Google
The chicken gyro was awesome. Looking forward to going back for the lamb/beef version. 8/11 Edit - Finally made it back for the lamb/beef version. It was excellent and by far the best traditional Gyro I've had since leaving Germany 20 years ago. Will be going back a couple times before I head home.

Google
Very delicious gyro, close to the taste you have in the ones in Turkey. Did not taste the ice cream but looks nice.

Google
Addicted! I'm not sure what authentic turkish ice cream is supposed to be but this stuff is awesome!! I had the salted almond and the nutella. I'll definitely be back for more. Update: Couldn't resist and went back. I got the strawberry cheesecake and chocolate flavors. I wish I could take this home with me.

A “MyReviews” I

Google
I loved the Mango, Strawberry, and Nutella Crunch ice cream. The were nice and rich flavors. The chocolate was good but it tasted like any other chocolate ice cream. You can ask them to try the ice cream before you purchase it.

Umm. What can I say... after all the hype that was made on Yelp about authentic Turkish ice cream, I was quite disappointed that I chose this over Ghirardelli and Cocolini and even Ben & Jerry’s. We were served by someone who did not wear gloves while scooping out ice cream which am certain is a health-code violation. The ice cream itself tasted starchy and not creamy. For all I know, maybe that’s what authentic Turkish ice cream is, so don’t take my word for it.

Google
Unlike its name, the ice cream is not authentic marash ice cream. It lacks the elasticity and the flavor. We tried pistachio and vanilla. They were not fresh and didnt have the richness of marash ice cream. There is also a gyro place right next to it belonging to same management. The gyro was not impressive either. But it is a quick and relatively cheaper meal for Las Vegas standards.

Min Kim

Google
Not an "Authentic Turkish Ice Cream" All just simply regular ice cream that you can buy for yourself in another Baskin Robins. $5.25 for 2 tiny scoops that doesn't taste like anything special.

Reza Shirazi

Google
We bought two 2-scoop ice creams. Before buying the first one, we sampled two flavors and liked both. Then we sampled three other flavors and bought the second ice cream. The guy was mad and rude and asked why we were sampling different flavors before buying

Yelp
We went back after 3 years to pick lunch and dinner for our travel back but we ended up ordering single chicken doner rice bowl which included such large quantities that it sufficed for us and to share with 2 of our friends. The chicken doner rice bowl consists of flavored rice layered with veggies, sauce of your choice and chicken. The chicken is flavorful and nothing is too spicy that worked so well for our trip. Service is so quick and although you stand at the counter and order it doesn't take more than 5 minutes to grab everything. Chicken is halal and absolutely flavorful, delicious like always!

Yelp
I was not impressed with my food choice. I ordered the beef and lamb pita. Sandwich only was $17, but it was a large portion of food. It arrived within just a few minutes. The service was good. There are tables near by. So, the issue that I had was the meat. It was real meat and not the normal gyro meat. To me, the meat really did not have much taste, along with dry and chewy. I ended up throwing it away. I would try the chicken if I were to return.

Yelp
One of my favorite Mediterranean meals I've had! Stopped by for a quick bite before my flight back to LA on a recommendation from my Uber driver a few nights ago. And with the portion size, it's easily one of the best deals on the Strip. Food: I enjoyed the Rice Bowl with Chicken (you can also choose from Beef/Lamb, falafel, or other vegetarian options) and chose garlic sauce as my topper (recommended for chicken). When I say the container was packed, it was PACKED to the brim with equal portions of everything ‍ The saffron rice was warm and well-cooked. And the lettuce, onion, and tomato were crisp and fresh. If I have any complaint, it's that I wish the chicken Shawarma pieces were a little more hearty, but for a serving size that can serve as lunch, dinner, and then another lunch (if I portioned it correctly), the want was outweighed by the value, Service: The Halal food stall is located in a food hall in front of the Horseshoe hotel. There isn't much seating, just a couple tables and high chairs against the alley wall, but what it lacks in seating it makes up for in service. The cashier was so patient as I stood in dilemma over what to order. And when my order was ready I was immediately asked by the friendly gentleman serving me if I wanted a bag. I'm disabled and have a hard time carrying multiple food items so I usually ask for a bag anyway. But in this case, my needs were already anticipated and he even threw in extra utensils/napkins, all while smiling warmly. The genuine hospitality was so appreciated

Yelp
This spot is a hidden gem in Vegas! If you're looking for a fantastic wrap, this is the place to visit. The meat quality is excellent, and the other ingredients are incredibly fresh. It's our favorite spot in Vegas, and regardless of the time of day, we always make sure to stop by whenever we're nearby.

