Old town, new tastes: Hoi An is positioning itself as a foodie hotspot - SilverKris

"A nautically themed second restaurant from the same chef that blends vibrant Latin-American influences with locally sourced Vietnamese ingredients; the menu emphasizes bright flavors and bold combinations such as a zesty tuna ceviche, grilled red snapper encrusted with cashew nuts and coriander seeds, and giant prawns finished with passionfruit, garlicky butter and a touch of bitter chocolate. The atmosphere is lively and lounge-like, reflecting the owner’s time in Texas and travels through Central and South America." - Connla Stokes

Google
I really enjoyed the items I ordered, especially the mango sticky rice, everything was absolutely delicious. Although the place wasn’t the neatest in terms of appearance, the quality and flavor of the food more than made up for it. I would definitely recommend this spot to others who are looking for tasty, satisfying mango treats

Google
I've visited here on several occasions when craving mango flavored desserts, but it's honestly nothing special. Theyre kind of on the pricier side for what they offer, quality and taste wise. There's not much to say about service. Interior decor is like any other run of the mill dessert shop before the social media craze so not overly nor unnecessarily decorated inside, but that's not a bad thing. If you're wanting mango desserts then this is one of the few in the area for it but certainly not worth going out of the way for.

I finally got to try Mango Mango, and honestly, it was worth the wait. The mangoes were so fresh, sweet, and juicy that every bite felt refreshing. The mango ice cream on top was creamy and perfectly matched the fruit, bringing out that rich mango flavor even more. I liked how the dessert balanced sweetness without being too heavy. The texture was smooth, with just the right mix of fruit chunks, ice cream, and toppings. It really hit the spot for a mango lover like me. Even though I had to wait before getting served, the taste made up for it. A delicious, refreshing treat that I’d definitely go back for again.😍😍😍

This place is just absolutely amazing. Some desserts are little pricey but they are worth the money. This is going to be my to go dessert place in Plano after a heavy meal!!

Google
Very crowded on a Friday night. The taste is okay overall. We went here to get beans shaved ice, but it turns out that they don't make these. Nice vibe for casual dessert and chilling. I did notice a majority of the patrons were of Indian descendants, which I found interesting. I can recommend this place to anyone!

******Mango, Mango, Mango🥭🥭 **** Mango, Mango, Mango — Everywhere! If you’re a mango lover, this place is definitely meant for you. After all, who doesn’t like mangoes? 😋The spot is always crowded, which speaks to its popularity — but unfortunately, the experience didn’t fully live up to the hype. The taste? Just average. Nothing particularly outstanding to write home about. That said, they do make sure mango flavor is in everything — from ice cream and toppings to cream and cake. It’s a one-time visit for me. One major downside was the lack of cleanliness. The floor and restrooms weren’t well maintained, possibly due to the constant stream of customers. While it’s impressive that they manage to source mangoes year-round (possibly from Korea), it seems the focus is more on pushing out orders quickly than maintaining quality, hygiene, or customer experience.

Google
I visited Mango Mango Dessert and tried the mango mille-crepe cake, mango ice cream with fresh fruit, and coconut sago with black rice. The mille-crepe cake was light, creamy, and the best item I had. The coconut sago was refreshing with a nice mix of flavors, while the ice cream tasted good but leaned a bit icy. Portions were generous, service was quick, and everything was beautifully presented. A great spot for mango lovers, though a little pricey for casual desserts.

If you love mango, this is heaven! Everything on the menu is mango-inspired, and everything we ordered was so refreshing and delicious. We had the Special Mango Juice Sago & Pomelo with mango ice cream, the Mango Mille Crepe Cake, and a Mango Smoothie — each one packed with fresh, sweet mango flavor. You can really taste the quality and freshness in every bite and sip. The place has a fun and cozy vibe, perfect for enjoying something sweet. Definitely coming back for another round of mango goodness! 🍋🥭

Yelp
We had the mango snow ice. It had mango puree and fresh mango chunks. It was good. I would have preferred Ataulfo mango. They have lots of seating. IT's a good place to bring friend in after dinner. Service was pretty good.

