Best tiramisu I’ve had in a long time. The owner is extremely friendly and the ice cream is also delicious! This place is a must go for dessert if you’re south of Austin.

I recently visited this ice cream food truck, and I was amazed by its spaciousness and inviting atmosphere. The addition of board games and a heated room during winter made it a cozy spot to enjoy ice cream. I opted for the mango and soursop flavors wrapped in a waffle, and they did not disappoint - fresh and delicious! The customer service was outstanding, and with a wide variety of options made from fresh fruits sourced from Colombia, there's something for everyone to enjoy. They also have a big parking lot. Highly recommended for a delightful ice cream experience! They have renovated this location. There are a couple of food trucks nearby.

Hands down the best ice cream place ever. That itself says a lot. Such a beautiful mom and pop ice cream place, hand made ice cream with unbelievable delicious flavors filled with so much love. We come here at least once a week if not more times. Pastries too, delish. Don’t miss out on checking this place.

How did I not this place earlier? It is AMAZING! The ice cream is absolutely delicious! THIS IS what ice cream should taste like! The best I have had in a very long time and certainly the best of all Austin and region! It’s evident this is a result of the hardworking family who owns the place and make everything from scratch. I feel safer knowing they don’t put junk in the food and that everything is made with love and care. The results speak for itself. The passion fruit flavor … it’s divine. I will bring everyone here! Keep up with the awesome work!

Manolis Ice Cream, Pops, Sorbet & More is a hidden gem in Austin. The spacious outdoor area and ample parking make it a great spot for a relaxed outing. Their ice cream is top-notch—creamy, flavorful, and well worth a visit. If you’re looking for high-quality treats in a comfortable setting, this is definitely one of the best ice cream shops in town. Highly recommend!

Google
Great little spot. It's kinda hidden off 290. We stopped in after dinner in Oak Hill. This spot is amazing. The nice Italian woman took our complicated order and helped us through the ordering process. We walked away to play some giant Connect 4 thinking that our order would take a while to make. Everything came out super quick. It seemed like 2 minutes later she had all 4 orders ready. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere is fun for the kiddos but also kind of a relaxing vibe. The misters are a nice touch too since it was hot outside.

Google
Delicious icecream, wonderful and kind service, awesome dog friendly atmosphere with heaters in the cold and fans in the heat. Plenty of space for kids to run and plenty of tables for everyone. No worries about having to save a table while you're in line. Stay in line together! Romantic lighting. Just perfect! ❤️

Manolis Ice Cream - Pastries - Sorbet - Pops - Located in Austin Texas…This is a family owned & operated business & it’s AMAZING!!! The owners are from Colombia & both were there working serving all the guests…It’s a very popular place for sure! You have to visit this wonderful business! It’s pet friendly, date friendly & family friendly! You walk into this fenced area & feel like you’re literally in their back yard, with beautiful trees, tables with umbrellas, misters, lights & plenty of parking. Lots to do for kids & adults too! So glad we went there! I ordered the watermelon sorbet, my husband got Rum ice cream & our friend got mango & papaya ice cream! They were ALL so good! You have to visit Manolis in Austin! Yelp
We went this past Friday on a whim but Manolis had been on my list of restaurants/food places to check out for a while. It's located way down south and we live way up north so it was such a drive especially when there is so much construction going on in the area. LOCATION/AMBIANCE: This dessert food truck with Italian flair has a huge outdoor space with so many picnic tables, a play scape/kid area, and it's also dog friendly. I really like that they decorated their outdoor space with string lights which makes it more whimsical at night. We didn't dress appropriately that night (thanks to Texas temperamental weather), but luckily they have commercial heaters everywhere, even under the umbrellas at some of the tables. I have to give them a big round of applause for that They also have men & women bathrooms (3 stalls in women's) which is really nice. By the way, there are other food trucks behind Manolis's premise as well so you get to check out other food in one location. SERVICE: The owners are very friendly, and their service was fast and efficient. FOOD/DESSERTS: We ordered a lot so that it would make it a worthwhile trip. - ESPRESSO, and MACCHIATO. A MUST!!! I love the fact that he asked us if we like sugar in our drinks, and if so we want light, medium or regular sweet. I wouldn't expect that at all from a dessert food truck like this, this's a plus for me!! THEIR COFFEES are one of the BEST COFFEES I ever had - the strength was solid but the smoothness though was legendary Mamma Mia The only regret was I should have asked what beans they use We also ordered both of their pastries of the week. - CROCANTINO (chocolate sponge cake & chocolate mousse with almond & chocolate shell) - it was not bad, and I really like the chocolate mousse. - FRAGOLA (vanilla sponge cake & mousse with strawberry filling) - it was okay; the cake itself was dry hadn't there were filling or mousse and we didn't taste the strawberry filling at all. - SALTED CARAMEL ICE CREAM - it was creamy & delicious with a hint of salted caramel. - RUM RAISIN ICE CREAM - it was also delicious but the flavor profile was so subtle. All in all, if you haven't tried this place, I would highly recommend it. This's a place for the whole family can enjoy the desserts and outdoors (day or night) together.

