Friendly staff and delicious food!! Veggies are crisp and fresh, Lumpia is hot, and pancit is flavorful! The market has a variety of items I've early seen elsewhere! And includes a large section of desserts and sweets. If you have a chance to try the Halohalo, it is the perfect end of your meal!😋

Google
Excellent, like my coworker said, "It's is good, very, very good." Everything we ordered was delicious. Pansies were exquisite. It's not sticky white rice but the rice is definitely good. It's worth coming to this hole in the wall Filipino restaurant/grocery shop.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Manila Mart, and it was truly a delightful experience. The food was not only delicious but offered a remarkable variety of choices. The cleanliness of the shop stood out, creating a pleasant atmosphere for enjoying a meal. What truly set Manila Mart apart was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. A special shoutout to Mathew, who greeted me when i was shopping around the store and gave me really helpful information on their products as many of their items were new to me, and Jenny, whose assistance in helping me choose my dish made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Kyla, while enjoying her lunch, engaged in a friendly conversation, adding a personal touch to the visit. Being conveniently close to my job, Manila Mart has become my go-to spot for lunch. The combination of friendly staff, delicious food, and a clean environment makes it the perfect place to enjoy a satisfying meal. I'll definitely be coming back for more.

Google
Always loved their food. My go to place whenever I'm craving some taste of home I'm too lazy to make and also for some catering.

Google
The food is great! Grocery and ready made items available. This place is such a gem! I love the chicken lumpia. The fried pork belly or kewali lechon is also delicious!! Many different options to choose from. They even have catering options.

Google
My husband and I stopped in for lunch after a long absence since we moved from the area. We picked up a catering order of 100 frozen beef lumpia (our kids love these, and they're great to have on hand). The frozen lumpia cost $98. For lunch, we had the chicken adobo, pancit bihan, beef lumpia, and vegetable rolls. Everything was wonderful and even better than we remembered. This was a great treat as we traveled through and will definitely make it a stop anytime we can!

Google
Wow, store went through a redesign. Nicely done!!!!! Given that the last time I was there was back in 2017, I was impressed with the new look, friendly smiles and smooth service. The grilled skewers were amazing. The next time will be with halo-halo and lumpia. Thank you po.

Google
This place is near and dear to a lot of people’s hearts. Will I drive 45 minutes from DC to obtain the very important sky flakes? Yes. Did their halo halo steal my heart? Yes. Will I be returning on my birthday to get more halo halo with Ube ice cream? Yes. If I could give this place more stars, I would. Thanks for being awesome, and make sure to put this place on your map when you come out here. It’s worth it every time 💯

Yelp
I'm glad to see that, other than wine, some restaurants get even better with time. Manila Mart is a staple in The Beltsville area; you must stop by for some of the best Filipino food you will try while shopping for essentials. The place has expanded and renovated since I last visited. Modern fixings, now featuring a drink bar yet, always have the same friendly and smiling service. I tried a few new dishes, but nothing disappointed. Come and ask for a sample or their recommendation; they will happily find something you will undoubtedly love.

Yelp
Authentic Filipino food and great hard-to-find grocery items. Manila Mart is a 30 minute drive from where I live and the closest place I can get Filipino food, so it comes to a huge relief that the chefs in Manila Mart's kitchen know their way around shrimp paste. Manila Mart has all the classic Filipino cuisines you know and love: Sisig, Kare Kare, Lumpia, Palabok, and Chicken Adobo. They have food for dine in, take-out, desserts, and catering. Ready made dishes mean you can get in and out quickly, but sitting down to dine in is the best, as you get your food freshly fried and piping hot. Manila Mart's food is pretty affordable, as you get good portions of rice and vegetable dishes, though I did notice my Sisig portion size was quite small. Flavor wise, I've been spoiled on my grandmother in-law's Filipino food, which Manila Mart can't beat, but it did bring a lot of memories from visiting her. Of the food I tried, I think there strongest dish is their Palabok and Lumpia which are just a wonder of texture and flavor. The Sisig was a bit dry, and the milk fish didn't have enough sourness to it, but both were still devoured. Manila Mart's smoothies are a huge hit. They're thick, refreshing, and bursting with flavor. I tried the Ube and Avocado shakes and they are absolutely perfect on a hot day. Manila Mart's mart section has imported items from south east Asia. I snatched some of my favorite Filipino snack foods, some sauces for cooking, and was very tempted to buy some balut, but realized how much I had already spent that day. The biggest knock against Manila Mart is that both restaurant and grocery section operate under a single register. So if you want to do grocery shopping, avoid going during breakfast, lunch, or dinner rushes. If you're going for a meal, try to avoid periods of people doing their grocery shopping. Great food, great people, and a lot to offer for those looking for some Filipino food in their life, Manila Mart is your one-stop shop.

