i have had this place on my list to try for a couple of years now. We finally went the Friday night. My wife has been hearing about the She Crab soup so she was excited to try, she has trying alot if resturant ti see who has the best. Me I was excited about the Shrimp Fra Diavolo (George likes his food spicy) hahahaha. They weren't too busy but had a good crowd, but we were seated immediately. This is a small Place but has plenty of room also has a good size bar. I started with the fried Oyster App. I was kinda reluctant at first because i'm just used to Fried Oysters and some cocktail sauce/hotsauce and im a happy camper, but these Fried Oyster came a bit different. But the waitress convinced me. GREAT CHOICE! The Oysters fried to perfection Come Layin atop a parmesan cream sauce with sundried tomatoes, capers, and crisp bacon bits. I know I came for the Shrimp Fra Diavolo Jumbo Shrimp Yes!! and She crab soup which were both great, but those Oysters and that sauce are a game changer i took my left over sauce home. My wife enjoyed her soup its defintely in her top 2 of all she has tried if she had one request it would be MORE CRAB! but who doesn't want more Crab hahaha. The customer service was Great very attentive and pleasant. If i had one complaint it would be WHY DIDN'T WE COME SOONER HAHAHAHA. We will defintely be returning soon

This place was recommended by a colleague and was nothing short of spectacular from start to finish. We were promptly seated upon arrival for our reserved time slot. The She Crab Soup was the best that I've ever and and I now see why they call it award winning. The Crab-tini was a favorite of my wife while I loved the fried oysters. Chicken Parmesan and Lasagna rounded out the meal for us. This place is a must try. We'll definitely be back. Shout out to over server Nick who was on point all night.

Absolutely delicious food and good quality cocktails. We had fantastic service from the bartender James. The food is very well crafted and authentic. The tortellini mannino was very flavorful and filling, the crab soup was some of the best I’ve ever tasted. I also loved the cozy and intimate setting. Make sure to get a reservation so that you can be seated immediately.

Our waiter, he was tall and slender, he told us his name, but by the end of our time together we were calling him any name. lol. He was so fun! He told us about the 25 people at a table, which helped us to be aware should we have a need. In spite of his load, he was smiling, joking, and we had a great time. We enjoyed the food and our server.

Amazing place to eat. Make reservations for dinner time, it usually take a little long to get seated if you don't have one but this place was great and delicious.

Superb!! Nice ambience, the bartender, He is amazing. He actually remembered my name when I returned! The food.....what can I say ..who is the chef because I think I licked my plate and almost sucked my fingers off my hand!!! This is our little best kept secret. I passed this place for years and never knew.

Very delicious food and service is always great. They have delicious bread and dipping sauce to start off with. Both times I have went I got the salad and the famous she crab soup. I tried the Caesar and not sure what the other salad was called but had walnuts, apple, and blue cheese type. Everyone's food was also delicious! Highly recommend! Mondays is there wine night and they do half off bottles. Pricing is decent as well for what you get.

This restaurant was a walking distance from our hotel and after reading so many positive reviews we decided to have dinner there.. We arrived early for our reservation and was promptly seated but the restaurant didn’t seem to have any or sufficient AC; It was over 90 degree outside and the restaurant was warm even with all their fans running. We proceeded to order our foods and was quickly disappointed, The fried calamari were extra small both the appetizer and the calamari’s in the Frutti Di Mare, We all ordered different pasta dishes and all the pastas (Linguini, Fettuccini, & Spaghetti) were all undercooked NOT al dente. The only reason for the 3 stars is due to the friendliness of the staff and our waitress.

Dinner tonight was fantastic. My husband got the tortellini rustica and this is now his favorite dish. I think I still prefer the tortellini mannino but after trying the rustica it was a very hard choice (especially if you love sun-dried tomatoes). She crab soup does need to be discussed... still a wonderful flavor but what is up with it now being so watery? Still a must-have but I don't remember the consistency being so liquidy. Veal saltimbocca is fantastic but I do with I got the pasta as my side over the green beans. The green beans left much to be desired. If you like Cabernet Sauvignon- do yourself a huge favor and get the Mannino's Cabernet Sauvignon it is wonderful. $12 a glass for a house wine seems a little pricey but it's one of my favorite Cabs. As always, . Our server was extremely attentive and knowledgeable. She had shorter plantium blonde hair. I would be very happy to get her again. Being able to book a reservation on open table was a lifesaver! Can't wait to go back.