Yelp
Manolis understood the assignment in this heavy-hot TX weather. Impressed with the range of flavors and the refreshing taste--you just know it's fresh ice cream. Felt brave and got the soursop/guayabano flavor. Think a mix of vanilla and mango for those unfamiliar with the exotic fruit. They also offer pastries, and got us a serving of tres leches. The place was huge, clean, and family friendly. Enjoyed this ice cream food truck and their customer service is the cherry on top.

Ellie N.

Yelp
Quality ice cream in a nice food park. The coconut ice cream is above and beyond. There's plenty of coconut meat inside. It's not too sweet. Overall a very good experience. I'll be back

Marissa G.

Yelp
After finding Manolis online and seeing all of the options my family decided to give it a try. We drove into the food park and found parking easily. We walked around and found the Manolis food truck. It was hot outside but the area around the food truck had plenty of shaded areas with water misters spraying which helped with keeping cool. We walked right up to the ordering window and were greeted by the person taking our order with a smile. He was very friendly and patient as we decided what we wanted. My husband paid and then waited by the pick up window. After a few minutes our order was ready. My husband tried the blue raspberry Italian ice with vanilla ice cream. I tried the piña colada ice pop, one of my teens chose mint chocolate chip ice cream and the other chose maple walnut ice cream. Everyone really liked their choice of a cold sweet treat. I wasn't sure what to expect from my piña colada ice pop but was pleasantly surprised. It was very good. It was made with fresh fruit and it was non dairy. It was very creamy and soft which made it easy to eat. It was a nice outdoor place for a cool treat on a hot day. I'd return in the future just to try other menu items.

Yelp
Amazing. We didn't even know this ice cream spot was so close to us! After asking for help to cure a crazy ice cream craving, neighbors point us to manoli's. We love that they have parking, shade, and a cute little play scape for children. All the ice cream, pastries, and juices are made from scratch! They have a ton of things that look so good and will definitely be tried! Samples are offered! The owners are very generous, warm, and kind! We can't wait to support this awesome local business again.

Anoop I.

Yelp
Pistachio, mango, coconut, chocolate and dulce de leche were all excellent. Even for my foodie wife who holds ice cream and gelato to a high standard. Friendly service, beautiful outdoor location.

Rachel G.

Yelp
This is a super cute spot with plenty of outdoor tables and space, bathrooms, a very small play set, and even a play basketball hoop! The ice cream is definitely the way to go here. Cakes are dry and not very good, including the tiramisu. Service is incredibly friendly. We will definitely come back for the ice cream, although pricey.

Yelp
Kid friendly with slides and play area Ice cream and sorbet were close to the best I have had, super creamy and the sorbet not overly sugary (real fruit). Awesome vibe and amazing people behind the counter. Going to be our new go to spot!

Diego A.

