This is place for enjoying the food, it is art in cuisine!!! They mix a lot of different taste in one and this is unforgettable experience! Their theme to share the dishes, it is about you try as much tastes as you can. It is like you go to the art galary, you can stare at one picture during hour or explore more pictures. Here is the same, it’s not just about food, it is more about pleasures, discover new tastes and enjoying each spoon of the culinary masterpiece. Can you imagine fish with mango or carrot you can not stop to eat !! Love this place!!! Ready to return here again and again !!!!

This is an amazing restaurant and I would recommend everyone who visits Ericeira to have dinner here. We ordered one of each on the menu as a group of 5 and it was a good portion for everyone. All the dishes were excellent and very creative. Even the steak was cooked perfectly (most restaurants do not get this right). Maybe one thing to improve is that the non alcoholic drink choices were limited.

Best service we had while in Ericeira! Everything on the menu was just delicious and the wine was nice ☺️ a perfect meal! The fish and the banoffee dessert was just delicious! We will for sure be back ✨ Thank you!

As a group of 8, we ordered almost everything, and my congratulations bc all was so delicious, including desserts. Amazing service, Elegant ambiance. I forgot they have a great selection of wines.

I wanted to love Mar das Latas but the portions are tiny and food was hit and miss. The fish cakes were super salty and reminded me of a filet o fish. The fried rice was also a miss and overly pretentious dish. The crudo and ceviche were both delicious but very small. We enjoyed their take on bacalhau. I noted on my reservation that it was my wife’s birthday but no one even acknowledged it the entire evening. One waiter was very dry and boring while another was more fun and playful. This was the general theme of the evening of hits and misses. Overall it is overpriced for what you get. If you are going to pay premium prices then the experience needs to be better from start to finish.

We ate here our last night in Ericeira. The food, wine and service were outstanding. We loved our week in Ericeira and this was the perfect last night. The location is the best for the sunset as well. We ate and drank a ton of wine. Actually I think we may have ordered every tapas dish on the menu. All were fantastic. Highly recommend. This was the charcuterie board which started us off on the right food journey. And this is the view right in front of the restaurant at sunset. Fantastic all around. Thank you Mar das Latas for making our last night in Portugal one to never forget.

Upscale menu - small portions and big prices. The food was good, however not great. Especially not enough to justify the prices which were too high for such small portions. Also, can we please stop with the mendatory QR code menu? High-end restaurants should have a normal printed menu.

We absolutely loved this place. Great atmosphere by the sea. Lovely staff and delicious food. Nice to have a few drinks outside while you wait and watch the sunset.

Hands down best restaurant we ate at on our trip to Ericeira! The service was amazing the food was delicious! It also is the cutest spot with the best sunset views! The restaurant was perfect for a birthday celebration :)

The tapas here are phenomenal. The sesame fried chicken and the prawns were amazing. I think their menu changes pretty frequently. The wines are quite good as well and they sell them by the bottle for takeaway too. They also have little boxes you can place on the wall of the sidewalk and drink from there too during sunset.

Incredible experience. Loved everything from the food to the atmosphere. The service was superb. Definitely a spot to visit when visiting Ericeria!

The MAR das Latas (Wine and Food) has the best food in Portugal (out of Faro, Largos & Lissabon). Not to mix up with the Same named Restaurant next to that. On the left side you will get nice food like typical Portugiese Shrimps, Catch of the day (see Foto) and 300gr Steak with a bottle of recommended white wine for only 78€. On the right side you will get nice drinks, Tapas for a cheaper level. Moreover we had a great view. The waiters are very friendly!

Beautiful small bistro serving Portuguese seafood specialties in canned portions. Sardines and tuna and octopus all from Portugal and of the best quality! Staff are a couple and their daughter and are the nicest and most hospital people you'll ever meet. You also have a varieties of local wines and local craft beers from Ericeira. Cheeses, sandwiches and salads!! Must visit this place. Plus an excellent sunset spot!!
