"Established in 2007, this family-run restaurant serves a mix of Greek and Italian dishes in a homey atmosphere. The large portions ensure that guests can sample a variety of items if they’re in a large group; the bruschetta, chicken kebabs, and moussaka are menu highlights. For dessert, choose from the house’s namesake cannoli, tiramisu, or baklava." - Mekita Rivas, Tierney Plumb

Love this place. Staff is friendly. Highly recommend eating in (vs. takeaway) for pizza and fried calamari. It just doesn't taste as good when you bring it home! Pizza is average, sandwiches/hoagies are pretty awful, but this place shines for its Greek and Italian dishes. Pastas and gyros and skewered meats are all really good at pretty decent prices. Always people coming in and out from back door as there is ample parking to pick up your order. It's a favorite among the locals.

Google
The $10-20 per person estimate is a little low but I still strongly suggest trying this place. I'd say closer to $20-30 per. Really cozy environment. The chicken kebab was AMAZING, and the green beans come in this wonderful sauce. I had a hunch to get the cheese ravioli and I'm so glad I kept it simple because their tomato sauce is delectable. 11 out of 10!

Google
Two thumbs up for this cozy spot. We made a reservation for our anniversary but we didn’t really need one for early Sunday night dinner. Our table had a reserved sign and we sat in the window. Free parking in the back of the restaurant and you can enter through the back. Our server was sweet and friendly. They served chilled glasses for the first beer but no the second. It was so cold and good. The Olive oil is amazing. Good bread. There were about 5 small pieces. We weren’t offered more. The caprese salad lacked flavor, the cheese seemed like it needed salt or something, but everything in it was fresh. Eggplant parmigiana was so good. So good. But, the edge was burnt from the side of the baking pan, I guess so I couldn’t it every bit like I wanted to! The shrimp pasta dish had a too much sauce but tasted good. The drinks served next to us looked great. They bought us a free desert for our anniversary. I will definitely return.

Google
This place has been here a long time and you can’t beat the value you get for the quality of food. A glass of wine is only $7.50 and I enjoyed a nice glass of Pinot Noir & a Gyro. It was delicious snd just over $20. Would have been double in DC! Nice to eat well and not break the bank; by the way the menu is vast with lots of Greek and Italian dishes.

Google
Absolutely delicious! Traditional Italian restaurant with big portions and lots of sauce.

Kelly Almeida

Google
Small Italian Greek restaurant with fresh mozzarella, EVOO and Italian bread. I got the bruschetta and Gyro and it was exceptional! My husband and I lived in Europe for 3 years and this food is definitely hand crafted and some of the best European style food we’ve had in America.

Google
They serve you with their own extra virgin olive oil, hand picked. The crew are warm and welcoming. There are good variety of Italian and Greek food on the menu. If there were three and half star, I would give a higher ranking.

Google
Very nice, quiet restaurant. I had a shrimp & scallops with spinach and linguine pasta. it was really delicious, but a bit overpriced. I asked for the specials of the day and our waitress recommended one of the most expensive entrees on the menu without giving me the price. We had to seat ourselves. Also There is free parking behind the restuarant.

Yelp
We booked this homey and cozy Italian/Mediterranean restaurant for our rehearsal dinner (close to the church). Menu has traditional Italian fare (pasta, pizza) as well as Greek items (kebabs, moussaka, Greek salad, ect). They also have gluten-free and vegan options. The complimentary bread was warm baguettes with olive oil for dipping. Was very good. I ordered the shrimp Aegean. It was a huge portion of noodles with marinara sauce, perfectly cooked large shrimp, feta and sun-dried tomatoes. The sauce while rich and flavorful was not too heavy. Everyone enjoyed their food (plenty of leftovers). Prices are very reasonable and service is very friendly and warm.

