I decided to try waterfront because I had a bad experience a couple of years ago and promised not to go back. But I did thinking things would be different. Upon arrival we found no waiters at entrance to recieve guests for seating.We then had to go up to on , call for the waiter because she was distracted sitting on her phone - after requesting for a tables , she then took us to our table but then abandoned us and left her phone on our table. We had to call for another waiter to give us the Menu. Service was slow, bad, waiters were always forgetting orders and taking long. This one waiter even seemed drunk. Overall they were not polite, never smiling. Old management was much better. New Management must improve their waiter service if they intend to go further in this business, train them and supervise them on a weekly basis - especially for days that restaurant is very full (which was the case yesterday). We went for a meal but ended up changing our mind and just had a drink and left. Not welcoming at all - we did not have a great experience. Definitely not going back- Maputo has much better places with better services. Remember: How waiters receive you upon arrival says a lot about the service you will be provided within and that was the case. We were not satisfied at all and do not recommend. - 10/3/25
