Where to Get Korean Barbecue for Takeout in San Diego | Eater San Diego

"Manna’s new to-go menu focuses on their BBQ experience but packed into a hefty bowl. Priced at $8.99, the bowl includes your choice of protein (beef or chicken bulgogi, beef or pork belly, or brisket chadol), rice and a side." - darlene-horn

Best food selection I've seen at an all you can eat Korean BBQ place. Abs the server was right in top of us ensuring we had enough to cook. All in all an amazing value. Definitely needed the food induced nap I took after.

Our friends told us that Manna BBQ was the best Korean BBQ in San Diego and it didn’t disappoint. The regular menu and premium menu are close in price and I recommend the premium menu with the ability to order the big ribeye steaks. All the food was excellent with great meat selection and excellent sides. The service was really exemplary. They use a combination of an electronic tablet and servers. They were extremely attentive bringing your food, drinks and whatever else you needed. They would have what you ordered brought to table extremely fast. In addition, they offer to change out your grills right when you need it. The service makes the experience well worth the price. We had a fantastic time and it’s a fun way to have an interactive meal with your friends, family or significant other.

First time visited in the past three years, after they remodeled. Had an awesome lunch experience for one person. It’s been hard to find kbbq places that allow single person for AYCE menu. The sides were awesome and tastier than most places. Prices are great! The staff is really attentive and nice. Keep in mind, the drinks are bottled, so no refills.

Went with friends to celebrate a retirement. We did the all-you-can-eat. All of us enjoyed trying out food we hadn't had before , as well as familiar favorites. Everything was really good. Spicy dishes had a bit of a kick but not so much that any of us couldn't eat and enjoy it. Service was very good. We went on a weeknight so the wait wasn't too long even though it was busy. Be aware that the parking is paid through an app. Signs in the lot have the website and a QR code.

Manna BBQ is hands-down one of the best Korean BBQ restaurants I’ve ever visited! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a welcoming atmosphere, exceptional cleanliness, and a friendly team that ensures you feel right at home. The star of the show is undoubtedly the food. The quality of the meats is outstanding—whether it’s the buttery slices of beef brisket, the juicy pork belly, or the perfectly marinated Korean style BBQ, each bite is bursting with flavor. For those who enjoy customization, the variety of dipping sauces and seasonings elevate the dining experience to a new level. The complimentary side dishes (banchan) are fresh, diverse, and endlessly refilled. From the crisp and tangy kimchi to the refreshing cucumber salad and savory steamed egg, every dish complements the grilled meats beautifully. The grilling stations are modern and efficient, and the staff is always attentive, ensuring the grills are clean and your dining experience is smooth. Unlike some BBQ spots, Manna BBQ does an excellent job of maintaining a smoke-free environment, so you leave satisfied but not smelling like a BBQ! What truly sets Manna BBQ apart is its ability to combine authentic Korean flavors with excellent service and a vibrant dining atmosphere. Whether you’re a Korean BBQ connoisseur or trying it for the first time, this restaurant delivers an unforgettable experience. Manna BBQ is perfect for family gatherings, date nights, or even casual dinners with friends. If you’re looking for an authentic Korean BBQ spot that serves high-quality food at a great value, Manna BBQ is a must-visit!

Service and food was great! The meat they serve is very well seasoned. Their sides are also good and the portions are great. We had a great time during dinner. Just keep in mind that you will probably have to wait to get seated.

Google
First time dining at Manna and had a good experience. It’s not fancy by any means but you leave stuffed full of food if you do it right. We met at 5pm on a weeknight for dinner so we were seated immediately but there was definitely a wait by the time we finished. TIP: Go early to avoid the wait. Plenty of parking but the spaces are somewhat tight. The service was a bit haphazard. We had to remind the wait staff on a few occasions about the sides, additional drinks and sauces. The favorite dish of our night was the beef bulgogi. There was one meat we just couldn’t eat because it was all fat even after having cooked it and didn’t have a good marinade so we felt a little wasteful about that. Also, please note that shrimp comes unpeeled so if you’re lazy like me you won’t enjoy that. It’s definitely worth it to go for the premium all u can eat for the price if you like steak. Overall, tasty food at a reasonable price and average service.

