My wife and I always enjoy going to Mangieri’s. We usually get a fresh salad and split a pizza but the pasta entrees are good too. They recently refreshed the interior color palette and it looks calm and relaxing ( no more vibrant red paint ).

Christopher Knebel

Google
I really like the crust! Otherwise the Sicilian pizza was fine. The Caesar salad was a little overdressed for me, but decent. The sauvignon blanc I had was super cold which I was very appreciative of. The atmosphere at the bar on a Sunday 7pm was super dead, but it was fine because they had baseball on. The woman who served me at the bar had a great level of service. The portion size was perfect and the food came out fast. But overall, it was just a pizza place in my mind.

Google
I had an amazing experience here. The pesto pasta was rich and flavorful, the pizza had a perfectly crisp crust with delicious toppings, and both the fried mozzarella and cheese bread were the perfect starters—crispy, cheesy, and comforting. Huge shoutout to Russell, our waiter, for being so attentive and welcoming. He made us feel right at home and ensured everything was perfect throughout our meal. Great food, great service—I’ll definitely be back!

Google
We are regulars here and always enjoy it. The prices are very reasonable, the food is very good, and the service is excellent (thanks, Robert!). We usually have one of their great salads and a Supremo pizza. The "Whiskey Business" cocktail is our favorite and they have a very good selection of wines for half price on Wednesdays. Nice patio for outdoor dining. Highly recommended!

My wife and I have been visiting Mangieri's for over 2-years. We go there mainly for a light lunch. Our favorite dish is the lunch special pomodoro pasta that is served with a small bowl of salad and one slice of garlic toast. We love this dish--it is tasty and is always the same! "Calm" is perhaps the right word to describe the atmosphere. We have always been served with politeness and respect, as one would expect in any restaurant. Most recently we were served,on two occasions, by Mr Russel. He is a real nice guy, Listens carefully to our special requests and serves well. I am aware of the challenges restaurants are facing in today's times. I sincerely hope Mangieri's continues serving the community forever. I wish the very best for this restaurant.

Google
Excellent dinner! The spinach artichoke dip with bread is always so delicious!

Google
Lasagna was good and large portion. Spaghetti was ok. House salad and Caesar salad were good. Good service.

Google
This is one of our favorite places for pizza. Great flavor with a fantastic crust. Russell has been our waiter several times and he does a fantastic job of making sure we’re happy and have every thing we need.

Yelp
Lasagna is good, service is very sweet, and the price is very affordable. Fazolis-esque! Next time I'd want to try the pesto pasta or wrap! Cheers!
google avatar

Larry E.

Yelp
As usual the pizza and fried mozzarella was excellent! Fast delivery and it hit the spot perfectly on a busy night!

Yelp
Back again with these pasta cravings! Stopped by for lunch yesterday and got a pasta lunch combo for $14! It also came with a house salad which I ate way too quickly to snap a photo but it's basically romaine hearts with grape tomatoes, olive, and cucumber slices with choice of dressing on the side. A garlic cheese slice is included and not, I should've got an order of this because I basically inhaled it. It was so good... perfect blend of butter, cheese, and garlic on the toasty but soft hoagie? My partner wanted to snack on something so he got the kids portion pizza. It's cute and just the right amount of you're not too hungry and looking to not have leftovers. What a delicious lunch!

Yelp
Stopped by to pick up a small 10" Capo Pizza, Garlic Cheese Bread, and Baked Buffalo Wings. If going to pickup your order the best way and order online on their website. It only took about 30 minutes until it was ready. The bartender was nice and I even ordered separately a beer to take home with me. The pizza tasted great where it had great flavor. The cheese bread was refreshing and the chicken wings were just as good as always. They were baked not fried like other places.
google avatar

Kelsea K.

Yelp
The cold fermented dough, seasoned to perfection, is the base of your pizza... or you can opt for Gluten Free (or even cauliflower!) crust. There's usually a pizza of the month, and they even offer vegan cheese as a topping! My kiddo (7) loves the chicken alfredo, and the adults enjoyed some cocktails and cheesy bread with the bruschetta (which was pillowy-soft garlic bread with crispy edges slathered in pesto & topped with mozz & cherry tomatoes, and perfection with a bit of marinara & garlic butter drizzled on top). We got a small "Wild Boar" pizza (fresh jalapeño, pepperoni, mushrooms, mozz & parm), and I got my custom fave (pepperoni, chevre, garlic & artichoke heart). All mouths and tummies left well satisfied (and leftovers in tow)! Cheesecake & tiramisu did not make it to the mug shots... RIP. You guys were delicious!

