Holy biscuit, this place is delicious. Came on a Saturday morning and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff was kind and patient, there was no wait, the place is clean, and the music is a perfect level for conversation. The food though, fantastic. I’m not a big biscuit person so I just got biscuits and the sausage gravy and I love their biscuits. My husband got The Farmer and the chicken was so flavorful and the perfect fry. Cannot recommend this place enough

Google
OMG!!! This place is amazing 🤩 I ordered a plate, grits, smashed browns (very tasty unique flavor) and fried green tomatoes. They have the best fresh squeezed OJ I’VE EVER HAD!!! 10/10. 🤗

Google
I tried the spicy gravy with biscuits & eggs, & it was fantastic. The gravy had just the right amount of heat to wake up my taste buds without being overpowering. The biscuits were soft & buttery, & the eggs tied everything together perfectly. Highly recommend for anyone who loves a hearty, flavorful breakfast.

This spot has a nice and inviting atmosphere. Great place to meet and talk. The menu is a large display on the wall as soon as you step in. Ordering is easy. You can see the kitchen from the counter. It's very clean. From order to getting our food was fairly quick. The biscuits are large and very light and buttery. The bowl was full of fresh veggies. They offer fresh squeeze OJ, hot/cold coffe/tea, and fountain drinks.

Google
We had a fantastic experience at this new restaurant! The food was absolutely excellent — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The customer service truly stood out as well. Lucas was especially helpful; he not only gave us a warm welcome but also shared the history behind the restaurant, which added a personal touch to our visit. He made great recommendations, and we loved everything he suggested. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Google
Nice quiet breakfast/brunch spot. Delicious food and great drinks. Got the squaking goat and my wife got the farmer. We both decided to get the iced churro latte, spent $35 for everything.

Google
Absolutely delicious! This was our first coming here after passing it all the time, finally decided to try it and boy it was the best experience I’ve had in a long time. The menu had lots of options but I couldn’t resist a good chicken and waffle meal. The chicken was perfectly crispy and the chicken practically melted in mouth, not sure what batter they used for the fried chicken but it almost had a little kick of spice in it! It was so so good! We also got the Carmel toffee crunch coffee and man let me tell ya, that was the best coffee I’ve had from a local restaurant in a while. Lukas was the one who took our order and was very patient with us being indecisive since that was our first time being there. We were definitely taken care of! They even brought the Cinnabon biscuit to our table for us to try and they were so good!!!!!! We got to also try their fresh squeezed orange juice which normally hurts my tummy but it didn’t since it was fresh and not super acidicy. We definitely will be back for those biscuits and gravy to try! Thank you Lukas for your awesome service and for helping creating a great atmosphere for guests.

Google
The pic doesn’t do it justice. I don’t usually like breakfast out because I’m a pretty good cook myself. But let me tell ya! This sandwich was amazing. Some of the best chicken around. A fresh egg, bacon and some homemade gravy on the side. My new fav spot in Mansfield.

Yelp
We scheduled a brunch at Maple Street Biscuit Company after our wedding last October. We have been back countless times since. My favorite is the Retro Plate with two eggs, smoked bacon, "smash" browns, and the BEST biscuits and gravy. A couple of things- What are smashbrowns you ask? They're like hash browns but better. They're round and smashed down, crispy, and seasoned with heaven. Their biscuits and gravy cannot be duplicated. The gravy has a kick to it with the addition of spicy sausage! OMG!! They have their coffee, (add a few drops of their maple coffee syrup!), and iced coffee drinks such as lattes. If you prefer a mimosa, they've got em! You will order at the counter and they bring the order to your table. The staff is helpful and friendly. Try them!