It’s been years since I’ve been to Manna since there were many other KBBQ spots that have opened up which I thought were better than Manna. However, I went back to Manna for the first time after years and wow I was so impressed with how much they improved and dare I say, it might become my favorite again! Parking: Depending when you go, expect it to be a nightmare since the small parking is shared with many other businesses. There’s some street parking though. We didn’t have problems finding a spot at the time we went. Wait: Our party of 2 went at 1pm on a Thursday and there wasn’t a wait. Though, they still had us put our name down on the tablet up front. Service: I really appreciated that our table had the ringer to call the servers so we didn’t have to spend time having to wave anybody down. I noticed in other tables that they had tablets where you can order from it, which was cool to see. The employees were on point: we never had to wait for grill to be changed (the lady was so fast and efficient), once you rang the bell, within 10 seconds someone was there. Everything was delivered very fast. Price: A1 with the premium meets costs $35.99 and A2 costs only $29.99. We ordered the A2 which is a very reasonable price compared to other KBBQ spots. Food: In my opinion, the quality of the meats were decent. Loooved the Teriyaki Beef Belly and their regular Beef Belly. Loved that the corn cheese was already made versus having to heat it over the grill. My husband loved that they give a generous amount of radish paper and rice paper. Appreciated that you could order Gochujang on the side. Overall: I was very impressed with the new Manna. Exceptional service, great quality meats. Will definitely come back.

Yelp
So delicious. Also something about being given a jug of water i can pour myself is so slay. Any business that does this deserves the world.

Yelp
Reliable! Delicious! Long line/ wait always though. Very delicious and lots of variety.

Yelp
Visited here recently. T Visited here recently. We placed our name on the waitlist and stated we would wait over an hour. But we got seated within 30 mins! There's 2 AYCE menu options which are A1 $35.99 or A2 $29.99. We chose the cheaper menu. Our server was splendid. An older lady who was very quick and very polite. We knew she was busy but she was quick with her feet and never left us unattended for a long time. The quality of the meat was okay. We've had Kbbq in OC county that's a bit cheaper and better quality. But I usually only get beef belly and short ribs. If I was in SD, craving kbbq and was in the area, maybe I'll come back. Overall the staff were amazing!

Yelp
One of the best AYCE kbbq places I've had. We went with the premium set and the meats were quality. They take reservations for large groups but for small we groups you have to walk-in. For our group of 5, the app said our wait was over an hour at prime dinner time on Sunday but it really only took 30 minutes. My favorite meats were the ribeye, pork jowl, and short rib. The service was really great. They knew when to come back to take more orders, switch the grill and refill dishes. I did wish they had more of the vents over the tables. They only had vents for some of the tables in the back of the restaurant.

Yelp
The best all you can eat BBQ I've ever had! Awesome meat cuts in the premium section, absolutely delicious. Rib eye was incredible. Also loved the pork jowl. Service super fast and accommodating. Ready to take your order for more meat right at the perfect time. Sides and salads always coming. Very chill vibe, good upbeat music to keep you eating fast and your jaws working hard. I wish I could come back every week!

Yelp
Really solid AYCE KBBQ. Ask for the sesame oil so you can pour it over the salt you get. Dip any of the unmarinated meats in this. You can also ask for samjang (soybean paste) and raw garlic. Cook the raw garlic. Use the samjang as a dipping sauce for the lettuce wraps. Ambiance is loud. Music boomin!