Yelp
Not sure if Manila Mart's owner or management has changed, but I am noticing that if Toni-Rose is not there and present, the service (or, lack thereof) is pretty much the pits. I stopped by to get my usual order of the beef lumpia shanghai and the pre-packaged chicken asado siopaos; I was told that it would take, at most, 8 minutes for the lumpia, as they are fried-to-order (which is the typical wait time). About 15-20 minutes passed by, and I'm seeing that all the customers that came in after me have received their orders; none of the staff made any eye contact nor were they willing to provide any updates on the wait time. One of the staff members finally comes out - I'm thinking that they're going to apologize and say that my order was well on its way; instead, they stated that they had just received a large catering order, so I would have to wait another 10-15 minutes. Really? This is when I finally realized and accepted the fact that the staff here really has no regards for other people's time, is super dismissive, prioritizes certain orders/customers, and really couldn't care less in how to remediate issues at hand. There was no apology, so I basically told them that I wanted a full refund on my purchases. They had the nerve to ask if I wanted a receipt - um, yes, because I don't trust you. Today was the last straw - and, while I love supporting small businesses, this experience, combined to the other not-so-great visits in the past, made me really regret making all the countless treks and the money I spent here - such a total waste. No more, Manila Mart. You really blew it. +pretty awful service and dismissive/unapologetic staff +prioritizes certain customers/orders

Yelp
I went to Manila Mart to find ingredients for a sago recipe with nata de coco both of which I easily found in this Filipino store. Manila Mart is split into two parts with same checkout counter: 1) a grocery store with fresh produce and canned goods and 2) cafe/restaurant with freshly cooked and delicious food! I got complimentary lumpia on my second visit by signing in with an easy to use reward system. The place has a welcoming and easy-going atmosphere that makes you want to drop in again even if the prices are on the slightly higher side.

Cyril M.

Yelp
I went here with my brother today. The food selection was good they have plenty of good Filipino groceries available. It can be a bit pricey though. But the thing that surprised me the most is the combo meal prices as we looked at the menu. There were no set prices for the combo meals. And we checked our receipt and saw that we got charged $8.99 for the lechon kawali and another $8.99 for the Corned beef. I though it would be like $12.00 for the whole thing since lechon kawali is a but more pricey but it was $17.98 for the whole combo meal. When i asked the staff about this they said it is typically more expensive when there are two meats in meal versus vegetables.

Yelp
There is one reason why I don't mind going to the DMV (technically MVA in this state), and that's because this gem is less than a mile down the road from a branch. I saw other cars in line for the VEIP self-service kiosk drag along people to keep them company, but me, I was happy to have my delicious takeout keep me occupied. Sometimes Manila Mart gets so busy the cashier lines get bit disorganized, but they're always polite when taking my order, and when handing it to me as it's ready. The ETAs tend to be fairly accurate, and I even got an apology when the turon I ordered took longer than expected (the extra wait didn't faze me since I was asking for something I knew they were probably assembling and frying from scratch). Besides, I always end up finding some cool new snack or specialty ube ingredient to buy while I wait for my food order. There's a handful of bar stools at the drink counter if the tables are full. Four stars and change. I'll probably still traipse up to Gaithersburg if I'm hankering for some crispy pata (MG gets the skin just right) or lechon (KYJ specializes in it for a reason), but Manila Mart's pancit and sisig really scratch the Filipino food itch, and their dinuguan is the best I've had in the county. We're excited to come back to try their fried milkfish, chicken adobo, sinigang, karioka, and sago gulaman.

Iva N.

