I took my brother here to do the Japanese Whisky tasting masterclass they do, as a present, and we had a fantastic time! Lovely small group (just 4 of us), made the afternoon really personal. Melissa who talked us through it was absolutely amazing. Friendly, welcoming, knowledgable! We could have sat and talked the night away, she was so wonderful. We stayed and had a couple more drinks and some food afterwards which was delicious, and we loved the feel of the bar. Being small can sometimes feel overcrowded, but the lay out was brilliant, so everyone had their own space, it wasn’t too noisy, yet just the right amount between everyone that it felt a friendly place to be. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, we’ll be back soon!

Thoroughly enjoyed our Macallen Whisky Tasting experience which was gifted to us. Charlotte was a perfect hostess and guided us through the process imparting her knowledge at each stage. The cheese pairings complimented the whiskies and the tapas and were flavoursome. Highly recommended!

We came to Map Maison in Haggerston for my boyfriend’s birthday and had such a fantastic evening! We did the Japanese whiskey tasting experience with cocktails and tapas, and it exceeded our expectations. The bartender was incredibly knowledgeable, he explained the history and background of each whiskey we tried, which made the whole experience feel really special. The bar itself is super cool and cosy, with a great atmosphere for both intimate dates and small group celebrations. Our friends joined us later, and everyone had an amazing time. The cocktails were creative and beautifully made. Highly recommend Map Maison if you’re looking for a unique, high-quality cocktail and whiskey experience in London. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Wow what amazing place this is. We were gifted our voucher to use for a whisky tasting experience with tapas and it really was the best experience the minute you walk in the minute you leave. Charlotte gave us so much information all about the whisky and was so friendly nothing was to much to ask. We will definitely be back to do one of your other experiences or just popping in for a drink when in the area. Thanks

My son treated me to a Bottomless Gin Afternoon Tea at Map Maison. The atmosphere at Map Maison is fabulous for both couples and friends to enjoy an afternoon tea which is just more interesting than the standard ones around. The food was excellent and the cocktails were all brilliant. The staff were attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend and will return. There is also a wide range of whiskeys which I did not try but will be returning at some point to try these out. Excellent treasure of a place, will definitely recommend and I will be back.

Visited Map Maison for Japanese Whisky Tasting gift bought by family . The experience exceeded our expectations . Had a one on one tasting lead by Melissa who was soo knowledgable about the history and flavours of Japanese Whisky . Her passion made the night a true treat. The bar was very cosy/stylish and very easy to get to on public transport.

My partner and I had the Japanese whiskey tasting here. I was a lovely small group and a very knowledgable bartender. You get two cocktails and 3 whiskey tasting with some snacks. We had such a fun time and the atmosphere of the bar was amazing - we’ll be returning for drinks!

An amazing and affordable afternoon tea experience! This place is so chic and swank and cool without being pretentious or stuffy- the interior is lush and cozy and the staff are so kind. We were so well taken care of by Melissa, and I also spoke to Charlotte on the phone. Everyone was so kind and made my birthday tea really special. The tapas were lovely and they accommodated our veggie folk too. The cocktails were really good as well. Thank you for a great evening!

A lovely little cocktail bar on Kingsland Road that's clearly doing something right as it's never empty when I go in, regardless of what day of the week it is. There is a cocktail menu but when it's not too busy Ricardo (the very friendly owner of the place) will ask what spirits you like or flavours you're in the mood for and concoct something accordingly. Some of the drinks I've found more to taste than others but they are all expertly crafted and it's great to try some unusual cocktails that I wouldn't necessarily have picked if they were just listed on a menu. Decor is also really nice and gives the place a cozy and intimate feel. We usually sit by the bar on one of the bar stools, but there are also a couple of tables at the back and a few outdoor seats which are nice on a summers evening. Price wise it's not cheap, but then it is a very good cocktail bar in central London so I guess that's to be expected!