Yelp
I owe my happiness to Manna! I've been going here probably every two months or so as my FAVORITE all you can eat Korean barbecue. Manna knows what's up with the meats and what customers want in this economy, excellent food and service at a reasonable price. Be sure to come hungry!! Some of my favorites: spicy beef belly, galbi galbi galbi, manna steak, steamed egg, corn cheese, ngl the potstickers are sometimes fire too. One thing I love about manna is their service as well. If you need a grill change or more meat, they aren't stingy and they come to you quickly. I only leave fat with a smile on my face. Manna BBQ is the OG go to Best Korean BBQ in all of San Diego in my opinion. I've been to almost all of them I think, and this one tops the rest. I will say I've had better in Korea town LA and one spot in the Bay area, but man this is my local favorite.

Yelp
My friends and I had a good experience at Manna. There was about an hour wait since we went on thanksgiving but despite the restaurant being packed, the service was good. The marinaded meats we got were also delicious - the spicy chicken and the chicken bulgogi. The beef was also fresh and great quality. The sides were delicious especially the corn cheese, potato salad, pickled radish, jumulook, etc. The ambiance was also nice and there's cute decor inside. Food: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5

Yelp
I really enjoyed eating at this Kbbq place during my stay in San Diego. The food was great and the service was quick. There's a call button on the table and servers immediately arrive to take our order when we are ready for more meat. I really enjoyed the spicy beef belly and garlic pork belly. I recommend this location! The only con is that there is difficulty with parking and the spaces are really tight. Other than that it was a 10/10 experience.

Yelp
Can't say anything but good things about this location! From the moment you walked in up to the end. The waiting time was so quick as we came in early the day as they opened. The servers, bussers/food runners, and host person were so pleasant as we walked in. The Unnie is so sweet too! Thank you so much for the experience. The food - as always! Delicious and such a delight to experience this location. They had the Steam Egg that I didn't see at the other location but it's also as good as Bonita's location btw. It's a big location and the walkway of the venue is the best part that I loved. They have a big black walkway for safety. The best aside of course their service is just awesome! Thanks, guys for the experience! S/O to Unnie Stephanie! Kamsahamida Unnie!

Yelp
First time we have tried this place. We came around 4:00pm and there was a long wait time (over an hour) we decided to wait. The restaurant doesn't look big from the outside and there is other business around which makes the parking lots extremely small for the number of customers around. We were able to find parking, but on a very tight and weird parking spot. Let's just say we had a hard time leaving when we were done. There were a lot of people waiting like us, some with small and others with larger parties. They had chairs outside for people to sit on while they waited. I think 45 minutes passed by when we were called to see the host. We were seated right away, there were sides and the sauces already on the table served. Our waitress came right after and took our drink orders and since we already knew what we wanted to start with we ordered the first round of meats. It didn't take too long for the orders to get to the table. We immediately started to cook and when we saw our waitress we ordered more. The portions are fair, and the quality of the meat is very good. The meat was fresh and the ones that were supposed to be marinated, the flavor was good. The sides were tasty, and you could order as much as you wanted with the intention of eating it all. The place itself is nice and hip. There aren't as many tables as possible I thought there were going to be. They make it work trying to accommodate everyone. We went during Labor Day, and it was very busy, our waitress did her best trying to get our orders in as much as possible. Overall, it was a great experience, and we will be back next time we are in town.

Yelp
I didn't take that many pictures. I was busy enjoying the food. I was sitting there eating non stop. I couldn't stop ordering food. I am officially Korean BBQ lover! I never really cared for Korean BBQ because I didn't get the appeal cooking your own food. I got the satisfaction of eating freshly cooked meat. The sides were delicious. All you can eat for around $30 I'd say is great deal. I can't wait to come back. I'm counting down the days where I can treat myself to some more Korean BBQ! 10/10 loved this experience

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious, the ambiance and music created a fantastic atmosphere. While the service was a bit slow due to high demand, the overall experience was great. Keep in mind, the wait can be longer, possibly an hour or so.

Yelp
I don't think it exists. I hunted around and couldn't find it. If you find it, maybe it's awesome.