Yelp
Even street food like this place offers is not super cheap in Vegas and yet this place does a good job especially in the quality they produce. I had the Chicken Gyro Combination Bowl/Plate yesterday and it was amazing (after walking on the Strip putting 26,000+ steps(!!). I was soooo hungry. And when I got this plate - despite the fact that it was a good portion - I finished the whole thing in one sitting in about 15 to 20 minutes (lol!) The lady who assisted me was very patient with me and explained everything to me as to what was included or what wasn't. I wish the falafel (I only needed just one) came with it. I can't really talk about the atmosphere or ambience though as they only have a storefront with no indoor dining area; you sit outside at one of the outdoor tables to eat your food or take it home (or your hotel room.) But like I said, this whole area has so many different food vendors with a street food scene atmosphere. If you want to avoid expensive restaurants inside those casinos, go here to have some cheap or reasonably priced eats.

Yelp
The Mix Doner with the chicken, beef and lamb Shawarma Pita was bomb! The lines here get pretty long and for good reason the price of the food and the portion you pay for is worth it! One of better options for a quick bite at the Horseshoe. They have a lot of options from wraps, gyros, bowls and salad. But the pita shawarma was fire! Sooo freaking good!

Alex D.

Yelp
As far as fast food on the strip is concerned, this stand delivers pretty decent quality and fast service for a reasonable price. Which is rare around here. We stopped by around 11am on a Saturday in the beginning of June. Upon our arrival, we were first in line and saw it grow long pretty fast as we were waiting for our order. The sun was out and the shade temps were approaching 100. We got the mix shawarma (half chicken, and half beef and lamb) and we liked it good deal. However.. the wrap tasted like it was chilled in the fridge before serving (the meat was more or less warm). Definitely understand how that could be their thing during the brutal summers here but it's not for me even when it's that hot out. Also, the lavash had pretty shallow grill marks and I would have enjoyed it toasted a little more. The veggies, the meat and the sauce all tasted good and fresh.

Kirk H.

Yelp
Falafel dough is house made and fried fresh to order. As good as it gets. Its just a window on an alley between Pisa Pizza, Sugar Shack and Ole Red Bar.

John B.

Yelp
I thought this was good. The service was real good. The hummus was good and plentiful. I saw in the reviews there's a half-order, but they must not have that anymore. The falafel was good, as well. Lately, when I get falafel, it's been very dry, but this hit the spot.

Pat K.

Yelp
Excellent! Overall a great value for the high cost of food on the strip. Ordered the chicken fries bowl and it came with an extra pita bread which was perfect for 2 people to share. Waited in line to order and about 10 minutes later - freshly made in front of my eyes.

Greg P.

Yelp
WOW! Just WOW! I was looking for something relatively inexpensive but yummy for take out while in Las Vegas and I came across this hidden gem. I saw that the reviews were pretty good so decided to give it a try. I ordered the beef n lamb Turkish pita with white (Tzatziki) sauce and red (chili garlic) sauce and I added feta cheese. It was sooooo gooood! The quality of the ingredients and the flavor just blew me away. I will definitely make this a must stop on future trips to Vegas!

Vamika K.

Yelp
This one Veg Shawrama is a proper one time meal for you. There was long but fast moving queue -- that too around midnight. This speaks volume about the taste of the food offered here. This place is quite famous as a street food take- away outlet .Would have loved to have a better seating arrangement. The surrounding is well lit up and lively.

David R.