Yelp
Had appointment around the area and I know some ppl talk about the place so here goes. Friendly services, good food overall and served piping hot. I didn't understand how the combo works at first, I had thought there was set price but was just told I can pick from any of them. Didn't realize the price for combo was different on each..ha. The food is yummy no doubt, my halo halo was awesome and very refreshing on a nice sunny day. Would I come back? Yes, I'll come when in the area and probably will try the special of the day next time and eat in. I got the pancit palabok, lumpia, chicken skewers, combo garlic rice w/ beef caldereta/lechon kawali and halo halo. All was great but ortion I'd like to say wish a bit more.. especially I ended up paying about $20 for my combo haha.

Yelp
Support your local businesses! I always come here for lunch and get their lumpia and BBQ chicken. It's always good, never had a bad day. They also have snacks from all over. I love coming here and trying something new always. The staff is super friendly and everything is fresh. Come stop by!

Richie C.

Yelp
Came here to try Sinigang for the first time. Amazing! I normally eat a lot of Vietnamese food, but I saw online that Sinigang was the #1 rated soup in the world. Now I know why. They run this like like a well-organized machine and there are so many things to try. It was overwhelming for my first time in a Filipino store, but I took it all in because I know I will be back again to try as many dishes as possible. I was so excited and overwhelmed that I forgot to take pics, but I have the full video post on TikTok.

Cecile M.

Yelp
I've been going to the store for the last 22 years. The staff is always friendly and the service great in helping me when I need to find items or ask about their recommendations for a particular product. The prices are cheaper compared to other Filipino markets. The food has always been great and reasonable prices. I have placed several food orders in the past for some of my family functions. The place is always clean and well stocked.

Donna Y.

Yelp
This is located in a busy strip near Da Rae Won (Korean restaurant). I've tried the lechon, pancit and pork lumpia. The lechon is very flavorful and tender. The pancit is delicious with a lemony flavor (maybe lemongrass?). The pork lumpia is hands down the best! The Manila Mart is part storefront and part restaurant. The table areas were really busy the last several times I came here so I've had to takeout.

Angela T.

Yelp
Amazing homemade food/ their lechon kawali and lumpia are insanely good. I loved their palabok as well. They were really busy on Sunday at 12 but understandable They have some combo plates, made to order food, boba, ube treats and a Even a grocery. There is ample seating for small groups too. Highly recommend!

Maia H.

Yelp
Ive had food from Manila Mart once before through delivery and it tasted pretty yummy. It's a Filipino mart/ carry out with seating. Clean and staff is welcoming. This particular day was all about the halo halo, This was very delicious however I'm not one for the sweet red beans because they got really cold and hard fast so the texture wasn't great but definitely do recommend everything else that was in it. Will be returning to get some goodies from the mart side as there were a variety of options from balut to salted duck eggs, snacks and seasonings.

Yelp
Best Filipino food and store service closer to the Silver Spring area Their restaurant side has expanded and they sell really good homemade puto (rice cake) is my favorite

Jeff D.

Yelp
Not sure I want to share this little secret but they deserve it. To put it simply: this food is great! Another review suggested lumpia and BBQ chicken. All I can say is THANK YOU. The place won't be in Architectural Digest anytime soon but don't judge a book by it's cover - this place will impress. Shhhh. Don't tell anyone else - just go!

Jessica O.

Yelp
Pros: -The lumpia here is so good, better than other Filipino places that I have been. -They do a great job with chicken adobo every time I have been. -The prices here are reasonable. -They have a mini grocery store and food that you can order there made in house. Cons: -My biggest issue with here is that they do not always serve your food hot. The BBQ pork skewers that we got were COLD and tasted old, like they had been in the fridge for weeks. The pancit that we ordered was also cold. -I got an halo halo dessert here and it was just a solid piece of ice. I had to wait about 45 minutes until it had thawed out enough to eat. The ube ice cream that I got on top was very good though. -You have to remind them of your orders if it is a beverage. If they can make some improvements though I would eat here all the time. Can't get enough Filipino food. I am pretty upset about the standards of the food both times that we came.

Lenny W.

Yelp
Great selection of food. My favorites are the pork or chicken adobo. Nice shopping market and friendly employees.

Abegail A.