Yelp
Maple Street Biscuit Company is located in Mansfield, TX on the corner of 287 N and E Broad in the HEB vicinity serving up golden brown flakey biscuits, gravy, and more tasty brunch options for the whole family! I placed an online order for biscuits and gravy for the early morning, and it was my first time trying this place. As I walk in the restaurant it was pretty packed with guest sitting down and eating on their multiple tables, and chairs provided in a modern sleek environment. The restaurant set up was indeed a beautiful layout with many different options to sit at and dine in either inside or outside on the patio. My food was ready in no time and was presented to me in a lovely, sealed bag with my name on it and the order description. I went ahead and sat down on the patio outside before the Texas sun starts to heat up. They have a small condiment bar of ketchup, hot Sauce, and freshly coursed ground salt and pepper shakers along with your standard utensils and napkins. The biscuits were a nice portion and were crispy on the outside while moist in the inside giving the biscuits a phenomenal taste. The pork sausage gravy was mildly warm with juicy bits of pork in a nice consistency for every bite. I enjoyed taking a bite of the biscuit followed by a spoonful of gravy mixed in with some ketchup. The gravy had a hint of cayenne pepper in it for an additional kick and complimented the dish very well. They also have a choice for mushroom gravy instead of sausage. Overall, this dining experience was pleasant, and I can see myself coming back in the future to try out the rest of the menu like their fried chicken and waffles and maybe get some of their freshly squeezed orange juice. The prices are higher than average, but the quality of the food is all present.

Yelp
What a cluster. Apparently they're having system issues and we fell into that. Ordered and paid at 1154. By 1224 we had received nothing. No drinks. No food. Nothing. When we saw multiple people after us were getting and finishing their food, we went up and asked for a refund. The manager did come and refund us. Explained they'd been having an issue and offered to make the order to go and said it would only be a few minutes wait. I did appreciate the offer, and I do understand that you can have POS issues, but if you KNOW it's an issue you can't let your customers fall through the cracks. You need to make sure your tickets print. And when your hostess rounds the dining area several times and sees the same people without food or drinks, it should be addressed. The food did come out to go, in less than 5 min. Unfortunately it was missing the bacon and smashed potatoes that were supposed to be with the retro plate. Basically half the meal. All in all the manager did everything he could. He comp'd the meal, made it quickly to go and offered a coupon for next time. I'm just a little salty that what was supposed to be my nice brunch on one of my scarce days off, was ruined.

Yelp
Maple street is a cool place! Overall, the food is yummy. However, the prices are WAY too high for what is essentially leveled up "fast food". I paid $16.50 for a single biscuit! It was tasty, but definitely should have been more like $10-11. The service was friendly and food came out quick. I liked the biscuit with goat cheese and pepper jelly a lot, but would not call it earth-shattering. Lots of hype in my opinion. I'd maybe come back, but am not a fan of food that isn't as good as its prices (especially in this economy). Overall, a "maybe" for me.

Yelp
If you are a fan of chicken biscuits or biscuits in general you should check out this spot The interior is clean, well lit, trendy, and comfortable. The decor and fixtures work well with the space, the menus are big bright and legible, there a pictures on the digital menu, and there's even some on display at the counter. I appreciate that there is full transparency in the sense that you can see practically everything everyone is doing in the kitchen be it kneading, mixing, preparing, etc The staff were especially pleasant, helpful, and efficient. When you order you are given a number to take to your table, and someone will bring food out to you. The service is speedy. You also don't need to bus your own table, they graciously do that for you The menu has a variety of brunch style offerings, but their specialty is chicken biscuits. There are classic and signature coffees drinks as well as juices and mimosas The food is both delicious and HUGE. The biscuits are so big that they have to place a wooden skewer in most of them to keep everything in place. These biscuits aren't a sloppy mess, they are a deliciously appealing mess. Very picturesque Some tips: The coffee is a little sweet for my liking, but you might be able to tell them to adjust the sweetness. The 5 and Dime is an amazing biscuit. The cinnamon pull apart is great to share. Create a profile online and get a reward on your birthday! Cheers!!