Yelp
Casual place to enjoy pizza, pasta, or salad. I enjoy going here when I am in the area.
google avatar

Deborah L.

Yelp
Honestly, the service here is fantastic. The management hires team members that want to be there, and are interested in how much you love your pizza! Most importantly, they care about your service experience.
google avatar

Angela C.

Yelp
Thanks Jaden for taking care of us tonight. Our calzones were amazing and delicious. This is one of our favorite neighborhood spots.
google avatar

LeeAnn M.

Yelp
I'm ALWAYS pleased with my food. We typically get take out, but I've enjoyed the bar, the restaurant and the patio as well. It's a great local pizza place with some good pasta dishes too. Not a five star only because no longer offers delivery unless you use an app service.

Joseph S.

Yelp
Loved the food! Pizza's are apparently their thing, for good reason. Don't usually have desserts but pleasently surprised at the quality. The service was efficient and friendly. Our waiter Jadon was was very excellent at handling our large table. Kudos for that!
google avatar

Jason D.

Yelp
the service was excellent. Jadon was our server and he did an awesome job. The food was outstanding as well.

Yelp
Got seated quickly versus the near by dining restaurant that had a one hour wait time. The bruschetta on garlic bread with pesto, cheese & grape tomatoes is tasty. My medium Toscana pizza with spinach, artichoke & mozzarella cheese was filling. A Thirsty Goat Amber pint washed it down nicely. Wait staff is friendly, but inexperienced because our food was served without flatware & I had to get up to request the utensils from the Host stand. Second round of beer was not remembered by waitstaff. Setting is pleasant with the wine theme artwork. They had a brisk take out going on as well.

Don S.

Yelp
This is for the Slaughter Ln location. The quality of the pizza has become poor in the past month or two, maybe starting in the new year. They must have changed some of the recipes or cooks, or quality of the ingredients. Specifically the Margherita and Marry Ann's pizza are so bad now, they pale in comparison to how they were last year. I will not order them again. I'll try other pizzas but I fear the quality for those might have gone down too. Too bad, this used to be one of the best pizza places around. Maybe the ownership has changed ? Not sure. Something major has changed recently so that the pizza is no longer good.
google avatar

Jack G.

Yelp
BEWARE. Used to love the pizza. Ordered two pizzas tonight and they changed the crust without notice. Crust is no longer thin and crispy. It's thick, doughy and terrible. Tastes more like a Little Caesars $5 pizza now.

Russ I.

Yelp
OK Italian menu, but lacks atmosphere, fresh flavors, spices and all the fun of Italian cusine!? It feels like cooks don't care much or know much about dishes that should pop. Pizzas are particularly poor - soft crusts, limp, skimpy toppings. Its a shame, this place should be rockin', but instead, its just feel like some left some high school kids to run it.
google avatar

Craig C.

Yelp
Today we came here for lunch and had the chicken parmigiana with spaghetti and house salad. My wife had the baked Italian French dipped sandwich and all was great. Fast friendly service we were seated quickly and the food was hot tasty and cooked to perfection. The lunch includes a house salad which would cast an extra $6.50 if not on the lunch special. Come on over it's a great restaurant

Esmeralda S.

Yelp
It's too HOT in there!!! I went in to eat some lunch, but I literally could not stand the heat for the first few minutes I was there. Although the lovely waitress brought over some drinks for me, in the end I couldn't even order food and left from the heat. Please turn the A/C on in there. We're in TEXAS, it's already hot outside at all times, let me & the workers enjoy a comfortable atmosphere.....

Cory B.

Yelp
Pesto Primo pizza was delicious with the cauliflower crust. Great service by Jadon. Will be back.

Stacy D.

Yelp
The food is so good and the atmosphere is very lovely! Our server, Jadon was very accommodating and gave great servic.
google avatar

Lauren R.

