Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart teams up with Marble Brewery to create a new beer | Eater Vegas

"I learned that Marble Brewery will be the exclusive local outlet for a new Japanese-inspired rice lager called Day Ghost; the beer is 4.8 percent ABV and is being offered in a tall-boy 19.2-ounce can, available exclusively at all Marble Brewery locations beginning July 1." - Susan Stapleton

Google
Great Albuquerque brewery with multiple locations around the city. The downtown location has some of the most friendly and helpful brewery bartenders I’ve ever encountered. Shout out to Joel who found out I was from out of town and gave me recs of some of his favorite local places—what a brand amabassador for Marble Brewing! My only complaint—I visited two locations and both were “out” of brewery stickers. That’s a major downer for someone who visits hundreds of breweries and collects them as souvenirs from my visit. I don’t mind paying for one if it ensures it stays in stock.

Google
Good place after new ownership. New beer selection that have been better after new investor ownership. Still thinking it’s not quality beer kick other breweries but they are trying to get back to the top. The good location and good setup has ala ways been there for sure always.

Google
The staff at this particular location is awful. Westside and heights are both great but the downtown location employees all act like they hate their jobs. They are so rude and make everything difficult. I wish it was different, I have tried to give them multiple chances thinking one bad experience was just an off day but now after multiple issues getting in, ordering drinks and even just finding a place to sit, it is definitely not a fluke. I wish management would step up and fix this because this location could be amazing if it wasn't for the staff. I love the live music and the vibe and location but the awful staff ruin it all! Please do better, make changes, read the other reviews about the staff, they are the only negative comments, hold them accountable for their attitudes!

Google
What an excellent brewery! I had a hazy ipa, the guys with me had a light crevasses. The place has a great vibe with casual music, plenty of seating, and is very clean. No food, but a food truck was outside. Oh yeah, our 3 beers was only $15 a round. Greta place, if you’re in Albuquerque, out Marble Brewery on you list.

Dion R.

Google
The staff was a amazing but the bar back girl and the young gentleman were so attentive and made sure we were taken care of. The bartenders also did such a good job. I love the vibe.. everyone was so nice!!!

Doug

Google
Always great beer but they should open the roof top a little earlier during Balloon Fiesta. 29 January 2023 update: Did an IPA/hop focused brew class at the Marble downtown location and really enjoyed it. Andrew & Greg were great teachers and tour guides.

Google
Nice place, very nice crowd. Good fries, ok food, good drinks. The staff were first weird then nice, or maybe I just misread their tone when they asked for an ID. Its location is very convenient; close to major convention centers and the such.

Sam K.

Google
One of the most awarded breweries in town, leaning toward lagers instead of IPAs but good at both. Neat, multi-level indoor/outdoor space. Super friendly staff, even gave us extra stickers to slap on stuff. Visited during a vendors market - cool. Some street parking, parrot taken up by two food trucks.

Yelp
Have been here more times than I can count. No, I'm not a lush . . . but I discovered Marble when I first moved back to Albuquerque six years ago. It was the first brewery that a friend took me to and I have continued to return. Yes, I have been to many of the other breweries that have popped up around town, but I still come back to Marble. Why? Beer is excellent. Service is also excellent. Both the inside atmosphere and the outside patio are very comfortable. Food? They don't have food. Well, wait a minute . . . they always have food trucks. Many a dinner has come from one of the conveniently located food trucks right outside their front patio. Always good. Large parking lot. And live music happens on designated evenings. Are they the best in town? Not sure, but they definitely have something unique that keeps bringing me back.

Yelp
I was here for the Yelp Tikka Spice Food Truck event. They cannot sell beverages, so I got a bottle of Zia Rootbeer to go with my burrito. It was a warm day, without any wind, to enjoy sitting out on the patio. It was a quiet Thursday. I spotted a woman here wearing a Marble Brewing tee shirt in a pale peach color. I went inside and bought one too, to add to my summer wardrobe! A Railrunner train passed by on its way to Santa Fe, clanging as it pulled out of the Albuquerque station, and it added to my enjoyment.

