I am writing this review on the ambiance, look of the small type diner.
First impressions are a factor to me! If it appears to be dirty, in several ways of the word, disorganized or boxes, etc, laying around, tables not cleaned, utensils and so on, tells me a lot about the cleanliness of the place.
So, I ask myself, how do they handle the kitchen, prep, cases, and food!? Even bathroom.?
Coming into this place, the back part of the room near the entrance of the kitchen. Boxes laying around with condiments, etc, in them. Items should be placed properly, and put where it belongs and not put on the floor, without having something to put it on, off the floor. Health issue to me. Plus, there was a mold like smell in the back part of the place.
Brought a first-time customer. We started with split pea soup w croutons. The croutons tasted moldy. The person with me stated the same thing. Yes, the waitress took it away and apologized, but that said enough to me.
Paid for our drinks and tip. We left and never went back!
Look, if you are willing to pay for what the mgmnt; owners are asking, then I want what I want in the food and ambiance.
