Our first visit to Mapungubwe was amazing. As n birder I was disappointed cause of the bird hide and Treetop Walk that is closed, but we were able to spot a lot of birds. The mountains and rocks were breathtaking, and the campsite is beautiful and quiet. The ablutions, washing up area and braais were cleaned daily with the friendliest staff. I will definitely visit again when the bird hide and Treetop Walk is back in operation.

Loekwe camp site was amazing. Some of the roads not so great The forest tented camp site was lovely. Unfortunately we could not go to the bird hide as it had been damaged in the rains Overall enjoyed my stay

A magnificent National Park. Beautiful and unusual scenery. It is a pity that regular maintenance of the facilities is not being done. Worth a visit nevertheless.

There’s no network once you leave the reception area. So be ready for a no phone vacation because the reception area is a bit far from the different camp sites. DO NOT WITH A SMALL CAR!!

Truly one of the most beautiful landscapes in South Africa. The Limpopo is flowing! Birdlife and wildlife in abundance. Spotted a couple of Sadle billed Storks with their juvenile. Forest Tented camp was our highlight stay of all the camps. Unfortunately it suffered severe storm damage.

Small but great campsite with roaming antelopes and decent facilities. 45 minutes drive from camp site to reception. Park is in good condition with some 4x4 only roads which add to the fun. Didn't see many animals though.