Yelp
A neighborhood gem! There are only a handful of tables at this low key Italian and Greek restaurant. We shared a large Manoli pizza and large super salad. Both were fabulous. The super salad had fresh romaine, carrots, cabbage, sliced tomatoes, onions (somewhat treated but I'd skip next time,) and the star, the homemade mozzarella with a zingy Italian dressing. It was refreshing and addictive. I could eat this nonstop. The Manoli pizza had a large amount of toppings: Tomato sauce, mozzarella, meatballs, pepperoni, sausage, ham, onions, red peppers, mushrooms, Kalamata olives, and basil. None of the ingredients was overly salty and it ended up quite balanced and tasty. Perfect chew and crunch to the pizza. It was great. For dessert, my family had a tartufo which had chocolate, pistachio, and strawberry ice cream surrounded by a chocolate shell. They loved it. Service is friendly. There are plenty of pre prepared meals in freezers, perfect for a home meal. Thanks Yelpers for helping us find yet another spot!

Russell J.

Yelp
It's always the quiet ones that blow you away the most! Like most people, I've passed right by this unassuming place for years without giving it a second thought. Tonight though, I decided to give it a try. Probably some of the best Italian cuisine in the entire region! I ordered a salad with homemade Italian dressing, an antipasti plate, and the Shrimp & Mushroom Piccata. Everything was divine! The dressing was vibrant and bursting with flavor! The house-made mozzarella was great, and my main was superb. Looks like they do a mean to-go and frozen food business as well. Def an underrated spot for sure!

Enrique D.

Yelp
Decent. Not sure why Italian food is paired with Mediterranean food. Makes no sense any way you slice it. The sausage they use on their pizza tastes like it was spiced in a back alley of Beroit in the 1970s. It's just labeled "sausage" and not "cardamom, fenugreek, and black pepper sausage" That Lebanese sausage is hard to peel off, too. It's sliced like kafta (WHY???) and so is glued to the pizza dough. Good luck

Ben Y.

Yelp
The parking in back is plentiful so that is a plus. The food here is well made but at least for the dishes I had, not spectacular. There was nothing wrong with the food it just was average in my opinion. The big dinner salad with fresh mozzarella was served with a yuzu vinaigrette like dressing, which was pretty good. We also had a chicken kabob and the spaghetti and meatballs. They were well cooked but I would not consider that enough for 4 stars. Wait staff did a satisfactory job. I am sure it is a fine local restaurant but not worth a special trip in my opinion.

Kevin J.

Yelp
Cute place. Loved the lemon chicken piccata. My husband had a wine chicken special. It was a nice little local place

Jack T.

Yelp
I ordered a Meat Lasagna and an order of 3 meatballs to travel. When i tried it at home, there was no meat, but rather eggplant, which I detest. I called and spoke to someone who insisted it was a meat lasagna. He said "that's the only one we got." It may have been a meat flavor in the sauce, but they need to either make a meat lasagna or advertise it as an eggplant lasagna....which my tried and opined that even the eggplant was average. Lastly, the 3 meatballs were the size of golf balls and very average in flavor. I agree that we need to patronize local restaurants, but not at the expense of ahving good food. While I applaud restauranteurs generally, I cannot support this one again.

John H.

Yelp
Surprisingly delicious--talk to waiter about what to order, in fact the little restaurant has attentive staff and a family atmosphere

James H.

Yelp
Wonderful restaurant. They treated us like family. Went for Mother's Day with party of 10. Table was ready when we got in. Food portions were very large and delicious. First time here, we will be back!

Linda N.

Yelp
This is a gem of a place. Authentic Italian food and friendly service. Very cute little place. Both in door and out door seating. Food is absolutely delicious! My husband and I ordered a pizza, meatball sub and the pasta Bolognese. Everything was spectacular!!! We will definitely be coming back!!!

John M.

Yelp
I've only had the spumoni ice cream but it was fantastic. It is very hard to find this type of ice cream anywhere and the price was very reasonable. I'll be going back even if just for the ice cream. Also there is plenty of free parking being the building

George H.

Yelp
Incredibly rude service. I ordered take out. Was given the wrong order. When I called back to tell them I was dismissed, told I was wrong tried to gaslight me into saying I placed a different order. I'm not insane I know what I ordered. Why would I order a dish I don't like. They then essentially told me to go f* myself. I'm now left with mediocre chicken picatta. Food is decent but don't expect good service because these people are rude and miserable. Get your food and get out.

