14 Must-Try Speakeasies in D.C. | Eater DC

"Enter Manifest — what looks to be a classy barbershop — and ask for the bar. A hidden entrance emerges and you’re swept up to the second-floor speakeasy, Out of Office, where a dark, industrial setting awaits. Take your pick of bar seats or booths to sip on strong cocktails that twist classics like La Boca, a take on a daiquiri, or the Black Savant, a darker more complex drink using pina colada elements. The menu offers several — but not so many that you’re overwhelmed — experimental and boozy choices." - Abi Newhouse

A couple of my friends and I went there last Wednesday for their speakeasy bar. The speakeasy is beautiful with comfortable seating, especially the booth areas. We ordered two rounds of drinks which started at $18. I appreciated that the menu stated the vibes for each drink which made it easy to find the best option. If you do not like any of the pre-constructed cocktails, you can describe what you’re interested in and they’ll make you a drink. My friend did this option with a mocktail since there weren’t any on the menu. The drinks were beautiful and yummy. It appeared that our server was also the bartender and maintained the entire speakeasy by herself. We didn’t mind that it took a little more time to come around and get our drinks. We were taking our time as well. When our first round of drinks came out we asked for our waters that we had yet to receive. The staff member was rude and dismissive. She was negative with us for the rest of our time there. Overall, my friends and I liked the speakeasy vibes and drinks but were thrown off by the service. Due to the negative service experience, I’m hesitant to return.

Decided to go here on a week day, we got a same day reservation pretty easily. The drinks were beautiful and the aesthetic of the speakeasy is gorgeous. Really nice for a more intimate space, it’s not too loud or crowded. Our service was a little slow but our server was so nice that she discounted our drinks. Definitely recommend their specialty cocktails, we tried most of them and they were all fantastic.

I didn’t come here for a haircut. I came here for a night cap on Halloween with two friends. And it delivered. 🔥 Delicious and creative drinks and wonderful vibe. Highly recommend.

This was for the barber shop: I was really excited to try this place for the first time with my boyfriend for a treat, we are not members yet bc we haven’t tried the place and were directed to walk in. We travel 40+mins and walked in and were told we would not be able to be helped for another 4 hours… it doesn’t seem like this place has the capacity to accommodate walk ins it might only be worth it for members. The staff was nice though and it looked clean. There needs to be a better system to those who want to try this spot and see if we want to become members it was pretty disappointing to be turned down after calling and planning ahead.

If you're a fan of Maketto along H Street NE, you may like Black-owned Manifest in Adams Morgan. With a slick storefront that could easily be in NYC's Soho or Santa Fe, Manifests sticks out in an inviting way. Step inside and you'll find a barber shop that triples as an apparel store, cafe and cocktail bar. Stopping by to crank out work on a Friday afternoon in June, here's my experience: 1) Cafe: Open Tuesday through Sunday starting at 9 a.m., coffee from Black-owned Black Acres Roastery in Baltimore is brewed. In my two hours there, I ordered two iced lattes and it was delicious. The espresso used was more nutty, which I loved. With a splash of sugar/honey, it was refreshing on a hot day. My bill was under $10 for two lattes. At 6 p.m. the cafe bar turns into a bar called Out Of Office open Thursday through Sunday. While sitting at the bar in the afternoon, they did offer to make me a cocktail- Manhattan or Negroni. 2) Space: It's a design-forward space, albeit small. They make good use of the space with the barber shop in the front by the large windows. The cafe/bar is in the back with the apparel spread throughout, including on a second floor. Working from the cafe bar, they had strong wifi that was easy to connect to and outlets behind the bar for my computer. 3) Service: Every staff member I encountered was friendly and clearly proud of what they created. 4) Parking: It's always a problem in this neighborhood, but I was able to snag a spot a block south along 18th Street NW. Using ParkMobile, I was able to park for two hours.

Google
This place is such a great find. Definitely a must visit for DC. We’re slowly becoming regulars. You should note that the bar itself is open until 11PM or Midnight on the weekends. The hours are confusing on Google as they reference the barbershop. Blue is a fantastic bartender!!!