Yelp
If you're looking for a legit restaurant to satisfy your Filipino food craving, I suggest checking out Manila Mart. Although it's somewhat of a drive from where I live, I've been to Manila Mart a good amount of times (even before their expansion). Must eat includes: bbq skewers (chicken or pork), Sriracha garlic eggplant with tofu, bistek (thinly sliced beef that's super tender and packed with flavor), lechon kawali (get a pound - you'll thank me later), and the sisig (I like mine extra crispy so I warm it up in the oven when I get home before eating). I like how they added some specialty drinks, bubble teas, and shakes to their menu. Although my cantaloupe juice didn't come with shave cantaloupe pieces like I'm used to, it was still refreshing. I've also tried their taro milk tea with boba, which hit the spot. While you're at Manila Mart, be sure to stock up on some Filipino baked goods and grocery items. Although the line to pay/order can reach the door a times, the line moves at an efficient pace. Service is always friendly and welcoming. Parking can be a pain in their small lot as there are tons of other stores in the strip mall Manila Mart is located in.

Marcus H.

Yelp
Saw this local spot online so had to swing by for a takeout order. Really great staff and service, everyone was friendly and the cashier even gave us a walkthrough of popular items. Got the chicken skewers, combo meal with Adobe chicken, grilled pork belly and garlic rice. As well as a couple of brown sugar milk teas. Long story short I'll be back to check out the other menu items. All the food had a lot of flavor and it was a great price.

Yelp
Wanna know how good Manila Mart is? I just finished eating from there for the second time, and the first time was yesterday. Though both times the place was full of customers either shopping on the market section, eating in the café area, or waiting for their order, the team at Manila Mart came through with their excellent customer service, answering any questions we may have had. Yesterday I had the combo plate with garlic rice, a BBQ chicken skewer, and Beef Caldereta; their beef lumpias; and an ube halo halo. Today's combo meal was also with garlic rice, along with their bistek and lechon kawali; beef lumpias again; and an order of their karioka. Honestly, everything was amazing! Meats were tender, especially the beef dishes. The combinations of flavors played so well with one another. Torn between the beef caldereta and the bistek as my favorite dish I've eaten there, but you really can't go wrong with anything I got to try. My wife also had their chicken adobo and BBQ pork skewers, and both were awesome. The halo halo was a stand-out for sure - a great mix of sweet flavors and textures (especially the piece of flan!), and really fun to eat/drink. Be ready to wait a few minutes for the team to put together your order, especially if it's busy, but between the music (their playlists were a vibe!) and walking around the market, don't expect to get restless. One more restaurant in our area to add to our #treatyourself rotation. Very grateful and happy!

Opie M.

Yelp
I asked for the beef stew and was told it was not too spicy With a questioning shrug, I was asked what else I wanted and I said More beef stew, I don't know why I could not get more beef stew so I got chicken. I got this for my wife, and it was too spicy for her and too fatty for me. Oh well...

Yelp
I used to go to Manila Mart often back in my college days when I was missing my mom's home-cooked Filipino food! After many years, I finally went back and brought my husband for lunch. He ordered the combo with sisig, chicken skewer (we prefer the pork skewer but they ran out), and garlic rice. I ordered the pork sinigang (my all-time favorite Filipino dish) because I love the tamarind broth! If you're looking to try a Filipino dish that you can eat with rice, then I highly recommend sinigang, caldereta/menudo, or adobo! For dessert, I got halo-halo. If you're not familiar with halo-halo (which literally means "mix-mix") , it is one of our traditional / one of the most popular Filipino desserts that consists of shaved ice, toppings (including coconut gel/nata de coco; sweetened beans - garbanzo, kidney beans; kaong/sugar palm; jackfruit; evaporated milk; ice cream (typically ube or mango); and leche flan). It's also really easy to make at home, and you can get all the ingredients right here at Manila Mart. From the grocery section, we bought some Pancit Canton (dried instant noodles - we love the hot chili and calamansi so flavors) and pork tocino (salted & sweet cured pork) to bring home. Always happy to support the Asian community, especially my fellow Filipinos! It was nice to see that Manila Mart is still thriving after all these years and that they have even expanded their space!

Danny K.