This place has gone downhill in my opinion. I used to come here often for their she-crab soup and delicious pasta, but sadly, our last experience was subpar. The soup, which has always been a popular favorite, seemed watered down this time. We made reservations conveniently through OpenTable, which was great. Our server, Maddie, was friendly, but it did take her a while to check on us several times throughout the meal. On the other hand, Noah, who was serving the table next to us, was very gracious and stepped in to help us out when we needed anything. Overall, it was disappointing compared to how it used to be.

The service here was outstanding. Carson was our waiter and he checked off all the boxes! The food was deeelish. My sister and I met our cousins from Pennsylvania and they were very impressed. So if you want a great meal with excellent service, go to manninos and be sure and ask for CARSON!

I was excited to try it and really pleased to see gluten free options. Too bad the pasta was crunchy and the meal only so-so.

This was my second time to Mannino's, and it did not disappoint! They had a great happy hour, so I got a glass of wine. The fried oysters were yummy and crunchy, my favorite sauce was the orange zesty sauce. It comes with a choice of sides, which we got a red sauce spaghetti and steamed vegetables. It was all so so good. The SOUP!!! This is one of the best crab soups that I have had. There were LUMPS of crab in the creamy goodness. Really good flavor. Do make a reservation!!! Their tables fill up fast with reservations! If it's only you or one other person, you can go without a reservation and wing it. We have sat at their full service bar twice now. The service was great, the bartender was nice and made nice conversation. The ambiance is nice and classy, a great place to celebrate a birthday or go on a date.

I am actually getting to like sitting at the bar more and more. Bartender was Jimmy and he was just great! Great conversation from the beginning, no small talk but actually engaging conversation without overstaying. He would go down the bar and had great conversation with everyone. #impressed For drink I had the night special: Italian crush and it was good. Would definitely have it again. Ambiance was nice, quiet, peaceful nice place t come have dinner, enjoy the company and have some conversation. For main meal I had the Linguine Pesto Genovese with a side of chicken. I am a pesto lover and this was delicious. Portions are HUGE but nothing I can't handle. No dessert this time, there was nothing that spoke to me (not that I was full from my main meal) but they have a good selection and I would expect it to be just as good, if not better, than the food. Dessert is always better. Totally recommend to everyone and definitely will be coming back again. Expensive... but it was worth it overall.

you gotta call to get a reservation - even on week nights! that's how you know a spot is good. it's always packed and the food is delicious. my husband and I came with our baby and the service was great. although the venue is a little smaller, it's def. a family owned vibe. you can tell a lot of locals come to this hidden gem. the food is fantastic and they have a variety of wine selections. my husband and I still talk about their different pasta options - we LOVE garlic and they put plenty of it in the alfredo sauce! MMM

Who would have ever imagined that an Italian Restaurant would have the best She Crab Soup in the area? If you have never been to Mannino's Italian Bistro, do yourself a favor and check them out. Their She Crab Soup is so good that they have been banned from further future competition. They used to win every single time, and rightfully so because theirs is the best I have ever tasted. They are also a fantastic Italian Restaurant offering all of the classic dishes that you might expect from a classic Bistro. Their pasta is freshly made in house daily and so is their sauces. I highly recommend this wonderful eatery to everyone, regardless of your preference for She Crab or Italian cuisine.

I was looking forward to an upscale restaurant arriving in Moyock. Unfortunately I must have caught a bad day. The place is loud but that's not the restaurants fault. I ordered the lasagna. It arrived piping hot in a dish surrounded by sauce and melted cheese, nice presentation! The lasagna itself was lacking texture. There were no visible layers. It was just a lump of pasta and cheese with sauce. My wife had spaghetti but the sauce lacked depth of flavor. I just hope I caught a bad day!

Mannino's is a great date night spot. The vibe, the food the service, top notch. Everything was great and fresh but the one thing that really took my breath away was the crab soup! Absolutely delicious! Must try.

Went for an early Valentine's. Took 10 minutes before we were greeted. Walked in and it's like a cult inside. Entrance of the restaurant was very small, oldish feeling. Got seated in the back. Our waiter, can't remember his name, was very nice and on top of everything. Also, very truthful about the menu and not what to waste our time on which we appreciated especially being our first time there. Order the Prosciutto and Mozzarella appetizer and was not impressed for the price and presentation, it was blah. The bread was yummy. But the oil and balsamic was just plain. Could have added some crushed red pepper, black pepper,oregano- something to make it pop. Other than the bread- not impressed. Order the chicken parm with spaghetti was good per my husband. I ordered the seafood spaghetti with red sauce. It was good, it did need some black pepper and maybe some heat to go with it (red pepper flakes). The amount of seafood was a lot which was great. Tried the creme brulee and it was phenomenal. We should have tried their famous she crab soup but we didn't know until later that's what they are famous for.