Google
I saw this place on Social Media and had to check it out for myself. It's a barber shop, coffee shop and a bar all in one. Reservations are recommended but we came during the week and was able to snag a table towards the end of the night. The drinks are to die for and they were all so delicious and esthetically pleasing. The service was on point and the inside is just a vibe you gotta experience for yourself. Thank you for making my first visit so pleasant!

Google
Absolutely a fantastic experience. I say experience with emphasis as this was definitely different than any simple haircut I’ve had before. This is a genius idea to combine a retail location, coffee bar, wine bar, and hair salon. It’s a great place to come and relax, and for someone visiting from out of town, exactly what I needed for just $100. Before I knew it an hour or two went by, whether it was talking to people I just met, or getting the haircut, or just relaxing and decompressing. Any time I’m in Washington DC and need a haircut I will be going here again.

Yelp
Manifest is such a hidden gem in DC! Outwardly, it appears as a barbershop only but upon entry it is so much more. The appearance is very sleek. There is a bar and boutique space on the same level as the barbershop. Once you are granted entry into the stairway you are directed to a very intimate setting with dimmed lighting, great music, and enough space for small parties to grab a beverage and indulge in good conversation. This is a great place to either kick off your evening or to end it! I enjoyed my experience here.

Yelp
if there was a could've been better button I would hit it witha gavel. way too much zest from the guy that answers the phone & sits at the entry way . he was not helpful with modifying my reservation at all... if I present a problem you should provide a solution not attitude (as if spending MY money here isn't a big deal) Business 101: hire the right ppl for the right roles. this interaction alone tampered the complete experience for me and my guests. the physical spot is nice, great lighting, moody, updated, curb appeal the whole 9. However, they dropped the ball again with service. The server who actually took our drink orders was nice not phenomena just nice. The seat greeter was none of the above. The presentation and education behind drinks could have been better but hey people who drink a regular rum and coke may be more impressed. I like to be informed or given the art of story telling with unique places and menus IE: like "hey our best seller is this because", or "our so and so drink includes this one of a kind ingredient" They were quick to tell us our 2 hour time frame was up heres the check though. $400 dollars later I'm convinced there is a serious disconnect between the brand vision that's promoted vs the employees that show up to represent. they are not in alignment

Yelp
Manifest is like a renaissance (wo)man! It's a cafe, barbershop, fashion store and speakeasy bar all in one! I'll need to come back here to try their coffee. I visited Manifest's "Out of Office" - their cute little speakeasy upstairs. This place stopped me in my tracks from the outside because of the lovely, clean minimalist architecture! What a pretty and thoughtfully-designed space! You usually need reservations here (and I think they charge you something to put down a spot), but I came at the last hour after dinner next door and thankfully they still had an open table! The staff was friendly enough but standoff-ish - I guess that's the speakeasy vibe sometimes? My friends and I took some fun pictures at the retro barbershop chairs and checked out their fancy couture clothing that they sell. Not sure who can afford those clothes, but it's nice to get that NY/Tokyo/Milan style in here! The drinks here were unique. You can order by your favorite liquor choice or choose one of their concoctions. Expect to pay about $20 a drink. It isnt cheap, so you come here for the experience.

Yelp
I'm going to be removing this place from my favorites. I walked in on a Sunday afternoon and they don't do the speakeasy on Sundays. So basically this is barber shop and behind it is the bar. d it's well lit up in the front. Right behind. That is the When I asked the girl at the desk who is very nice. They only have limited hours for the speakeasy. Already. This is giving me bad vibes so I can't expect it to be that much better. Exclusivity is one of the things that kills a fake speakeasy Parking here is going to be impossible but makes it easy when you come on Sunday. Anyway, I went ahead and went to the McClellan bar inside the Hilton that's just down the street.. that review is coming next!

Yelp
I visited Manifest, a speakeasy in DC, on a Saturday night with same-day reservations. Reservations are a must here, as it's a small spot, but there's enough room to feel comfortable without being too close to others. It's a charming speakeasy with a cozy, intimate vibe. The drinks were solid, and our waitress was relatively attentive. The bathroom was also really nice--worth noting! I'd definitely go back. Special shoutout to the host at the door; he was friendly and welcoming, setting the tone for a great night.

