Great area. We went up to this shopping center during the Tsunami warning and eat at a really great Thai restaurant. Lots of places to hang out while waiting to be released to go back home after the warning.

My niece introduced me to this restaurant. The service was impeccable, staff very attentive and the food was just delicious. Plate presentation out of this world. The combination of flavors that were served at each course of our meal was exemplary. A must go and eat at the Plum restaurant.

My week day visit found a couple of stands stocked for business. My mission was some ripe papayas. Not sure what type. They were on the larger side and sweet. Add sliced mango, cup of coffee and voila.

Quiet neighbourhood shopping mall for basic needs

This little mall has most everything the neighborhood of Manoa needs. There's a Safeway and a CVS for their daily needs. There is also bank and several small restaurants available in this outdoor mall. On the upper floors, there are a variety of services ranging from nail and hair salons along with some yoga and physical therapy studios. They recently redid the parking lot here and I initially questioned the logic in which this was planned and executed. In the end, it seemed as though more parkings were removed than added. But this just might be perception. I'm guessing that this parking work had to be done to accommodate the large tree roots that were cracking and raising the asphalt in the parking lot. I might be a bit biased since I've been coming to this mall since I was a child. But, despite the recent parking woes, I still rate this mall highly at 4 stars.

Yelp
Shopping and dining in Manoa, Honolulu, Hawaii... There are at least six buildings at Manoa Marketplace. Some buildings have two stories, and others are single-leveled, such as McDonald's. The main stores are Longs and Safeway. Other shops are smaller, such as Island Manapua, BRUG Bakery, Kay's Crackseed, Fendi Boulangerie, Leahi Health, Paesano Restaurant, Edible Arrangements, Manoa Sushi, and Le Crepe Cafe. The newest addition was Aroma Italia. Upstairs businesses include Allison Izu, Manoa Nails, Salon Kai, dentists, a dance studio, and jiu-jitsu. There's also a post office, a laundromat, financial institutions, and a veterinarian clinic. Overall, it's a calm and quiet outdoor mall. After the most recent renovation, there still are many trees, new common areas with benches, chairs, and tables, and a children's play area! There's also a Farmers' Market on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from 7am to 2pm!

Yelp
I come here every so often. It's anchored by Safeway their biggest tenant in this center. Longs Drugs is also here, along with a bunch of eateries, post office and laundromat. They have Farmers Market every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from 7am-2pm. You can get fresh veggies and fruits. They also sell arts and crafts. My favorite places to visit are Paesano, Fendu Boulangerie and Island Manapua.

Yelp
Geez can someone replace that Delbert guy, the cashier at Long's here? He is slow as molasses!! Should not be at the checkout!

Yelp
Got a good mix of shops and restaurants. Definitely a convenient location with good food, desserts and other conveniences like a grocery store and drug store. I tried four of the restaurants and I'm happy with most of them. Restrooms were clean.

Yelp
Manoa marketplace is located in the heart of Manoa Valley. It's a very convenient place to shop as it has Safeway grocery store, Longs drugs, a McDonald's, gas station, First Hawaiian Bank, and other small shops and restaurants including a Thai restaurant, bakery, Italian restaurant and even the crack seed store is still there. It also has the convenience of having a small post office in the corner.I feel safe shopping here especially with my children. Parking can be a bit tight on the weekends but otherwise there's always plenty of parking. They've been recently re-doing the parking lot due to the issues with the tree roots. They have a weekly farmers market which is small, but does have a lot of fresh produce.

Yelp
They just remodeled, finally after about 100 years or so... and it looks good. First, the bathrooms are locked, but they are cleaned regularly and pretty clean. After thus, everything else is a bonus ya? They opened their jungle gym which the kids adore. Id be careful cuz they little ones can definitely fall. Its probably about 10 feet high or so. But jts good for the kids. The renovations looks pretty good. Maybe next they ca. Focus on the parking. And make some of the stall bigger for the larger vehicles and grandmas who had a hard time reserving out...lololol

Yelp
There are a number of local businesses in this shopping center and I try to support as many small businesses that I can. The Safeway has been there for decades...though mostly remodeled. Fendu Boulangerie and Brug Bakery are the places that I patronize most often and they both offer excellent customer service along with very good breads, pastries & paninis. There are several specialty stores and eateries along with a couple of banks that will cover the average shoppers needs...they also have a farmers market, I believe on Saturdays?