It was a horrible experience! It started out nice and they brought bread and olive oil with the baslamiic. Then she took our order. We saw no more of her for about 45 min. No checking on us or our food. Then finally after the chef guy brought our food she asked how it was going?! I said .. 'Where have you been??' She said our order might have gotten lost behind a larger party?!? There was 2 ladies (came in after we ordered!) we're seated and ordered and finished by the time our food came?! Never going back. Great food but horrible service!! No remorse or sorry it took forever?! They didn't care at all!!

This location is in an unassuming strip mall, but when you walk in it is a very lovely, intimate restaurant. I came here with two other co-workers and we each got a drink while we waited for dinner. I don't know a ton about wine but mine was good. A co-worker got their old fashioned and said it was absolutely delicious. They served a bread with olive oil as well, and it was some of the best bread we've ever had! It was so delightful we got a second basket of it and probably could have eaten it all night. Dangerous! Two of us ordered the penne alla vodka and I was pretty disappointed with it. While it wasn't terrible, I felt the sauce was way to loose/liquid-y and didn't coat the pasta very well. A lot of the pasta was lost in a lake of orange vodka sauce. While it wasn't "bad" tasting, for the price and an Italian restaurant of this caliber, I would have hoped for a bit more.

Last week, we had a party of 14 for a birthday celebration at Mannino's Italian Bistro. The night could have not been more perfect! The appetizers were awesome and provided a lot of variety for the group. Several of the people have dietary restrictions, and Mannino's has numerous options for everyone's taste. When our dinners were served, the food was absolutely perfect and the service by Liz was outstanding! Thanks to Mannino's Chef, Liz, and their team for making the night so special.

Girls night dinner at Mannino's was fantastic as always. While me and my girlfriend waited for our friend, we met our awesome waiter Cole!! Such a wonderful young man who gave us excellent service during our girls night dinner. We started with some fresh bread with olive oil and balsamic, the bread was so fresh and soft. The food was fantastic as always we ordered Scampi Franchese, Veal special and I got the Spaghetti side pomodoro with a meatball, that Pomodoro sauce is soooo good and meatball was huge and tender went very well with my dish. One girlfriend ordered the Scampi Francese with mushrooms, there were six huge shrimps that were lightly battered perfectly in a lemon wine sauce with huge slices of mushrooms. She graciously offered us a shrimp and oh my that shrimp was cooked perfectly and the sauce very delightful! My other girlfriend got the Veal Cutlet special: sauteed veal cutlets & cremini mushrooms in sherry gorgonzola cream sauce with a side of their vegetable special green beans. This dish had such tender veal cutlets that you could cut with a fork. The sauce was so creamy and rich. Yum! To end our night we asked Cole for their gelato flavors and the first flavor he mentioned was peanut butter...SOLD! We ordered the gelato trio of Peanut Butter, Espresso and Vanilla and also a cannoli, this gelato trio was perfect end to our meal. Thank you to Mannino's and Cole our server, I will definitely request him next time we visit and you should too!

I've always see this restaurant when going to the places nearby, I'm so delighted I finally dined in it! It was so cute. It definitely had an old, vintage Italian look. The service was nice and informative. Our waiter explained the menu, drinks, and specials when he asked if we have ever had mannino's before. Fried oysters were very good. My husband had no complaints about the house special but said he would order something different next time. My spaghetti meatball parmigiana was soo good! I was debating between this and the ravioli but I'm so glad with my choice. Complimentary bread was also delicious! I definitely would be willing to come here again!