Yelp
I've been to this location, the original, of Marble various times over the years, and I've always had a good experience. They host great live music days- for their birthday, a bluegrass festival (my favorite kind of live music), etc. When the weather is warm enough, it's all outside on their uniquely-decorated outdoor stage, with lots of patio space on that level and upstairs. It gets very crowded for these events though, so people have to be okay with that. One time I came here on a Monday with a group of friends for my birthday, and it was a great time. They allowed us to bring in any food we wanted and a full cake, balloons, etc, and we mostly had the place to ourselves. I've always enjoyed their beers. Unfortunately they got rid of some of my favorites- the wildflower wheat which was a great low bitterness summer beer, and I think they got rid of the stout I really liked too. But I do get they want to change things up, and it's fun to try new selections. They bring in some really good food trucks during events and otherwise, like Tikka Spice, a pizza one, etc. It's good to know I can get good vegetarian food when I go there typically. The upstairs patio they added awhile back is great- large, excellent views of the city, spacious, areas to lounge, all kinds of seating.

Yelp
When last visiting the area, we discovered Marble beer as they were a vendor at a local event; enjoying our selections, we decided to journey to the brewery home-base to sample more varieties-but the visit didn't go as expected- they offer inside tables, outdoor patio tables, and upper deck seating- we found a spot on the upper deck, and settled in waiting on the music promoted to start at 5pm- though discovered the band didn't plan on starting until 6pm, just slowly set up starting at 5pm- ordering beer at the downstairs bar, I was further dismayed to discover the majority of their IPAs listed weren't available, and the reason for the very very long line was patrons were only able to purchase one beer per person, which was a pain when husband was at our seat with the kids & I just wanted to run downstairs for our beers to bring them up- made a long tiring experience, we ended up drinking our beer & leaving before the band even started because we didn't feel like battling for space, line waits, and the promise of eventual music- I do like Marble beer, but much rather buy take-out for Total Wine

Yelp
We came here late tonight with a party of eight. There's a long line to get your order in for drinks, but nice gentleman waved us over towards the end of the bar where we sat down and he got our drinks out right away. More than likely because I was with a bunch of really, good looking women and I must've been the obligatory guy. Drinks are spot on, but beware, there is no food. There are food trucks outside so you can order whatever you want as we did and the food was perfect! There's a live band playing right now and they are very good.the place is very cool and very chill with staff that are very friendly and attentive. The establishment is clean and safe! Highly advised to come check this out downtown on a Friday night! Good times!
google avatar

Yzer C.

Yelp
Definitely a more "inner city" vice here! Industrial area. Even the food trucks were more city. Beer hall interior, giant patio and large upper deck. Big stage with live music advertised. Asked for a beer I enjoyed at their Westside location (Krispy Klean) and was told, "we don't serve that shit here!" Like I said, inner city vibe. Unless there's a band I want to see, no reason to visit again.

Yelp
Stopped by marble brewery to catch a friend's concert the other weekend. I'd never been here before so I was excited to check it out. The place was packed when we came so we had to wait outside by the bouncer for a moment until enough people had left that we could come in. Their is a nice, big indoor space with a bar and a solid outdoor space with a well mural'd backdrop and space for standing and some sitting in the back. The vibes were great, the music was awesome, and the whole crowd was having a lot of fun there. I didn't order any drinks there, but I did try my partner's one. She asked the bartender to make her something that wasn't a beer so he had free range to do what he wanted. We still don't know what it was he made, but it was tasty - sweet, smooth, and fragrant. Lines were really long to get a drink, and it was definitely overcrowded for me, but good place to hang out for sure!

Yelp
Cute spot with so many beer choices! They have a little something for everyone. They have indoor and outdoor seating.
google avatar

Nella B.

Yelp
Whenever I'm back home, this is my go-to spot! The servers are always so upbeat, and the music is consistently on point. My favorite drink is the Wildflower Wheat--definitely a must-try! If it's in season, like it is now, try the Pumpkin Noir. They always have food trucks nearby if you're in the mood for a quick bite.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
Was nearby and decided to stop by and I am glad I did. They have been in business for over 15 years in the area (multiple locations). I drank a flight of beers (really liked the Thunder from Dortmunder (which won Silver medal)). Service was quick, friendly, and attentive (thanks Matt). They have events check social media (FB) and their website. They have food trucks for events and a limited snacks menu. I would highly recommend drinking here. If nearby give it a try. Enjoy!!

