Where to Eat Breakfast in Tijuana Right Now | Eater San Diego

"Started by chef Pedro Velarde from The Cottage in La Jolla, this breakfast and brunch hotspot in the Hipodromo neighborhood combines SoCal brunch trends with Baja flair. The decadent French toast is among the most popular items along with the bottomless mimosas." - Mario A. Cortez

We went for brunch and they had a good selection of food. Overall the food was pretty good and great price. We had The Classic (Eggs, bacon, ham potatoes, french toast, toast, 1 mimosa) Chilaquiles with steak and avocado 1 mimosa. All that was about $58 The service was really great and fast. THey also have a birthday special that on your birthday month, you get a complimentary dish, slice of cake, and non alcoholic drink, with purchase of another Dish. Ill definitely go again

Mantequilla is a great restaurant to have a relaxing breakfast or brunch! There will be usually a 30 minute wait to sit down but it’s well worth it. The food taste fresh and is full of flavor, I recommend the chipotle chilaquiles with avocado. Coffee is okay, but the drinks are very good

Great flavor best lobster omelette or lobster Benedict around amazing French toast and army of servers food comes out pretty quick pretty hot always tasty. If you don't get there when they open you're going to wait but it's so worth it. Most places that offer lobster omelettes have just enough lobster to say that it's there these are stuffed with fresh succulent lobster. I found that the only thing I think is lacking is the Chili's and salsas but the food itself and drinks are great. mimosas by the pitcher as well as beermosas after 10:00 a.m. are a must to try! Customers on a Sunday morning look like they walked out of a fashion show.

Upscale brunch place, but the food is actually delicious and affordable. They are famous for their French Toast which lives up to the hype, so yummy! The service is also great, but be prepared for a very long wait because this place is very popular.

Great food the portions are enough to share. I had birraquilles and they’re delicious. You have to try the French toast the walnut and apple are mouthwatering goodness 😋

I usually love Mantequilla, so this is hopefully a one-off. Went to breakfast, a party of 4. We had birriakiles (2), an omelette that they substituted the egg whites for whole eggs, and an order of avocado toast, my daughter requested the ricotta be swapped by panela and they stated no substitutions. Maybe the ugly Xmas sweater had our server in a foul mood, but there is a nice way to convey information. As a heads-up: skip the matcha here it's foul. The highlight of our visit was the Oui bakery, I had their heavenly Guava roll, which they sell out of.

went here after a night of debauchery with my date. we were hungover and hungry looking for some life-giving brunch to start the day. found this place on Google maps, good reviews, came here around 945 and got seated right away. we started off with mimosas which were 8/10 rating. then had a blueberry filled cinnamon roll that was 8/10 a little sweet for me. I ordered the grand slam with extra bacon and eggs. I asked for over easy but they made it over medium. My date got the birriarancheros and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Then i finished it off with a coffee. Food was 8/10 everything else was 9/10. Overall 8.5/10

Food wasn’t that great tbh. Potatoes were the best thing ok my plate. (Gran Eslam) We also ordered the S’more’s French Toast and it didn’t had a lot of ganache. Mocha coffee was strong not so chocolatey.