Yelp
I absolutely LOVED my Manifest experience. I walked in and mentioned my reservation, the door opened, and someone was waiting at the top of the stairs to escort me to my reservation. The handoff was so smooth. The music was right, seat was comfortable, and the atmosphere was cozy. The drink I had was lovely (forgot the name but it had rum). They also have mocktail options upon request. Towards the end of my Manifest experience, I stepped into the restroom and out was very clean *see photos* Lastly, I love how the staff escorts you out the door at the end of your visit. The service is amazing and I attempted to return less than 24 hrs later but there were no reservations left.

Yelp
So fun. So expensive though. Such an interesting premise. My cocktail with the butterfly pea (which brought the lilac coloring) was really good! I loved how sweet it was, but how the sweetness isn't overpowering.

Yelp
The Out of Office speakeasy is located behind the Manifest barbershop. The space is cozy and intimate which makes a great way to start or end a date night. Reservations are highly recommended unless you go very early, you might be able to get a table. It's a very small space and they only serve cocktails. They have a wide variety of options and all the drinks are around $20.

Yelp
I have wanted to go to Out Of Office for a while and when I saw a reservation open up randomly, I got excited and booked it on the spot. Now, I'll say this, the only reason I'm deducting a star is because we had to wait 20 mins past our reservation time to get seated. In my opinion, this is pretty unacceptable and defeats the entire point of a reservation. The lounge was really nice and dark, which is the exact vibe I love at speakeasies. The place was small and felt pretty exclusive. I got a couple different drinks and they were all great! The wait staff and bartenders were very kind and personable as well.

Yelp
Manifest truly lives up to its reputation as the sexiest speakeasy in DC. The intimate and hidden setting behind a barbershop mirror sets the perfect mood for a romantic evening. Reservations is a must, the link is hidden on the website behind a drink picture, this exclusive adds a specialized touch. Be punctual, as the 15-minute grace period is strictly enforced. The specialized luxury drink menu and attentive staff enhance the overall experience. Be sure to dine somewhere before or after because this bar only serves drinks. Manifest is undeniably a top choice for a memorable intimate date night.
google avatar

Yelp
Manifest is a fantastic bar with exceptional drinks and stylish decor. However, I was disappointed when I tried to use a gift card at the speakeasy upstairs, only to be told it was only valid downstairs. I was surprised, as I expected the same business to accept the card at both areas.
google avatar

Yelp
My friend and I went to the speakeasy "out of office" one night. You have to make reservations online. Please note: they do not have food. You check in at the front and then wait a while for someone to let you in the secret door which is the mirror. You go upstairs. It's dim lights with a bar and a pretty small seating area. As other reviews stated, we waited a while for it to be empty. My friend and I just had a drink each. I would go back for the atmosphere for a nice night cap for a date.
google avatar

Dee Renè L.

Yelp
Cute cocktails. Creative mixologist if you want something off the menu. Good playlist. Better for a solo date, couple or small (3ish) friend group. Comfy seating and swank ambiance.
google avatar

Yelp
Out of Office, the speakeasy here, absolutely rocks. The entrance is cool (I won't spoil anything), the venue itself is super stylish and comfortable, the drinks are universally delicious, and the service is fast. Easily one of my favorites in D.C.

Yelp
We enjoyed Manifest..and its private speakeasy "OOO". Everyone, from start to finish, was exceptionally professional and kind. The barbershop and adjacent bar are brightly lit, clean, and sleek...and there's a private door that leads to a very stylish, dimly lit speakeasy, with lush chairs but limited seating. Our host provided me with a complimentary glass of rose and our server gave me and my lovely ladies complimentary shots mixes..which was so thoughtful! The bartender also made me a special customized birthday drink..not sure what it had in it, but it was refreshing, slightly sweet and tangy, and absolutely delicious! btw...Reservations on the weekends is an absolute must! Highly recommend..and beware, there's very limited street parking..and the nearest garage is $60..so either ride share or be very patient. ;)
google avatar

Ijeoma O.