I am going to give this a solid 3 star middle of the road score. Positives- The service is very nice & accommodating. We made a reservation for a post graduation meal but ended up being done much earlier. They were able to move us up easily and with no fuss. Service was friendly and attentive. Ambiance is perfect. Nice enough to feel special but not so fancy that you feel out of place. Veal was delicious as was the she crab soup and gnocchi. The mozzarella chunks were a nice touch! Negatives- No special consideration for a special event dinner so that was a bit of a bummer. Pasta Pesto was extremely bland and boring. My Apollo Francesa was not good at all. You can't fry something & then put it into liquid. It makes it gummy & gross. It also had zero flavor. Do not recommend at all. So 3 stars because it was 50/50 on food.

we have never been disappointed with the food at Mannino's. we like the original location on Princess Ann rd. we have been to the beach location and food was also good, and to the Pleasure house road location (now closed) for good Italian Mannino's deserves a try.

Wow. My husband and I came here for a date night. It was our first time and we did not know that reservations were recommended. Thankfully we didn't mind sitting at the bar and were able to be seated immediately. We ordered wine and drinks, appetizers and meals. We were too full and satisfied to try dessert this time but definitely want to make it a point to try next time. The bartender was phenomenal. Super patient, attentive and down to earth. The portions were HUGE! You definitely get your moneys worth with size and quality. Can't wait for another opportunity to go back.

THE BEST FIND I EVER COULD'VE ASKED FOR!!!! Came here for a friend's birthday and they 100% advocated for this place and I'm genuinely happy that I came! Service is top notch!! Super friendly, efficient and their positive, can-do attitude really makes the restaurant stand out. Highly recommend making reservations ahead of time as it did it pretty packed overnight! YOU NEED TO GET THEIR FAMOUS AND AWARD-WINNING CRAB SOUP. Like no matter what you do here, have this crab soup!!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! I'm mad that I didn't order a bigger portion or got more!! It's really light, super flavorful and the taste....it just sticks with you! I took one spoonful and next thing I knew I was just inhaling it.... In addition to that, we got the complimentary bread, ordered some calamari and I got the Pollo Marsala!! They were all really good and it was surprising how fast they came out AND how well they were made!!! All the food we got was spectacular but the crab soup was definitely the highlight and I could've just had that the whole evening and would've been fine!! YOU NEED TO COME HERE AND GET THEIR CRAB SOUP ASAP PLEASE

It was our first visit and we were not impressed at all. The only positive was the portion sizes (which were really huge), and considering that the prices were quite reasonable. But the taste of food and the freshness of the seafood was in question. The neighboring table received their seafood dishes and even we noticed the unpleasant smell coming from them. Maybe locals do appreciate this place for their good value but for us it was a disappointment, because VB has much better food to offer. The service was slow and unprofessional, and the ambiance is boring as well. I guess it was the first and the last visit for us.

Let's jump right in! That SHE CRAB SOUP is the absolute BEST thing on this planet! Out of this world, in a class all by itself and hands down, the BEST she crab soup I have ever tasted. Yes. It is THAT GOOD! Don't even bother to get the cup--you will want the bowl. It's creamy without it being heavy laden ancream. The crab is plentiful--generous even. We also ordered the calamari and the crab-tini...we should have just ordered appetizers because we are full and the main course hasn't even been delivered yet. Veal portobello eggplant stack, shrimp Francese and lobster ravioli rounded out our meals. Each meal was beyond our expectations. The lobster ravioli was shared by everyone at the table! It was the showstopper of the evening! Our only regret is this place has been here for YEARS and this is our FIRST visit! I can't WAIT to return (tomorrow, in fact).

Service and food is simply the best. This unassuming place has simply the best Italian food in the area. Great wine selection and specials as well. I heard about this place through a friend and had to try the She crab soup. Coming from the southeast I had to compare to what I grew up with, and I embarrassed to say that they beat all of the recipes I grew up with.

We have gone to Mannino's many times. Almost every time we are in Virginia Beach. They have the best She Crab Soup I have eaten although if you get a bowl you may not have room for anything else on their delicious menu. I have had their scallops and fried oysters. Service and ambience are excellent.

Well just want to mention this review is coming from the mannino's in Moyock NC. This was one of the best dinners my daughter and I had in a long time. The service was very professional and prompt. She made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy this special night. I have worked in the service industry in Las Vegas, CA and FL most of my life and I hope this place sticks around for a while. From the hostess to the waitress to the delicious appetizer and main entrée. Couldn't have asked for anything different. Thank You Guys.

Wonderful gem! Had a taste for some authentic and tasty Italian and I don't want to go anywhere else now! I sat at the bar learned of their amazing happy hour and had a wonderful Riesling that tasted like summer! It was just what I needed. Of course I had to try and taste the she crab soup seriously the best I've had since I lived in Maryland. I paired it with the pesto pasta which a huge portion and really a shareable dish. The vibes were nice the bartender was great and the guest there actually made it a desirable experience for me with a great since of community. I can't wait to go back!

