Mansons Lot Coffee House

A really chill cafe with nice food and atmosphere. Jazz music is played, and the seats are comfy. The omelette is really nicely cooked, with crab meat and spinach filling. Toast and salad are served on the side, and I can add more side dishes like the smoked salmon and wild mushrooms. The coffee is good too, it has a nice nutty flavour.

This small restaurant is hidden at the end of the street. I have visited it twice. The menu has a wide variety of dishes, each with its own unique characteristics. The roast beef with new potato salad was tasty with crispy fried potatoes and other ingredients were fresh, but the beef had tendons that slightly affected the taste. On the other hand, the spaghetti bolognese was a highlight - the rich cheese and savory sauce complemented the perfectly cooked pasta, making it a highly recommended choice. Seared scallop risotto with beetroot brought a unique flavor combination, balancing the earthy flavor of the beetroot with the delicate sweetness of the scallops. In addition, the quinoa avocado smoked salmon salad was fresh and nutritious, and the portion was also generous. For those who like low-key comfort and have high standards for food, the restaurant's dish selection is definitely worth exploring.

Look at this omelette, I wonder how many eggs they used in making such a fluffy and tasty omelette. We chose smoked salmon and buffalo cheese for the filling, and it was just as good as we imagined. Nachos were super crunchy and yummy, definitely recommend adding bit of the spicy sauce to it! The two drinks were milky and smooth, and the penne was cooked perfectly. Wanna visit again soon!

I went here to dinner today with friend. The omelette is good and delicious 🤤 and the spaghetti 🍝 is nice too. Recommend to friend who which to enjoy quality time, coffee/beer and food.

Had higher expectation on the food as some of the comments went as far as “excellent” or “extremely delicious”, but turn out we really could not agree. I do admire the plating, you could see they have put thoughts on it; but the overall food quality is very so-so. The texture of the lasagna was way way way too soft, the beef quality was average so it was rather bland, the sauces weren’t done quite well either. The tart desserts have rooms for improvement, the chocolate filling wasn’t too bad, the lemon flavour was way too light, the tart shell was too soft. Regrettably wasn’t too big a fan of the drinks either. I think the place has potential, but we are not likely to revisit.

Brunch/cafe place in Wan Chai with various food selection. The burger was pretty good and juicy although we think it can be a bit bigger. The coffee is unfortunately a bit too bitter to our liking, especially the hot americano. The iced one is not as bitter but not a lot of flavour going on. Food is definitely better than the coffee. The atmosphere is nice and quiet and the staff are helpful and kind!

Ordered up the salmon Benedict and a cappuccino. Tasty and great coffee. Very quaint but have a feeling it gets crowded so came at a lucky time, 11 bells. Gotta love the album covers!!!