Yelp
I went with my family on a weeknight evening, exited to try this place after a while. The service was friendly. I asked the worker about my nut allergy and she was helpful, but seemed confused whether coconut counted as a tree nut (luckily I can eat it). After ordering, our desserts came out relatively quickly. I ordered the coconut mango sticky rice with coconut ice cream. The mango was very juicy and fresh. I also adored the coconut ice cream and thought it tasted great with the mango. Unfortunately, I found the coconut sticky rice a little harder and chewier than I'm used to. I didn't enjoy eating that part and felt that it downgraded the dish. My family tried the crème brûlée crepe cake and did not enjoy it very much. They complained it was more custard-like than expected. Overall, I think the mango was delicious but I'm not sure if it is worth traveling for. I can see coming for a quick dessert if you're in the area.

Yelp
It's a great place for mango lovers; practically their entire menu contains mangoes! There were lots of people coming and going so it was a bit difficult finding a spot to sit.

Yelp
Came here with my friend and his wife based on the recommendation because they have been here before and there really enjoyed it. I definitely recommend it and will definitely return when in the area.

Yelp
Love love love this smoothie from mango mango. I personally get extra coconut because I like my smoothies on the sweeter side and it is so delicious. This smoothie is especially good during mango season but even when it's not mango season their mangos are still sweet. Prices are veryyy affordable. Fun fact, they do sell mangos by the box! Also they do get busy towards the evenings/closer to closing so I would recommend going during the afternoons or early evenings.

Yelp
One of my fave Asian desserts cafe! You can order via kiosk and when it's ready they will call out your name. Lots of comfy seating. Great place to sit and read or do some work. This is what we got: 1) Mango juice, sago, grass jelly, mochi, red bean. 2) Mango ice cream, mango, lychee jelly, red bean. We gobbled it up so quickly! So refreshing on a hot summer day.
google avatar

Serene C.

Yelp
This place is amazing! We loved the mango combo we got with the ice cream, sago pearls and pomelo. It's super tasty and everything went well together. Excited to return and try more things! Great place for mango lovers!

Yelp
If you love mango and have a sweet tooth, you'll love this place. Unfortunately, I wasn't very impressed as it was too sweet for me. Staff was friendly and there is ample indoor seating. Value: 8/10 Food: 7/10 Service: 8/10 Experience: 7/10
google avatar

Yelp
Great dessert place! Gets pretty packed during the summers! I had their green tea Millie crepe cake and the mango green tea ice cream. So goood! The place is a bit small but ehh it's okay. Can't complain it was good!
google avatar

Yelp
Mango mango, this is the first location I have gone to for the Mango mango franchise and I must say I am hooked! Being in Texas, this is a must try! It's so refreshing, mango quality is always great! It is always busy on weekends with families, with plenty of seating. I wish the coconut mango drink could be vegan so I could try, I do love the grapefruit drink also! A8 is my favorite! Highly recommend mango mango as a dessert option and great place to come enjoy :)

Yelp
What is the point of ordering ahead?! Still waiting for my meal when I ordered 20mins ahead. So stupid!!!
google avatar

Christine G.

Yelp
O M G! If you love Mangos, you have to go here! I think my mouth was in heaven with every bite that I took no matter what I tried. I especially loved the bowl which I would highly recommend. It is such a cute place to come grab dessert real quick and there's a good amount of seating available. Also, the service was so quick and easy and the staff were so friendly. There is a computer available for you to place your order and it only took a few minutes for us to get all of our treats. Highly, highly recommend if you are in the area.

Yelp
I fell in love with their mango crepe cake years ago and have been coming back regularly since then! Dare I say their crepe cake is better than Lady M's? The whipped cream between each layer of crepe is subtly sweet and so delicious and the mango on top is juicy and fresh. The crepes themselves are soft and melt in your mouth. The inside of the cafe is bright, clean, and well-decorated, with plenty of comfy spots to sit and enjoy your dessert.