Highly recommend, met my expectation for italian cuisine. Reservations are recommended. Our waitress was amazing, she did disclose they were short staffed and did her best to provide exceptional service. The food was delicious, make sure you grab a cup of the crab soup. It is so comforting and delightful. Price wasn't bad either.

My husband and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary at the Princess Ann location. We had stopped going out to eat because dinning out has been an expensive and disappointing experience lately. We took a chance on Mannino's and were very pleased. The food and customer service were excellent. Our waitress Ellie, was the perfect amount of attentive and very sweet. The manager Noah, was delightful, courteous and professional. Excellent customer service and very enjoyable experience. We will definitely be coming back.

The 4 of us are here for a softball tournament. After a morning of softball and a day at the beach we wanted something different than burgers and Mexican for dinner. Decided on Italian and Yelp suggested this location away from the beach and closer to our hotel. We arrived and although we didn't have reservations, which I highly suggest, they had space at the bar. There was space available right behind us for 6 people. Our bartender, Jimmy, is from western NY and provided good conversation. Drinks were quick and Tony ordered an appetizer, mozzarella and prosciutto. Bread with oil and vinegar was served before dinner. Food took a little longer than expected. Liv added Penna ala vodka(5/5), she enjoyed it. Bella ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo, she enjoyed it(5/5). Tony ordered Chefs special(4/5). I ordered the Veal Frenchese(5/5), thoroughly enjoyed the warm bread to go along with the food. Always, the question would we go back, Absolutely! Liv said it was very authentic, this coming from Italians from NY!

The server Katherine was very nice and helpful. We had Caesar Salad (Best Caesar Salad I had ever had. I had penne alla vodka this restaurant is the real thing very inviting very comfortable you do of course you have to make reservations. My brother had the ravioli it comes with 8 ravioli my mother and brother had the she crab bisque my father had Chicken Marsala. I all loved it it was a very good crab bisque I tried it. I recommend this restaurant. In between Pocahontas, pancakes and North end pizza.

Amazing restaurant! Went there for my birthday and sat at the Chef's table. Wonderful experience from the level of service to the food to the casual vibes of the customers between dining or at the bar. Highly recommend

The customer service was good all though the food took a little long but if you prefer a long sit down you will be okay.The she crab soup was one of the best I've ever had and is a must have item. The pasta was very good would recommend getting the side portion as the portions a really big and the vodka sauce was on point .The ambiance was that of a classic Italian restaurant in the heart of Italy.Overall I think it's a great restaurant and would recommend.

Went here for the first time with family after a college graduation ceremony so we were hungry! While the location is a bit obscure and the front of the restaurant doesn't immediately catch your attention, once you're inside it's actually a really nice vibe! There is a nice sized bar area with a wide selection of wine and two dining areas that sometimes seem to be separated by curtains which is cool if you are with a large group. Our waiter was very attentive, friendly, and knowledgable of the menu. He recommend a red wine since wine was half price that evening, and we all loved it! I am not a big wine person but I loved the wine he recommended, wish I got the name. We started off with the calamari, prosciutto and mozzarella, and bruschetta with gorgonzola apps and those were excellent, all 10/10. For entrees, I was between the Tortellini Rustica and the Vitello Saltimbocca but since the waiter recommended I'd pick the Vitello, I went with that. Unfortunately, I actually didn't enjoy that meal as much as I hoped, maybe my tastebuds aren't that fancy yet. I ended up trading plates with my bf who got the gnocchi, and that was better than my plate, 7/10. Our waiter saw that we had traded plates and he was super nice, offering to get me something else if I wasn't enjoying my meal and that I wouldn't have to pay for it!! Superior service! I felt embarrassed of course because I didn't want to be that person and also I was content with eating the gnocchi and off of other family members plates. Took off one star for not really enjoying my plate and the portions of food are monstrous! That may be a good thing sometimes but since we all got pasta, it was a little much and no one finished their plate. Everyone else was happy with what they got, my bf's mom got the Tortellini Rustica and let me have some bites- wish I got that! That was sooo good, 10/10. Overall a very nice first time experience, we will be back for more!