Yelp
This a review for their speakeasy "Out of Office". Sad to say but I think this place is a bit overrated. To start, you can only make reservations using a secret link on their website. If you walk-in they'll put your name on the list. We walked-in and were able to secure a reservation for an hour later. However, once we entered the bar, the place was almost empty. The whole time we were there it was never close to being full so the wait was a bit superfluous. When we ordered drinks it took over 45 mins to arrive...and not sure why.. The place was half full and the people that were there weren't ordering new drinks. We eventually had to flag down our server to inquiry about our drinks before they were finally brought out. I like the concept, the execution just leaves a lot to be desired. Also, make sure to eat beforehand, the menu is strictly just drink.
google avatar

Eva A.

Yelp
Have to make reservations, but then they make you wait in the lobby and call you in so it doesn't really feel like a true speakeasy. I liked the entry through the mirror and the lounge vibes, but it was very dark and not crowded. Drinks were way too expensive for what they were. El malećon was the best out of what we got. Costa chica, not so much. Would not return but I see the appeal.
google avatar

Sheila J.

Yelp
The creative and amazing cocktails are inspired by the owner's travels that remind you of being OOO. I've been a few times so I can absolutely say they're consistent. Making reservations through the website takes a bit of a search but the booking process itself is straightforward. If you'd like a custom drink the mixologists will curate a unique cocktail based on your taste. Perfect for an intimate date spot or night out with friends. The music is always top tier at this vibey spot and the ambiance and service are always immaculate. Watch my TikTok about my experience!: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRgPtxvd/ Cheers!

Yelp
This is a review for "Out of Office" the not at all secret "speakeasy" located inside of Manifest. Arrived for a 7pm reservation and was immediately greeted by the hostess at the front. I wish I had taken some time to walk around the space on the bottom floor because the design is really cool. Very very bright with a lot of light wood, fairly simple but great vibe. The barbershop and coffee shop are located on the first floor. Once you're all checked in they press a button and BOOM a secret door opens on its own and you can follow the stairs up to the bar. I don't know if this space is accessible. I didn't see an elevator and the entrance to even get into the shop is quite narrow with stairs and no ramp. Once upstairs we were seated by the window. The aesthetic is very different. Very spa like with a Scandinavian type style. Very minimal, lots of wood. Not my favorite design for a bar, felt more like a spa to me. It was hard for me to get the vibe of the space overall. The music was kind of random, slow soulful music one minute and trap music the next. As for the drinks -- Manifest is a TRUE cocktail bar. Their menu is excellent. Each drink has a little picture next to it along with glassware and tasting notes and all the ingredients. In the back there's even a glossary explaining the orgins of the names. I loved the small attention to detail. The menu was clearly well thought out and well crafted. Now onto the drinks -- I had the black savant which was delicious and BOOZY. It's a sweeter drink but not too sweet and tastes like a pina colada but you really only need one. You can't taste how strong all the rum is but it is definitely present. The drink is different in that there's also charcoal in it. The charcoal makes for the dark color but adds a chalky mouthfeel to the drink. I enjoyed it regardless. My friend tried the jazz and blues cocktail which is very bourbon forward and a good drink to sip on. Final verdict - with prices between $18-$22, OOO is one of the more expensive cocktail bars but cannot quite compete with other cocktail bars in this price range (Silver Lyan, Serenata, even Residents). The drinks are overall tasty and well crafted but not necesarily the most creative or innovative. Here youll find more classic flavor combinations that are good but aren't quite elevated enough to reach its price point (in my opinion). Drinks here are very good and well crafted but should be more in the $15-$18 range. You are paying more for the novetly of the space. Not sure I'd go out of my way to come back but I did enjoy my experience. OOO would be a great place to take family or visitors or anyone you're trying to impress.

Yelp
Went and had a few cocktails on a Saturday night. The concept is unique and loved the true speakeasy feel the esthetic provided. I didn't mind that we had to have a reservation but wished it was a bit longer than the 1.5hours allowed. The bartender did say that usually during the week walk ins are available so will keep that in mind for the future. We sat at the bar and made our reservation about a week beforehand. The lounge area looked very nice but was told those reservations fill about a month beforehand. I tried 2 drinks but the jazz blue soul was my absolute favorite. So good I had to have 2. I would definitely recommend this place for a cute date night or night out with the girls. Just plan ahead!

