Manhattan Hotel Salida

The Manhattan Salida is great! Our room was clean, spacious, and had great views of the Arkansas River and S Mountain! Our cute outdoor patio was an added bonus when enjoying morning coffee. If you get the chance to book a room here during the holidays or when there is music in the park, you can enjoy it all on the balcony without having to leave the hotel. The property was very communicative when it came to the check-in/out process, parking, and door codes. Highly recommend staying here (especially in Room 1) if you ever get the chance!

We stayed at the Manhattan for two nights as part of a road trip with my son. Great location, close to everything. We originally had one night but the management team was great and accommodated us on short notice to add a night. Super friendly and attentive management team. Rooms were comfortable and clean - they can be noisy as you are right above Boathouse Cantina but not a major issue - it was great to see Salida so lively, even in the winter months. Don’t pass up staying here - shopping, restaurants, and nice staff all make it worth while.

Room was great with wonderful views. It was a relaxing environment with very comfortable beds. Location was great and easy access from the parking area. We plan on returning with a group of friends in the future. We enjoyed pizza at Pizza Rio and drinks at the bar in The Boathouse. It was a fantastic stay.

This place is amazing! The views are just beautiful! Having a cup of tea on the balcony and listening to the river is just the best thing to when you wake up. The bed was super comfy, and the pillows were perfect. With the Boathouse restaurant downstairs and Pizza Rio upstairs, you have all the food you need. Don’t forget to have the jalapeno poppers!

Great location for a visit to Salida. We enjoyed the back deck of our room. Plenty of places to eat nearby. The communication about parking was good. We parked in the public lot across the bridge, which was fine. There were plenty of places to park the car as we loaded the car the next morning. The air handler system in room 5 is loud so the hotel provides earplugs if don’t like the white noise.

I originally reserved this room as a stopover for Telluride. I now wish I had planned for a couple days. This room was fantastic! A balcony right on the creek with a view of the mountain, an entrance next door (to our room) to a bar/restaurant with outside dining, and located right in the heart of the wonderful, quaint town where almost everyone had a dog or two. There was even a raft rental right next door. I loved it!!!

The room was right above the Boathouse Restaurant. It had a tiny balcony that faced the Arkansas River and you could hear the river. It was lovely to be able to hear it and see it from the balcony. It was also close to some great shopping. We had so much fun walking around.

Modern and comfortable room in an old historic building. Pizza Rio is right up the stairs and the river is right outside. We will definitely stay here again. Loved everything about it.