Yelp
Excellent pita sandwich with beef and lamb. Fresh and tasty and seasoned richly without being overly salty at just enough spice. A great casual alternative to casino rip off restaurants.

Brittany H.

Yelp
Istanbul is THE ONE!!! All the sauces are good and the service is even better! I've had a pita as well as a French fries bowl so far and this is the closest to the flavors and freshness i experienced in London. Thanks to everyone for being so sweet and making my food fresh and hot!! Da Bomb!!

Austin C.

Yelp
The food here is flawless and the service it fun and inviting. Every time we come to Vegas we come here and enjoy the simple but delicious food! Plus it's fun you get to eat outside at a random table!

Natalie G.

Yelp
Great little walk up food place with a handful of hightop tables in the area right next to the Horseshoe Casino. Several choices from pita bread sandwiches, salads, and bowls with choice of meat or falafel for vegetarians. I ordered the lamb and beef plate. It came with salad, vegis, rice, a good portion of meat, and pita bread. The only negative was the meat was a bit dry this time usually it tastes fresher so may have been a bad day. Service was good, I got my food quickly.

Anitra T.

Yelp
I stumbled upon this place while walking to another restaurant and the smells and plate watching made me alter my original plans. This street vendor gem is worth visiting FOR SURE! It's located in what looks like an outdoor food hall. Even though it was the dead of summer, it is perfectly shaded with enough misters to keep you comfortable while you eat. On to the food: I ordered the pita sandwich with the meat mix (chicken, lamb, beef) and my husband ordered the rice bowl with lamb/beef. The flavor was incredible exceptional. It was served fresh, the meats were tender, the pitas were soft and warm, the sauces were delicious...there was seriously no complaints. Well, 1, but it hardly qualifies. The gyro didn't come with fries, they need to be ordered separately. That small oversight definitely didn't ruin my experience, it just would have put it over the top. The service was just as great as the food. The nice, black girl was super kind and made sure we understood how to order. This is one Vegas spot I can't wait to return to.

Derek C.

Yelp
Small stall outside of horseshoe, but definitely is worth it. The line outside of it proves its success in serving Mediterranean food that just hits the spot. 3.9/5 - Beef n Lamb Sandwich - Get the beef n Lamb as I feel like I get to try both meats at once with all the sauces. Every sauce works well with this type of meat and veggies and goes well together. I was recommended the sandwich instead dog wrap or bowl and I think that was the wrong choice. Bun wasn't toasted at all and just was the only letdown of the entire order. I think a plate or wrap would do this justice

Lety S.

Yelp
It's an excellent healthy food choice, I ordered a pita sandwich type. It was fresh tasting and filling @ $14 each. The staff is friendly, the cook's buzzing around the meat , making sure is cooked to perfection. Offers limited seating. It's located after the Miracle Mile, just outside where Bally's entrance existed. It's worth the little walk on the strip. Parking is available at all casinos for a fee!

Molly L.

Yelp
SCAM SCAM!!! There is no LAMB!!!..... dont be fooled this is not a gyro !!... this is some cheap cheap dry crusty beef that doesn't belong on any type of food for human consumption. They "CLAIM" the lamb and beef are stacked and mixed together... lol .....NO HONEY THERE IS NO LAMB WHATSOEVER!!... I know I know it's a hole in the wall on the strip ...... BUT.... I hate false advertisement.... Don't waste nearly $20 on a FAKE gyro .... You're better off going to the subway 10 steps away from this joke of a place, I mean at least you know whats going to be on your sandwich at subway. JS... would give 0 star if possible!!

Lorenzo M.

Yelp
Got the mix Turkish pita. Pita was crispy. The lamb, beef, and chicken were flavorful. House sauce had a good kick. Portions were good as well.

Bennie S.

Yelp
Ran across this place headed to eat somewhere else. I put on the walking breaks real fast when I saw the four spits of meat. I got the rice bowl, beef and lamb with onion and garlic sauce and the food was delicious! Portion size was way above what I expected. I ate half of my order and felt like I had thanksgiving dinner. The meat was tender and flavorful and the sauce didn't overpower the food but enhance it. So good.