Yelp
After seeing this place all over social media, my friends and I couldn't wait to give this place a try. As a huge fan of speakeasies, I loved that this one legitimately had that "hidden" component and as a bonus it's black-owned. The first night we arrived we were told we needed reservations and they were full. No fault of theirs but I had attempted to check the website before coming and was unable to see how to make reservations so I assumed they weren't required. Wrong! You need a reservation so make sure to book ahead of time. We decided to come back the next night after the sweet hostess showed us how to make a reservation online. We were taken up to the actual bar promptly, and were seated at a nice table. I adored the vibe inside! It's not too big, but the music, candlelight, and decor really set the tone for a good evening. We placed our drink orders right away and they came pretty quickly. I can't recall the name of mine but it was sweet and spicy and had tequila. It was perfect. We also got some Prosecco for the table. The only negative experience was when a manager (?) approached us and was pushing us to place our final orders after we had been seated for 45 minutes. He informed us there was a table limit of 90 minutes (which goes by fast), but we hadn't even been there an hour. We wound up flagging down our waitress to ask what the deal was and she told us he got our table confused with another. But he certainly didn't come back and apologize for incorrectly rushing us. We wanted to order more but that interaction somewhat soured the end of our visit, hence the missing star. However overall it's a great place, with great drinks and definitely worth the visit!

Yelp
One of my absolute favorite spots in DC! I'd highly recommend it! The vibes in there are unmatched! The service is always incredible, I attribute it to the intimate setting!

Yelp
Manifest is a luxurious barbershop, Out of Office, and a high end speakeasy at night! This review is solely for the speakeasy. K.J. Hughes., the owner of Manifest, created this place after traveling all over the world, immersing himself in cultures, and sought to create a space where people could leave the daily office space and escape to a place where there is highly curated cocktails. This hidden is gem is sleek in appearance, quiet enough to chat with others, and exclusive enough to feel very high end. My party of 6 were able to book a booth online using their Manifest website and Resy (search for it!). What I love about this speakeasy is not only it's luxurious feel but it was also able to cater to my non-alcoholic taste. They didn't have any mocktails specifically on their menu, but I informed them of the flavors I love (fruity, passion fruit, lychee) and they were able to come up with a concoction that delighted my taste buds. Presentation was also 5/5 for their mocktails. The prices for drinks are a little on the expensive side, but I'm definitely coming here again! They have one of the best mocktails in the DC area!

Yelp
Amazing speakeasy hidden inside of a barbershop Reservations are a must. I highly recommend checking this spot as you wouldn't expect such amazing drinks hidden inside a barbershop. Great service as well as the bartender was thorough with the menu.

Yelp
A friend and I visited this beautiful speakeasy bar last night. We didn't have reservation so we thought we would have to find another place to have drinks. The entire staff worked to get me seated with my friend who was able to make a reservation for 1. I was able to join. The bartender was so cool and made the best cocktails. We really enjoyed this place and want to go back!!!!

Yelp
Really loved the vibe of the speakeasy. I sort of new about the entrance but the way they had me open the door was pretty cool! The drinks were very strong and for the amount you're paying they should be. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were very friendly and great with recommending drinks. I will definitely be returning!

Yelp
Really cool bar with a dope vibe. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the drinks and friendly - I really liked her. Had a reservation with a group of 6 girls. We had to wait a little for our table to be ready but the bar did contact us in advance to let us know that would be the case. Drinks were good! I had the black savant and it was fruity and delicious! Took off a star because there was no coat rack - the space seemed well thought out so it was a little disappointing to have to stuff our jackets in a corner (was also rainy that night so it would have been nice to hang them up to dry somewhere). Also, reservation was for 6 and we did have an extra friend come. They were very strict about the capacity (citing fire marshal standards) but we asked if she could sit at the bar. They said it was for reservations but it stayed empty the whole time we were there. There were also several empty tables and we left about 30 minutes before closing. I would recommend but the 'exclusivity' factor is a little much. Do check it out though!

it's lost its touch and i'm so sad. cocktails were still 100% on point however. i really wanted to best for this place. hope it was just an off time.