Yelp
I love all things maple flavored so I was excited to try. It was crowded at noon on a Sunday. There wasn't any seating for my party of 4 but plenty of seating for parties of 2 so that was a little frustrating. I think the table arrangement should have 2-seaters nearby so that we can push them together to make it a table for 4. I saw a couple sitting at a table for 4 and that was kinda annoying too. Food came out at a good time and it was delicious. Lattes tasted a little watered down. The staff were very nice. We ordered a pitcher of mimosa later but something happened with the ticketing in the kitchen and they brought it out a long time later so that kinda sucked. Overall it was okay. I'd probably order for to-go food items in the future.

Yelp
When i first walked in and realized there was a line to order and not wait staff I was a little surprised. It actually was easy to order and no pressure to tip which these days is hard to find. We had a server that brought our food and we did leave a tip at the table for her because she did a great job. I got the retro breakfast with a biscuit and adds gravy. I love all things spicy and let me tell you it was very spicy but so good. The coffee was good and there was a choice of regular or medium roast. The inside was clean including the bathrooms and i can't wait to go again and try something new.
google avatar

Krystal D.

Yelp
The Farmer biscuit was good and the sausage gravy had a little kick to it, which I enjoyed. Service was a bit slow, but I'm hoping it's just due to the restaurant being new. Some of the food was cold, which took away from the experience. Overall, I'd try the place again, but wouldn't go out of my way.

Yelp
This restaurant was not our original destination but ended up here and so glad we did. It took us a few minutes to decide what we wanted to order because it all looked delicious. I must give a BIG THANK YOU, to Lucus!! He took our order and was VERY helpful explaining the differences in the iced coffees and his recommendation was excellent. We ordered the Hash bowl which was also delicious. They have outdoor seating and the weather was perfect for it. Lucus came out and checked on us while we dined. We loved this place and plan to return soon!!!!

Yelp
As always this place is a Banger in Jacksonville or in Dallas it's going to hit every time. (Looking at YOU Michigan to get on board) I went with my usual the 5 and dime and fried green tomatoes. Service was good and fast.
google avatar

Lisa F.

Yelp
When you walk in you wait in line to order- would be helpful if there were individual menus in the pockets marked "menus " (they we all empty) as the menu on the wall is constantly rotating, so difficult to read. Easy to place order at the counter, nice there is no pressure to tip. I ordered the chicken biscuit plate. Unfortunately the chicken was so spicy I couldn't eat it. There is definitely a lot of cayenne pepper in the breading (& possibly in the marinade?). I was hoping the biscuit might improve the situation, but it had a weird, artificial flavor to it. I packed it up for my husband who enjoys ghost peppers (pic attached)

Yelp
It's a small business with good food. It gets crowded fast but we went at 12:30 and it was great. This was my first time going and I will definitely go back again. One thing that I wish would could be better is maple bacon. It was good but would've been better if it wasn't a little burnt from the maple syrup
google avatar

Adrienne W.

Yelp
Met up with a friend for brunch. When I arrived I liked that there was plenty of parking nearby. Once inside it's spacious and clean. My friend already had a table. One thing I didn't like was as busy as it gets for brunch one of us had to stay and hold the table while the other went to the register to order. If not we wouldn't have had any place to sit. They bring the food to you so that's a plus. The food itself was ok. I had the chicken biscuit and honey kettle fries. The chicken was cooked good and the honey was good bonus to the chips.

Yelp
This is my kind of breakfast place! I came here one morning after I dropped my daughter off for school so that I wouldn't have to deal with crowds, and it was just heavenly. It was $20 for one plate, so I know this isn't an everyday treat but to have a homemade biscuit and gravy with eggs over easy just made my day! The coffee is self serve, and it was good coffee. They also have chicken tenders and gravy on the menu, and I plan to stop by to try those because the Whataburgers in the area are really not doing well in that department.
google avatar

Latifah R.

Yelp
This place recently opened and it did not disappoint. The food is , and the mimosa is a good size. This may be my new favorite breakfast spot. They have a good selection of coffee, mimosas, and regular drinks. Service was quick, and the inside is very clean.
google avatar

Kim Charron L.