Yelp
We were originally craving wings and came around this cafe, and then pasta sounded good too, so we decided to stop by for dinner. Best decision ever! Those spicy wings are great, and the chicken Alfredo hit the spot. My partner got the meatball calzone and was really pleased with it. I got the cheesecake to go, and it was just okay. I'd probably get something chocolate next time. But we will be back for sure! The service was quick and friendly. Decently priced too.
google avatar

Kelly S.

Yelp
Great Pizza in Circle C! They always have great priced wine, excellent service and the food is good recommended for families or a date night!
google avatar

Kaeleigh S.

Yelp
We ordered takeout and it was good. Not bad at all, but also nothing stellar--it was an okay pizza for the price. They have gluten free options which is a huge plus. Service was also really good, super nice person on the phone and curbside. Definitely willing to give it another try but wouldn't particularly go out of my way to go here again.
google avatar

David Z.

Yelp
I'm updating my review with the same rating with some caveats. Mangieris was a rock star during the pandemic. They adjusted quickly to pandemic rules, offering online orders with both delivery and curbside. Ironically, without dine-in customers, the quality of the pizzas improved. In the past 6 months, they've been a little more hit and miss. They've botched a couple of our pickup orders. The pizza crust has been inconsistent- sometimes it's excellent and sometimes it's average. The freshness of the ingredients has also been up and down. For now, I will repeat my 4 star rating because they have a good variety of pizza options, appetizers and desserts. When the pizza is good, it's very good. But they do need to work on being more consistent from week to week.
google avatar

Robb S.

Yelp
Great Pizza, I take it out every weekend. Fridays get busy so play ahead. Staff very efficient and friendly too.
google avatar

Raj J.

Yelp
Commercial pasta and pizza place. The food is average that's it. Service is good ambience of decent.
google avatar

Dave T.

Yelp
We live in the neighborhood and this is a "go-to" place for us to eat. Try the honey bbq chicken wings or pizzas. Amazing.
google avatar

Stephen F.

Yelp
They nailed the ambience and the food is affordable, tasty and worth waiting on the likely dinner time rush - this place is always buzzing
google avatar

John K.

Yelp
What a terrible crust... Totally over priced and deceptive... Terrible value. Pizza you get has nothing to do with the pics they have on their website. This is NOT NY style at all... Doesn't even qualify for pizza in my book. Worse than any chain brands. The worst part is the dough they use for crust. Regular sauce is below average but toppings are surprisingly decent. Yet, the pizza they. ring tastes just bad and they are totally deceptive in their advertising and pics.
google avatar

Emin S.

Yelp
The pizzas are good, they are good. It's hard to come by decent pizza in Austin these days and this neighborhood pizza joint delivers. We usually do take out post pandemic. They are usually on time. Weekends can be a little tricky as they run into delays on the weekends. The staff are always energetic, friendly and welcoming. The place is clean. Post pandemic I would say the interior needs an overhaul. All the Furniture and decor could use change. How about a lighter palette I find that the interior decor scheme is so far it feels like a cave. The patio seating is ample and amazing when the weather is agreeable. This is a good local family owned business, give them some love so they can take it to the next level!

David C.

Yelp
Ordered take out and it was a very tasty pizza. Could have used a few more toppings and the sauce could have gone all the way to the edge but it was was good. Still looking for a go to pizza place. But this will do.
google avatar

Douggie P.

Yelp
I always get the cheesy bread and lasagna here, so delicious! I highly recommend trying :) I forgot to take a picture of the bread, I couldn't resist eating it!

Dianne D.

Yelp
The food is very good and service is fast. I love the bread they serve you with olive oil and herbs to dip it in

Yelp
I visited Mangieri's Pizza Cafe on 1/10/2023 and tried their greek salad and hot tea. The tea was a black tea that was tasteful with a cinnamon type of smell and aftertaste. One thing that I enjoyed was that they had both indoor and outdoor seating. They have plenty of seating which is a bonus! The menu has a lunch special during their lunch times. The service was okay. The waiter forgot to include the chicken I requested in my salad. It was no big deal as I came here during my hour lunch break. It's a good lunch spot with a good wine menu as well. Mangieri's Pizza cafe is a decent spot to grab some grub during lunch and dinner. The atmosphere seems to be a place where older adults eat. I've come here a handful of times and have not seen many young people except the workers.
google avatar

Thomas M.

