Excellent steak tacos(cooked medium)! I’ve never been asked before how I’d like my steak tacos cooked, and boy oh boy, I got it medium, and I went back to Manjares almost a dozen times already. My mom and sister loved the shrimp tacos. The guacamole and chips were both made fresh. I usually don’t drink often, but their margaritas were delicious, and our table order several rounds. It’s not just an average taco place, and they plenty of outdoor seating too.

Such a lovely restaurant and delicious Mexican food! I’m so happy there’s another place in Park Slope for me to get Mexican. We went for brunch and they didn’t have tacos on the menu and the chef was nice enough to make me “off the menu” tacos! I was blown away by how yummy the were. The chips and guac are amazing—chips arrive to your table still warm. They have a ton of different margarita flavors but my boyfriend and I wanted blood orange but it wasn’t on the menu. Again, they went above and BEYOND to make us blood orange margaritas. The bartender knows what he’s doing, he can make a drink. He was an amazing waiter too. This restaurant is a new favorite. Thank you for being so accommodating :)

That Verde tho ... Stopped by for a quick lunch, basically what everyone else has already said. Explosion of flavor, salsa verde is on point (as it should be) . Service is prompt and welcoming. Price point is average. Neighborhood adds additional charm. Outdoor seating is a must - let's go team Al fresco! Definitely have to come back to sample the rest of the menu!

Brunch is great, bottomless for $30 - the coconut margarita was surprisingly very tasty. Looking forward to trying out the dinner menu. Edit: I visited for dinner and it was just as lovely! A heads up for the squeamish, the shrimp tacos come with the faces on :)

The best Authentic Mexican Food ! Let me start with the service , it was upscale ! Very attentive and professional staff with smile on their faces. They make you feel welcome . The food is top notch.. We ordered guacamole and chips , quesadillas, and fish tacos .. All our party agrees this was the best Mexican food we had ever had .. ( and we tried a lot of Mexican places here in NY as well as in Mexico ) I am IN LOVE with fish tacos ..not many places know how to make it Authentic real Mexican way ..Believe me this place knows . Atmosphere are nice and cozy , light music welcoming people and great food . It was a pleasant experience, I felt like I was on my vacation somewhere in luxurious resort on the Mexican beach. Great place , and by the way. they make the own coconut flan form scratch .. - delicious!

I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I think people would be mislead by the 4.4 rating that this restaurant has (at the time of this review). Some parts of the meal were good. The restaurant wasn't overly loud (partially due to the fact that it was a Tuesday and not very busy). The guacamole was good, but the chips were a little stale. I ordered a paloma and didn't feel like it had much of its characteristic grapefruit flavor. The real letdown was the fajitas. They came in dishes resembling molcajetes, not on platters like I'm more used to, and the veggies didn't have the char that I'm also used to. Additionally, my shrimp fajitas (pictured) had shrimp heads included and only had the meat of 4-5 shrimp. We requested, and were given, sour cream, but it tasted a bit cheesy, like it was beginning to go bad. The service was also oddly absent. There were fewer than 10 people in the restaurant the entire time we were there, but we went without service for 30+ minutes at some points. All in all, not some place I would choose to return, and I think you'd be better off at most other Mexican restaurants in the neighborhood.

Amazing Mexican food where Cafe Steinhoff used to be! Really reasonably priced and amazing service. Even as takeout the food was so well plated and SO DELICIOUS AND FRESH! Highly recommend the fish tacos and enchiladas with green sauce. In an area saturated with good Mexican food, the price and service cannot be beat for the flavor. As an opening special if you call into the restaurant to order they’ll throw in a small item like an app or a desert! We got a flan and it is TO DIE FOR.

Great food and service! The steak in my tacos was perfect. Followed by the best flan I’ve ever had. Definitely coming back soon. Thank you, Manjares De Mexico!
