Marble Distilling & The Distillery Inn

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Marble Distillery Inn and am blown away by my stunning experience. Feeling really grateful to have met mastermind Connie, husband/vibes curator Carey and hilarious son Cormac! We were treated so well and highly recommend this distillery tour and a few nights stay to this quaint mountain town! I’m picky with cocktail design and am impressed with the selection! They recommended for us to go on an adventure to Penny Hot springs as well and the beautiful wellness center True Nature. Highly recommend!!! Thank you Marble Distillery ❤️

The advantage of being a smaller inn is the personal and attentive service you receive from the owner! For Thanksgiving, as all food options were closed, the host provided a continental breakfast option for the guests! Wonderful! Room is large and updated and comfortable! Bathroom and OMG the shower was heavenly! We didn’t get to the distillery below, just too much to do during the day! But definitely the place to stay in Carbondale!

What a great stay and experience. My wife found the Distillery Inn for a getaway to Glenwood Springs. We've stayed in many of the Glenwood hotels and they're fine. Carbdondale is 14 miles away and 20-25 minutes. It is a beautiful drive between the two and was great exploring another mountain town.||The Distillery Inn is a breath of fresh air. They offer five rooms. One is downstairs adjacent to the distillery and tasting room. It is handicap accessible. The other four are just up a few sets of stairs and have their own balconies. The room we stayed in Ginger is gorgeous. It is modern and offers a ton of space. The bathroom is large with a closet with safe, large counter with oversized sink, bathroom with sliding door and walk in shower with rain and handheld heads. The bed was very comfortable with high quality sheets. There is a gas fireplace and coffee machine and mini fridge. They do offer a minibar and their own spirits to buy. The room had a couch and desk as well as a patio with two chairs to relax in.||On the second floor is an outdoor patio with several tables to sit at. We took advantage of unseasonably warm weather in November to eat meals at. The patio has a beautiful view of Carbondale. They provide daily newspapers and in the hallway for the rooms are additional coffee pods, plates and silverware for eating in your room. ||The owner Connie was extremely helpful going above and beyond to surprise my wife with flowers. She gave me different options and the vase and flowers were in the room when we checked in. She answered questions we had and helped us troubleshoot a small problem with some of the technology.||The tasting room is gorgeous. We didn't spend much time there but enjoued live music from the patio (with fireplace) just outside. ||They have reserved parking for Inn guests behind the building in the alley. They do have free charging for electric vehicles which is very uncommon. We did buy a few bottles of their Moonlight Espresso and Whiskey and they are both delicious and oh so drinkable. ||The downtown of Carbondale was quiet but filled with lots of restaurants, shops and mountain hospitality. ||Looking forward to returning to the Distillery Inn on future visits.

We stayed here for 2 nights in September and loved it. Super nice location close to restaurants/shops but still quiet. The rooms are really nice and thoughtfully done. Would absolutely come back and stay again! Also really like that it's dog-friendly (we didn't bring our dog but nice to have the option)

Second lovely stay at the Distillery Inn. The "Ginger" room is very well appointed with a comfortable king bed, tons of pillows, fireplace, outdoor deck and spacious shower with enormous rain head. Ridiculously quiet. The only disappointment was the bar wasn't open, it was great place for cocktails the last time we visited. Maybe next time!

We were just in the area visiting from Denver and stopped by for a quick visit. Initially we were disappointed because they were closed, however they had some overnight guests doing a tasting, so they friendly ladies welcomed us in. Seems like a super cool place to stay overnight. Their whiskey was so delicious, smooth, and unique. We appreciated their wonderful hospitality and spirits! I’d definitely go back when wer are back in the area.

What a gem of a sanctuary! I’ve been wanting to stay at the Distillery Inn for some time, and finally had the pleasure to do so, this past week. It’s everything I imagined and more! Our room (Ginger) had a spaciously comfortable lounge area/desk, with an outdoor deck view of mystical Mount Sopris. Every detail is thought out lovingly… uniquely beautiful historic artwork on the walls and a well appointed wet bar. The front patio, overlooking town and the dramatic cliffs of Red Hill, adorned with potted aspens and colorful annuals, is relaxing and serene. We look forward to enjoying the renovated tasting room and adjoining fire place lounge this winter!