Yelp
My new favorite Korean BBQ spot! The best bang for your buck! The meats that they have here are good quality, very big cuts of meat. I've been to a couple of other AYCE KBBQ spots here in Kearny/Convoy area and this one has the best cut of meats! The sides are awesome as well, they pretty much have everything that other places that I've been to have. Customer service in this place is second to none, and as always customer service for me is king! Treat the customers great and customers will leave happy and get tipped well (hopefully everyone does that). This place is very clean, they bring our orders fast, we were so stuffed . If there's 1 thing I can nitpick here, i wish that we can get the fire on the stove higher. But that wasn't a big deal, maybe I'm just impatient lol. Will be back very soon! Thank you guys for an awesome experience today!

Yelp
I tried the Convoy location of Manna BBQ for the first time. It's a much smaller location than the Mira Mesa branch. A couple of things I noticed: The booths are not very comfortable because there's very little leg room. Service is kind of all over the place, on the slow side, and it's difficult to flag them down. Orders that I liked: * Chadol/brisket * Teriyaki beef belly * King Pork Belly * Lettuce Wrap/Rice paper * Steamed egg Orders that were just so-so: * Garlic Pork Belly * Bulgogi (a bit too sweet, might go for the Kalbi instead next time) * Corn cheese (didn't like that there were peas in there) Meats I didn't like: * Marinated short rib (not sweet at all and tough) Overall though I had a nice experience. I think I might prefer the Mira Mesa location, enough to make the extra drive.

Yelp
Manna Heaven BBQ is my favorite Korean BBQ spot in San Diego, so far. Although I've tried a few other KBBQ places in the area, none have quite matched up to the deliciousness of Manna Heaven. The food tasted great, and the service was fast and attentive. I also appreciated how frequently they changed our grill during the meal, which made for a much more enjoyable dining experience. Of course, as with any popular restaurant, there may be a bit of a wait during peak times, but I can say with confidence that it's well worth it. Overall, if you're a fan of Korean BBQ and haven't yet tried Manna Heaven, I highly recommend giving it a visit. I'll admit I've had better Korean BBQ in other cities, for San Diego, this spot has earned a solid five stars in my book.
google avatar

Vivian T.

Yelp
Manna is probably the most busiest KBBQ on Convoy but I've always had the best service here. The quality of the meats and sides are great! My only issue is the cuts of meat they use are thick. I'm used to thin slices and doing lots of rounds at other kbbq places but the meats here are much thicker. I wanted to eat as much bbq as possible so we got limited sides. My favorite thing had to be the green onion salad and steamed egg! Sooo bomb. The restaurant gets extremely busy during dinner but the best time to come is around opening or just before dinner time. I always leave super full but satisfied!
google avatar

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Finally got to try Manna and I can see why people love it so much. Great price for a premium menu we spent $34 a person. We got to the restaurant around 4:15 and the waitlist said about an hour wait. Got in about 30 minutes later which was nice. Little loud inside but from other patrons and not music blasting like some other places. The banchan was not my favorite in San Diego. Kimchi was good and the salad but that's about it for what I liked. I honestly won't get the premium menu again either. I wasn't blown away with the extras you get from the A2 menu. The ribeye was ok but the only reason why I chose premium. The marinades were a little light for me on the bulgogi or anything with teriyaki on it but now I know to ask for more sauce. It was a solid ayce and great service but I'll probably stick with TGG.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is overrated. They only care about money and getting as many customers they can in a day. If you're there for 45 mins a person will come and start dumping all your meat on the grill and cook it for you. I guess this is supposed to seem nice? I feel bad for people coming here for their first kbbq experience and thinking how they run this place is how it's supposed to be. They really just want you to hurry up and get out so they can charge someone else for "all you can eat" Overall, very rushed and stressful and the food is not good enough to deal with their attitude and go back. I've been twice and it was the same both times. Never again.
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
I love the variety of meats you can get here. The service depends on the time, day, and person. And the ambiance is typical kbbq spot loud and greasy. Overall, it carries, and I respect it.
google avatar

Heidi M.