Yelp
Ooouuu this is a nice concept. Barbershop with a speakeasy. (Took me a while to figure out how to get a bar reservation on their website lol) It was definitely an "out of office" vibe once you get upstairs with nice music and great cocktails.

Yelp
Came here for a quick drink Friday night. Drinks were a little pricey and the cups were slippers. Like everyone was spilling their drinks lol. I'm exaggerating but my party and the table across from us did. Oh and they're really strict with the reservations. I'm speaking about the speakeasy. Other than that I'd come again. Good times.

Yelp
Really chill, dark & moody vibe. Delicious cocktails. Kind and friendly staff. 10/10 recommend.

Yelp
This black owned cafe/ barber shop/ and nighttime speakeasy is one of DCs best hidden gems! They have an incredible bar program! Great cocktails that are well crafted and stiff which is always nice! The music selection and ambiance are spot on! 100% a date night location worth booking

Yelp
We had cocktails at Manifest last night. The venue is beautiful. The front entry area is well designed and welcoming. The barbershop area is sleek and cool looking. We had to wait about 15 minutes for our table to be ready for our reserved time. The business is fairly new so it feels like they are still working out managing reservations and getting customers in and out. The host was nice and friendly. They have a maître d' (self-described) that seems to be doing a lot of jobs. She took our order, seated us, and refilled our water glasses for us. Even though the venue is small, it was clear she needed someone else to help. She had to much to do on her own. cocktails - I got the Costa Chica. I didn't really care for it. The Mezcal kind of knocked me over the head. My friend got the St. Denis she enjoyed it. We also got the Montego Bay it was ok. It kind grows on you. I ended up getting a rum and coke to just cleanse my palate. I gave Manifest 4 stars purely for the ambiance. None of us really loved our cocktails. I'd go back and just get a simple classic cocktail. Note: They have no snacks or food at this point.

Yelp
Beautiful space, but the hostesses' attitude and service put a slight damper on the experience. The bartender and drinks were the highlight. For such an elevated environment, they need to implement customer service training because the hostess was cold and curt when my date asked about seating in the lounge vs the bar. Albeit, our reservation was for the bar, he simply asked about the lounge and was met with a condescending response. I made the reservation and was not aware that there was two upstairs areas, bar and lounge, so I selected what was displayed in the reservation app- the bar. The female host was nonetheless curt and condescending with her response. Clients appreciate when empathy and respect is displayed when a business can't accommodate a request.

Yelp
This speakeasy is so unique and black-owned!!! I had friends visiting from out of town and we kept seeing this location on TikTok. So I'm sure business has been booming since then. I had trouble finding the reservation link on the website, so I called and they were very helpful guiding me through the website. Due to location and traffic, please arrive ON TIME, especially if you are going on a weekend. Parking isn't the best, but it's DC so if you live here you know this. We just made our 15 min grace and the owner was able to accommodate us. We waited about 15 minutes or so before being seated. They are very professional. You walk in and the barbershop is to the left, but they have a cute little coffee station and even apparel for you to buy. You are led through a door and up the stairs to the seating area. The mood gives very sexy, dimmed lights, and perfect for a date night. The whole concept is to be in the moment so you'll see "out of office" and DND. The waiter was so sweet and the aesthetics are really nice. They do not serve food, so please eat before you arrive. The drinks were AMAZING! Well made and just perfect! The music is obnoxiously loud, but they did have a good selection going. I ordered the Sir & Madam because I love mezcal! My friends ordered a rosé and a surprise drink. We did see an up-charge for a surprise drink so if you are not a drinker and want something special please keep that in mind. Overall, I was very pleased with this experience and I certainly will return! I'm glad I was able to support and even brought friends with me!! I highly recommend!!