Yelp
I visited Manila Mart to see what the rave was about, and was excited to try this place since a lot of my Filipino friends go here often. I ordered the Pork BBQ Skewers ($3.29), which is marinated Filipino style in their homemade sweet oriental marinate & grilled, and I ordered 1lb of Lechon Kawali, which is pork belly simmered in spices and deep fried until crispy. The good: I love the Pork BBQ Skewer! Although a bit pricey for one skewer, I would definitely come back and order 5 of them easily next time. The pork is thick and rich with a sweet glazed bbq flavor, and the texture is tender. The bad: Lechon Kawali was a bit of a letdown. While the meat was tender, the meat did taste a bit bland. Also, the skin was not crispy at all, and was very soft. The sauce that came with it was fine, but I expected more out of the pork belly. Overall, while I was disappointed with the pork belly, I would highly recommend the Pork BBQ Skewer. I would come back and try a different dish on their menu to see what else is good. Key note, it's also a mini mart, so they do have a small section of snacks, frozen food, and vegetables.

Tyler C.

Yelp
Am I reviewing the supermarket? Restaurant? Bakery? Financial service? Perfect place for a Filipino fix. Food is amazing!!! Tea is excellent!! Even with plastic silverware and styrofoam to go containers that serves everything-the food gets five stars. The lumpia Shanghai was incredibly well done! Noodles bihon was terrific. Order the meal you want or a combo of choose two. I avoided the blood soups or organ foods but if that's the authentic Philippino you want, it's here. And a separate bubble tea place makes dessert mandatory. Worth a trip here.

Yelp
The young lady was very helpful with my order. I walked in and they were about 2 people socially distance in front of me. I placed my order then waited in my car for 10 minutes. When I was headed back in to pick it up, the lady was coming out with my order so I thought that was nice. I ordered the combo with the lechon kawali and the chicken adobo with garlic rice. I can taste the slight garlic flavor in rice; not sure it's worth the extra dollar. The meat for the chicken adobo was tender & flavorful. Same with the pork. It reminded me of a fried pork chop but it was more succulent and there was no bone. I think that dish would be great with a sauce but it's also fine by itself. Of course I had some pork lumpia. I ate them all at one time. It's a shame they won't let you at least split the order in half with three of each. You can only split the order if you have 12. I had a dish from here before at a Yelp event and I thought it was the fried pork. After taking a closer look at the menu, I think it was the sigsig. I'll try that next time.

Salomon F.

Yelp
First time going into this shop. Took me by surprise. It's a restaurant on the left and a grocery shop on the right. I looked around and ended up buying a couple drinks. Bought mango milk, mango aloe Vera drink and small yogurt probiotic drink. They were all DELICIOUS. Staff was BEYOND amazing! Very helpful, very friendly. Definitely going to try out the restaurant very soon!

Temima N.

Yelp
I've heard of this place from my boyfriend & he finally took me this past weekend! It reminded me of some places in Eden but with Filipino food! I liked seeing all the dishes & foods ready to be served. We had a halo halo & some Carioca. I really liked the Carioca. It was crispy & not too sweet. The halo halo reminded me of che which is a Vietnamese dessert. Would definitely recommend!

Mark C.

Yelp
If you are in the mood for decent Filipino food, this is a place to check out. The staff here are extremely friendly and quick to get your order. I highly recommend their combo plates. Their pork belly and Essig is really good. Their adobo chicken is also good and comes with a hard boiled egg. They also sell desserts here, but haven't had a chance to try them yet. You can order their foods online through their website and other delivery website. There is plenty of free parking here. Accepts both cash and credit card.