Yelp
Good brewery, super tasty beers and great food trucks outside! Service was great and place was fun and loud on a Wednesday night!

Kimberly R.

Yelp
My husband and I ordered our first ever keg (I know, we're late to partying) ahead of the 4th of July weekend and Patrick on the phone went above and beyond to be helpful. He went seeking answers to questions about available beers in a way that felt, to me, was something he didn't need to do in order to make the order or accomplish the job. He made it clear he wanted to make sure we were happy with what we wanted and that we had the best experience possible. His quality customer service was greatly appreciated and (based on experiences in other places) quite rare. Also, from our conversation I determined he is a True Beer Lover and has the best taste in beer (which, duh--he works for Marble Brewery!). Kudos to Patrick and to Marble as a whole!
google avatar

Loann H.

Yelp
Cute little brewery with live music on certain days. They have an indoor, outdoor, and outdoor upstairs patio to enjoy the view and fresh air. The beer tender was super friendly and let me try a few beers. Lots of space to hang out in and vibe out
google avatar

Yelp
This little brewery is awesome. Great beers and a cool vibe. I went to the bathroom and on of the staff put a coaster over my beer. Thats service. They had a couple of food trucks that smelled great but I didn't try. You need to go here fir a proper pint.

Yelp
Great beer. Great bartenders. A different food truck arrives every day. If you get a chance, order the Birria burrito.

Yelp
We had our first Desert Fog at the Cloudcroft Brewery many years ago. Had to come to the Mother Ship. Enjoyed our Desert Fogs and flight and also the New Mexi-Que food truck!

Yelp
This place has become an Albuquerque institution. If you are looking for great beer, wine, and cocktails, solid food trucks, live music, and fun people watching this is your spot. My husband's band has been performing at Marble Brewery downtown for years. The incredible mural behind makes for an unforgettable live performance . They have great sound and lights to boot. I don't drink beer anymore but when I did, this was always the good stuff. I loved their Cerveza and the Marble IPA and Double White are legendary (watch out they'll sneak up on you!) They now serve locally made spirits in the form of cocktails, the Gin & Tonic is fresh and floral. The Margarita has a bite, so ask for no jalapeños if you don't like spicy! Be sure to come out for a live show, the music will get you dancing and I especially love it when Don Choche food truck is here, their tacos are to die for. Plenty of free street and lot parking, and the upstairs deck makes for amazing sunset views.

Yelp
BEST Brewery in New Mexico @marblebrewery is my favorite brewery in NM. These guys are doing some amazing things. So refreshing to see this in Albuquerque. Some of the best brews in the game, a beautiful 2 story brewery, with an amazing canning operation in plain view behind the bar. With distribution all the way out to Cali, definitly pick some up if you see it, and stop by and say hi to MAX! Yelp
Was very happy to know they serve Athletic non-alcoholic beer! Looking forward to more non-alcoholic choices in the future! Perhaps nootropic beverages? *This is for the NE location ..
google avatar

Theresa W.

Yelp
This place just serves their beer and hard seltzers. Should be easy. Although we sat at the bar, we were never engaged by the staff. They just flirted and chatted among themselves. The beer was cold, but the seltzer was not as cold as anywhere else I bought it. When I asked for a glass of ice as the drink was not cold, was told they had no ice and they just pull them out of the refrigerator. Did I want beer instead ? No - I'm gluten sensitive. The place was busy, so people obviously like their beer. You can get this brand all over the city, so I would do that instead.

Yelp
My friend and I were visiting over the weekend. Stopped by and weren't greeted or attended to. No smiles or friendly bartenders. Our beers were good but that's about it.
google avatar

Michael Z.

