I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I think people would be mislead by the 4.4 rating that this restaurant has (at the time of this review).
Some parts of the meal were good. The restaurant wasn't overly loud (partially due to the fact that it was a Tuesday and not very busy). The guacamole was good, but the chips were a little stale. I ordered a paloma and didn't feel like it had much of its characteristic grapefruit flavor.
The real letdown was the fajitas. They came in dishes resembling molcajetes, not on platters like I'm more used to, and the veggies didn't have the char that I'm also used to. Additionally, my shrimp fajitas (pictured) had shrimp heads included and only had the meat of 4-5 shrimp. We requested, and were given, sour cream, but it tasted a bit cheesy, like it was beginning to go bad.
The service was also oddly absent. There were fewer than 10 people in the restaurant the entire time we were there, but we went without service for 30+ minutes at some points. All in all, not some place I would choose to return, and I think you'd be better off at most other Mexican restaurants in the neighborhood.