Tarannum K.

Yelp
Tried their combo wrap. chicken+beef+lamb, Garlic sauce, with pickles, tomato and onions. Price was around $18. The amount is good enough. Taste wise not so good. We have better Mediterranean restaurants here in Vegas. You can try once though. Taste varies from person to person.

Angelica L.

Yelp
Overall: 4/5 ("dine in") Istanbul Mediterranean is located in an alleyway of food vendors and is the first or second one near the entrance. We came around 10:30 PM on a Monday night so there was no wait and our food came out quickly. There are some tables set up along the wall on the opposite side of the vendors so that's where we sat to eat. Mix Doner Wrap ($15.95): The mix doner includes beef, lamb, & chicken. They don't actually mix the proteins together but just put it all in the wrap in segments. This was an issue with sharing the wrap since when they cut it in half, one side had lamb & beef while the other side had beef & chicken. Unfortunately, we didn't realize it sooner until near the end of our wrap. However, all 3 proteins were really good. The meats were well-seasoned, not dry, & tasty. For the sauce, we got the tzatziki with a bit of tahini; both were good & gave the wrap more flavor. In terms of portion size, the wrap is a bit small so if you're sharing just a wrap with someone else, you might still be hungry. Onion Rings ($5.95): The portion size for the onion rings was big. The rings had a lot of batter and barely any onion. Some rings were good & some were too salty so it was like playing Russian roulette. Wouldn't get it again.

Nick G.

Yelp
Located at the grand bazaar shops at Horseshoe hotel. Line was huge so you know it had to be good. Staff was friendly. Waited around 15 minutes for food. Which isn't too bad. But given there was a big line it was worth it. Ordered the Rice Bowl with Beef and Lamb. And rice and lettuce with house sauce. And hummus on the side. The bowl was absolutely delicious. Cooked to perfection. I don't know what was in the house sauce but it was so good. Unbelievable. The hummus was amazing as well especially with the sweet red peppers on top. Highly recommend.

Mark B.

Yelp
Always been curious about this place for quite some time. There's always a long line here. It was over an hour wait to order. Pretty quick to get your food once it's ordered. My son and I waited in this line. It was worth it to try it. We had the chicken pita sandwich, beef and lamb wrap, and rice with lamb and beef. Pretty good. The only complaint is they don't provide bags if you have a large order.

Saul R.

Yelp
I got the rice plate with mixed meat and it did not disappoint! I had the onions, pickles lettuce, tomatoes, tzatziki, tahini, and house sauce. It was all very good but the Lamb is what stood out, delicious and not gamey. The pita was also better than what I'm used to especially for fast food. I definitely recommend stopping by when you are in Vegas!

Dayana V.

Yelp
The service was nice but the food was nothing to rave over. It wasn't bad but I've had better.

Tanusree M.

Yelp
This might have been one of my favorite meals in Vegas! This is a small shop right outside of Bally's (now Horseshoe) and it serves to-go only. There are some seats next to the restaurant, but it's usually full. There is also usually a long-ish line at all hours of the day. I actually stopped here twice on one trip to Vegas because I liked it so much. Now it's a go-to whenever I'm in Vegas and looking for a cheap(ish) and quick meal. I usually get the pita wrap and that's been my favorite so far. I've also tried the burrito-style wrap, but did not like it that much due to the lavash bread they use, I find it too thin. The plate option is SO much food, definitely get that if you are planning to share with someone. Overall, highly recommend and can't wait to go back!

D W.

Yelp
Great lunch or cheap dinner choice in Vegas. We ordered the mixed bowl (beef/lamb and chicken). It was very tasty but not a standout or particularly unique. I'd equate to a typical bowl that you'd get at any solid or local favorite Mediterranean restaurant. The bowl was a very large portion, which we split between two people. My only tip is to ask for the sauce (in our case, tzatziki) on the side. I love tzatziki but it was a little heavy handed and would have preferred on the side. PS: The restaurant is in a strip mall type area and is very difficult to find a place to sit and eat. We ended up squatting at another restaurant's outdoor seating.