Yelp
Stopped in for a beer yesterday and was once again reminded that for as much as I love the NNJ area, we really are slacking in cool spots. This brewery has an outdoor patio, inside seating, and a rooftop bar. Great playlist, better beer. Super friendly staff and plenty of seating and parking. Will definitely come back next time I'm in town.
google avatar

Crystal N.

Yelp
Such a cool brewery! Great patio space and spacious indoor seating. We purchased a flight (six four ounce pours) and were pleased with the selection. They're a solid offering of some of your typical beer styles like an IPA, brown ale, and stout, but they also have more unique styles like cream ales and wee heavy scotch ales. Very friendly service and they were really great with enforcing COVID19 precautions, including taking down information to ensure contact tracing.

Yelp
We were recommended Marble on our recent stay. What a great recommendation! Not only is the place comfortably eclectic but the selection of crafted beers was amazing. Something for everyone here! Cassie took excellent care of our five-ship and we wanted for nuthin' while there. The venue serves up street food with a couple trucks off the patio. Great menus there and you'll get a number for your order. The foods comes quick and fresh too! I had the lamb burger (bun less of course) and veggie trimmings and the chili fries (yeah I know). The lamb was very nicely prepared, juicy and flavorable and the fixings were fresh and full of goodness. The fries were perfectly seasoned with a noticeable kick of heat and smoke - very good things! One of our group had street tacos with kimchi - now, I know you're thinking kimchi? ... in New Mexico ... and from a food truck? .... But hey now, it was awesomely good. Whoa! I love good kimchi and this was very nicely done! I had a couple Passionate Gose's. Tart/sour and very cold. A perfect for me. You know that sour edge is something to be treaded lightly because it can go really sour, almost distractingly bitter, in a snap. Not this one, from the hand of an expert brewmaster. Perfectly balanced and refreshing. NM soccer was on the TV and clearly a local crowd fave. The team was cleaning up on Dallas and the crowd was all over it. Created another level of energy that was fun to join! Service inside and out was great, we had no trouble parking close by, but I could see that as a challenge when things get super busy. No matter for us. A great firstie and a place we'll return to next time!

Yelp
Love marble and we have come to the downtown marble once before but I like the place. They have upstairs seating and plenty of things going on. Today is live music and pumpkin painting for the kiddos. Try the double white it is great!! The views of downtown are so nice from here, yeah you have to deal with limited parking but it is great. Atmosphere is awesome here
google avatar

Emma H.

Yelp
Good selection of beers. Friendly stuff. Nice and clean space. When I went they had a food truck which I always like. Parking is very limited which sucks. I will definitely be back!
google avatar

Jimmy N.

Yelp
Great local beer selection staff is extremely friendly and helpful we are from out of town and made us feel very welcome this is a must stop if your in town.
google avatar

Mitchie B.

Yelp
This is by far one of our favorite breweries in the downtown area! Especially in the spring and summer when the upstairs is open. The service is always top notch! We enjoy visiting with our favorite server/bartender Val! As for the beer, it is the best! I usually order the pilsner but when feeling a little daring I will order the double white. It is a little heavier but nice for a summer change. My husband on the other hand, he likes the red which he was a little sad to hear it had been changed. He also prefers the ambers, so between the two of us, we enjoy our fair share. Marble has been around for quite some time and it is great to support our local breweries!
google avatar

Yelp
I'll be honest with you. I was not expecting much of New Mexico's craft beer scene. When you're from the Pacific Northwest you're just spoiled. But when I told my friend who's an ABQ native that I was visiting her hometown and asked for recommendations, she mentioned that Marble Brewery was the best brewery in the entire state. I didn't have many beers during our too-short-of-time in New Mexico, but Marble Brewery truly was, by far, the best beer I tasted. Any time I travel I like to order the local beers, which is what I did when we went out. I had a Marble Brewery IPA at a restaurant in Santa Fe and was hooked. Knowing that we were gonna be in Albuquerque the next couple of days, we made it a plan to visit the brewery. Holy crap was it such an awesome spot! We visited on a Friday night and the place was sooo fun! There was an outdoor stage, which we weren't expecting, nor were we expecting a live band out there performing when we arrived! With that said, the entire patio was packed, with prime views of the performance stage. Everyone was standing around, dancing, with a beer in hand. We ordered a sampler, which came with six four-ounce beers. I ordered all of the IPAs on the menu, including the Double IPA, which was my favorite. My boyfriend also liked the beers he ordered, including a hoppy stout. The beers here are really top-notch. It would do well in the Seattle area. I loved Marble Brewery. The live music, friendliest staff, chill vibe and awesome beers made me an instant fan. I'm so glad we visited Marble Brewery, making for a memorable Friday night and the beers exceeded all expectations.