Yelp
The Mango Sundae and Mango Cake Brûlée were so delicious two thumbs up. Definitely coming back to try other items

Yelp
Mango Mango is a great dessert spot in the DFW area! I'm a big fan of mangoes so finding this spot was HUGE. Me and my friends all ordered their Strawberry Mango Juice Sago & Lychee Jelly with mango ice cream (AKA the A3 on the menu) and LOVED it. It literally tasted like a smoothie... such a refreshing dessert! However, fair warning: the dessert melts very quickly :( And, not sure if this was a one time thing but me and my friends had trouble with picking up our orders. We ordered at the kiosk and weren't given any receipt/order numbers, but all of the completed desserts were called out according to their order numbers. After a bit if a long wait and confusion about the pick-up process, we went up to the counter and asked for our desserts. The employees asked for our numbers (which we didn't have) and we wound up having to guess which cups were ours, which caused us to receive our desserts slightly melted :( Still tasty, but the process could've definitely been more organized...

Yelp
We stopped by to grab some dessert to go and it didn't disappoint. The place itself was a bit dirty but it was Mother's Day weekend so I suppose they were busy with other matters . We grabbed the mango Mille crepe cake and a mango sago - both were absolutely delicious . If you are a mango fan, you will want to try this place out !

Yelp
This classic spot in Plano is known for its delicious desserts. My personal favorites are the durian cake and the mango crepe cake. Just a heads-up: the durian cake does have a strong smell, but it's creamy and not overly sweet. Their mango dishes are also all very solid as they always have fresh mango in store.
google avatar

Yelp
I didn't find this amazing dessert place until my most recent visit to Texas, and for the last 3 years, I truly didn't know what I was missing! Their mango smoothie tasted fresh and homemade, and their mango pancake stack was even better!! The green tea pancake though, truly takes the cake!! The taste of matcha was so strong that it felt as though I was drinking a matcha green tea latte! I loved this place so much and I wish we had one in my town as well! Will definitely be back for more amazing treats!

Yelp
* Taste/Quality: 4.5/5 * Service: 4/5 * Ambiance/Experience: 4/5 * Value for Money: 4/5 * Portion Size: Generous * Style: Casual Modern Asian Dessert Café Mango Mango is a refreshing spot if you're looking for unique Asian-inspired desserts and light bites. Their Mango Mochi, Mango Pancake, and Mango Mille Crepe Cake are standout items -- fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I especially liked the Mango Coconut Sticky Rice, which had the perfect balance of sweetness and texture. The service is friendly and relatively quick, even during busy times. The ambiance is bright, casual, and perfect for a relaxed dessert outing. While prices are slightly on the higher side for dessert, the quality and portion sizes make it worthwhile. Definitely a must-visit if you're a fan of mango or just want a fun dessert experience.

Yelp
Delicious, delicious, delicious! Super cute establishment! Even when they are busy, everything is ready in a timely manner! You never have to wait long! While you wait, there are games you can play there and a couple claw machines as well that have some cool prizes! The crepe cakes are the perfect sweetness and no light and airy! The pancakes are delicate and filled with the lightest whip cream! Love coming here every time and trying something new!
google avatar

Phi N.

Yelp
This place smelled like you were walking into a giant mango, which is a great sign that you know the mangos are fresh and not frozen. The mango pancakes were perfectly sweet with a mango crepe on the outside filled with a light cream and chunk of mango. The mixed fruit bowl and waffle were a bit on the sweeter side. The fruit teas are higher in price than typical boba shops. I would go back to try their other mango desserts!
google avatar

Yelp
This is such a great place to get a sweet treat! I love that there is a kiosk for ordering because 1) I'm awkward & 2) I can customize my order without confusion. Our desserts were ready in about 5 minutes, & they were delicious. It was just the right amount of sweetness, & it was cool & refreshing on this hot summer day. Will definitely come again~

Yelp
This was a really pleasant surprise for my family. We were going to another business nearby but ended up seeing the menu and decided to try it given we love mangos (what Indian family doesn't?). We had two of the desserts and they were delicious. I wasn't sure what to expect with the strawberry lychee dessert but it was absolutely delicious. The lychee, mango and strawberry all combined together very well. The other dessert we got had a cream with mango ice cream with chunks of mango. It was also good but next time I would definitely go for the lychee dessert. The space is really nice with indoor and outdoor seating. There are large tables to accommodate bigger groups (most of the people there were families or groups of 5 or more people, which each table can easily accommodate). We would definitely come here again!