Yelp
Was able to find a last minute reservation on a Friday night! When you walk in, you're greeted downstairs by the hostess who will open the mirrored door to let you upstairs. Definitely gives an exclusive vibe. Our reservation was at the bar which seats 6. The playlist was on point-every single song! The bartenders were nice and discussed our drink choices with us to make sure it was the flavor profile we wanted. The lights were low & vibey. Overall, a really great experience and will definitely be back!

Yelp
I've never been to the barber shop but the speakeasy behind the glass door, Out of Office, is very cute. Perfect for a date night with low lighting and a creative drink menu. It's small and cozy.

Yelp
Out of Office at Manifest is easily one of my new favorite spots in DC. I went to OOO with friends on my birthday. The service from the moment we walked thru the door was top tier. Everyone was so welcoming. We were then led upstairs to where the speakeasy is located. It was an intimate vibe and we loved it! The drinks were so on point and our server Gia was amazing. I will definitely be going back! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Yelp
I went to Out of Office last night for drinks and it was the perfect speakeasy vibe I was looking for. I entered through the barbershop and they walked me upstairs to the bar area. The bartender was so friendly and even made me a couple drinks that weren't on the menu (because I didn't know what I wanted ). I started with the Black Savant then asked him to surprise me, and he did! I'll definitely be back. Be sure to make a reservation if you go!

Yelp
ooo manifest from the details to the music to the people... the vibe was right. cocktails *jazz blue soul (4.5/5) bourbon, lemon juice, ginger honey syrup, japanese whiskey, lavender bitters, black lemon bitters. tart without being overwhelmingly lemon-y, subtle ginger, enjoyable sipping *terminal 21 (5/5) butterfly pea gin, lime juice, orgeat, simple syrup. originally hesitated to get this one bc it seems almost too simple, but the bartender said it was her fav so naturally i had to listen. i also typically dislike bright colored drinks (neutral colors calm my brain lol). but the butterfly pea wasn't a bright purple like i've seen before. light, smooth, delicate. i loved it. i do enjoy a quality cherry as well *somerset (4/5) aberfeldy 12yr, lime juice, orgeat, black peppercorn syrup. imo good but nothing to write home about. in comparison to how good the other ones were, this was my least fav of the 4. not pictured since it looks identical to jazz blue soul *grand bazaar (5/5) tequila, coffee liqueur, drambuie, banne liqueur, simple syrup. their take on an espresso martini. did not disappoint. liked the tequila sub, drambuie probs added a subtle spice/complexity, had a good shaken froth

Yelp
My husband brought me here and as soon as I saw it the first thing I said was "this place reminds me of Japan" the aesthetics of this place are so beautiful, calm and relaxing. You enter to what is a store and a barber shop. Then the lady opened a door on the wall and took us upstairs to a bar. The drinks and vibes were the best. I would come back to this place any day.

Yelp
Update: 4/19/2022,So my husband really needed a haircut and decided to do a walk in. It was really upsetting because we couldn't get an early appointment with Kristen. Now like I stated before the vibes and place is really nice. Let get into this other Barbar Eric he did an horrible job and it was very disappointing for the amount of money we paid for a HORRIBLE NIGHT MARE . Hubby asked for a 2 he gave him a damn zero in my opinion. This is known to be a high class shop with outstanding barbers but yesterday didn't go as planned. Crazy thing is he knew he fucked up he started spraying a lot of that black dye to cover it up which it didn't work. What a waste of my money it should have been $5 it was $90. Now my hubby looking like a naked chicken. I don't know if I want my hubby to go back unless the owners planning on find a solution for a to fix this devastating situation. My hubby paid because that was the right thing to do but he should have walked out. Pictures coming SOON! 1st time Visit Date:2/4/2022 It was outstanding service my husband was super excited. Kristen was the best and professional. Ladies looking to surprise your man with a little appreciation this is the place. The whole place and service is remarkably he definitely will be back.

Yelp
We had drinks at the Manifest and wow wow! I asked for bartenders choice and was very pleased with what I got! So much so I ordered TWO! Also the maitre d' was so sweet and so accommodating to my large party - even when someone didn't show up! She was so sweet and fun. Drinks are strong but good. Staff are sweet and kind and passionate. The place was trendy and very sleek - even the barber shop too. 10/10 would recommend!