Yelp
Yum!! We loved our lunch at Manna Heaven BBQ. All the staff was friendly and really hustled to get people served and turn tables. Get in line on Yelp to reserve your sport. Their meats tasted high quality. The bonchon was great too! Fresh, delicious crunchy kimchee and cucumbers. Their salad was tasty too! Zero complaints! I can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Han L.

Yelp
Sub 30 ayce korean bbq. The quality isn't amazing or anything like that, but it gets the job done.
google avatar

Kevin W.

Yelp
Two levels of BBQ to choose from we opted for the cheaper option as we typically only have 3-4 specific types of meat. The quality is fantastic, the service is great, even when it is busy. The grill changes are frequent (to reduce smoke and burning). Accompaniments are small (see pic) and the staff and very nice. Establishment is clean and spacious with both tables and booths. Large outside waiting area facing convoy. We will be back!

Yelp
I came back a second time after book marking this place the first time. It's not as remarkable but I also went about a year apart. Overall, good and service was amazing the first visit but so-so the second time around so maybe it's a hit or miss. Either way, the place is always packed and has a wait like any other kbbq spot.
google avatar

melissa m.

Yelp
Make sure your checking your bill. They just tried to scam my husband and 3 kids. How is 3 kids $134.91. Mind you they're elementary school kids. Wtf. Good thing my husband checked. I stopped going here because the meat quality isn't great and the steamed egg and green onion salad is less than mediocre. My kids and husband went today but after this we won't be returning.
google avatar

Andy L.

Yelp
Best kbbq in SD for many years and running and for good reason. There's usually a line out the door but trust me when I say it's worth it. First and foremost the meat quality is amazing. So many choices but my favorite was the short rib and beef belly. The sides and ban Chan are great as well with plenty of extras to order from. Service is decent considering they are always busy for dinner. I think this is a quality spot for kbbq in San Diego and definitely worth it if you come for lunch when it isn't super packed or don't mind waiting for a little bit.

Yelp
I recently went to Manna BBQ with some friends who were more well-versed with Korean BBQ than I was and it was helpful! This place was packed! You can tell it is extremely popular by how large the parties were in the restaurant too. They had a lot of options available on the menu for you to keep track of and even have a premium side of the menu for even more options! The Premium menu is about $6 more per person, and you do have to all order from one menu. The table also came with complementary appetizers like Kimchi, Mung Bean Noodles, Salad, Sauces and Seasonings, and other yummy items! Overall, I was a bit overwhelmed by how many options and the fast pace of ordering food, but that could be from the people I went with rather than the restaurant itself. The staff were attentive and quick to check on us and switch out the grills when necessary. The only other thing I would like to acknowledge, and although it did not take away from the overall experience, my friend had ordered a second helping of the spicy ramen on the menu and had to ask twice for it which never made its way to our table. With how fast-paced this place is and the delivery of our other ordered items it is hard to believe that they missed a ramen.
google avatar

Caroline Z.

Yelp
Ugh this was so amazing. Manna is one of the most popular kbbq spots in San Diego for a reason. They have all the meats, all the banchan, all the everything you can think of. Servers are super efficient. They can get busy even on random weekday nights, so be prepared to wait to be seated!
google avatar

Bernadette T.

Yelp
This review is for a to-go order. I HIGHLY recommend getting a bento box! it is a pound of meat cooked with onions and veggies, with kimchi, daikon, and rice. It is a very generous portion and worth the price. I chose the teriyaki brisket bc brisket is my favorite cut of kbbq meat, it had very good flavor! Th only downside is that service for to-go orders is slow. I've ordered twice and had issues with both orders. One order I picked up was not ready on time and they had misplaced the order. Another I ordered through Doordash and arrived much later than the expected time. I understand they probably prioritize dine-in guests but I would just take note of the wait time if you are ordering to-go.

