MANNA Nijmegen

We came for the all you can eat seafood, we had a great experience ! Numerous meals and tapas with fish and seafood, with good wine and great service. I recommend, worth the price !

I have tried the "fish is the dish" menu but I was a bit disappointed. The oysters were perfect, but the other appetizers were marinated and with sauces that were not quite matching with the ingredients. The raw salmon was a bit strange with teriyaki sauce. There were some Japanese elements in the dishes but at the same time, it was also not really Japanese but European. The mackerel was better that we could taste the original flavour. The lobster soup was nice. We later got served with mussels but the sauce/soup of the mussels seemed to be similar as the lobster soup. The cod and the monkfish were not seasoned. The shrimps were good but were a bit overcooked. In between we also got fries (French thin ones), bread and salad. All in all, we were full but not with a satisfied stomach. The food was fair and it was a bit like all-you-can-eat quality. Perhaps it may also be better if we could sit in front of the chefs who are cooking. Less is more. Not too much seasoning is needed when the ingredients are good.

very well deserved 5 star review, for both the hotels (Manna and Blue) as well as the Manna restaurant. We could not have been hosted better yesterday with our group of around 30 people. We felt very welcome, all the staff was friendly, and the restaurant service had the best balance in making you feel at ease whilst be spot on in their service and communication. Great teamwork! Thank you so much for the best evening.

Small room, sink with open concept. Toilet bowl and shower separated. Individual that needs to do their business in the toilet and uses water to clean themselves rather than a tissue will have a hard time. Everything else was just dark, even the light doesnt really brighten up the room.Using google map, it lead me to another building rather than the hotel itself. And having to do our own check in online was a troublesome and uniquely unnecessary step. Which I found out that they can do it for you at the reception. Yup, just another troublesome hotel. This is just my opinion, but it was a nice stay with them.

Had dinner at the seafood bar. Food was very tasty and nice. However the staff really made the night by adjusting certain orders to our taste and giving us a few option to choose from. They were very kind and helpful

Although I have stayed in this hotel in the past, today I’m reviewing the restaurant alone. The food is exquisite and the service top quality. The staff is happy to accommodate your requests even when they’re not the list. Being vegan, I was offered an improvised vegan main course that was delicious and very taste. The venue is beautiful, the wine choice very large and great staff very friendly. Must go back for more yumminess.

Having come to MANNA a few times over the years, it never fails to exceed my expectations. We’ve usually agreed to the tasting menu and wine pairing and every time, the food is incredible, and the wine pairings are perfect. You’ll leave the restaurant full in every way. Inside, the restaurant is beautiful with lots of white and classy decor—I can’t wait to return!

This hotel is definitely worth a visit! Very kind personnel. Location is great and the rooms large, clean and equipped with all you need to spend a few days without missing your home. There are different options to have either lunch or dinner (yes, different restaurants that are part of the hotel), all serving very good food. Extremely friendly waiters/waitresses and breakfast was also above the average one you can find in Europe and superb compared to most hotels in the UK (for comparable price, of course). Price is very reasonable too, so I highly recommend this hotel to anyone spending some time at Nijmegen or around (is very close to train station too). Oh, just another point is that the music they play is great too!