Yelp
Did ya know there was a pretty cool shopping center tucked away in the Manoa valley neighborhood???? For you folks who are not townies..........yes, in the heart of Manoa valley, there is a shopping center called - Manoa Marketplace. Not an overly large shopping complex, but the shopping center has a nice balance of businesses ranging from restaurants, drug store, supermarket, post office, bakery, dry cleaning/laundry services, banking/financial institutions, gas station, & doctor's offices. There are too many businesses here, and I can't list them all for you, so I will just share a link so you can see the various businesses in the Manoa Marketplace - http://manoamarketplacehawaii.com/shops-services/ I come here a lot, as all the banking/financial institutions are my customer in the Manoa area. I also come here a lot for Longs Drugs (cuz who in Hawaii doesn't go to Longs?), as well as Safeway. When I need a good cup of coffee...........I like to go to (CBTL) Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and when I'm feelin' like saving a few bucks on coffee............. well, it's good ol' (McD's)! By the way..........McD's does make a decent cup of coffee! :D It's nice to see that the Moana Marketplace has reinvested into this property, as they are currently doing some renovations within the parking lot..........I guess the trees on the property had grown too big, and the roots from the tree have seriously warped various sections of the parking lot. A nice chill shopping complex.........and a great place to visit, do a little shopping, and get away from the hustle & bustle!

Yelp
Mānoa Marketplace has everything you need and then some! This shopping center is in the heart of Manoa between Woodlawn Drive and East Manoa Road, and it's really a unique place to visit. There's many specialty stores, and restaurants of every cuisine within the shopping center. There's plenty of parking too! This is probably one of a few shopping centers where there isn't a true anchor store that brings customers, and literally covers all your needs. Safeway, Longs, and McDonalds with a Starbucks across are there. Need to go to the bank? They're all there within walking distance from each other. Need fresh baked bread and pastries and fresh sandwiches? There are several! Need coffee? There's Starbucks and Coffee Bean, plus specialty coffees at the bakeries. Post office? There's one? Manapua, plate lunch, and crack seed? Yes, yes, and yes! Ramen? Yes. Sushi? Yes. Italian? Yes. Pho? Yes. Korean? There's two! Chinese? Yup! Need a haircut and a manicure? Yes. I can go on and on. Even though this is an older shopping center, it is very well maintained and hasn't changed at all since I frequented here during my UH days. Beautiful trees everywhere providing valuable shade. Coming to Manoa seems inconvenient because it's not really along the way to anywhere, but there are several roads you can take to get here: up University Ave, up Punahou St and break off onto East Manoa Road or come around the back way on Manoa Road. I enjoy coming to Manoa because it's so much more green and lush here, and the weather just feels a little bit cooler. This marketplace provides so many delicious foods and specialty stores that you always find your way back here over and over again.

Yelp
I work with kupuna in the Waikiki area and we recently started a shopping day program where we have been taking about 10-12 seniors shopping here at Manoa Marketplace. We love this location because there is a wide range of services, and the farmers market, who doesn't love going to a farmers market?! There are more than 4 banks, a post office, a salon, two grocery stores, many restaurants and many other stores. Although we do miss the Breadbox, we enjoy going to the European bakery. The kupuna love it because they get to go on an excursion, socialize and get their shopping and other errands done! It definitely gets them away from the hectic Waikiki area.

Yelp
Looks like this place has seen better days. Aesthetically a bit deteriorated with some empty tenant space, rusty table seating, etc. That said, however, it had everything I needed over a lunch break which included a tasty pho lunch at Pho Viet Thien Hong (upstairs), awesome monkey bread roll at Brug Bakery (middle of lower level), and a convenient grocery stop at Safeway market for sparkling water.