Yelp
I've been here twice now and both times the service was good. Cute, clean place with friendly, helpful staff. The biscuits are delicious!! Also great gravy and eggs. I love the breakfast taco options, all of them are big and tasty with cheese and eggs is my favorite. The hash brown bites are a plus, don't miss them!!
google avatar

Logan A.

Yelp
I was a little worried their gravy would just be the amber sweetness from a tree, but I was happy to find a nice sausage gravy on the biscuits and gravy. Could've had a little more flavor, but they were much better than most other "bfast" establishments. Main complaint on the meal was the smashbrowns were a little burnt on the outside, unless that's how much they cook them, but would have been better less fried. Also had the light roast coffee and it had good flavor. Overall good food at a good price- biscuits and gravy, 2 smashbrowns, coffee for $15. I'll likely be back.

Yelp
Wow, what a great surprise. Dropped in early for breakfast. I didn't know much about Maple Street but the reviews looked good. You order and the counter and they bring it to your table. First off, the food was great. Biscuits and gravy was fantastic, bacon thick and tasty. The coffee is really great as well. Their own roast. Service was top notch as well. Really a great breakfast spot for Mansfield .
google avatar

Jenn S.

Yelp
Another great brunch place in Mansfield! Normally not a big fan of biscuit, but Maple Street Biscuit Company has amazing biscuits! Crispy on the outside, but soft in the inside. Definitely not dry at all. Their dessert biscuits are so good too!
google avatar

Alicia J.

Yelp
First off, I have been eying this place for a few months. It's brand new to the area and your girl likes a good biscuit! I noticed it was finally open so I decided today was the day. You order at the counter, get a number and then they bring the food to you. Much to my surprise this restaurant has more than just biscuits. It was crowded. The service was excellent. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. So I waited about a good 10 minutes or more for my bacon, egg,& cheese biscuit with some sort of strawberry syrup. The biscuit was on point! It was flaky and buttery, just like I like it. The bacon was crispy. So my only real issue was my eggs were not hot but were lukewarm. Maybe I'll give them another try to see how good it is when the eggs are hot.

Yelp
Met franchise guy Daniel and manager Amber - they are obviously excited about their new location next to HEB. Discovered that Maple Street Biscuit's parent company is Cracker Barrel- this tells me they will focus on quality & good food. Busy at their grand-opening day but my bowls and biscuit sandwiches came out quick! Solid operation and a nicely sized dining area.

Pickens Plates ..

Yelp
First thing first, the food at Maple Street was good! My husband and I ordered the Squawking Goat, the Farmer, and fried green tomatoes to share. The squawking goat had a great combo of goat cheese and red pepper jelly, although I felt like the biscuit was drowning in the red pepper jelly.. a drizzle would have been just the perfect amount. The farmer was a very tasty and unique rendition of a chicken biscuit. Fried green tomatoes were cut too thick as they were barely cooked inside and the tomatoes themselves were crunchy. The batter was good though. NOW THE REST... this restaurant is very new, so we write this review with that in mind, and we know there are kinks to work out. We came at a very busy time on Sunday. 20-30 people in line with only one of two cashiers taking orders. The staff here were very young and inexperienced. When we were served, we were given DIRTY silverware with food chunks on it. The restaurant had clearly not been swept in a while. Food was served on a tray covered in spills. Some staff not being helpful at ALL. Overall, the food was good. But when you add the unattractive dining space, unwelcoming staff, and factor in the egregious prices... we likely will not be returning.
google avatar

Randall G.

Yelp
A rather noisy place with average food offerings. Service was good but nothing special and took a little longer than expected. "Once you get your food you're on your own" kinda place.
google avatar

Kevin T.