Mannino's is a great find. Small place but worth the wait. Location is a little dated but the service was good and the food was great. We had chicken parmigiana and penne al a vodka and both were delicious

We picked this restaurant for our daughter's birthday because we wanted authentic Italian in a fine dining environment. The food and wines/beverages were exceptional! The service, ambience, and quality of it all surpassed our expectations. We will definitely return!

The best She Crab Soup I have ever tasted! I traveled for 20 years with my work. This soup beat the West Coast and down South. I go to VA tomorrow and am going back for the soup and fresh baked bread. YUMMY!

Very small and traditional Italian restaurant. I love going here for their lemon drops and the crab-tini! SOOOOO Good! This night in particular I sat at the bar for the first time and ordered the fried oysters (another favorite) and a few lemon drops. Per usual they did not disappoint!

My boyfriend and I came here for date night and, while the parking isn't great (but what do you except at the oceanfront), we will 100% be back. I made a reservation 3 days before and I would definitely recommend doing so as the wait at 6:30 on a Sunday was 30 minutes to an hour. They give you a mix of balsamic and olive oil with the bread that was surprisingly good! It's no question why the crab soup is award-winning. I could bathe in it! It's rich and full of flavor! I even ordered an extra cup to go... I got the penne arrabbiata that was a comfortable level of spice and extremely flavorful. Being a person who loves sauce, the ratio of sauce to pasta was great! I got a single meatball on the side and it was HUGE! More than enough! It taste like someone's grandma is back there working! 10/10 and I will definitely be back soon!!

We ate here on April 29. They did not seem overly busy at first and they said they had three chefs in the kitchen but service was not good. We waited 10 minutes for the waitress to get to us which was not a problem. We ordered a Cesar salad to share and it came in a reasonably decent time. However, we had ordered eggplants and it was at least 30 minutes after the salad plates were taken away. We were considering asking for our check and moving on. Finally, it came but no spaghetti. That came 5 minutes later. We had been offered cheese with our eggplants but not the spaghetti and it took a while to get that. There were several people around us who wanted appetizers but the waitress would not take it until they had their complete order as it is all timed in the kitchen and the ticket has to go in that way. The table next to us waited twenty minutes just to get bread. We had read reviews and thought this restaurant would be good. Perhaps it was just a bad night in the middle of the week. Obviously, we will not be back.

Food is delicious. Service was great and friendly. Had the calamari, she crab soup, and shrimp scampi. Great place for a family dinner. Reduced a star because of the atmosphere. Bring earplugs. It's so loud And crowded. Felt claustrophobic. I would probably go again early for dinner or do take out.

Lives up to the hype! I'm part of the Hampton Roads Food recommendation page and heard so many good things about this place, especially when it comes to the she crab soup. So of course a bowl was a must! Our server had great recommendations and gave good details when it came to the menu items. We started off with some wine. I definitely enjoyed the moscato. The bread was fresh and warm. I love the classic olive oil/balsamic combination. I was going to order some appetizers but I figured the quality of the award winning soup would be enough before the main entree. Award winning was right! The soup was the perfect combination of creamy, sweet, savory, flavorful, etc. And it all balanced so well with the fresh crab meat. You could tell they used the good stuff! I'd come back just for the soup! But of course we had to try more. For our mains, we ordered the jumbo shrimp rosé and lasagna bolognese. I couldn't stop eating it. The proportions were large too! We finished our lovely meal with the chocolate truffles. I might have overeaten, but my taste buds were having a party. I try new places to curate my own list of regular places to eat at when I'm craving a certain cuisine or food item, and I can tell Mannino's will be on the list. Thanks to that she crab soup!

So this place is very nice. It's a little small for my liking but the food makes up the lack in space. I was very well pleased with their selections of food. We all chose something different to try and it all was good. I actually have no complaints. If you love authentic Italian food, this is your place to go. You must make reservations though through the app OpenTable. And be on time of arrive a little earlier. This place feels up pretty quickly. A rating

The food is usually very good. My last two visits, the she crab soup was barely warm. The taste is so good that I just keep eating it and don't say anything. I will return, hopefully to hotter soup! The service is above average and the staff has always been great. The space is comfortable and allows you to feel cozy while you eat.

This is the best Italian food in Hampton Roads. Also the she crab soup is to die for. Definitely get a reservation on the busy nights.

Delicious restaurant that is a local fave. They have the best She crab soup in the country. The ambiance is comfortable and the staff are great. I highly recommend you check them out if you are visiting the area or even if you're a native. You won't regret it!