Yelp
I can spend a day in this little strip mall. All little shops with different flavors and charm. Pizza, bakery, sandwiches, drugstore, Italian Restaurant (my fav), a chain supermarket, Starbucks, all in one place for the discerning shopper. Great that they are pet friendly as long as you have someone with you to hang on to the pets while you shop! Since most of the shops aren't huge you just run in and grab what you want and can sit on the outside tables and enjoy the cooler weather with friends or family. I would be here more often if I live in the neighborhood. Since I don't I'm here several times a month wishing I did. Easy in, Easy out place. Really like the vibe and the people here.

Yelp
Very chill marketplace in one of my favorite valleys. Lots of shade trees and expect showers, because - it's Manoa! I've been coming here since the early 90s (remember Coffee Manoa?). Food, banks, groceries, gas, essentially most of what you need for day to day life around here. For coffee, try CBTL or up the street to Morning Glass. I always go to Andy's across the way for lunch. If you are doing the Manoa Falls trail stop by before or after for supplies at Manoa Marketplace.
google avatar

Yelp
It was a little disappointing because there weren't many shops. I didn't buy much because the price was high.
google avatar

Fonteyn M.

Yelp
Well my review might be biased because I used to work at the Safeway in this marketplace. From working there for 4-5 yrs I got to know the people in this small community and saw first hand how everyone here has a genuine love for the valley and show the "aloha spirit". Not to mention the always green surroundings. Good eats all around and good people.
google avatar

Yelp
As in all shopping complexes the location and the businesses offered are key in its success towards serving the needs of the community. The Manoa Marketplace does just that. With a post office, bank, major supermarket, and a number of great dining choices and more, this place qualifies under the "One Stop Everything" concept. What sets this place aside from the rest is the beauty and relaxing effect of the mountains and the valley. NIce place to kick back and have a cup of coffee.

Yelp
I love love love love this marketplace.... it's my favorite shopping center on this island and I feel absolutely lucky that I live right down the road... (dorm at UH manoa). The atmosphere is awesome, very calm, relaxing and peaceful. I moped my way to the manoa marketplace to study at the Coffee bean, but for all you Starbucks lovers, there's one down the road too. This place has literally everything for my lifestyle. I go to college and LOVE LOVE LOVE coffee bean so I go here to study, get some errands done, because they have a post office and bank of Hawaii. I get my groceries through the farmers down here because I like quality in my food and love helping out Hawaii and it's farmers... when voila! They have a farmer's market. I believe it's in the mornings on Tues, Thurs, & on weekends, not to sure because it's been a while since I've gone. They also have Subway, my favorite fast food place because it (seems) the healthiest and one of the cheapest. Mcdonald's and blazin' steaks is here too for the ones that aren't health conscious as well as other restaurants, like sushi, ramen, etc. And when I need random things for home, projects coming up, gifts to get people... you can get almost anything here! They have a Safeway, This is the most convenient place ever! (I guess every person has different lifestyles so it might not be for you). There were a few complaints about parking... but I've never had parking issues before. =)

Yelp
Manoa Market place is basically the only shopping center in the heart of Manoa valley. If you live here, you would most likely be shopping and dining here just out of convenience after work and during the weekends, if you don't want to drive far to get whatever you need for daily use. Manoa Market place reminds me of Kahala Mall, where you have just about everything here to keep you sheltered within Manoa and not have to really go outside. There's the quintessential McDonald's, Longs Drugs, and Starbucks, along with eateries that will make your mouth water with delight. While the Bangkok Chef is technically not on the Manoa Market place grounds, it's a good place to go when you are craving good Thai food at reasonable prices. Among the other places within Manoa Market place worthy to note would be Hanaki Japanese restaurant, Paesano Italian Restaurant, Subway, and Pho Viet Thien Hong, which is decorated pink inside. I thought that was just interesting. This place is a quaint shopping center where you could just do whatever you need here and not leave. The Safeway here is pretty good, although it can be improved. There is a good, but limited spread of restaurants and specialty stores to keep you engaged for a short time. There's free wiFi at McDonalds and at Starbucks. While I don't live in Manoa, I do sometimes frequent here when I make time to see here. Manoa is beautiful and it's nice to come over here once in a while. The Manoa public library is nearby as well. B+