Yelp
This is another place on Convoy that is a Must go to. You must show up early given the crowd that know how amazong the food is and so cheaply priced. You have two options when selecting from the menu for unlimited meats. One that is $29.99 and the other a little above it. The price is not too drastic. The meats offered range from beef bulgolgi, to teriyaki chicken, marinated pork or baby octopus. They offer various sides too. Their cheesy corn is amazing, rice veggies, egg soup ect. Its a great place for family and friends to gather, eat enjoy drinks and reasonably priced. Just remember their is a waiting list you have to add yourself on and parking maybe a tad difficult if you show up on a Friday night. The place is just that good! Lastly, the staff is excellent. Very very attentive! A must go when on Convoy in San Diego

Yelp
We checked in and waited for our table to open. Found the yelp waitlist useful. We asked for help with the menu but very little was explained. I noticed it was a fast passed restaurant and felt a little rushed. I wanted to try this place for a very long time and after finally trying it out I was disappointed with the service we received. I asked for more rice and sides and they never came until the host noticed and came to ask if we were missing anything. I noticed they offered more of the sides to the couple next to us so I'm not sure what happened there. As far as the food everything tasted great and it was an experience to try but I'm not sure I'll be back soon. I'll definitely give it some time before coming back.

Yelp
I love manna. It's my preferred kbbq spot. I love all the sides and salads and additional options. I love their table set up and how efficient the service is. It's seriously always a good time. I went last night for the 100th time and it was just as great. Jason was our server and he seriously crushed it. He was always around to get us another side, napkin, water - whatever we needed. Not to mention the music they play in there is a serious vibe for girlies who do the little dance when you start eating. It's a real vibe and as always - I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Second visit to Manna while in San Diego. As a midwesterner and avid KBBQ enthusiast, the quality of the meat was top-notch. The service was spot on, with attentive staff who made sure everything was perfect. I also appreciated that it wasn't too smoky inside, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Yelp
The Convoy location is always a go-to for us. Although it can get crowded that waitlist can get packed. Especially during Fridays and the weekends. It's not so bad during the other days of the week. The food is great, ambiance is homey and feels authentic than other kbbq places. It's always busy but the employees are very attentive. For most times, at least for us, you don't have to ask for them to change the grill. They'll just do so as they past through the tables with the service wagon. The food is always on point at the Convoy location so we love coming to this location. We also tried the newly opened location at Plaza Bonita Mall. Though it's prettier, the service was slow. To be fair, it was Mother's Day at 7pm. There's a red call button close to the wall that is meant to get the server's attention but not once did any worker visit our table. It was easier to flag down an employee but even then, it still took a while. I probably wouldn't come to the Plaza Bonita Mall location if we're not in the mall. If in the National City area, I'd probably go for the Chula Vista location instead. It's a nice addition to the mall though.