The Distillery Inn is an absolute gem! We have traveled both domestically and abroad and our stay at this Inn is one we will cherish and hope to repeat! Let me begin by saying that the reviewer who was dismayed by box elder bugs has sadly denied himself the opportunity to look past a ridiculous complaint to enjoy a remarkable experience. We stayed in the Yule room and it was quiet, clean, and super comfortable. The rain shower is amazing and we enjoyed the gas fireplace on cool early mornings and in the late evening. Outstanding cocktails were made to order and placed in our frig to enjoy at our leisure along with the perfect ice cube to accompany the perfect Old Fashioned. The staff are attentive, solicitous, and kind. The Inn is truly a quiet and tranquil oasis and is perfectly situated at the end of Main St. in the charming town of Carbondale. Everything you could need or want is just a short walk away. We cannot wait to return the next time our travels take us from the East Coast to the stunning Roaring Fork Valley! Cheers!

Came here with two girlfriends for a pre dinner cocktail and yum! We all had the same drink, a cucumber gin in a coupe glass. It was a little sour and so refreshing! We sat at the bar and the bartender was super nice and chatted with us for a bit. Only bummer was that we ordered a bruschetta board when we sat down and it took about 30 minutes for it to get delivered to our table. However it was delicious once we got it (it was supposed to come with four different bruschetta but we got three). The tomato and mozzarella one was a standout!

Wow. I have NOT visited the distillery, but I bought a bottle of curated Hoover's Revenge. A very bright, fresh, whiskey, with uncommon depth and complexity. The whiskey uses a tritcale grain which is a cross between wheat and rye. This grain is normally used for livestock feed. It makes a whiskey that has the sweetness and smoothness of wheat with the fire and liveliness of rye. Plus the marble filtering leaves a very clean product where the grains and the barrel shine through. The mash bill also includes barley. I tasted, and acquired this bottle at The Vault at Stanley in Estes Park. The bottle was a revelation. I am now adding this distillery on my list of 'must visit' in Colorado.

Awesome place- we loved the decor and ambiance. Owners were top notch! They were closed for spring cleaning on a Wednesday when we stopped in, but they sold us a few bottles and we learned all about their brand and story. Highly recommend!!!

This is a must stay if you are in the area. The rooms are magnificently detailed. Waterfall shower, Nespresso coffee machine, Italian linens, plush robes, fireplace etc. You deserve to treat yourself! ---the distillery is producing very fine spirits and the mixologist know just what to do with them. Cocktails are spot on and just a walk from your room. Heaven yall!

Marble Distilling is a fantastic distillery-bar-hotel in Carbondale. From the atmosphere, to the cocktails, to the overall vibe - it's a great place. We did not try the food although the menu looks good. We *did* stay in the hotel above the distillery and do recommend it for a getaway weekend. Very dog friendly - Leia is the Australian Shepherd host - with canine treats & water bowls for furry friends. There was live music at one point. Closed Mondays.

Definitely enjoyed this place in Carbondale after Peppinos for dinner. The atmosphere here was fantastic. The bartenders were slammed but still did a great job being attentive and serving fantastic drinks. I would highly recommend this place to others checking out the area or heading to Aspen.

We just returned from a romantic birthday away and had a fabulous time at the Distillery Inn. Jessica really went above and beyond for us, ensuring we had a private tasting and tour. Cary was AMAZING and we learned so much about how Marble Distillery came to be. He and his wife are true visionaries with an eye on sustainability and environmental impact. Our suite was perfect in every way. Fireplace was great, along with the rain head shower system. I used the Tesla charger in the back of the property. Super convenient for charging while there. We will be back!

After having toured over half the distilleries on the Colorado Spirits Trail... Marble distillery sits at the top. Being a whiskey lover, I was pleased to see that they have several styles of whiskey/bourbon. Above and beyond that, I did enjoy also trying the vodka and gingercello. Not only did we get a friendly and knowledgable bartender, but the distiller Julius was even kind enough to give us a private tour, showing us the behind the scenes workings. In addition to the fine spirits available couples with the hospitality and welcome like family atmosphere upon your arrival do not overlook the Inn. A hidden option and gem when staying in the area and the suites at the Marble Inn are top notch! Finely appointed with no detail overlooked! We will definitely keep the Inn on our go to list next time we travel to Carbondale or need a reasonable alternative to the Aspen accommodations.

This place is an absolute gem! Connie and Carey showed us around their beautiful, and most importantly, incredibly sustainable distillery. Their dedication to distilling with such sustainable practices is award worthy, then you have a taste of their work and you realize that everything is award worthy! Their rye whiskey will make a fan out of the least rye-friendly drinkers. Their unique triticale whiskey is 100% a must try. You really can't go wrong with any of their offerings. In a world where frills and fun come at the cost of quality and care, Marble Distillery really does it all.