Yelp
My mom is originally from this area so we been coming back every so often to visit the marketplace, grab produce from the farmers market and grab snacks and/or a bite to eat. This marketplace has such a relaxing atmosphere we just enjoy it. It can get busy but it doesn't have that crazy hectic feel. We usually spend a few hrs here doing our shopping and grabbing a meal. Ample parking Restrooms upstairs

Yelp
The reason for the one star is the pharmacy. Longs Manoa Pharmacy is the WORST! For a pharmacy, they make way too many errors, even auto-refill when I don't select that option. One of my recurring prescriptions is often out of stock! And I rarely get an apology. This time, they claimed someone picked up my prescription (no one did), then changed & said they mailed it (I got no confirmation emails or texts, & it doesn't show up on my USPS app). The girl then told me to call USPS. Helloooo! I have no tracking number for them to locate it! I then got put on hold forever, so I called my doctor's office to see if they could help fix the situation, and the pharmacy told them that someone hand delivered it to my house (Story #3-suuuure--after all the above, I don't believe them). So looks like I can't get my meds and lost the $6 copayment that I prepaid.

Yelp
I love this market place! Located behind of like University Hawaii Manoa. The vibe is so cute! Plus they actually have a lot of store's that are good for different uses! Right off the top of my head I can't remember all of the stores but there's my bank American Savings, Safeway, McDonalds, Peppa's Korean BBQ, this hello kitty shop, Edible Arrangements, etc! There's always plenty of parking&the people totally are valley-esk. Chill. lol come down to Manoa and check this place out. Super cute! Maybe after a hike at Manoa Falls who knows:)

Yelp
Neighborhood shopping plaza in Manoa. They have the essentials, Longs, Safeway, Chevron and a McDonalds. Some eateries: Paesano Italian, Manoa Sushi, Manoa Bakery, Red Ginger Cafe, Grylt, Tokoname Sushi, Serino's Pizza. Banks there: Central Pacific Bank, Territorial Savings and a First Hawaiian Bank There's also a laundromat, a dry cleaner, a karaoke Vietnamese restaurant, a Chiropractor Parking can get filled during peak hours such as lunch and dinner time.
google avatar

Faye M.

Yelp
There are so many eateries here, I gained like 5 pounds after moving to the area!! It's really a one stop shop place: banks, grocery store, long's, a coffee bean, laundromat, post office, farmer's market, eateries, dentist offices, salons, nail place, yoga, etc!! Parking gets kind of nuts, but what do expect? This is Manoa - old foggies galore!!
google avatar

Jenny Y.

Yelp
Manoa marketplace is a one-stop shop for groceries, gas, coffee, etc. They have four banks here(Bank of Hawaii, American savings, First Hawaiian bank and Territorial savings bank). Breadbox and Fendu Boulangerie are popular spots for bread and pastries! There's even Serino's for those with a pizza craving.

Yelp
If you live in Manoa, this is most likely your weekly stop for groceries or dining out. Other than Lanikai, Manoa is probably the other neighborhood I would most like to live and die in old age. Let us look into the far off future when I am a senior. (Wayne's World style time warp) I am 87, but appear to still be in 40s, thank you very much! (Bomchickawomwom) Not much has changed in the last fifty years in Manoa Marketplace, other than the fact that the old tree which sits in the parking lot by Longs has finally been removed. So your car no longer is covered in rubbish every time you park. The farmers market is still held throughout the week except everything is certified organic! An apple banana is only $97. A steal really. They have finally found a restaurant that can sustain itself in the old Shipley's space. It's actually a Starbucks. Everything in the future is a Starbucks. I whisk back and forth on my BMW hovercraft. I think traveling via teleportation is a bit tacky. I'm old school that way. (Wayne's World style time warp) My fave places to check-out if you're at Manoa Marketplace: +GRYLT +Fendu Boulangerie +Cara Mia (They sell all kinds of Hello Kitty crap that my little five year old swoons over) +Andy's Sandwich & Smoothies (Right across the street) Yelp 365 Challenge: #68/365 (The Future Me)
google avatar

M L.