Yelp
My extended family and I visited the Heaven Manna BBQ location in Mira Mesa after I had run one of San Diego's half marathons, but I guess I never wrote a review. Last Friday, my family, my wife's bestie, and I visited the Manna BBQ location in Kearny Mesa and we had a fun time stuffing our faces. We're all fans of Korean BBQ joints and my second experience at a Manna BBQ did not disappoint. From what I wrote above, it's evident that Manna BBQ is a Korean BBQ chain restaurant group located throughout San Diego. We visited the Kearny Mesa location, which is in the heart of Asian eateries specifically on Convoy Street and Balboa Avenue. It's located at the front of a strip mall that includes Hive Karaoke, Axe Thro Company, Nice 2 Meet U, and Taste of Hong Kong. The restaurant is next to Bank of Hope, a few steps from Boot World, and across the street from 7-11, Cross Street Chicken, and Wienerschnitzel. There's a good amount of parking, but it can fill up real quick. Manna is a very popular KBBQ spot, so I recommend that you arrive during early dinner hour. There's an iPad at the front of the restaurant to place your name on the waitlist. It's a spacious restaurant with televisions on the walls and pictures of the food you're about to consume. I thought the customer service from our waitress and the staff was spot on. For those who are not familiar with the dining experience of a KBBQ restaurant, you select what type of menu you want to eat from, then the staff will bring out some of the meat and side items from that menu, and then you will cook the raw meat or seafood that is brought out. We are experienced KBBQ patrons and compared to the other KBBQ restaurants we've eaten at, Manna BBQ's prices are reasonable and not as pricey. We decided on the less costly menu because for just under $30 per person, we got a good selection of meats, seafood, and side items. Every KBBQ restaurant brings out complimentary Korean sides such as kimchi, pickled vegetables, and noodles. Please take my advice and don't do what I did. I started eating these sides before my wife started cooking the meats, so I was making myself full before consuming the more expensive meats. Lay off the sides and pace yourself, which I did not do and paid for it later. On the A2 menu, the stars of our meal were the Bulgogi (Marinated Beef), Manna Steak, Jumooluk (Boneless Short Rib), L.A. YangNyum Galbi (Marinated Thin Beef Ribs), Chicken Bulgogi, Pork Dumpling, Gaeranjim (Steamed Egg), and Corn Cheese. Make sure to ask for Fried Rice and White Rice to go with your meal. All of the meats were tender, tasty, and belly busting. The corn cheese was divine and yummy. Last piece of advice, make sure you have someone in your party who can cook or BBQ because my wife made sure our food was cooked to perfection. The two Heaven Manna BBQ locations I visited were memorable for the delish food and for making me stuffed in a food coma way. Heed my advice of not eating too much of the complimentary sides and pacing yourself, so that you can eat more of the expensive meats, seafood, and sides.

Yelp
First time dining at Manna and had a good experience. It's not fancy by any means but you leave stuffed full of food if you do it right. There was one meat we just couldn't eat because it was all fat even after having cooked it and didn't have a good marinade so we felt a little wasteful about that. Also, please note that shrimp comes unpeeled so if you're lazy like me you won't enjoy that. It's definitely worth it to go for the premium all u can eat for the price if you like steak. Overall, tasty food at a reasonable price and average service.

Yelp
The corn was pretty good! The marinated short ribs need more flavor! The service was good, but one of the server's didn't really speak English! I think this restaurant meats my expectations!

Yelp
I love this spot! I've visited 3 years ago when I first moved to San Diego, and it didn't convince me. But- I stopped in by and tried it out again to really decide. Surprisingly, I was convinced otherwise. The food portions were great! The place was clean, efficient, and spacious. The staff was efficient and friendly. I must say though, the booth tables do provide more space than the round tables but to each their own. Each table also has a service button- if you need faster service (we didn't use because we didn't need to- but too to know they have that). Overall: food + portions: (9/10) Service: (9/10) Cleanliness + restaurant vibe: (8/10) (music could be better) Oh, and parking sucks down convoy regardless. So please park with caution and in appropriate spots.

Yelp
Really good selection of meat, I love that you can order up to 4 meats per round. Personal favorite of mine was the beef belly, but the brisket and thicker beef cuts were pretty good as well. I've never been a huge bulgogi fan, and theirs didn't convince me otherwise. For the price, I'd recommend sticking to the cheaper plan (I think it was A2). But if you want the full experience you can go with the A1 plan.

Yelp
This is actually the first Korean BBQ place I have tried in San Diego. I'm relatively new to the city so finding places that are good and worthwhile is very important to me. When we checked in the way it was about 30 minutes and honestly it flew by super fast. When we were seated the server was really nice and attentive. The mood inside was really nice, it's definitely somewhere I would bring family or friends. Now about the food. It was amazing, I tried so many different meats and each cut was delicious. I would recommend getting half portions if you want to try more and maybe are with a smaller group. I definitely got my moneys worth and it's a place that I will be returning too again. The beef was one of my favorite things, I also tried the pork which maybe I'm just not a huge fan of. I love that the steak came with butter and rosemary. 10/10!