Yelp
My wife and I came back to give the kitchen another try. The bakery items have always been good whenever we buy something. We bought a combo platter with Chicken Inasal, Lechón Kawali and garlic rice. We also bought the Pancit Bihon, Crispy Pata, Puto Pao and Puto Leche.    The Chicken Inasal was a grilled chicken leg quarter marinated in a sweet barbeque sauce. The sauce was quite sweet and spicy hot. There was very little char-grilled flavor. The chicken was tender and moist with a good marinated flavor. Less sugar and heat in the barbeque sauce with more grilled flavor would make this dish great. We enjoyed this dish nonetheless.    Lechón Kawali was pork belly simmered in spices, then deep-fried and sliced. The slices of pork belly had crispy edges. It was tender and moist. The pork flavor and spices were excellent.    The garlic rice had a strong garlic flavor. The rice appeared to be a mixture of sweet rice and regular rice. It was slightly sweet and sticky. Very good except it could use less garlic.    Pancit Bihon had chicken, rice stick noodles, sliced green beans, cabbage, celery and carrots. It was dry sautéed with seasoned chicken broth and soy sauce. The chicken and vegetables were fresh. The chicken was tender and moist. The vegetables were slightly crunchy. The noodles were cooked well. Good taste and texture. This dish has had a major improvement from the previous time I reviewed it. I would suggest adding some oyster sauce and a little sugar or just adding some hoisin sauce. Doing that may not be traditional, but it'll stand above the competition.    The Crispy Pata (pork leg) came with a vinegar/soy sauce dip. The dip had a decent flavor, but there was too much vinegar. They should add finely diced onions and black pepper to add some zest to the flavor. The Crispy Pata came in a small or large size. The small size cost $19.59. We received a pig joint area. Too pricey because half of it was bone and there wasn't much meat. The half that wasn't bone was absolutely delicious. The deep-fried skin was very crisp and flavorful. The pork was moist, somewhat tender and infused with seasonings. Maybe the large size is a better value. This is a must try.    The Puto Pao was a steamed rice dough cake in the shape of a cupcake. It was filled with marinated pork. The filling had pork with asado seasoning, oyster sauce and soy sauce. There wasn't much filling. It was essentially 3 tiny pieces of pork. The flavor was very mild because the amount of filling was so small that the dough absorbed most of the flavor. The cake part was soft, sweet and moist. It had a spongy density that was just right for steamed rice dough. There was a slice of salted egg white on top. This was pretty good, it just needs more filling.    The Puto Leche had a layer of flan and a layer of puto. The puto was sweet. It was a little denser than the dough in the puto pao. The flan did not taste like it had sugar added. This flan wouldn't be a great dessert on its own; but paired with the puto, it made for a good, mildly sweet dessert.    The dining room was well maintained. The restrooms were dated but clean and functional. The service was quick, attentive, friendly and helpful. The grocery area was clean and orderly.  It had many of the things needed for Filipino recipes and other types of food. There were many snacks and bakery items available. They had refrigerated and frozen items. A single brand name for most items. They have meals, a good variety of drinks, bakery items and groceries. Looking for your Filipino fix, then give this place a visit!

Yelp
Located in a smaller strip mall, this spot is part restaurant, part Mini specialty grocery store. We started with the Pork Lumpia Shanghai-skinny egg rolls that were tasty and paired nicely with their dipping sauce. Got a mix of entrees to share and try. Pancit Palabok (one of their most popular dishes) -best hot and we enjoyed the shrimp gravy and egg and shrimp mixed in well with the noodles. Beef Caldereta-hearty tomato stew filled with thick beef cubes (pure comfort.) Sisig-another popular dish and our favorite. Complex flavors with some heat coming from the jalapeños. Lechon Kawali-Pork Belly was a bit dry. This one had a great description and reviews (maybe we got an off batch?) but didn't live up to the billing for us. Didn't have a chance to shop the grocery section as we were in a hurry-next time. They have a smaller Dining area also as well off-menu specials. Friendly/Upbeat people helped us with our order and our online order was ready as promised. If in Beltsville, check them out.

Yelp
Small portions, slow service, greatly overpriced. I guess they had to find someway to cover their renovations. If you're going to raise your prices, at least be fair with your portions.

Yelp
5/5 Sign me up as another fan for Manila Mart! I may live a while away from this place, but it's always worth the drive! Today's order: Halo-Halo: two things stood out immediately for me, 1) i loved how they blended the ice with milk, places that pour the milk at the top always made life difficult mixing and 2) the leche flan was bomb, so custardy it was unreal. I broke my lactose-free fast just for this! Sago Gulaman: It was a little sweet at first, but once a little bit of ice melted, this drink just took me places. I've always loved bubble tea, but my first love was always sago gulaman! The mix of jelly and pearls is so perfect! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Excellent food, service and products, however, always feel cheated ordering the Adobe Chicken. The flavor is excellent, but the portions are small for the price and chicken backs are unacceptable when paying for a dish! Manila please refrain from serving chicken backs!

Yelp
The food was amazing! They took time & walked me through the whole menu. They have a market inside as well that I bought a few things from & also enjoyed.