Yelp
Trying restaurants in my new neighborhood and this one was a good find. There was only one waitress working inside, so she was pretty slammed and service was a little slow. Their take on bruschetta wasn't bad, but it was different in that it was basically a slice of Texas toast with halved tomatoes on top. This wasn't something I'd order again, but I'll definitely explore the rest of the menu. I ordered the supremo pizza and it was what you would expect from a typical supreme pizza except their dough which is very soft and doughy Don't leave without getting a slice of tiramisu!!
google avatar

Karol M.

Yelp
The pizza at this local business is generous on the toppings and spices. I especially like the vegetarian options (The Toscana is my favorite pizza of all time). Prices are reasonable, and they offer both delivery and pick up. The dining room is small/intimate, and there's a small separate bar area with a bartender on duty. Most people get their pizzas to go, but the dining area is usually full as well. There are a couple of dedicated parking spots in front for picking up to-go orders.
google avatar

Yelp
Five stars for both food & our server Zach L. We sat at the bar & ordered a bottle of wine. Started with some of your delicious buffalo wings. We asked Zach about some of the menu items & we ended up ordering spaghetti w/ meat sauce & mushrooms & a large Greek salad that we split & an order of lasagna. We knew we wanted leftovers, Yum! Zack was very attentive, filled our water & iced tea glasses even though we didn't even ask. He provided us extra napkins too. He made small talk with us about the extreme weather and other things. This was on August 9, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. we cannot wait to go back. Hope to sit at the bar & we hope that Zach is working. We will be back soon.

Yelp
Near our home and in a convenient area. I love their chicken and cashew pizza. A perfect place for a quick bite or Togo orders. Friendly staff.
google avatar

Anh N.

Yelp
Fast fwd 4 years and this place still is great!! Service is wonderful. Thanks to Maddy for not only hosting but waiting on us! Came on a Thursday evening for a late dinner to celebrate a birthday. They even sang to our birthday guest and gave her a birthday dessert and sang to her! They have a full bar and good wine list! Artichoke dip with chips was flavorful and a good starter. I love the pizza crust here because it's thin and just right. Try the Wild Boar - yum. My" go to "pasta is the Pomodoro Cremso and add chicken. So good!
google avatar

Gene D.

Yelp
I always have had a good meal from Mangieris. It's not just pizza their salads are big enough for two. Meat ball sandwich is a real classic. My favorite evening meal is peppers and sausage. A lot of food but not too much and seasoned just right. I live two miles away so; usually go pick our food up. The staff is real friendly.
google avatar

Diya J.

Yelp
Came here on Wednesday and had a great experience. The patio seating outside is nice and peaceful. On wednesdays they have 1/2 price bottles of wine so we ordered the rose! The service was a bit slow.. but the pizza was good- it's thin crust. They had vegan cheese, which was great. Definitely looking forward to coming back when the weather gets better.

Gary T.

Yelp
They doubled the price of the luncheon specials, and removed the drink from the special. The 1/2 calzone and small salad was a hefty $15.00 plus tax. This same meal was about $8.50 and included a drink. The luncheon dinner salad was cut in half and now they charge extra for two pieces of toast. At noon, the restaurant had only three tables being used. Yet, we waited a long time for a waiter. Apparently their loyal customers are bailing out. We will do the same after many years of patronizing this little restaurant.

Lauren N.

Yelp
We've been getting food from this location for years. Recently we've noticed it's gone downhill. Thursday evening we ordered dinner for the family from here. Two bites into my pesto pasta I thought I had picked up an olive or something, but instead it turned out to be something that looked like it was pulled from the kitchen or bathroom drain. It was a huge blob of hair and other stuff that I can't even think about again. After vomiting, I messaged the restaurant on Facebook with images and have yet to receive a response. I called the restaurant and the manager on duty refunded my pasta meal and I asked to send him pictures and he said "I trust that you had a hair in your food." I expressed that it wasn't a hair but he didn't care to see the pictures. He said he'd refund my meal and talk to the staff. Just a heads up, it really makes me question the cleanliness of their kitchen and the attentiveness of staff to miss something like this.
google avatar

Kasper L.