Never have I ever been to a true vodka distillery... UNTIL NOW! (Mmmmmm. They also offer a whiskey!) Never have I ever tasted so many creative, fun and tasty infused vodkas... UNTIL NOW! (Try the habanero in a bloody mary!) Never have I ever been so impressed with a space... UNTIL NOW! (Edison light bulbs,modern/industrial touches and beautifully decorated for the holidays!) Never have I ever had flights of liquor delivered on locally sourced marble... UNTIL NOW! (No really!) Never have I ever found a 100% sustainable distillery... UNTIL NOW! (They recapture 100% of process water & reuse energy harvested from the distillation process to heat the facility, saving 4 million gallons of water annually and capture for reuse enough energy to heat 20 homes!!) Never have I ever seen so many locally crafted pieces at a bar... UNTIL NOW! (Local marble artistry, wood crafted tables and merchandise that is all made right in the town of Carbondale/Marble!) Never have I ever seen a distillery with a functioning Inn attached.. UNTIL NOW! (With modern rooms no less! They fill up fast!!) Never have I ever met staff that is so enthusiastic, friendly, COOL, and had such a love for their job... UNTIL NOW! (Seriously, Brian was the best!) I could easily go on and on about this little distillery, but I'll stop here! I would highly recommend coming here with family/friends or out of town guests - as this place is a true gem!

WOW!!! This place was stunning! It's an inn and a bar! It's so cute. It has amazing history behind it. The drinks we got were amazing, and let's not forget about the boozy dessert that was amazing! This place was awesome to check out.

Only was able to stay one night, wish it was a week! Hotel room was great, quality of bed/pillows was very nice, shower is custom and very relaxing. If you are looking for place to stay anywhere near Carbondale stay here! The Distillery staff mixed up some wonderful cocktails. My wife feel in love with the Delcacy Mule. I had some of their vodka that was very smooth, followed by "The Dirt" (awesome).

God, I love this place! After several years of visiting every time I drove through Carbondale, welcomed every time with good bartenders and great drinks (Gingercello especially!), I stopped by on my latest trip. It was closed for some cleaning and work, but the owner met with us, made a special cocktail, and made our evening complete!

What a great find. First, Chris was amazing - friendly, warm, informative and made sure we were never thirsty. Drinks were strong and tasty, food was delicious and a great value. Super cool vibe. Chris made the experience A+ and top notch. Great guy and great bar.

Hitting all the hotspots with sustainability and amazing distilled spirits. We're visiting Carbondale with some time to explore and found this little treasure. Ordered The Flight to orient our tastebuds for the follow up cocktails. Bought the vodka and gingercello. Had a few grapefruit infused cocktails that were top notch. The tour at the end rounded out the experience. Can't miss fun!

The accommodations, the service, the tour, the spirits, if I could give more stars I would. We loved this place, beautiful Moonlight Suite, Connie & Carey were so friendly and helpful. We will not only return but will tell our friends!

Attended a private event here last night. Wow, what a welcome new addition to Carbondale! The cocktails were fantastic, the service was spot-on, and the vodka is fantastic. We picked up a bottle of the gingercello reserve. The bloody mary and the re-fresh were our favorite cocktails. Great space, tasty product, good people.

Wonderful stop for vodka. And... they invited our dogs in. It is so nice to be inside having a human treat while not worrying about our pups staying in the car. The vodka is awesome, too.

Truly a great addition to the Carbondale strip! These folks set a new high standard for quality and sustainability. Their spicy vodka margarita is so good! Definitely check this place out when you're in town. Oh, and take the free tour if you get a chance:-)

A phenomenal lodging experience in peaceful, laid back Carbondale ( the rainwater shower is the best I have encountered in all my travels). The distillery itself is definitely worth exploring, as well as the attached cocktail bar. They make phenomenal vodka, whiskey, coffee liqueur and ginger liqueur, all produced sustainably. The entire team is friendly, engaging and make you feel welcome.