Yelp
So glad I got familiar with Manila mart. I love exploring new markets especially ones near me. This little market (that's so popular but kinda new to me) has a lot of random Asian items that I look for from time to time. They have mostly packaged goods but they have a lot of variety, mainly Filipino items. I search for egg roll wrappers often but never find them at other stores- they have it here! I had a random craving for balut, and bam! Snacks? Plenty of shrimp chips for everyone! Quick lunch from the hot bar? They have over ten items for you to choose from. The dishes were all ready at 10am which is a huge plus! tend to eat lunch early because of kid stuff. Bubble tea and dessert drinks? Yes, yes! It's a great go to, pit stop, quick trip, quick meal type place. Now I understand why it's been so popular in the Filipino community all these years. And, it's clean! A huge plus during times like this.

Yelp
I want to start by saying the food here is amazing. I've only been here twice but I crave it frequently. The reason for my 2 star review is the consistent disrespect that I get when I come here. The first time I ever came here I was asking questions about what I can choose to go into the combo and the person rolled their eyes and said "literally anything just pick". I had never been here before and didn't understand and didn't think that warranted that response. The second time I came in they were letting other customers ring up before me even though I was there first. I didn't want to cause a scene however this was very off putting. I ended up not ordering everything I wanted because I just wanted to get out as soon as possible. I really value the customer experience but those two times was enough for me to never come back. I gave two stars because the food was much better than their interactions with me.

Yelp
This is my only go to place for Filipino food. They are closed on Mondays and open the rest of the week. The staff is friendly and very courteous The even respectfully call me "tita" which is nice. The place is clean. The bathrooms are clean. The grocery selection is ok. The baked goods ok too. The food- the taste? Authentic. The price sadly still overpriced for the amount they give especially for the bbq at $4 a stick. Given the other reviews, I don't know why the portions issue has not been addressed. Will still be coming back, though, because they're the only one nearby.

Yelp
Best Filipino grocery store/restaurant in the area! THE GROCERY: ++ Pure calamansi (no added sugar) juice ++ Many types of longganisa ++ Many types/brands of halo halo ingredients + Good variety and quality control re: baked goods freshness (e.g. not only puto but cassava slices!) + Dried taro leaves + Randomly some special cooking items, like a puto bong bong steamer?!!! +~ Reasonable prices, some on the higher side but not unsurprising given the inflationary market and the general cost of living in the area THE FOOOOOD: First of all, we've gone here a few times over the years and I love that they're constantly evolving (for the better!). We recently did a huge tasting of their weekend offerings and here were my thoughts! ++ Okay some purists may hate it but they recently started doing this thing with their halo halo where they blend the ice and the evaporated milk together and as someone with sensitive teeth (i.e. can't crunch shaved ice chunks) I LOVE IT. They were also so nice to accommodate my request to get beans on the side. ++ Whoa whoa whoa, watch out Kuya Ja's! You know how lechon is often well-cooked but awfully (i.e. NOT) seasoned and you absolutely *need* sauce to make it taste like anything? Well, I believe Manila Mart has recently stepped up their lechon game and it's SALTY and DELICIOUS now. Again, traditionalists might balk at it but I LOVE it. + Garlic rice is undeniably DELICIOUS. Why get just plain white guys. I could eat this as a main dish, all alone! + Sisig. Spicy, sour. Great. + Caldereta. Nice and saucy, tender. Goes a long way with rice mixed in. + Chicken adobo. Not my favorite dish in general but they did a good job. + Pinakbet. Fresh, adequately shrimpy. + Laing. I believe this weekend was straight-up vegetarian? No fish flakes, no rendered pork fat. So solid but a tad short if you like meat in your laing, but pretty perfectly delicious if you're not a meat-eater. + I am always skeptical about fried items, but their turon was pretty good with properly tangy plantain, and even still a bit crispy! ~ The red sauce on the grilled chicken skewers is off-putting but when you put it in your mouth it doesn't matter -- still delish! ~ Their dinuguan is on the soupier side, with less tender chunks of meat. I tend to like mine thicker and creamier with fall-apart meat. But flavor is solid. ~ Bistek is generally not my favorite, so hard to judge this one: it was nicely seasoned with an acidic kick but the meat itself seemed a bit dry. ~ Compared to other turo turo places like Kababayan in Woodbridge, it's more expensive and their workflow is slightly confusing (i.e. order at the register, and then they'll bring the register to the turo turo case) but nothing that stops me from coming!