Christine B.

Yelp
Holy cannoli! I can't believe that I used to drive past this place every day for work and I never stopped in. My friend and I were in Silver Spring and didn't want to deal with the nightmare of downtown SS for lunch. We decided on this spot, in a small strip of stores on Connecticut Ave right inside the beltway. The parking is in the back. The menu is extensive with both Greek and Italian items. I got the mushroom ravioli and my friend got the chicken pita. The ravioli filling wasn't bland like mushroom ravioli sometimes are. The wine cream sauce was not too heavy. The chicken pita platter was a great deal! Huge sandwich and generous sides. We couldn't leave without getting a cannoli. This is the real deal! I was tempted to buy some refrigerated food for later. I noticed they have air diverters over the AC vents so they don't blow right on you, which is a mark of a restaurant that listens to its customers.

Jamie S.

Yelp
Make your own judgement but this was our experience: 1. Didn't get our appetizer or bread basket - Waitress failed to write our order so likely forgot. But the bread?! Everyone else seated around us for it! 2. There was a hair in my chicken piccata 3. Couldn't tell anyone because no one came to check on us 4. Was disappointed that they used canned mushrooms 5. Had to go to the counter to get our check Ended up not finishing chicken so ate a slice of my sons pizza which was pretty good.

Ruchi S.

Yelp
I guess I had high expectations after seeing all the reviews but this place is very "ok". Very basic wine list and food. bruschetta wasn't tasty, very plain. Tzatziki needed salt. I got the Mediterranean pasta with salmon and it tasted like jar spaghetti sauce with vegetables...not at all flavorful. And the salmon was dry and over cooked. My friend enjoyed his chicken Parmesan but overall, very disappointed and would not go back again. It's also very casual inside, fyi. Server was very nice but food...

Sky G.

Yelp
If I could give 0 stars I would. The food is average at best, but the service? Good god. If there was an award for rudeness they would win with ease. Any request or slight inconvenience by a customer is met with incredulousness and anger. If you want actual service, avoid, avoid, avoid. And to the owners - why own a redo if you hate customers ordering your food. This makes no sense.

Diane G.

Yelp
A warm and delicious restaurant. It has a nice neighborhood feel. Service is spot on. Their marinara sauce is wonderful, making the dishes that have sauce great choices. My favorite is the eggplant parm that is perfectly made with thin slices and, sauce and mozzarella cheese. Very much like my Sicilian family's recipe. Ravioli is cooked Al dente as is the other pasta dishes. My only suggestion is to incudes pasta with eggplant parm. We have brought friends to this restaurant and had a magical evening. Every one was happily ordering different food .... and wine. The owners joined in adding to the fun. I recommend Manoli Canoli without reservation.

Patrick W.

Yelp
This was and is our favorite place in the world. We miss Nikkos still, but Meera is still at Manoli, which is great. We love the food and always have. Been going since 2009 or so. The owner, Stavros is a guy who takes his business very seriously and wants everything perfect. It's a quaint atmosphere, nothing fancy, but we actually love that. In addition to the food, we also love that we can olive oil direct from the source as the owner has a family olive farm back in the home land. Best olive oil we've ever had! We are a military family and when we were away from Maryland we really missed Manoli Canoli, but now we are back and we can't wait to keep coming back.

Danielle E.

Yelp
I'm so sad to write this review. Our go-to dish here was the lobster ravioli, which was now taken off the menu. Maybe through you yelpers asking about it, they may bring it back? Nonetheless, we love their cheese pizza. Their dough here reminds me of Pizza back home in Europe. The tomato sauce is not as acidic as most I've came across. Also I love that they have personal size one, though we always buy the large to take home leftovers. Since this place also serves Greek food, I always get the chicken souvlaki plate with our pizza. It comes with a side of fries and salad. Your plate will overspill and you won't be disappointed...or leave hungry. They also have their own olive oil, that they sell. Last visit, we got a bottle and it's our favorite olive oil to use for salads! They also have packed noodles and raviolis in the fridge aisle, ready for you to cook at home. Though it always taste more delicious here. Staff is nice, I think this is family owned and operated. The interior and exterior may not indicate for much what is inside, but please don't miss the opportunity for some great cheese pizza!