Yelp
A Cut Above the Rest in Korean BBQ! On a family visit, we were taken to this Korean BBQ restaurant, and I can't emphasize enough how it completely transformed my view of Korean BBQ. Having been let down by many others, I didn't have high expectations, but this place was a game-changer. The first thing I noticed was the ambiance - cozy and comfortable, without the usual smokiness thanks to their excellent ventilation system. This thoughtful touch meant we could savor our meal and leave without smelling like we'd been cooking ourselves! Now, the food - it was outstanding. The beef steaks were not just good quality; they were superb. Each slice was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, a true testament to the art of Korean BBQ. This restaurant isn't just serving food; it's delivering an experience that's both delightful and memorable. For anyone seeking the true essence of Korean BBQ, look no further. This spot is genuinely exceptional.

Yelp
Value, service and food were top notch. Originally, we were aiming to try adjacent Korean BBQ, name starting with "O". However, they were closed and open at 4:30pm. Luckily, this was just few hundred feet away, at adjacent shopping center. We were quickly seated, with prepared table. We had the premium AYCE, no premium cuts of meat, but the quality of the meats were fresh. Many side dishes, spicy and non spicy. However, they did not have appetizer type items. But those are just fillers. You eat meat at AYCE. The servers were quick and helpful. The parking was abundant. Definitely worth visiting if in the area and a great place to return when craving meat.

Yelp
There was no wait for a party of 2 at 5 PM on a Wednesday. Thankfully they have a Yelp wait-list so you have an accurate idea of how long it'll take before you get seated. We chose their cheapest menu which is A2 at $27.99 per person for AYCE. Their menu was quite sizeable which I appreciated! The only thing we would not get again is the Manna Steak but everything else we ordered was delicious! The place is pretty loud so if that's not your cup of tea then maybe that's something to consider. Service was great and quick. The sides were delicious. Excited to come again!

Yelp
10/10 Our Server was super great! Got in faster than the place next door. Bugolgi is always my go to in choices of meat. Everything comes all at once.

Yelp
Such such a cool place to eat at. So first things first, you have to be there in person to sign up for the waitlist. No biggie! I called in advance however to ensure we wouldn't be waiting 45-60 minutes for a table. The location is pretty good for parking considering convoy is hard with parking in general but this is attached to a strip mall that has one of the few larger parking lots in the area. That's a plus. When you are called to your table you are greeted with your table set up and ready to go! All your Korean sides, dips and sauces are already at the table to include these super cute and large water jugs so you can pour your own water at your own convenience. The menu is pretty easy, just pick one. It's only a few dollars price difference so if your guests have a ferocious appetite it's well worth it no matter what, as it's all you can eat for 2 hours, and you can order up to 4 meats at a time and then any sides you wish. I'll be honest, you don't need more than 4 meats, it simply won't fit in the burner dish. Everything is good andAsk for everything, get the butter (it's in the sides) and smear it over your meats, use your salt and pepper to add some flavor while cooking. The chicken will super ruin the burner dish so cook it at the end. Try the wontons! Super yum as well as the fried rice from the sides. Also you can ask for lettuce wraps, and then you can make your own! There's ramen on the sides too... add the meat you cook! The possibilities are endless, get creative and do more than a simple k-bbq I've seen this place calm and packed and the customer service is the same! So it's cool to see they don't slack when they get busy.

Yelp
Parking is challenging for this area. Manna is open late and can accommodate any party size. The all you can eat menu is very extensive. Unfortunately, our server was not helpful, despite me letting him know this was my first korean bbq experience, he just stood there with an impatient look. If I had more direction, I'm confident my experience would have been better, but this one left much to be desired.