Yelp
Very refreshing Italian ice. Lemon flavor is delicious! The place is big and plenty of seating and shade. They even have water misters and fans all around. The server cared enough to get the order right, and they got it out quickly and together.

Nabeeha Q.

Yelp
After being coerced to go here with promises that it would "change my life" I had high expectations for Manoli's ice cream truck. Thankfully, these claims were grounded in some truth, the ice cream was wonderful (although I'm not sure if it was life changing). This place is a good 9/10, I would recommend going here. However, this was the last day they were at this location, so keep an eye out for where they move to. ------------ I had a passion fruit ice cream bar, which was delicious but I wish the passion fruit flavor was stronger 8/10. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their ice cream, I was also pretty full at the time so I opted for something lighter, I feel like I would've liked their other options more.

Amelia S.

Yelp
Our neighbors in Oak Hill recommended this place to try, and I'm so glad we did! The nicest people serving the best ice cream (mine with espresso poured on top) and the most lovely setting, can't wait to go again!

Tiffany H.

Yelp
My new favorite ice cream place in Austin - possibly ever?? No frills, just good creamy ice cream with solid & well done flavors. My favorite so far is probably the mango! This family owned business is always so welcoming! There's other food trucks around with picnic tables outside to eat at. My only grievance is that it's only open on weekends :( Overall, a great place for a sweet treat and catching up with a friend.

Eric G.

Yelp
This place has five stars for a reason, just wish it were open more days!! They have so many different types of ice creams, Italian ice, sorbets, popsicles, pastries, shakes, juices and affogatos... Seriously any flavor you can think of and more. Basically, if it's open and you want dessert, go here and you'll find something for you, and it'll be delicious :)

Yelp
I live in NYC but am in Austin for June/July and one of my favorite things about this city is the food...and the space, but mostly the food. Having a craving for cakes (I read an article in the NYTimes about how NYC is having a "cake renaissance" and apparently I am, too), Yelp informed me about a cute place called Manolis. Ten minutes later, we were parking in their lot. FOOD --- there are so many delicious cakes available that it was VERY hard to pick. I went with the Black Forest Cake and it was SO good, but honestly there was also a Tres Leches that was calling my name. I will get it next weekend (FYI: it's only open Fri, Sat, and Sun!). I only ate half (saving the other half for today!) because I also got the coconut ice cream. Okay I know coconut is a very divisive flavor but THIS WAS SO DELICIOUS. It had little bits of coconut shreds in it which was such a treat. Highly recommend. VIBE --- there wasn't that many people when we got there around 7ish which was perfect but by the time we left, it had gotten pretty crowded. There's tons of benches to sit on, as well as fans and water mists? Is that what you call them? It felt like a vacation. There's are tons of fun games around the outside space...connect four (where I kicked my fiancé's ass) and this game called Hook 21 (which I hadn't heard of before) and hopscotch and cornhole. It was the perfect Sunday. Definitely going back to try the other goodies.

Samantha G.

Yelp
I expected to walk up to a basic food truck lot like all the others in Austin but Manoli's was in their own lot and it was beautiful! Fenced off with lots of tables and space for kids to run around plus a huge parking lot. The ice cream is all homemade and delicious, I got the chocolate peanut butter and was craving it the next day. The best part was the service though. The owners were so friendly, sweet, and patient! Highly recommend.

Andrew S.

Yelp
Great treat stop! Plenty of space to enjoy a treat on a nice sunny day. Home made ice cream, sorbet, and lots of other tasty selections.

Angela H.