Monique W.

Yelp
Hit or miss on service when you come. Food is good, olive oil from the farm in Greece can not be matched. Service is really good when good and bad when bad. Do not order an appetizer and your entree at the same time because they prepare everything on the check. At the same time. Seriously, if you want dinner to go come here. If you want more than a rushed grab a pizza or pasta and enjoy dinner out, you are better off at some other restaurant that knows how to place orders in the kitchen, even Olive Garden does it better. So disappointed and can pass this by next time.

Jonathan K.

Yelp
The best food hands down, felt actually traditional Italian and really good for the price, they're amazing and even have their own olive oil. The service was great the ambiance gives me a legit Italian place type of vibe. I had their traditional spaghetti with meat sauce and we had their antipasti platter for appetizer amazing 100% authentic.

Georgia T.

Yelp
Food is pretty good but the service is absolutely awful. Inattentive, unfriendly, and unapologetic for multiple mistakes they made. Basically operate like a carry out place and begrudgingly allow people to eat in. Wouldn't return.

Mea A.

Yelp
Best place ever. The food is superb and the service is friendly. I will be back next time I am in Bethesda

Eric S.

Yelp
We frequently buy their fresh mozzarella to use at home. It is the best we have found nearby. We recently stopped in for dinner and it was superb. Tzatziki appetizer. Chicken kabobs were perfectly seasoned and cooked, not overcooked that can sometimes happen at other restaurants. And the moussaka was excellent. Warm bread. Plentiful parking behind the restaurant. Don't let the location or uninspired ambience deter you from a very satisfying meal.

Susan R.

Yelp
Manoli Canoli is a real neighborhood gem!!! Offering Greek and Italian cuisine plus appetizers, sandwiches, beer, wine and cocktails. And, don't forget the PIZZA!!! Truly fantastic pizza too. easy parking, reservations and great service...you can't go wrong.

Lynn B.

Yelp
We had been traveling all day and sat in traffic for hours and was excited for good food. the only reason there is a star is be side the food was delicious. the service... TERRIBLE. The owner was annoyed as soon as we arrived because she was the only server. I was a server most of my life.. yes that is stressful, but not your patrons fault. We sat and when she took our drink order rolled her eyes when my daughter ordered a Shirley tempme saying "I guess, I'm the only one here" again... we cant order what we want bc you are slammed? if she had said it differently we would have obviously been ok..Then she errored on my meal and I had to wait while my entire family ate... 20 mins later my food came. Again food was great. Oh and my child ordered soup for dinner, I asked for bread that comes with the soup and she said as she pointed to the empty basked that they brought right after we ordered...and said "that was the bread for the soup... you want more?" If you are reading this and are the owner... a bad night personally should not be reflected to the people coming into your establishment and paying... rule 1 of owning a restaurant.

Sandy J.

Yelp
Not the best Italian/Greek restaurant. All the food was very ordinary, little taste in their sauces. The tomato sauce was so watery I had to ask to have the plate drained. Sausage dish was 2 small pieces of meat cut in half length way to appear more. Not a fair deal for $15.00. If you want good Italian food go to an Italian restaurant. If you want Greek go to a good restaurant. There are plenty in the area.

Julie C.

Yelp
Their Chicken Souvlaki Sandwich is the most delicious and consistent lunch treat you will ever have! Grilled smokey chicken and just the right amount of Tzatziki on a perfect pita- truly a joy every time. Ignore the surly staff - just eat!

mattie m.

Yelp
The best way to describe this small restaurant is in two words: cozy and comforting. The restaurant was small but felt homey. It was accompanied with wonderful Italian food and great employees. We had a nice conversation with an employee. My family is looking forward to returning for another delicious meal at Christmas. My family was visiting from Texas last month and we rarely get to have an authentic Italian meal that is so memorable. I can certainly say this was one for the books! I highly recommend and hope only the best for the small, quaint restaurant.

