Perhaps it's not the most authentic, perhaps they don't have the ultimate best seasoning, nor is it the quietest Greek restaurant in the city; but what they do, they do well and they do it consistently. They would even put some fast-food chains to shame for their efficiency and precision. After all the years the quality has stayed constant and the service is always on it. Fast yet not too fast, friendly but not overly, attentive while not feeling robotic.
I really enjoy their pakilia platter which is a mix of various appetizers and their house salad has a fabulous dressing and texture. It's crave worthy as is their garlic toast. Their portions are also ample and it's usually a challenge to finish. You can barely manage to fit in the liquorice flavoured candy which taste a lot like ouzo (but who's complaining).
The dining area is filled with substantial booths in a maze-like setup. They are dark walnut with some sort of paisley patterned material covering the cushions or perhaps it's just beige, but for some reason I recall it having a motif of some sort. Either way it's very simple, straight forward and fits with the overall efficient nature of the place. They surely do know what they know, and it's apparent by all the repeat and loyal customers they have created.