Yelp
I need to give credit to A&B for listening to the community and preserving almost all of the monkeypod trees. Not only did they preserve them, but they gave them the space that they need. Local arborist Steve Nimz of the Tree People did a great job guiding the work in the right direction.
google avatar

Ashley N.

Yelp
Watch out if you're planning on parking at Manoa Marketplace and walking across the street to Starbucks or Andy's Sandwiches & Smoothies, because they have people waiting in the parking lot to put a boot on your car. This new system is entirely ridiculous, since you have to either pay $160 to get the boot off your car or two different fines when they tow your car... I really wish I could give a zero-star review, since I was one of these people who had my car booted. I do realize it is my fault for not reading the signs in the first place, but the company Manoa Marketplace hired is EXTREMELY rude. They are a bunch of thugs waiting in a sketchy white van that try to bully you in paying the $160 fine to remove the boot. Even if you previously shopped in the marketplace and just decided to walk across the street to pick up a cup of coffee, they will put a boot on your car irregardless. I am so fed up with Manoa Marketplace, even though I have lived in Manoa and shopped at there all of my life. If Manoa Marketplace really wanted to crack down on their parking situation, they would not be going after their customers who walk across the street to go to Starbucks, but rather people who park in the opposite end of the parking lot who walk off the property all the time. Because of this situation, I will NOT be shopping at Manoa Marketplace again, I will take my money to another center who actually appreciates their customer's business.
google avatar

Nat N.

Yelp
This marketplace has everything - a bank, Long's, coffee shops, manapua, Italian, Korean, and Japanese restaurants; crackseed store, a couple bakeries, Safeway, yoga, post office, dentists, and McDs. If I lived in Manoa I don't think I'd ever leave the valley on the weekends because everything I could ever need is right here!
google avatar

Lovesto E.

Yelp
So much wear at this place! Once used to be pretty clean and presentable, but after walking around here recently, the place seemed run down. Not what I was used to seeing. Still a number of main stores there, including Longs and Safeway, but the whole place needs to be updated! Manoa is known for its beautiful homes and landscape. Too bad this place became so run down.
google avatar

Justine H.

Yelp
My comment got recently removed because it "lacks a substantive firsthand experience." My comment was in regard to the new parking restrictions- if you step off property, you will be booted and towed. I was a frequent shopper at Manoa Marketplace, but now with the parking constrictions It makes it hard to enjoy the shops at the Marketplace. No longer can you enjoy a Starbucks and shop at Safeway at the same time. If you wanted to do that, you would need to park at the marketplace for safeway and then re-park for starbucks. NO THANK YOU! I will continue to boycott Manoa MarketPlace because it lacks Aloha. They have lost my business.
google avatar

Shay F.

Yelp
This little marketplace is tucked away in Manoa valley. I really like this place because it's so "local" as in a sense that pretty much everyone there is friendly, there is always parking, and it's not flooded with tourists. They even have a farmers' market on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday mornings!
google avatar

Yelp
Because I used to live in & around UH Manoa during college, a few friends and I would come down here for various things since it was nearby. Even though I no longer live as close to Manoa, I still like coming to this nice little shopping area that is located in one of the nicer & friendlier neighborhoods in town. One thing that there is to like about this place is that it has almost everything you need. There's a Longs Drugs where you can get most dry goods and other assorted stuff, a Safeway for grocery shopping, dry cleaning(Manoa Dry Cleaning I think?), laundromat-Manoa Laundry, bank, post office, coffee shop(2 but only the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is in the mall itself), and various eateries. Because I used to come here fairly frequently during college, I remember the place being nice & friendly. Thankfully that vibe is still here after all that time. As I mentioned above, it has a good variety of places to shop & get things done so it's a place I come to when necessary. In fact, when my washing machine was on the fritz, I came here to do laundry and got some dinner too. If you want to get away from the hustle & bustle of the usual places in town(Ala Moana, Ward Center/Warehouse, Waikiki, etc.) and don't mind driving to a place that's a little out of the way, this is the place to go.