Farhat K.

Yelp
I came here for this restaurants namesake and it was delicious. Walking into the store, it seemed like a nice place to grab some great Greek food but I was on a mission. I ordered two mini and two normal cannolis to take home and devoured them with my family. The filling was plentiful and perfectly sweet (even though a little dense tbh). They had chocolate chips on both ends which I love. The shell was less impressive and could've been slightly crunchier. Overall, I was satisfied since my sweet tooth was placated.

Mark E.

Yelp
Italian food does not get more than three stars from me, but I thought about it here. The location is easy to drive past, right by the Capital Beltway on Connecticut Avenue, with no obvious parking until you have driven past (its in the rear), but if you have the patience to circle back and park, Manoli Canoli is the Wysiwyg of Italian restaurants - what you see is what you get. They have a large menu of Italian and Greek specialties served in a small and understated dining room for prices that are quite affordable for the DC burbs on the Montgomery County side. Service was solid and ownership cares. Maybe Manoli Canoli is not the drive-to destination from afar, but they sated five hungry day-trippers homebound from a day at the Zoo with competence and confidence. Certainly there are many worse choices. And after the congestion at the Zoo, we rejoiced merely over their parking lot!

Steven R.

Yelp
If I could give less than 1 star I would. They forgot several items in our carry out order. And weren't very interested in fixing the situation. Stay clear of this place.

Katy C.

Yelp
Have eaten here twice and was disappointed both times. The first time ordered a pizza. Although I like a thin crust, the toppings were scant. The second time I I ordered the spanakopita and it tasted like it was frozen. The dining area is just a plain room with overhead lighting. Service is indifferent. Nothing special here.

Jeff H.

Yelp
Found this restaurant by accident about two years ago. They are now batting 7 for 7. The "Heavenly" Pizza is the BEST meat pizza in all of the D.C. area. The mushroom ravioli is also a great dish. What sets Manoli Canoli apart --- every time we have been there, the old fashioned "we are glad you are here" treatment - so rare these days. Thank you!

Alece R.

Yelp
I've gone here twice since the Pandemic began. Both times I ordered the same thing...Moussaka...omg! It was delicious beyond words. The waiter was very nice and proceeded to tell me and my friend how complicated making moussaka is. (I mentioned wanting to make it at home) I'll definitely be back and leave making this to the expert. Next time I'll save room for dessert.

Stacy T.

Yelp
The meals are overpriced for the quantity given. I got spaghetti, which solely tasted like olives- too many olives, even if you like every bit of it. My friend got cheese ravioli, which was way overpriced for the amount he got. They covered their meals with marinara sauce as if it would make up for the lack of actual food. Otherwise, service was good and they were very respectful and quick. It's a cute little place, but I probably wouldn't come back here again.

Libby F.

Yelp
This place has undergone some change recently. It used to be a quaint little Italian restaurant called Marcella's. Now with a new Italian name, I'm not sure this place knows what it wants to be. The lunch and dinner menu still offers pizzas and traditional Italian dishes such as linguini and spaghetti, but also includes Greek dishes such as spanakopita and mousaka as well as hot and cold sub sandwiches. I can't comment on these entrees since I was here for a traditional Sunday morning breakfast. My neighbor and I arrived around 10:15 and there was only one other couple seated in this small but cozy place. We both opted for omelets: mine a feta and spinach; my friend's a bacon and cheese. The wait felt like forever. My friend commented on whether they were waiting for the hen to lay the eggs or not. Our server seemed sedated; not very talkative or attentive as when we tried to get butter and water. Our omelets ($6.95-$8) were worth the wait, but nothing out of the ordinary. The homefries which accompanied them were nice and crisp. I plan to come back and try their spinach pie ($5.95) sometime, but I am picky as far as spinach pie goes... I guess it's worth a shot.