Yelp
Was excited to try this place out but was very disappointed to order from a counter. I could do that at McDonalds. My wife ordered the Retro and I got the S. E. & Cheese. First, the wilted hard edge cheese hanging from the sides of my biscuit gave me a good idea of that the cheese was not quality. The biscuit itself was small and overall nothing to rush grandma over here to try. My wifes retro was disappointing. The eggs were scrambled hard and the bacon was cold. The biscuits n gravy had a funky flavor I could not identify. $34 for what we ordered which included a $6 orange juice and 2 coffees that were lukewarm was not worth it. Chick Fi La and Quicktrip offer double the size of fresh biscuits than these and have a much better flavor. The date is 12/19/2024 and you would not even know it was Christmas in this place other than it was freezing inside the establishment.
google avatar

Seliesha B.

Yelp
The waffles were delicious, the chicken was flavorful. My aunt ordered the hash bowl. She enjoyed it as well as the butter toffee crunch latte. The dining area was clean, though restrooms could have used some tlc. I would recommend definitely go back again.
google avatar

Doug D.

Yelp
We went Saturday around noon, it's packed uncomfortably so. We said we'd come back but only during the week. We got a coffee, a biscuit sandwich with syrup, hash browns and hash bowl. The coffee came first and was really good, first we ate the hash brown bites, which are absolutely amazing, some of the best hash brown ever. The biscuit sandwich was good, I'd definitely get it again. The hash bowl was okay. I'd definitely go back though I'm not a people person so the packed in wasn't great, it looks nice though and was clean. Service was good too.
google avatar

Joanna T.

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious!! Presentation and taste were great!! Only thing was the line was long and slow. Cashier seemed nervous.
google avatar

Margo S.

Yelp
I've been waiting for this restaurant to come to the area. I was finally able to visit here and it did not disappoint either. We went after the crowd had died down because I heard it could be crowded and the process was seamless. Service was good, there's a variety of options on the menu, and the food was delicious.

clarissa k.

Yelp
Great little place for brunch! Everything we had was delicious! - Sweet Grace waffle, Hash Bowl, sausage biscuit sandwich and a bacon biscuit sandwich. The service was top notch! Deserves more than 5 stars!

Krystle

Yelp
The food was good. The chicken and biscuits were nice and hot. Good to try at least once.

Debrs R.

Yelp
Ambience like a fast food restaurant. Service a 8 out of 10. I needed additional pepper and an employee told me that was all they had. (Young employee) Best for me was the side of grits very smooth. Peachberry lemonade more ice than drink. Biscuit and gravy 5 out of 10. Plain biscuit a 10. Coffee maple flavored not bad. Steak taco good but only 1 for $4.99. Tip smashbrowns half a dollar shape must like onions. Will return again.

Texzilla Z.

Yelp
Very disappointing food and expensive. I got a Farmer chicken biscuit and an ice water due to drinks being priced at ridiculously high prices. I nearly walked out. The sandwich came quick. It's very vertical construction with a long toothpick holding it together. It's a biscuit with a fried chicken breast with bacon, cheddar, and apple butter. It looked impressive. First the biscuit. Golden brown but with a weird yellow hue. Looked right but the inside was gummy. It had no flavor. Very disappointing. The chicken breast looked great. A perfect crunchy crust. But the chicken had zero seasoning or flavor. Should have been soaked in buttermilk or something. Not even salt! The meat itself was mushy as if it had been processed. Bacon. Looked great. Too crisp and no flavor. The cheddar slice was hard and rubbery. The Apple butter was cinnamony. It was the only flavor on the sandwich. I read the reviews and thought I'd stop before heading into H-E-B. Should have gone elsewhere. $11 for a gummy biscuit and underwhelming piece of chicken. Won't be back. Two stars simply because they didn't hound for a tip at the order line.

Tonya C.

Yelp
Service time is horrible - waited 30 minutes for one food item . First customer of the day so there was not any back up .
google avatar

Steph M.

Yelp
I just love this place. The biscuits, spicy gravy, coffee, cinnamon pull apart muffin. It's just delicious.
google avatar

Jovani C.