Yelp
Visited this place a few times for hot food and some grocery items. I alway get the pancit bihon for my husband. He loves this dish, but his main complaint is with the minimal amt of chicken served with it. I bought a 1lb container and it didn't even have one chicken breast-worth of meat. I enjoy the dinuguan, very generous serving and I can divide it to make three lunch portions for myself. Their lumpia is always crispy and delicious. I need to think about this as my tailgate contribution when going to MD games. Who wouldn't love crunchy lumpia?! Tried the sriracha eggplant tofu today plus the grilled liempo. Drool! My eyes were bigger than my stomach- I couldn't finish it all because I wanted to make sure I had the halo halo that I also got. The halo halo was tasty but difficult to eat in a cup with a plastic spoon. I might ask for a plastic or foil container next time that I can dump it into, so I can properly mix all the toppings with the milk and shaved ice. For groceries, we've picked up spicy vinegar, dried squid snacks, ube ice cream, pandesal. Things I'm sure I can find at Filipino stores closer to my place. But to be honest, it's the hot food that keeps me coming back here. And the super friendly staff. Maraming salamat!

Yelp
I was finally able to try this place after trying to go before on a Monday and they were closed. Make a note of that before you visit. Social distancing was practiced. Everyone had on masks and gloves. I wasn't sure what I wanted because this was my first time here. The food was super flavorful and once the lady realized I had never been here, she was so helpful. I enjoyed my meal. I'll be back.

Yelp
Manila Market is nearly a 30 minute drive from my home, but the food is so good and well prepared that I am happy to make the drive. However, my consistent complaint with this restaurant is the lack of meat in the pancit. My order today had ONE small piece of chicken in it. As I dont believe it was cooked with one small piece of chicken, what I received was basic laziness and.or indifference by the person who packed the food for carryout, If I go back, I will have to check the containers before departing while in the store which is a sad step to take to ensure I receive what I have paid for.

Yelp
Great food and great service! Cannot walk away without a halo halo in hand! Overall great, love coming here!

Yelp
Since the last time I was here in May 2019, Manila Mart has really stepped up their game with a full remodel (they even have a bar)! Unfortunately, the whole joint was not in full effect (bar closed) due to COVID-19, but I was still able to dine-in for some freshly made Filipino food and do some grocery shopping right after! From the hot food on my last visit I had: 1) Pork BBQ skewer 2) Lechon Kawali 3) Laing 4) Garlic Rice 5) Sago Gulaman Everything was amazing and flavorful! I recommend all the above. From the grocery store I bought: 1) Magnolia Buko Pandan Ice Cream 2) Magnolia Halo Halo Milkbar 2) Oishi Pillows Ube Filled Crackers Customer service was good, the store was real clean, and whether you're Filipino or not, this place makes you feel right at home! Because of the localness, the really tasty food, and the ability to grocery shop, I think this might be the best Filipino joint in all of DMV!

Yelp
Clean and friendly staff. But a bit on the pricey side. Small portions. Slow service.

Yelp
Tried lechon for the first time here! The skin was crispy, meat tender, juicy, and flavorful. Also liked the pancit. It's kind of far for me to drive here but really enjoyed the food.

Yelp
Nice Philipino grocery story that serves great meals prepared on site as well. There's lots of table and chairs to eat out that are clean and ample parking.

Yelp
Really amazing and unique food. It was my first time here and the employees were in the process of closing, but they were still very patient in guiding me and making recommendations. The food is incredible and a steal for the price. Definitely coming back asap.

Yelp
DELICIOUSSS food and lots of good groceries too! I got garlic rice, lechon kawali, and the sriracha eggplant tofu -- that mightve been the best! Was ready in about five minutes, all very delicious. My mom told me after i smelled quite strongly of garlic, no better compliment to the place IMO. Definitely worth the visit.

Yelp
I like it when Filipino marts/restaurants continually improve what they got going on in their businesses and Manila Mart does that! I came here yeeears ago and thought "oh just another ol' Filipino turo-turo and grocery store, nothing special" but now it's more modern and very appealing to also non-Filipinos which is great! And then they also have Revel on their POS system so you get to build up points like a loyalty or rewards system. For example my hubby got halo halo dessert on his birthday. Also, I think it's cute that they (or some of them) call you as a customer by "kuya" or "ate" meaning older brother or older sister, respectively.