Yelp
I am new to Austin and am lucky enough to live a stone's throw away from Manolis. We have gone 5 times since moving so it's finally time for a review! Manolis is genuinely my favorite spot in Austin. First, they have a wonderful variety of sweet treats. From ice cream (dairy and non dairy), to pastries, sorbets, milkshakes, and coffee, there is truly something for everyone. Everything we have ordered has been absolutely delicious. Second is the service. There are few places I have been where I feel more welcome than Manolis. They are passionate about what they serve and make every person who comes through feel like a regular. The owners are genuinely some of the kindest people I have had the pleasure of meeting in Austin and they deserve business. Third is the location! Can be tough to get around the 290 construction but Manolis is worth every minute of your time. The complex has covered picnics tables, heaters, games, and a playground. It's cozy, charming, and a great place to sit on a beautiful night. If you are on the southwest side, GO TO MANOLIS. If you live in Central Texas, GO TO MANOLIS. Heck, if you live in Oklahoma, it's worth the trip. They are open Friday-Sunday and I look forward to their tasty treats all week. I will support this business for as long as I live here!

Justice R.

Yelp
They just relocated and oh my gosh! This place has so much seating and is great for a party or a date night. The customer service every time is above and beyond. They make you feel like home by the atmosphere and the dessert! Our favorite to get here is still the same, Passion Fruit w/ Cookies & Cream. Cant stress enough for how happy we are for this family owned business and their expansion.

Michelle Y.

Yelp
If you're in the mood for ice cream, you have to stop by Manoli's. The ice cream here is super creamy, and I highly recommend getting the mango flavor. I've also tried their chocolate cake and am impressed by how rich it is. Even if you're not a big fan of ice cream, you'll definitely leave with a happy stomach after trying out one of their other desserts. The people who work/own the truck are also so kind. The service here is great !

Tanushri S.

Yelp
Loved everything here! The family that owns the place is so sweet and accommodating. It's very dog and kid friendly. I wish the spot was closer to the city. But definitely worth the drive. Check out their ice creams for sure! So silky and yum!!

Stella M.

Yelp
Sweet little spot with friendly service, yummy treats, and a little playground for kiddos. So close to the Austin Zoo too!

tyler b.

Yelp
Food was out of this world. And the customer service stellar they were so nice and pleasant to talk to. Awesome incredible gelato and other desserts especially their ice cram so much yum just yeah great. Love it.

Lyndsey S.

Yelp
Still my favorite dessert hot spot. What tops the desserts are the owners. They're always there with a smile and happy to pass out samples. Every conversation they have feels like they're old friends and they've welcomed you with open arms into their home. I finally got something different than the cakes which are my favorites. I had a shake and I was told I could mix two flavors. Chocolate and cookies and cream were my choices. The perfect combo for that chocolate need. Smooth too. I drank it so fast! My kids had the Italian ice and their eyes rolled back. Also so smooth and not chunky ice like some places have. They couldn't believe how delicious it was. Oh, and the brownies! Flaky top, warm right out of the oven, perfectly chewy and yet soft at the same time. I had half and wanted to have the next half later. So good! I love their location. It got pretty tight at the old one trying to find parking and then always speeding cars. Now they're under shady trees and pavilions. There's games for kids and the picnic tables are at a perfect height for everyone. I'm surprised how often I find places with awkward heights that are great for kids but then adults have to uncomfortably try to sit properly. You can get stuck just trying to leave and nearly falling out. These aren't like that. They're painted too so no splinters. Love the service, ambiance, music playing, soft lights, and last but not least, the desserts. Everything is made from scratch and love and you can taste it in every single bite!

Emilee L.

Yelp
Incredible service, inviting play area, open late, lovely tables and seating. There's even a covered patio! 10/10.

Eddie B.

Yelp
An amazing family run ice cream shop. Authentic flavors and desserts comprise the very extensive menu and prices are reasonable. Will definitely come again.

Slavizza G.

Yelp
If you are intro true French bakery this is it, pastries are delicious and the portions are perfect, great hot chocolate my personal favorite is the crocante , and it's a family owned business the Food truck is located in a dog friendly patio

Tara M.

Yelp
We were in town for the weekend and wanted to grab some dessert after dinner. This place was wonderful! The staff was friendly and even offered our pup a little treat to enjoy. I got the Black Forest cake and it was so moist! They had plenty of space and places to sit. It was also nice they had plenty of heaters around as well as it was a brisk night. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area, we will be back!