Yelp
Manoli Canoli has good Italian/Greek food with good portions at decent prices in Chevy Chase. Fined in around 5:30pm on Saturday night. They have about 4 high chairs in the restaurant in case you want to bring the little ones. The interior itself is very basic. There is one flat screen tv playing football, and otherwise tables with the take out counter at the back of the room. The room itself is small so if the restaurant was packed it may get a little loud. The owner is Greek and his sister was managing the restaurant when we were there. She was friendly and came over and talked to us for a min but was not too concerned with how we liked our food (she did not come back to check on us throughout the meal nor did the server for that matter) however when we asked for extra sauce it was brought right away (no extra charge) and when we did not like the wine (may have been an old bottle) they quickly gave us a taste of something else before choosing another selection. Definitely recommend trying the house wine first before ordering a carafe or glass (as you should do in all restaurants if they allow it). We ended up with the house cab which was better than the Chianti (maybe because the bottle was old but not sure). $18 for a half carafe which is about 3 glasses or so. We had to pour our own wine into the glass but I was ok with this. The waitstaff is generally hands off and not in your face which is kind of nice. We ordered the penne with eggplant and a small cheese pizza (without the parm cheese). The pasta was not homemade but the sauce and eggplant was very nicely done and had a good flavor to it (although it was a bit oily). The pasta comes with a bread basket that they bring out first. The bread is nice and hot but nothing special. The pizza has almost no sauce so definitely ask for extra sauce even if you want a normal amount of sauce. It did have a nice amount of cheese and the crust and flavor of the pizza overall was very nice. We did not try the dessert although others were ordering it for takeout orders. It looks like they do a good takeout business. I would suggest taking out their food if you are craving good Italian/Greek food. If you don't care about ambiance and prefer to eat out then dining in is ok. If Manoli Canoli improves their dining room by putting a fake fireplace on the tv, dimming the lights, maybe put some candles out, some tablecloths, then it would be a nice place to dine in. However if you are in the area or passing through and want some decent Italian/Greek food, order from Manoli Canoli!

Mary S.

Yelp
This was just the right place for a casual birthday dinner with old friends last night! My daughter and son-in-law love this place and highly recommended it. They especially enjoy the anti-pasta and pizza. Our waiter was really nice, and even offered to split a lasagna between my husband and I - without me asking! (Sometimes I feel awkward asking if we can share a dish). The lasagna was good! My son-in-law has very fond memories of going to this restaurant with his family. I'm so glad this restaurant is still here and the tradition lives on!

D. E.

Yelp
Awesome family environment with large serving portions at a very respectable price. Check out the lunch specials!

Stuart M.

Yelp
My wife and I had dinner here tonight. We shared a caesar salad that had a dressing which didn't taste like the proper dressing for a caesar. Then we had shrimp over linguini. There were 4 smallish shrimp over limp pasta with a poorly developed red sauce. $20. Way too expensive. My wife's dish was slightly better. Chopped eggplant, olives, slightly better red sauce, over slightly overcooked penne. A forgettable meal, hopefully.

Chris C.

Yelp
Very authentic small family Italian/Greek restaurant. I got their capadoccia pizza between a small and medium pizza $15. It was very delicious italian style pizza. It has anchovies, sausage, bell pepper, olives with a tomato sauce. I also got the spanakopita spinach with cheese in a phyllo wrapper as a appetizer it was really crunch and tasty. As dessert I got the Canoli, ricotta cream filling with chocolate chip and raspberry sauce drizzle. Highly recommend this restaurant the service was prompt and friendly.

S H.

Yelp
Wonderful food and service. I ordered on GrubHub based on the good Yelp reviews and when the GrubHub driver didn't have part of my order, was happily surprised and impressed when the restaurant said they had caught the mistake and already sent my piza with another driver, who showed up 5 minutes later and was one of the restaurant's own staff members. Other restaurants have made me wait up to an hour for forgotten items. On top of the great service, the food is outstanding. Fresh, homemade mushroom ravioli (some of the best pasta I've had outside of Italy), excellent quality EVOO on the Greek salad with fresh veggies and tasty feta, and delicious, pillow-y crust on the Chicago pizza. Desserts were great, too. I will definitely recommend to friends and visit the restaurant in person in the future. A+

Leonard A.

