I have tried the "fish is the dish" menu but I was a bit disappointed.
The oysters were perfect, but the other appetizers were marinated and with sauces that were not quite matching with the ingredients. The raw salmon was a bit strange with teriyaki sauce. There were some Japanese elements in the dishes but at the same time, it was also not really Japanese but European. The mackerel was better that we could taste the original flavour. The lobster soup was nice. We later got served with mussels but the sauce/soup of the mussels seemed to be similar as the lobster soup. The cod and the monkfish were not seasoned. The shrimps were good but were a bit overcooked. In between we also got fries (French thin ones), bread and salad.
All in all, we were full but not with a satisfied stomach. The food was fair and it was a bit like all-you-can-eat quality. Perhaps it may also be better if we could sit in front of the chefs who are cooking. Less is more. Not too much seasoning is needed when the ingredients are good.