Meredith F.

Yelp
Delicious! I had both the tiramisu ice cream and the tiramisu dessert and both were devine! The tiramisu dessert was actually my favorite. It had so much flavor!!! Please come support this business!

Vanessa G.

Yelp
Hands down my favorite local ice cream truck/shop. I always make it a point to bring visitors and family when folks come into town. I'm not a big sweets person in general, but this place has something for everyone! My favorite is their wide array of fruit-based ice creams that are absolutely magical. They're tart and sweet but, not too sweet. Ugh. There are no words. And to sweeten the deal even more, the owners from Colombia are some of the friendliest and sweetest people I've ever met. They make it easy to spend any bit of extra money I might have to get dessert. I haven't driven out to their new location yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing their new spot!

Jeffrey Y.

Yelp
The tiramisu and ice cream is great. The truck is open Fri-Sun 4pm, and ingredients are made on the spot the other days! I came to this place after Loro (overeating there), so I only sampled a bit. The deliciousness I sampled was delicious. My friends and I saw a cat nearby, chilling under a table. Highlight of our night.

Gabrielle H.

Yelp
My friends and I were visiting from Houston and craving dessert after a sushi/ramen dinner. After a search on Yelp we decided to give this place a try. At first we were alittle skeptical of the location, but we still decided to take the chance and were so glad we did. We got there 10 minutes before closing and Natacha greeted us with warm smiles and told us a bit about the restaurant and her background. We were able to sample a few ice cream flavors and ended up getting bananas foster, cookie dough, and Dulce de leche milkshakes and a an almond cake. Everything was amazing and the patio was so cute. Definitely a nice place for a date night or ice cream with the family. We will definitely make this a priority stop when visiting Austin again.

Kaitlin O.

Yelp
I've heard rave reviews on this place but I don't understand the hype. Sure the ice cream was really good and creamy, but not good enough where I would pay $10 for 4 tiny scoops. I did really like how they had a really wide selection of flavors and some unique fruit ones as well. The passion fruit and mango flavors were probably my favorite. I do hear that their pastries and cakes are stellar so I will probably come back to try those.

Cash W.

Yelp
Good was amazing and the service was impeccable! Best ice cream I have ever had bar none

Wade L.

Yelp
Awesome atmosphere and friendly staff. Hot chocolate is excellent and everything is made right there. Something for everyone!

Sheema S.

Yelp
This ice cream truck is a wonderful spot to check out if you're craving something late at night. I believe they are open Fri-Sun from 6-11 pm. They have variety of flavors and all super rich in taste. Their pastries are exquisite!

Lance O.

Yelp
This place is a gem! Must support local! The atmosphere and the quality of the ice cream is top notch! Not too mention these are the sweetest people who work here! Grab a gelato or an Italian ice! Super fresh and lots of stuff to do for kids!

Shane R.

Yelp
Best ice cream in town. Awesome facility with fun games and room for kids to run around. Staff is super nice. Definitely worth checking out!

Anya Z.

Yelp
Super glad we stopped by this cute food truck plaza while in South Austin! I was looking forward to the pistachio and passion fruit ice cream flavors but once we sat down, I appreciated the Italian ice a lot more because it was more refreshing and not as heavy. The ice creams are THICKk and creamy. Very friendly owners and will let you try samples! Someone was wrapping up their live music set when we arrived. Seems like a cute spot to frequent!

Jennifer H.

Yelp
Super fresh and delicious ice cream! The raving Yelp reviews are not wrong. I'm so glad I was able to try Manoli's during a recent visit to Austin because it was truly one of the best ice cream I've ever had. I had their cookies & cream and pistachio, and both were so good! Honestly I'm sure you can't go wrong with any of their flavors. Manoli's is definitely the spot for dessert. Although I didn't get to try anything else, they offer a variety of items such as Italian ice, ice pops, pastries, and drinks. I'm already thinking about planning another trip to Austin just to visit Manoli's again!