Yelp
Great little shopping center in Manoa. They have food, banks, restaurants, and grocery stores.
google avatar

Yelp
I love this little farmers market. Tues/Thur early morning to about 2pm? The merchants are always super friendly and prices are fair, and duhhhh gotta support local. Be sure to pay attention to the signage stating "local" though if that's what you want as they have a mix of imported fruit/veg as well. I get my favorite homemade green papaya salad dressing here, as well as pre-shredded green papaya and carrots. Ughhh so yummy, I always stock up on dressing on salad!! Can also buy fresh cut fruit like dragon fruit, mango, watermelon! CASH ONLY, but FHB within steps if you need. Lots close parking and Long's Drugs And Safeway conveniently located right next door.
google avatar

Julia S.

Yelp
A nice town marketplace. Pretty quaint, it has all the necessities for a little center. There's a mcdonalds, coffee bean and starbucks, dessert places, food places (burgers, italian, korean, japanese, vietnamese) and healthy options like Andys and Red Ginger. Also banks and a drug store Longs. There are public restrooms and also a restroom inside of Safeway toward the back! Decent amount of chairs outside to sit, most with tables so you can eat or bring your laptop. They have WiFi but it's hard to get in some places in the market... I think it's better closer to their office above Milano Freezer. Their Safeway is 24/7 which gives them 3 out of the 4 stars in my rating. Just kidding. No but really. It's awesome.

Yelp
I know I don't need to write a review for Manoa Marketplace, but I am anyways. THIS MARKETPLACE IS AWESOME. one stop shopping at its finest. Where else can you get your birth control, venti latte and a tank of gas all at once while cramming a mc double into your face? Also, this place is cute and there is always a parking spot. when i lived in hawaii kai, i would often i find myself playing musical parking spots. AND its close to the university, boasts a lot of yummy places (ISLAND MANAPUA FACTORY) 24/7 SAFEWAY, what more could you ask for?!

Yelp
Parking is bananas here, it iterally drives you crazy! Other than that it has a good share of great restraunts, grocery stores and pharmacy. Complete with a post office, bank and some dental offices are there, my kids go to Dr Emily Bordner she is a Godsent they love her. It's a cozy little mall in a cozy little community love it, just really dislike the parking. PS Thursdays and I believe Saturday or Sunday morning they have a farmer's market! Amazing produce and awesome service from the suppliers go check it out!! =)

Yelp
Honestly I live up the road so I usually run into Long's or Safeway if I need something depending on the day/time based on convenience. That being said I usually try to avoid coming here at night (around dinner time) because the parking can be a P.I.T.A. since there are so many restaurants but not enough parking to accommodate it all. On nights when the Manoa Theatre has a play the parking on the Safeway side is terrible. Finally Sunday morning / afternoon the parking on the Long's side is bad because that is the day the ads come out. Other than its not that bad if you can remember to avoid it on those previously mentioned days.

Yelp
I have lived in Manoa for pretty much my whole life... ever since I was five since my dad didn't want to have to drive me into town from Kailua every day for school and work. Manoa marketplace was pretty much where we did everything - my parents owned their business upstairs there, we came to shop here (Longs and Safeway), banking, and even shopped for clothes there... well, my dad was convinced I like Chelsea's clothes when I was in elementary school (which I disliked... I was a kid, come on!). I always have loved coming here since I can hit up both Safeway and Longs for groceries and household items and it's never too crazy that I can't get a stall here. Also, this is my favorite McDonald's since I can always understand what they're saying more often than not and they have that cool thing for the drive thru that brings your food overhead... woot! The only downside to this place is that with high rent, sometimes they have turnover for their tenants. Also, the parking lot despite their renovations does have lots of pot holes and it makes for bumpy rides.

Yelp
It's unfortunate to hear about the parking situation at Manoa Marketplace. There is ample parking, but apparently the parking lot is only for the businesses juxtaposed to it, not the businesses across the street. According to the news, Manoa marketplace is having towers place boots on cars of people parked in the lot who go across the street. I see this as a war on the community. I live right down the street and am a good customer of many of the businesses there. However my business also includes Andy's and Starbucks which I apparently can't park at the marketplace for. It's really sad when businesses in Hawaii are stingy and denounce aloha and start spreading this kind of hate and rejection around the community.