Yelp
I gotta say I'd come back here for the service and wings-not the pizza. Meal started off with a waiter asking if anyone wanted a free pizza since someone didn't want it. Hey, free pizza sounds great to me! Service overall was excellent and attentive. Really nice staff. I really enjoyed the apps here. The saucey wings reminded me of a place in my hometown and felt like good comfort food. The zucchini fries were quite tasty. I'm a sucker for fried food and this was prepared well. The pizza was pretty good but I didn't like that the pizza was cut into squares instead of slices.
google avatar

Victoria W.

Yelp
Yummy! Living out in hill country really limits your choices for delivery, but I'm glad that Mangieri's is one of those places, especially right now. On those nights that working from home and taking care of baby makes cooking dinner impossible, Mangieri's to the rescue! What do we love? Everything! The pizza is definitely a family favorite. I'm slowly working my way down the menu and so far have tried Bella (a tad bland for my taste), the wild boar (2 thumbs up! So good!), and the margherita (classically delicious. We've also built our own pizza where the hubby picks a topping and I pick a topping (pepperoni and Canadian bacon), which is a family favorite. What we want more of? I think my husband's biggest complaint is the pasta portions for the price. He loves him some chicken fettuccine Alfredo, but the portion is small, unlike the price tag because whenever he gets pasta, he needs a side of pizza to get him full. Cue the pepperoni and Canadian ham pizza, which allows me to explore some appetizers such as the fried zucchini (average, I wish it was just an assortment of fried veggies, i.e. zucchini, eggplant, etc.). The best part of the fried zucchini is probably the ranch and marinara. As you may know...I love sauces! :)
google avatar

Danielle K.

Yelp
The sauce here is delicious. The pizza, cheese bread sticks and pasta dishes are a favorite. Glad I found this family owned gem!
google avatar

Ryan D.

Yelp
Lovely atmosphere, food was so fresh and yummy, pizza was so good! Our waiter Kyle was quick, friendly, funny and polite. First time here and we will be back for sure.
google avatar

Lauren C.

Yelp
I've come here during the week and during the weekends and there is never a crazy wait. I love their calzones. They are fairly big for one person. Plus their calzones are filled! They do not skimp on the cheese. Their spinach and goat cheese salad is my favorite of their salads. My spouse always gets the Toscana pizza and enjoys it.
google avatar

Dylan O.

Yelp
It was a Saturday night, another tinder date had stood me up for the 3rd time. I decided after a sad side salad and the third glass of boxed restaurant wine- I'd go next door to Mangieri's to eat actual food. After some conversational fumbling with the hostess, and reluctantly solo- sliding into a 4 person booth, I ordered the standard water and another glass of wine. After a few sips, the waiter came to take my order- and not only asked how I was but asked how my night went. Of course, the night was awful- but his genuine conversations and service gave me hope for Gen Z generation- because I've lost hope in the millennials. Excellent experience- will definitely come back if I get stood up again. Kyle was fantastic.

Marcia N.

Yelp
More expensive than anticipated. Coming from northeast, we have enjoyed better at corner "mom&pop" in Philadelphia and NYC. We really miss genuine Italian food since moving to TX! Everything tastes "Mexican"
google avatar

Waliya L.

Yelp
My parents live in Circle C and whenever we're visiting and want pizza, this is our default choice. The pizzas are much better than your usual chain pizza places - way more unique choices, fresher ingredients, option to get other food as well etc. You're also going to pay a but more, but it's worth it. I actually like how the pizza is cut into squares - you can eat exactly how much you want without having to split a slice and I can avoid having to eat around a crust We last ordered here in December and chose to pick up the pizza. I got there right on the time they told me the pizza was ready. But when I got home (a three minute drive) the pizza was cold, so it must have been ready earlier. I like my food piping hot, so this really annoys me. The olives on our pizza had pits, which we didn't realize until my dad almost broke his tooth on a pit. My mother called them the next morning to suggest they tell customers about the pits. The manager was very apologetic. She refunded our entire order and gave us a $40 gift card - all without us asking for anything. That's really great customer service.