Yelp
Superb service! Food was fresh and tasted great! The atmosphere was quaint and pleasant! This place is a hidden gem. After dining there you're guaranteed to return. They really hit the mark on authentic food. A must t

Yelp
Adorable Italian eatery with friendly service and delicious dishes. - FOOD: The menu offers your standard spread of Italian dishes - antipasto, salads, pasta, sandwiches, and pizza. The mozzarella cheese and olive oil are among their homemade items. We started with their tzatziki (very thick and creamy, with olive flavoring) and pita appetizer. I had the eggplant parmesan sandwich, which comes with salad and french fries (please don't judge, I was carbo loading for a race ). The eggplant wasn't heavily fried, which I appreciated, and came topped with their homemade mozzarella and fresh basil. It was super filling, and tasty, so I consider it a good deal for $13. - FOR THE VEGGIES: Plenty of good options, from eggplant parmesan (sandwich or entree) to multiple pasta dishes to pizzas. - SERVICE: The service here was above and beyond. We arrived with my bike in tow (we were on our way to a triathlon), and the manager came out to help us find a place to store it. The servers were pleasant and quick, and they even presented us with a complimentary canoli in the shape of a trophy to wish me luck on my race! - ATMOSPHERE: This is a small, intimate, and casual eatery. It's pretty quiet, but will fill up quickly around peak mealtimes.

Yelp
I'm only taking off a star because the Caesar Salad was like lettuce. That's what it tasted like... lettuce. My beloved Caesar dressing was nowhere to be found. Now my Lobster pasta. OH MY GOSH! THEE BEST! I asked for some bread to sop up the rest of the cream. If you get this dish, just go on ahead and ask for some bread because you'll need it. At first glance looking at this dish, even my dude commented that I'm going to need to order something else as it won't be enough to satisfy my appetite. his dish was huge as well (too much meat and the flavor was aight) and he needed some bread to go with his. They should make bread a prerequisite for creamy dishes such as this. I doubt I'll go back, only because I've never been to that area and don't really have any plans to go back. Plus with the hundreds of restaurants in the DMV, why would I venture to the same one??? I believe our service was great only because the server kept cooing at our baby. She's normally our ticket to good service. No, really.. I've been to a place alone and received subpar service. The next time I went with my baby she was all smiles, greetings and salutations. If you haven't been, it's worth going to at least once. If you're local, I'd favorite this as a spot for Italian food.

Yelp
I drive by here regularly, and for years thought it was just a bakery. A while back I dropped in at dinner hour, and was surprised (pleasantly) to see what was definitely NOT just a bakery. Delightful family run Greek/Italian restaurant with comfortable atmosphere, and reasonable prices. Now I plan my trips to Kensington so I can stop in here to eat on the way back. Two things I always see here are regular customers, and at least one "reserved:" sign, so it is probably a local favorite, and deservedly so. Service is friendly, down-to-earth, and prompt. Menu is expansive, but not overwhelming, all the staples (and then some) are here. I usually have salad (always fresh) and one of their delicious pastas, which are probably made on-site. Wonderful meat lasagna that does NOT over do it on the cheese. Delicious spinach ravioli, with walnut sauce, out of this world. Do NOT miss the green beans as a side item, authentic Greek style with the light tomato sauce. Glad I finally discovered this secret gem, I never miss a chance to eat here now.

Yelp
The food here is DELICIOUS! The space is very small, maybe only 10 tables or so in here. Its family oriented and the prices are fair. I ordered the veil picotta and the flavor was amazing, the veil was cooked perfectly and they even gave me a side of pesto which I asked for. They have canoli's but Im too stuffed to try one! One of the employees just brought us out a canoli for it being our first time here! It is one of the best desserts Ive ever had. I always thought they were cheesey but this was very good and not overly sweet!

Yelp
Went there for lunch the other day. It was delicious and the staff was super attentive and kind. I had a yummy pasta and my husband had an amazing pizza. Looking forward to eating there again!