Yelp
I've never been to Manoa Market place before, but it's summer and I have a lot of free time on my hands, so I paid it a visit. I guess the location is pretty inconvenient for someone who doesn't live nearby or have any other business to attend to in the area. Aside from that, it's a nice place where you can meet some friends for lunch, do your banking stuff, shop your groceries, and maybe get your hair done. I just came for lunch after school, but ended up staying for a couple hours just outside a bakery reading a book. It's not deserted, but not so crowded to the point I feel bad for sitting in one place for too long, and I really like that

Yelp
Healthy, tasty plate of food, fast. Rushing to a Manoa Neighborhood meeting, I stopped at Grylt for a quick bite. I ordered the cauliflower mash, grilled veggies, and steak with sun dried tomatoes. Yum! The steak was nicely done and flavored just right. The mash was seasoned perfectly. And, the grilled veggies were cooked perfectly. It was all prepared quickly. My only critique is that the grilled veggies had too many onions. I like onions, but it was overwhelming.

Yelp
Remarkable mix of stores, restaurants, specialty shops and even a jazz club. I would say 95% of these are on top of their game. There's a French bakery, a couple of sandwich shops, coffee places, Vietnamese, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, other fast food. Interestingly, every possible bank in the state has a presence here. Where else in Hawaii can you find a marketplace like this? I didn't rate this a 5 because it's really due for a facelift.

Yelp
Ample parking and a little but of everything. Need your script filled, check out Longs. Need an awesome Family Doctor, go see Dr. Traci Masaki-Tesoro at Manoa Family Medical Group. Need some serious grinds, Pho, Italian, Thai, Japanese, and more...it's all here! Seriously, I can stop my doctor's office and my favorite lunch spots without moving my car!

Yelp
I have a problem with Longs Manoa. They are always short staffed and sometimes the pharmacists are rude. They need to tighten up their act

Yelp
While there are many fine businesses in Manoa Marketplace, the inexcusable way the marketplace management is treating customers with the new parking policy reflects badly on all tenants and is no way to be a good community member. I have notified the businesses of the marketplace that I and my family will not patronize them while this parking policy is in effect. I urge others to consider taking this action. Below is the letter I hand delivered to marketplace businesses. June 23, 2012 Dear Manoa marketplace vendor, Effective this date I will no longer patronize your business, buy your products or use your services because of the new parking enforcement policy in effect for Manoa Marketplace. I will continue to take my money and my business elsewhere until this parking policy is removed. Completely. In the past month alone, I or members of my family have made purchases for goods or services at least 8 Manoa Marketplace businesses. On a regular basis we have paid for services and goods at many more Manoa Marketplace establishments. We will now take our business elsewhere. This will include cessation of professional services and an end of purchases from the Manoa Marketplace Farmer's Market. I have not experienced a penalty from the new parking policies but take this action because I find these policies reprehensible and without merit. I have never been unable to find a parking place and have not found the parking to be any less crowded then at any number of other malls and business around the city. I will encourage my Manoa neighbors and friends to take the same action. While this will be an inconvenience to my family, it pales in comparison to the inconvenience, disregard and disrespect of the new parking policy for your customers. Sincerely, Steve Smith Manoa Resident on Pinao Street

Yelp
I love manoa market place. I live in manoa and shop there all the time but what's up "booting of cars"? Has the management gone insane??? Where is the aloha and the quaintness of manoa valley? Need new management ,they are not doing their job. taking a few few complaints and blowing it out of proportion. Poor decisions. Remember the messed up parking stalls that were painted? What about those big refrigerated trucks for edible arrangements that take up a lot of space. How this mess gets resolved. I think new management with more innovative ideas should be hired. I love that market place but I don't like they way things are handled.

Yelp
Nothing amazing here. The shopping g complex is rather large and doesn't match its surroundings. Horrible use of space. Good shops. And great location.
