonderful menu whether you go for lunch or dinner. My favorite place there is the rooftop seating with multiple tapas to choose. So it doesn't always have to be about an elegant dinner. Do what you love to do with your family and friends.

Yelp
I've been to Mangia 3 or 4 times and it still holds up as my favorite restaurant. The best part of Mangia is the portion sizes. Unlike a lot of Italian restaurants where you pay a pretty price for a small plate, at Mangia, you get what you pay for. Every penny is worth it. The only cons I have are to have a little more space near the bar area for those who just want to come and get a drink, instead of standing around in peoples way. And also, the banquet room is veryyyyy loud, to the point you have to yell across the table. Other than that, the food is always consistent and great, there's a great variety of dishes and drinks, AND the free pizza bread is MANGIA!

Yelp
This past weekend I ventured down to the Southtowns for a dinner at Mangia with some friends. I'd heard a lot of great things so I was looking forward to checking it out. We were seated farther down in another room next to the windows which were open with a nice breeze and view of the village. The decor inside had an upscale feel. The menu offers a great variety of cleverly crafted Italian-inspired dishes. We got the calamari appetizer, which was crisped to perfection with a side of marinara. For the main dish, I got a seafood pasta dish which had sea bass, mussels, shrimp and calamari which an impeccable sauce. It was unlike anything I've had and was simply delicious. The service was just above and beyond most restaurants in the area. My glass was never empty and the servers were so polite every step of the way. I will certainly be back, and even make the drive to the Southtowns for Mangia's perfectly crafted Italian dishes and service.

Yelp
What a gem restaurant in Orchard Park. I love Italian food and this place had it! Even on a Thursday night the restaurant was completely full. This casual upscale restaurant is very inviting with friendly staff just like something you would find in Italy. For drinks we went for the refreshing cucumber mint mojito and black cherry mule. Both were great! Mangia means 'Eat up' in Italian and I love the name. For an appetizer to share we tried the Mangia Meatball. It's their house meatball with Nana's Sunday sauce and parmesan cheese and it was amazing. All the flavors you're craving in one bite full of spices and herbs. The arugula beet salad with chicken was very fresh with lots of ingredients that go so well together. The Lobster Ravioli in a Prosecco cream sauce was delicious. The lobster tasted amazing! The special pasta with scallops was also very good. Our server, Pierson, was very well mannered and had many great recommendations to help us decide what to order. This place was definitely a highlight to my trip to Buffalo! I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Excellent food, excellent service, but sitting in an overly loud dining room for an extended time doesn't create the greatest ambiance. Overall though a great dinner option!

Yelp
These photos don't show what a waste of money this order was. Super tiny portions and the food isn't all that great. I can't even elaborate right now because I'm so disappointed. $120 wasted on sub par food from a small restaurant. Never again.

Yelp
Great birthday dinner. Food was altered perfectly as requested. I would definitely go back again.
