Manu's Tacos - Review - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Manu’s Tacos is the sister spot to Manu’s Bodega and Gold Bar, so you know that you’re in good hands here with chicken tinga, pineapple pork, beef birria, or vegetables piled into tortillas. They’re also selling homemade horchata, hibiscus tea, and taco kits that feed up to six people if you have a large household. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

We book Manu’s taco truck for our employees to have hot food for Black Friday. Marin and her team were so amazing! Communication was very clear and accommodating. The food...DELICIOUS!!! Gave me a little taste of home (Texas tacos). The day of the event her team came on time and stayed pretty much all day. Our employees raves about the food and how the service was excellent. At the end of our time, Manu’s team left any of the left over food and utensils for those employees that didn’t get a change to eat. Thank you Manu! If you haven’t tried them yet I highly recommend it!!

I have eaten tacos from Manu's once or twice. They were good, but this review isn't focused on the food. I have a friend that works at Manu's. Covid-19 impacted my friend's employment. When the owner heard that this employee was struggling to pay the bills, the owner generously gave my friend money to make it through the month. This kind of management and kindness will always get my business. Support GOOD local businesses that CARE about their employees and treat them well! I would rather eat terrible tacos knowing that I am supporting a business that cares for their employees, than eat amazing tacos benefiting horrible management. Luckily, Manu's tacos has good food and great owners.

So happy we found a place in Seattle that serves delicious tacos. Pretty picky when it comes to tacos, but this place had great food. Nachos were delicious, steak and pork+pineapple tacos were great. The bar Flatstick Pub which this place is located in is fun, too. Tons of beers on tap, board games, mini-golf.

I set up catering through Manu's Tacos for a team event we were having at Flatstick Pub. Flatstick was awesome and the staff went out of their way to be accommodating and made sure the event went off without any issue. Unfortunately, they were not able to help in the situation with Manu's Tacos so here I am writing a review. Do not hire catering from Manu's Tacos, you're honestly better off having people order individual tacos and you'll pay about $5 less per person and the tacos will likely be better quality. We were less than thrilled with not only the poor presentation of the buffet but the food itself was average at best, I honestly think I make a better taco bar at home. The "buffet" was three hot plates lined up with the food sitting in tin foil containers.. as I'm sure you've guessed, the containers were warmer than the actual food. I'm actually embarrassed to have having paid them $16 per person and then to receive such low quality. After reaching out to the manager of Manu's and explaining the poor experience, all she offered was 10% off our next order. There won't be a next order. Save your money and don't bother with Manu's and their sub par tacos.

Tacos were great, one chicken, one beef, on chorizo. Standout was the beef! Guac was also delicious. Only caveat is the location is just a window and a single chair outside. At 3pm, the Flatstick Pub next door let's you order Manus food at the bar. Otherwise, you have to go up order the food at the window then go down into Flat Stick. Kinda weird setup

Amazing food. Great personality. Little pricey but worth it. They would be a killer food truck business.
