Literally an hidden gem 💎 found on the dyli app. Excellent spot to seat and relax for an hour or two when visiting Lagos. The food is standard (the french fries are really tasty though!) So depending on the appetite, maybe better go there for a drink or a coffee but by all means worth the detour if you have the chance 🙂‍↕️

It's a beautiful shop with a rooftop terrace restaurant in Lagos central area. The shop has a variety of local souvenirs and handmade items, and the food in the restaurant was super delicious. I especially enjoyed the tuna steak sandwich and the super tasty desserts. There was a nice view of the street below and surroundings. Great place to sit, eat, enjoy, and/or shop as well!

Today I wanted to buy some Portuguese chocolate & a postcard to send to my friend for her birthday. My partner had to use the bathroom so that was the condition on which I could do my shopping in peace. As locals we are fully aware where the public toilets are. As I was choosing what to buy I was called by my partner and found out he was not allowed to use the toilet. Apparently it is for the customers on the rooftop only. I understand this must be some kind of an order from the management, but the shop was completely empty. This is an upmarket shop, kind of fancy and for people with disposable income. My partner has had drinks and coffee on the rooftop and in the café many times before and used the toilet. I have shopped in the shop on numerous occasions and also used the toilet, but guess the rules have changed. In any case, it would have made sense to make an exception in an empty shop and this kind of attitude does not suit a lifestyle shop like Mar d’Estoria where the toilets are also clearly labelled for everyone to see. We’re disappointed locals and will have to buy treats for our friends and family from somewhere else from now on because the lady behind the counter in an empty shop has no sympathy for human vulnerability and doesn’t understand simple principles when it comes to encouraging your customers to spend money. She was simply heartless even after it was explained to her that she herself has given him the toilet key when we have been customers before. This rigid policy lets the whole place down.

We had lunch here. They were able to cater for gluten free. The cocktails we had were top notch and the food was absolutely delicious. We had the tuna salad and prawns with chilli. There is also a lovely view of the town

Went for drinks on the roof before going out one evening, and what a lovely terrace bar! Hidden away but has a gorgeous view above Lagos and of the church, im very glad we visited even if it be briefly. Definitely will be included in my next visit to Lagos!

We absolutely loved this gem in Lagos! The staff provided fantastic recommendations for both food and drinks, making our experience unforgettable. We started with the sardine pâté, which was incredibly flavorful, but the real highlights were yet to come. The roasted octopus special was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, while the pork cheeks were tender and absolutely mouthwatering. The service was exceptional, the atmosphere vibrant, and we loved hearing the fascinating stories behind some of their products, like the traditional medronho. Their selection of vinho verde and unique craft beers was an added bonus. Do yourself a favor—visit this place, soak in the vibe, and prepare to be amazed!

Yelp
Warm, cozy, and friendly place with delicious, moderately-priced local fare. The service was impeccable and attentive with a nice touch of complimentary Prosecco to start our meal.

Yelp
Fun place with a mix of a store with typical Portuguese gifts, restaurant and cocktail bar. On a nice day as to seat on their rooftop terrace which is GORGEOUS!!! Staff is super attentive and very friendly. Cocktails are fabulous. Portuguese traditional yummy food with a modern twist. Before or after you meal or drinks make sure to take some time to browse the different little rooms and levels with Portuguese traditional items for you to take with you home.

Yelp
The olives are delicious. Such a neat combination sweet, salty, and savoury. I ate "olive" them. :) I had a green salad. It was healthy and tasty. Lots of good veggies in it, not just greens, it included cabbage, peppers, and made an overall heartier salad. Pork sandwich was ok but lacked flavour. It didn't have sauces on it. Maybe condiments are a North American thing but the sandwich seemed dry, but the pork wasn't. It wasn't bad but I was hoping for flavour that matched the intensity of the olives. Great rooftop view, away from the busy streets. Service was friendly. Would definitely come back.

Yelp
Phenomenal place. Menu rotates. I had a tuna dish with white beans that was to die for. Inexpensive bottle of wine was excellent and paired perfectly with meal. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Phenomenal place. Probably the best restaurant in all of Lagos. Went here for dinner and breakfast the next morning because I loved it so much. It's fairly unassuming exterior belies a three storey gastronomic experience. The lower floor is a souvenir shop. The second floor is more a sit down dinner place where we ate - great service, well priced and quality food. The terrace is where we had breakfast and the views were stunning. Such fresh food, good selection and great service as usual. Highly recommend it!!

Yelp
Great chill bar on top of the store. Cocktails. Great store; want to buy everything. First stop in Lagos and doesn't feel as touristy as the other places!

Yelp
Such a beautiful store with elements of the original architecture but made clean and modern in a coastal style. Selling all things made in Portugal, including home goods, baskets, trinkets, candles, oils, wines, music, books, and more. They have a gorgeous rooftop cafe with views to the sea, and a gallery featuring current local artists. Highly recommended for unique and authentic souvenirs (or just gifts to yourself!)

Yelp
This is a cracking spot! You can shop for local artisan products, sip large Portuguese gins on the rooftop bar and eat fabulous food at their mid level restaurant! Everything about this place is just perfect! The food, drink, products for sale and the friendly staff! My favourite place in Lagos!

Yelp
Best restaurant in the Algave region. I recommend the tuna on toast. Service was second to none. Great little gift shop attached to it as well

Yelp
Great service, lovely menu, remarkably reasonable wine list and nothing but Portuguese products. A real find.

Yelp
I was recommended to go here from our hotel casa mae. We were the only people there at 9p on a Tuesday and it was definitely best meal of our entire trip! We shared tuna and chicken and our appetizer was pickled octopus and tomato/egg dish. Would definitely go back!
