Went here for the first time with family after a college graduation ceremony so we were hungry! While the location is a bit obscure and the front of the restaurant doesn't immediately catch your attention, once you're inside it's actually a really nice vibe!
There is a nice sized bar area with a wide selection of wine and two dining areas that sometimes seem to be separated by curtains which is cool if you are with a large group.
Our waiter was very attentive, friendly, and knowledgable of the menu. He recommend a red wine since wine was half price that evening, and we all loved it! I am not a big wine person but I loved the wine he recommended, wish I got the name.
We started off with the calamari, prosciutto and mozzarella, and bruschetta with gorgonzola apps and those were excellent, all 10/10.
For entrees, I was between the Tortellini Rustica and the Vitello Saltimbocca but since the waiter recommended I'd pick the Vitello, I went with that. Unfortunately, I actually didn't enjoy that meal as much as I hoped, maybe my tastebuds aren't that fancy yet. I ended up trading plates with my bf who got the gnocchi, and that was better than my plate, 7/10.
Our waiter saw that we had traded plates and he was super nice, offering to get me something else if I wasn't enjoying my meal and that I wouldn't have to pay for it!! Superior service! I felt embarrassed of course because I didn't want to be that person and also I was content with eating the gnocchi and off of other family members plates.
Took off one star for not really enjoying my plate and the portions of food are monstrous! That may be a good thing sometimes but since we all got pasta, it was a little much and no one finished their plate.
Everyone else was happy with what they got, my bf's mom got the Tortellini Rustica and let me have some bites- wish I got that! That was sooo good, 10/10. Overall a very nice first time experience, we will be back for more!