Yelp
Great service. I received great recommendations and chose the Desert Fog IPA. Highly recommend for any IPA lovers!
google avatar

Penny G.

Yelp
Great beer selection and a cool vibe. Plenty of space both inside or on the covered patio. The Desert Fog DIPA was fabulous! We'll be back
google avatar

Anthony E.

Yelp
Tacos and beer! Great staff, good beer! Heaters! Lots of room! Get there early! Upstairs is the best, in the sun!

Doug P.

Yelp
It was a nice evening so I thought I would find a patio and enjoy a cool beer while I was in town for business. This brewery did not disappoint. Great selection of beer. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I recommend you stop in! The Traveling Salesman

Yelp
I really liked Marble Brewery but had to take away stars because of the beer limit. It's ridiculous they limit you to 3-4 beers depending on what you are drinking. So that means a 100 lb female is served the same amount as me, what about someone that had a few beers before coming to Marble, it's just a stupid rule. Otherwise, Marble gets everything right. Their beers are great, the food was delicious, the atmosphere and building are ideal, and the service was friendly. Damn shame they won't let me have more than 4 beers Snowing so we walked right by the large outdoor patio, thru the front doors and into the bar. The bar is in front of you with various seating on the right. The bar top is light black stone with no rail with a round steel footrest. The decor is dark with lots of wood. Everyone is very chill, probably because no one is drunk. I loved Marble, it's beer and food, and hope they will consider changing their beer limit.
google avatar

Amy L.

Yelp
Great beer, good vibes and wonderful staff! Love the food trucks as there is always a different food option.
google avatar

Mariah H.

Yelp
Great beer and merch! We were able to find a comfy spot on the patio and again comfy seating indoors when we visited the next night.

Michelle M.

Yelp
Staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the brewery has a good ambiance and design. They have a great selection of beers, seltzers, spirits and wines to fit everyone needs. Bonus they have gluten free options available! I tried the Passion Fruit Hard Seltzer and my husband had the IPA and the Desert Fog (which was his favorite).
google avatar

Eric B.

Yelp
I could honestly go on and on about how awesome this brewery is. Definitely the best in New Mexico from my research and experience. Came out to NM/Santa Fe/ABQ for the weekend and was dying for some of that Double White straight from the tap. Not only did I show up to a dance party with an awesome DJ spinning all vinyls, but they had called a special peach-infused version of the Double White! Talk about being in heaven! Subtle notes of peach paired well with the less hoppy yet still fairly strong brew. I followed it up with a bit of the Cholo Stout, again a heavier beer but with more hop character. As I didn't have that much time before my uber showed up to take me back to the airport, I quickly roamed the premises and found some pretty cool features: -Cornhole outside -Sick looking that wasn't overpriced -A super awesome rooftop patio with a view of the Sandia Mountains and downtown ABQ! If you've got even a little bit of time and find yourself in Albuquerque, don't miss out on Marble!
google avatar

Barbara A.

Yelp
From top to bottom: Plum Saison - suppose to be sour type beer, tastes like squirrel piss. DBL White doesn't taste as good as the can. Cholo Smooth - oily motor. Finks famous, okay, getting warmer. Desert Fog, only one finished. Jet Skis - Just don't...smells like fish food. Other drinks ordered was a mediocre tangerine seltzer and a Good red ale. Manager couldn't refund or swap for something different but luckily our server gave complimentary pour.. s/o to Jackson.
google avatar

Jim H.

