Manta - Review - Wynwood - Miami - The Infatuation

"The food at Manta isn’t bad, but just know that two bowls of ceviche (and a side of tostones) will cost about $100. Definitely avoid the cebiche a la brasa, which is an incomprehensible $42. The chunks of grilled octopus are overcooked and there aren’t enough tentacles in here to justify the price. We prefer their cebiche manta. It swims in a cilantro leche de tigre and is topped with fried calamari. For $28, it’s less egregious than the other ceviche, and does the trick for a slightly overpriced Wynwood lunch break." - Mariana Trabanino

The menu is cool and offers a lot of healthy options, which I appreciated. The place has a great vibe, and I’m excited to return. While the service was generally good, I think there’s room for improvement—tables could use a bit more attention, like double-checking if customers want another round of drinks and confirming orders to avoid any mix-ups. I’ll definitely give this place another shot. Supporting local businesses with love!

The yummiest Peruvian cuisine! We tried so many different dishes and everything was really flavorful. The drinks were great and the service is stellar! Definitely would love to come back here again!

Really great Peruvian food. We enjoyed every dish we ordered. The mahi ceviche tacos are outstanding. My favorite dish was the rice with seafood. I'd go back to have that dish alone. The service is great. The room is bright and airy. The restaurants is a block away from the murals which makes for a nice walk after the meal.

Food is so good I had to come here twice before leaving. The mahi mahi tacos are amazing. I devoured a whole plate. The risotto and steak is good. Not my fave but filled with flavor. It’s a bit more heavy on the stomach with the humid Florida weather. The grilled mahi mahi with mushroom sauce and spinach mashed potatoes is my absolute favorite. Fish was cooked perfectly. The mushroom sauce is too good. The ravioli with the squash is good. It is a sweeter palate than savory but still delicious. The waitstaff are super nice and pay attention. The venue is huge and clean. The Peruvian beer tasted great with the corn nuts they serve.

I’m so surprised how great the food was, Angela was so kind to me and my friend and recommend us certain plates since she’s from Peru. Love it will come back more! The food was great and even my medium rare meat for the pasta was cooked exactly right

We celebrated my wife’s birthday at Manta in Wynwood, and everything was absolutely perfect. We were a large party of 16 people, and the experience exceeded all expectations. The food was spectacular — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. What truly made the night unforgettable was the outstanding service from Amparo. She was amazing — attentive, fast, and made sure every single guest felt comfortable and well taken care of. Handling such a big table is never easy, but she did it flawlessly. We come to Manta often and always make it a goal to try something new from the menu — and once again, everything we ordered was delicious. And of course, their Pisco Sours are the best in the city — not only are they incredibly tasty, but also perfectly strong, just the way they should be. Honestly, this is one of the best Peruvian restaurants in Miami. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous spot with a beautiful seating area and very clean surroundings. The menus are some of the best I’ve seen, with visuals for every item that made choosing so much easier. We Ordered: Taco de Cebiche, Tataki Ahumado de Atún (octopus and tuna), and Acevichqdo Maki roll. The food was excellent, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The service was a little slow, but we didn’t mind too much. They do add an automatic 20% tip, so perhaps that affects the pace since the tip isn’t tied to service quality. Overall, a great experience and I’d definitely come back to try more dishes.

If you’ve been searching for a restaurant with exceptional food, service, and ambiance, you cannot skip out on Manta in Wynwood. José did an incredible job recommending dishes and drinks that were out of this world. He made sure we were well taken care of throughout the experience. Quite literally everything was perfection, and if you have a taste for perfection, look no further.
