Manna Food Center

We’ve had the pleasure of working with and volunteering at Manna, and the experience has been inspiring. Their team is dedicated, organized, and deeply committed to serving the community. Every interaction reflects their passion for fighting hunger and supporting those in need. It’s been an honor to collaborate with such a meaningful organization, and we highly recommend supporting Manna in any way you can.

i visited the Colesville Presbyterian Church/Manna Food center on 2/21/26. I was given expired food, including frozen chicken breast, which was discolored upon thawing, therefore not safe to eat and a jam that was 1.5 years beyond its “best by” date. The chicken was put into a tied, plastic bag so I didn’t get a chance to examine it before I left. Needless to say, I won’t be returning to this location. I understand that these centers are staffed by volunteers. However, there really isn’t an excuse for giving people expired food and this is potentially harmful to those already suffering from food insecurity. On a positive note, the staff is very polite and welcoming.

Horrible I missed there calls but with in five seconds I'd call right back and they had turned their phone off. If you can't stare at a phone for 8 hours just in case they call you will not get your food delivered . It is my daughter's sixteen birthday I was really in need and looking forward to the box but like any other organization that pretends to help it is not about helping it is about power. Really hurt and disappointed :( God forbid your human . If you miss the call for any reason even going potty you will not get your food . They give you an eight hour window . Have fun staring at your phone for eight hours.

I only go to deliver food. I don't know the other side of it. Seems well run

Today, a group of young guys at the Piney Branch Giant, asked for food donations as I walked in. Collected a bag of food for them but when I got outside they were gone. Would have appreciated if they could have informed me when they gave me the flyer that they would be leaving soon, ie like in 15 minutes. So I have a bag of food here, come and get it if you want.

Manna Mgmt.are hot and cold at times...the dry,lame sarcasm is prevalent and they get a kick out of trying to outsmart you

My company volunteered here and it was a real good feeling doing it. This center is really doing great job helping others in need. This how we all should love our lives helping each other day to day. Only if we could lead our lives this way world could be a better place to live. Great experience.

This place is awesome. They provide a variety of food to supplement a family's monthly grocery allowance to save you at least 50-60.00 a month. You can use almost all of the food and you get fresh vegetables, fruit, meat, bread and dairy. I highly recommend to anyone who is struggling to put food on the table.

Sorry manna food..l informed you about a situation that food was being restocked at a store that I donated to you guys and you blew me off...no more donations to you... after 20 years

I am very disappointed with this service. The whole concept in helping those who are hungry is beyond amazing. However, when food is expired, milk has a few days until expiration, eggs are cracked etc..then what is the point of feeding the hungry? I'm sure not even someone who is desperately hungry deserves to eat expired food. Please fix this issue.

Manna is the perfect name. A friendly and helpful staff, and a well organized warehouse provide excellent service to clients and donors . Dignity abounds. We are extremely fortunate to have this resource for our neighbors who are in need.

Great organization. They do a lot to help the community! Very well run. And it is a great way to pass it forward if you are looking to volunteer. They are so popular though that the wait list is pretty long. I highly recommend becoming a volunteer here and helping out.