Yelp
We stopped by for an evening treat and just happened to get there at just the right time. It was a lovely place with lots of families having after church or end of first school day treats. It's autulfo mango season and they were sheer perfection in everything we ordered from the mango slush to the mango Mille crepe cake. I had the watermelon slush and enjoyed it, but wished I'd gotten the mango version instead. The only thing I wasn't crazy about is the whole "order from a tablet attached to the pole in the middle of the room" system. Only one person can order at a time, but I guess it keeps the team working on pushing out orders in a very timely manner.

Joaquin P.

Yelp
My wife and I love this place! If you love mangos this is it! We get the mango crepes all the time it's made so perfectly! Though it does get very busy due to its popular demand but its sure worth the wait and the prices are very reasonable
google avatar

Yelp
Walking into this bright and cute place, I was very excited to try some of the mango desserts. The didn't have some of the items on the menu. But we were able to order based on the owner suggestion. The mango pancakes was soooo good! I love the cream filling. My favorite one is the Mango Mille Cake. Looks aesthetic and delicious. The mango with black rice was ok.
google avatar

Lisa J.

Yelp
The dessert is yummy and very easy to customize on their kiosks, but do be warned that later times might sell out of some items. The service was good and the interior was comfortable for a friend group of 5.
google avatar

Grace L.

Yelp
This place is the equivalent of a child's candy store, but for mango lovers. Most everything is mango flavored, and they are the sweetest I've ever had. We ordered the mango mango combo with a side of rice balls (shown in the picture) as well as two mango pancakes. The rice balls are like boba texture-wise and slightly sweet. The mango pancakes have a literally chunk of mango inside with a mochi outside. When you get inside, there's a self-service kiosk for ordering although you can also order at the counter. Lots of seating (we had 8 people in our group and got a booth table) and the background music is quiet enough, we could hear everyone talk. Will definitely be back to try everything on the menu!

T G.

Yelp
The slowest service ever! Even if you place an order on the app it's not ready when you come in! There's always some kind of confusion with every order. I just get what's vegan so it's okay. It's great they have something for vegans. Ambiance it's not great. Place needs to be updated and cleaned. The floors are dirty and sticky and it's dusty.

Yelp
Love the is place so much. I've been coming here since they opened and it's been consistently great every time. Fresh fruits with tasty desserts. Great drinks/teas. So many sweet treats! Service is great every time. Lots of tables.
google avatar

Stacy W.

Yelp
Love the mango desserts here! Yellow mangos are super sweet and I don't think you can go wrong with any of the deserts here. It does get pretty loud and crowded here
google avatar

Breana H.

Yelp
My husband and I picked up some desserts after going for ayce hot pot/korean bbq nearby. The order point made ordering easy and painless (especially because we were hoping to peruse the menu for a few minutes). The staff was very quick and perfectly pleasant and the desserts themselves were ridiculously good. We got the mango sago ice cream and the mango pancakes. Holy cow. Everything tastes supremely fresh and just the right amount of sweetness. So glad to have this place so close by!
google avatar

Siubie T.

Yelp
Listed closing time 11pm here but Google listed 10pm, called 9:42pm to confirm, got hung up 5 times! Seriously?
google avatar

Matthew W.

Yelp
It's quite a nice place to get some drinks and food and chill with friends. Lots of benches and room. The orders came out quite quickly, and you can also order at a kiosk rather than at the counter. The mango coconut smoothie was delicious. Very refreshing and also very fresh. You should probably stir well however, as it's thick and icy, and drink soon after buying since it won't refrigerate well. They also don't give much in terms of portions since a large is like most other cafes' smalls. It's fairly inexpensive at only $5. The durian cake/crepe is good for newcomers to durian, but not strong tasting on flavor so it might be too light for durian-lovers. Still, it's light and airy and it's fairly good-portioned, enough for a couple to share.
google avatar

Jonathan F.

Yelp
It's no Hui Lau Shan, but it's a close second for a mango lover like me. First time I had Mango Mango was in Denver, and when I saw that there was one in Dallas, I had to go. My go-to is the Snow White Mango Sago Pomelo dessert. It has pretty much all my favorite things in it. I've tried a few other ones, but still come back to this one. I've tried almost all the mille cakes and am really a fan of them. You can't really go wrong with any of the flavors. If you love mangos, give this place a try.
google avatar

Tee J.

Yelp
A coworker told me about this spot since she knows I love mangoes, so I gave it a try. It was my first time eating crepe. Not a fan. I did like the mango juice, however. If you like mango, you should definitely check it out.
google avatar

Pari P.