Anissa R.

Yelp
I forgot how dang good this place is! I'm not sure how this place does it, but I was so satisfied with my wrap and yet somehow it still felt like a relatively healthy meal. Maybe because it's all the pickled veggies inside. The secret to Istanbul is when you order your meal, make sure to get ALL OF THE SAUCES! The friendly cashier let me know that as long as the sauces are on the dish, there's no extra charge. So, I did just that! The sauces really took the meat-stuffed wrap to the next level! If you want a quick bite to eat that fills you up and leaves you extremely satisfied, check this late-night staple out!

Ruslan S.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem and is affordable, fills by and delicious. The service is decently fast and incredibly kind. The ambience is ok with it being more of a street food stall.

Grant H.

Yelp
Great spot to grab a quick lunch or dinner on the strip! Reasonably priced compared to other options.

Jennifer D.

Yelp
Istanbul Mediterranean is one of the best options for food on the strip. It is tucked away among a bunch of other little shops so using my phone to help navigate me to it was useful. I ordered a lamb and beef rice bowl for lunch and was really impressed. The meat was super tender and everything was very fresh and flavorful. The price was about $20 for my meal which is pretty standard for strip prices. However, the portion size was large and I was able to break it up into two meals. The rice bowl is also served with a warm pita!

Stef L.

Yelp
This was our second time back at Istanbul Mediterranean. And during our short weekend trip in Vegas we actually went back twice. We love coming here, it's an affordable option that doesn't break the bank, it gets you full and it's amazing food. I actually talked to the new manager and she is from Germany where Döner is the most common "fast food". The service is amazing and there are a couple chairs to eat there or you can take it to your hotel. It is the closest to a real Döner that I had in the United States. We will definitely be back.

Nicole B.

Yelp
Oh my goodness this place is so good! They are open late. We went to Ole Red and stopped by here after. This might have been the best meal all week. Highly recommend this place! I got a pita sandwich with chicken and everything else. Will be back!

Sadig A.

Yelp
If you're craving authentic on the go Mediterranean flavors on the strip, look no further than this gem of a restaurant. Their beef, chicken, and lamb wraps, bowls, and salads are bursting with deliciousness, transporting your taste buds straight to the sun-soaked shores of the Mediterranean. The only available seating is outside on the main walkway, which wasn't bad. Despite the wait time, which can stretch up to an hour and a half during peak hours, the savory aromas and tantalizing tastes make every minute worth it. Our own wait was just over an hour, but chatting with fellow patrons revealed that some endured longer waits before savoring their meals. So, if you're planning a visit, keep that in mind and adjust your schedule accordingly; trust me, the flavors are worth the wait.

Rob D.

Yelp
Arrived to Vegas later in the evening and was craving some food. Didn't want to grab anything at my hotel so I ventured out to find a quick bite. Found Istanbul and the great reviews so off I went. I grabbed a beef / lamb Pita and enjoyed the goodness. This is a walk up place that has a simple menu. Food and portions are good, especially if you are on the go. I would come here again for a late night snack.

Jason F.

Yelp
Food was really good and fast, like unexpectedly good. The food truck atmosphere leaves a little to be desired, but the price point and location were good. The baklava was kinda soggy and not what you'd get at a real Mediterranean restaurant though.

Jeff S.

Yelp
This is the first time that I have ever been to Las Vegas and this was for a business trip. The one thing I took out of this trip was that eating here is quite expensive. I was looking for a someplace local that I could walk to that was affordable and fresh. I found this by accident one night as I was on my way to CVS. I decided to look up the reviews and I was sold. The next day, I went directly there after my classes. I ordered the Combo Rice bowl with all the veggies , white and house sauce. It came with a warm pita. As I opened it up I noticed it had pickles on it. I had never had a bowl like this that had pickles, I was used to fresh cucumber. As I took my first bite I knew why they put pickles on it. The burst of tang that I got from the pickles was perfect. The sauces were delish and the rice. Omg the rice was pillowy soft, moist and delicious. The whole bowl was wonderful. The price was perfect for the strip and I didn't have to settle for a dried up slice of overpriced pizza that was cooked 4 hours ago. If you want something fresh, affordable, and delicious, this is the place!