Ishan G.

Yelp
This is the best dessert place in the world! Yes, that's right. Everything we have tried here is better than the best. Our top picks are the Dark Cacao, Black Forest and Tiramisu pastries. Do not hesitate to try anything that you can get your hands on (they sell out pretty fast). WHave also tried the sorbets and ice creams and I must say that this is a hidden gem that deserves a special recognition. And the best part, this dessert trip won't burn a hole in your pocket. Enjoy! Update: the new location is amazing!

Luisa S.

Yelp
MANOLIS te amissssss! We loved loved loved this place. We came from out of town and wanted to support our fellow Colombians and so glad we did. We got: - Guanabana ice cream (soursop) - Maracuyá ice cream (passion fruit) - cookies and cream ice cream - coffee ice cream - Brownie Yum yum yum to all! Especially the amazing Colombian fruits: guanabana and maracuyá! We did a full day food tour of Austin and this was probably the highlight. We loved meeting Manuel (MANOLIS) the owner and his wife!

Anna S.

Yelp
Lovely food truck - in fact probably the most adorable food truck I've ever seen. Just the way it's set up and the way the desserts are on display - it almost feels like a little shop instead of a food truck. It's located conveniently in a food truck plaza so there are outdoors seatings and food places you can pick from if you find yourself hungry. I'm amazed by how many different types of desserts/flavors they are able to offer. I had a difficult time deciding what to order. We ended up with the Crocantino cake and the Lulo passion & mango sorbet. The cake was delicious and guilty... almost taste like a chocolate ice cream bar. You've got the crunch of the chocolate & nuts and the softness of the mousse... but no ice cream. I like the lulo passion and mango pairing because one is sour and the other is sweet. The staff (who I think is the owner) was so friendly. You are still able to sample the ice cream/sorbet flavors before ordering. If you were to ask him for recommendations though - he would tell you "EVERYTHING IS GOOD". So yeah - you're on your own. I cannot emphasize enough how adorable and unique this place is. I'm lactose intolerant and this place has dairy free options! It's a desserts heaven for everyone :) Highly recommend everyone to come support this business. I will definitely be here again next time I'm in town.

Christen S.

Yelp
Fantastic ice cream and a beautiful, shaded courtyard with misters and music. My family had strawberry ice cream in a cone and it was so creamy and sweet but not too sweet. We also had cookies n cream. 10/10 would recommend. Also the owners are so kind, welcoming and offer samples for any flavors you would like to try.

Tom V.

Yelp
Great ice cream, friendly service, and a fun environment. I went with my wife but it would have been a great place to take the family when we were younger

Polani L.

Yelp
Such a cute little ice cream truck. The ice cream is definitely home made. The kids loved their Guava and cookies and cream ice cream. I chose the Guava sorbet which wasn't too sweet but refreshing. I appreciated the owner making me sample the vegan ice cream before ordering bc I don't like coconut base in my ice cream. Haha.

Tyrel R.

Yelp
Some of the best ice cream I have ever had! The service was outstanding. So friendly, and you can tell they care about their craft of hand made goods. The area is friendly and inviting or the whole family. So thankful we found this sweet spot to relax and enjoy food and friends. Worth the trip.

Derrick B.

Yelp
This was the best experience I've ever had from a dessert establishment...! Great area...fantastic vibes...nighttime is really relaxing...and the delicious treats! This is a must when visiting Austin!

Nina T.

Yelp
Food truck with wide seating space! The presentation is so cute. You can see all the flavors, watch them prepare the orders. The choices are sooo many! I chose a tiramisu popsicle and a small size cup of ice cream. It was a hard choice because there is also tiramisu flavored ice cream and tiramisu cake. How does one make the choice?? I have an answer.. To be back and try more because it's great flavor and not too sweet!

Sergey S.

Yelp
The new location is awesome, plenty of space and parking! The ice cream better than anything you can find in a 20 mile radius! And don't forget get to take a cake to go...