Yelp
Great spot for a sweet treat! Interior is very cute! They have board games you can play while having your dessert. Many u I whr options to choose from.
google avatar

Lily H.

Yelp
My family and I love coming here for dessert. We love the variety of options of desserts and drinks. So far every dish we have tried has been good. We really enjoy the jellies and beans in some of the dishes as it reminds us of home... Vietnamese desserts also have a lot of coconut, jellies, and beans in them. It is a must try if you are having a sweet tooth craving and great place to hang out with friends and family.
google avatar

Katy C.

Yelp
I come here once in a while for mango desserts - obviously. Today was pretty packed, no one at the counter. We waited patiently, seeing there were 4-5 people in the kitchen, and they can see us. 2 came out but avoided eye contact and never acknowledged us. We brought our business elsewhere. I understand they're busy, but if they could have taken 2 seconds to say, " hi, welcome in. We'll be with you shortly." I would have stayed.
google avatar

Catrina L.

Yelp
Will you still live in San Francisco where we had plenty of options for Asian dessert places. Now that we live in Texas specially in the suburbs, we don't really get access to these kinds of desserts so every once in a while, my husband and I would make a drive to Plano whenever we are having Asian dessert cravings. This place definitely hits the spot. Although they are busy, I like that they have an ordering kiosk which makes the process faster. Their price is reasonable and the service is efficient the desserts were delicious and we will definitely come back

Mitsumi 3.

Yelp
I ordered the mango sundae and it did not disappointed it had that delicious sweet mango taste that I was craving. it looked exactly like the pictures. The workers were friendly and pretty fast with my order I plan to bring more of my friends to this place.
google avatar

Cassie L.

Yelp
Love this place! And the owners are SUPER nice!! I've had their mango pancakes, strawberry mango slush, and red bean, green tea smoothie
google avatar

Vasile S.

Yelp
Delish!!! This place had amazing mango desserts. Would go again. Definitely recommend people try this place. Prices were decent too.
google avatar

Alyssa H.

Yelp
I've been to Mango Mango before, and it's never disappointed. I usually always get the Mango/Strawberry Sago mix, and it's such a delicious and refreshing treat. What I love about their desserts is you don't feel too fully/groggy after eating them. It's lightweight, yummy, and a perfect sweet for summer. The service is quick and the food always comes out within minutes of ordering, and the interior is so cute and charming. It's a little expensive, but I view it as a nice treat every once in a while. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
google avatar

Ani S.

Yelp
Service is rough but delicious mango themed desserts. Literally everything has mango! Honestly the pictures all look the same so it is hard to order. Once you do order, your dish will take its time and likely look identical to every other dish! Fear not, chances are the dish is delicious! We ordered a mango-Nutella crepe with mango ice cream, mango juice with rice and mango juice with watermelon. Our dishes took FOREVER TO COME. The workers call your number or buzz your beeper (for some reason we had both in one order). We literally went next door, ordered boba, used the powder room, watched everyone finish their dish and still was waiting to be called. Once the dishes came, they did not disappoint! The dishes were all a VIBRANT Mango color (surprise! ) and the mangos were ripe and juicy. Definitely a must for all mango lovers!
google avatar

Kartik K.

Yelp
This dessert shop specializes in Asian desserts, especially Korean. They have a section on warm/ hot desserts which is quite elaborate and interesting. Service is fast and dining area is equipped with a automated self pay kiosk so you can scroll through the menu without holding the counter. The menu has over 50 different options. If you are adventurous it might take you many moons before you will exhaust what they have 2 (much) offer.

Yelp
Came here just for the Durian Crepe. Since masks were still enforced at the beginning of the year (when we visited), I was confident that the 'sweet, sweet smell' of Durian wouldn't chase the other patrons out, so I sat down and took my time enjoying my crepe. I was very happy to find that the crepe is made with real durian! The texture of the crepe was soft and fluffy, and there were no dry bits. I was very happy with my decision. I didn't try any of the other desserts that actually had Mango - I had my heart set on the crepe.

Dang N.

Yelp
that looks good but it looks messy AF when i had this order. Also a bit of pricy. like this $9 for just a very small cup.