Joe Y.

Yelp
So good!! Stopped in for a quick bite to eat. Had the pita with lamb and beef and a side of fries. There was no line and only took about 5 mins to get the food. I will definitely return in future trips to Vegas

Derek M.

Yelp
This place had me at the beef lamb gyro, and it did not disappoint. My gyro was loaded with beef/lamb meat, sauce, and toppings. Everything about it was delicious, and the food portions were huge. I am definitely going back the next time I'm in the area. I want my wife to try the chicken gyro with me next time.

Project Pat H.

Yelp
This place gives out huge portions at a decent price for very good food. Honestly I'd take this place over almost all the high end food joints I been to out here on the strip. Stay trill y'all. 5 stars.

Kacee B.

Yelp
Been wanting to try this place but it is always packed with a long line! I went on a weekday and the line was actually short, so I finally got to check it out. The have 2 main things: pita bread or wrap style. The protein are decent, about 4,5 choices--I just stopped scrolling after seeing "beef and lamb" as the first line item of protein choices. Once you decide on that, they'll ask what kind of sauce you want (about 4 diff ones) and all the fixings if you want them all (onions, tomatoes, pickles, etc) Once done ordering, you get a beeper for when your food is ready. The food: Seriously yummy, I just woofed mine down happily! The wrap is thinner than the pita bread, so if you want a little less carbs, wraps would be the way to go. Every bite is equally delicious! If you are in the Bally's area, definitely give them a try...so very yummy and inexpensive (for the strip).

Kevin P.

Yelp
Hidden gem at the heart of the strip. Located in front of Ballys/horseshoe in the busy shopping area. You'll see a huge line here at all times but they work fast. Beef and lamb wrap: 5/5, amazing and flavorful. It is stacked heavy and and the sauce is not overwhelming. Flavors are all there. Worth the $13 (2022). Ask for extra napkins!

Clifton I.

Yelp
This place is located in front of the Horseshoe (fka Ballys). Service was fast and the food came out even faster. There is limited seating outside. I ordered the beef and lamb pita sandwich with house and spicy sauces. The portion size is large. I recomend this place if you want a quick bite to eat.

Andrew N.

Yelp
Great late night meal! They open up very late and serve you really fast. It was very crowded when I went, however, i only waited 5 minutes to get my food out. They have many options here, but I went with the mix(beef, lamb, chicken) bowl with lettuce, red onions and their most popular sauces. ($20) Meat is cooked to perfection and moist with every bite. They be blasting music to keep the vibe great! Outdoor seating available.

Justin C.

Yelp
Gave me food poisoning. Flavorless, plastic-tasting meat, rude staff. Bland/gross condiments and toppings that have probably not been refrigerated for a couple of days. Have fun ejecting molten liquid from every hole in your body. If you're wasted and reading this, look elsewhere, you'll be better off.

Andrew L.

Yelp
2 AM in Vegas and needing some food to get on the strip, this is definitely a place to get if you are craving any Mediterranean food. I personally got their beef and lamb rice bowl with everything on it and their white and red sauce. I first have to say I love how fast it was. Got there and got our food within 10 minutes so we could walk back and enjoy the rest of our night. In terms of their food, my favorite part was definitely the meat and how they gave a lot of it. It was really savory and flavorful with the sauces and made such a great late night snack to fill me up. The red sauce was definitely a bit more on the spicier side for me so I was definitely dying near the end of it but totally worth it. The rest of the dish for me was alright and not that memorable, but otherwise put together with the meat and the sauce it was very tasty. Would most likely come back again for another late night bite :)

Sam B.

Yelp
"Absolutely delicious Turkish döner! The flavors are authentic and mouthwatering. The meat is perfectly seasoned and tender, and the bread is fresh and fluffy. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend trying their döner if you're craving a taste of Turkey!"