Yelp
food was great, the service was amazing. they answered all my questions. the ambiance is not overwhelming

Yelp
We have eaten at several Maple St locations and always had a great experience. The Mansfield location is going to have to work hard to improve. It took us 27 minutes to reach the counter to order. Unacceptable when there were 2 registers available but only one being used. Lots of staff was standing around with what appeared to be nothing to do as management watched on. The staff is going to need to learn to pivot team members to take care of customers to improve flow.

Patricia L.

Yelp
First and last visit here. Food was cold. Asked for gravy on the side, but it was poured over the biscuit. Gravy lacked seasoning. Tasted like flour gravy. Disappointing.

Justin M.

Yelp
This spot was a lucky find when the wait at another brunch place was too long. We loved every bite and their vanilla maple coffee was incredible. It was also easy to get a seat and the tables were clean as well. Lots of smiling faces on employees and patrons alike.

Savina S.

Yelp
Awesome food. I had the Five and Dime and it was wonderful!! The spicy sausage gravy had a kick but not too much! The chicken was crispy and seasoned. I'll definitely be back. Thanks Lucas and Krista for an enjoyable visit!
google avatar

Natisse S.

Yelp
My first time here was sooo amazing thanks to Lucas and Krista. The staff is so friendly and helpful which is really refreshing. I ordered the hash bowl which was amazing and at a good price. The five and dime was ordered by my mother which looked as good as it tasted. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasty well priced breakfast.
google avatar

Eric B.

Yelp
The food is good here but the sandwiches seem like it was just assembled and brought to us. The cheese was not melted and everything else seemed barely warm at best. The smashbrowns are amazing and the maple coffee is great, just try and actually melt the cheese and warm things up a little more.
google avatar

Liz K.

Yelp
Oh my gosh! This place is incredible! The biscuits are absolutely homemade tasting! The sauce that was on my biscuit was amazing and I think I got the one that was vegetarian simply because I wanted the mushrooms. The atmosphere is fun and a hip and it was such a unique experience. Gourmet breakfast at its best!

Marlyne S.

Yelp
The food was delicious! Could have been served hotter. But other than that, no complaints. We had several dishes and all were seasoned well. The portions are large. I had plenty left for lunch and dinner too!

Steven M.

Yelp
Ambiance is great and the food was amazing. The biscuits were soft and rich, the hash browns were flavorful, and the orange juice is freshly squeezed. Everything was fantastic. And the manager brought us mini cinnamon biscuits to thank us for coming

Space M.

Yelp
Regular breakfast taco was ok, steak taco has no flavor to the meat. Service was great though!

Sandra E.

Yelp
Great service, delicious coffee and breakfast tacos. Nice and clean. Lucas was very helpful brought me samples of their hot cinnamon biscuits.
google avatar

Tanya M.

Yelp
The restaurant has a old-timey, yet modern look and feel on the inside. We got here about an hour before closing and no line and no wait! The servers were friendly, but the tables weren't all clean. I had to wipe my own down... I guess worse things could happen. Also, the restaurant overall looked like it could use a good cleaning. I was looking for something that was a combo is sweet, savory, and crunchy. I couldn't really find what I was looking for on the menu, so I ordered a basic chicken biscuit, and had the pepper gravy and goat cheese to it. I then added maple syrup. YUM!!!! It was delicious. The portion size was perfect, and I loved we very fulfilled. My so had the Five and Dime. He liked the fried chicken taste with the gravy and egg, but thought it was a little messy... he's 12. Overall, a good experience. I sat next to someone who had the waffles and they smelled incredible. I will be back with my husband in the near future. Oh! If you are dieting or carbconscious... don't even bother!

Steve T.

Yelp
We were very excited about a Biscuit restaurant. Our first visit : Prices are OK, Food is NOT we are Very Disappointed, room temp biscuits with room temp gravy, We don't plan to go back.

Linda T.

Yelp
Service was slow! Look like there was plenty of help. No energy and getting food out. Left our food up in the warming window for over four minutes. Half of our order was warm. And you don't wanna eat a warm egg and just warm gravy. you want that Nice and hot! University store needs help bad and it's a shame because we enjoy the food.