Yelp
This is a really great place to have different types of beer. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. This place has a great atmosphere, wonderful servers and really good beer. I highly recommend having a cold beer here.
google avatar

Yelp
This place has an excellent beer selection, and great vibes as well. I really enjoyed sitting out on the patio and there was an excellent food truck to enjoy food while drinking. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Last weekend we came for an event on the patio. It was crowded beyond belief, but that's not what my review is about. I'm absolutely appalled at the lack of response to a patron being hit by a car directly outside of marble by a patron that had just left the bar. Considering many people here are regulars, management could have been more helpful. It took over 30 minutes for me to get the attention of a bartender then I waited even longer to get a manager. Over serving customers is a huge problem on busy days. The people at the door should be ensuring people leaving are not over-intoxicated or driving. The driver of a blue Nissan Titan acknowledge they didn't see my friend at all. They did stop briefly, but took off driving. The male driver's mirror broke from the impact and his tires ran over her foot. Had she not jumped out of the way and ran, he likely could have killed her as he was going way to fast and didn't stop at the sign. As a former server, I know how my previous jobs would have reacted and re-evaluated everything we were doing. We would have paused service, checked out how everyone was doing to ensure no more people were serving too much, addressed the door people about what to look for, and also seen if patrons witnessed anything. We would have even pulled camera footage to look for the person. Marble did nothing, they basically just said are you okay. I called the police and it was sad the response from an establishment that wants you to respect their drinking limits. I love the beer here, but at 9 months pregnant I'm not drinking and was clearly sober when this even occurred. I hope that management has better training and responses should this ever occur again.

Yelp
Marble hits all the stars when it comes to awesome breweries. Awesome, friendly service, great beers, a chill/fun environment, entertainment, and a variety of locations to choose from. Since moving to ABQ 1.5 years ago it's my fav out of the breweries that I've tried, which is saying a lot, given the vast amount of options we have here. Love the live music in the summer, sunset views from their upper deck, friendly service, and a fresh rotation of great beers; guaranteed to satisfy any palette. Since the release of their Hard Seltzer (which is one of my favs) you can even bring your non-beer loving buds with you for a good time. The location itself doesn't offer food but they did one better- several different food trucks on rotation depending on the day/time of day, all of which promise to satisfy your palette. My favorite is Kitsune but honestly it's hard to pick given all the great options. Also, depending on your mood/vibe you can check out their different taprooms, all of which offer their own unique environment. The location in the heights is a bit of an elevated brewery offering, and they offer some cool events like culinary classes and yoga. 111 (Downtown) is the one I visit most often. It's dog friendly, has outdoor and indoor seating, and hosts a variety of block party-type events throughout the year. Definitely check it out!

Yelp
Special event that they planned for weeks. Upstairs bar is closed main bar has one very slow bartender. I would avoid this place, there are plenty of breweries in town that have customer service.
google avatar

Scott G.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the vibe at marble brewery. It just so happened that I walked into a music festival, and the place was jumping. The line to get a drink was a bit long but that's to be expected considering the amount of people there for the music festival. The beer was very tasty, and the bartender was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the different brews. They had two food trucks outside catering to the crowd. I very much enjoyed my time here, although it was very crowded and a little confusing so I don't know if I will head back therewhile I am in Albuquerque
google avatar

Gerrit K.

Yelp
Probably the best brewery location in Albuquerque with a great layout, live entertainment, delicious food trucks, tons of beer options, plenty of staff to be able to provide great service, and plenty of seating options to appeal to whatever your mood is each time. Definitely in my top ten of favorite breweries when it comes to the beer itself too. Plenty of seasonal options makes it a tantalizingly new experience each time I drop by as well

Yelp
Let's see what's brewing? Mmmm beer and it's cold so why not. Went here Friday!! So yes it was packed but.. they have a very cool outdoor seating area! And I'm not sure if they were heaters or the lights have off that much heat but it really helped since inside was packed. They also had 2 food trucks outside. I didn't get anything but still you can have beer and your choice of tacos or kabobs. Parking is a bit of an issue when it's packed though. They have a variety of beers and flavors. I'm not a beer fan but it's cool to find breweries that have so many options I end up finding something I like. Great place to meet people and chill!