Visited Marble twice during our week long trip to carbondale and were more than pleased both times!!! We went at night for our first visit and got a couple of snacks along with our tasting flight and the "marble-rita" Mandy waited on us and she was super friendly and we had a lot to talk about because we're both from Tennessee. We went back to grab a couple of small bottles of their liqueur to take home and had an equally wonderful experience! #1 recommendation would be "the dude" with their espresso liqueur, heavy cream, and chocolate shavings

This is the best distillery in the valley, probably the entire state of Colorado!!! Great bartenders and staff. The owner is very accommodating and is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to spirits. We always head here before dinner or a night on the town. If you like White Russians get The Dude!!

Bummer! Came from Denver to stay in Carbondale to visit marble and as disappointed to find that they are closed for a private party and also said that they are not open on mondays even though apple maps says that their Monday hours are 3-10pm. If you are traveling from out of town, be sure to check to ensure that they are open before making the trek! This is the second time we have had problems here. Really messed up our vacation. Too bad

You really can't go wrong here. Stop in for a drink, an comedy show, a party, or indulge in an overnight stay at the Distillery Inn! They do it all well. We had our wedding reception here and enjoyed every step of the process. The staff is always on hand to accommodate and ensure you receive the best possible service--and vodka! The space is excellent for a reception! We were comfortable with about 100 guests--they have the ability to accommodate more. There is room for dancing, socializing, and eating. The divided indoor/outdoor setup was perfect on a summer evening. The Marble Distillery has quickly become a staple on Carbondale's sweet Main Street. We're so glad!

Awesome whiskey and even better people. The Moonlight Reserve is a must try liqueur and they serve the best hot chocolate I have ever had. Take the tour and enjoy a flight!

Fantastic service, outstanding spirits, and a beautiful seating area that is dog-friendly. I came in thinking I would have to sit outside since I had my dog with me, but they informed me that they are a dog-friendly establishment, and I could bring her in. I had the whiskey flight and was very impressed. It's a friendly atmosphere that locals and visitors frequent. Great place to grab a nice cocktail. They also have a few food options like charcuterie, smoked salmon, and assorted nuts (either expensive or cheap - no in-between). Would 10/10 recommend. Best for smaller groups (less than 8) for the main area due to size, but they can accommodate more. Looks like they have a back room for larger groups.

Extremely friendly staff and owners. The cocktails here were fantastic! I ordered the Marble-Rita - on point. One of my friends got one of their Mules and it was fantastic too! Don't to forget to try a boozy shake drink!

Very nice tour, interesting and not too long, and then on to the tasting. Very generous portions of the various products, good tasting gingercello/ reserve. The rate is very smooth, nice for an evening, sipping it at the fire place. Certainly worth the trip

This place is a MUST. Brian is seriously the best guy on the planet, so much local knowledge and even more knowledge of their whiskeys and other assortments. Sleek, modern, comfortable vibe inside, we will definitely be back.

Come for the vodka, stay for the hospitality! Seeing a group of people follow their dream is inspiring. This is a group of small business owners who embarked on a dream and are executing well! They are passionate about vodka and service. The vodka: craft-made and excellent. Their signature cocktails are fantastic and infused vodkas kick it up a notch. Must try the Dude and Marble-rita (and I'm not a margarita fan!) The inn: everything you expect when you hear the word "boutique". It's like staying with friends. Super comfy accommodations. And the shower - oh, the shower! Don't miss in Carbondale!

My favorite spot for drinks in town. Good atmosphere and friendly customer service. They have a lovely outdoor seating area with outdoor fireplace. Nice even on cold nights. I like stopping here for a drink or two before heading to dinner downtown. I recommend their ginger cello.

Incredible craft cocktails. Friendly staff. Good location. Very happy we stumbled upon this place. It's been 3 days and I'm still thinking about one of their concoctions.

BEST DRINKS IN CARBONDALE! The bar manager, Bryan, was extremely helpful, creative, and friendly. He let us try a UNRELEASED drink on the SECRET menu called "The Moreno". Ask for details, it WILL NOT be a disappointment.

Incredible liqueurs, which make world-class cocktails. We may have bought a few bottles to take back to Denver! Super nice bartender, Brian, who is bar manager. They allow well behaved dogs too, which made our dog Summit's day :)

We had a brief visit to Marble. Wish we could have stayed longerd the staff was delightful and drinks devine but still had an hour and a half drive before calling it a night.... The gingercello was a great taste especially with their mule. I was also pretty fond of the Moonlight Espresso (it helped with the rest of the drive!). And even the comedian was entertaining ;-) The best, definitely not knocking the spirits, was the staff. Super nice and friendly! Especially Mandy. She just makes the world a better place! Thank you for a delightful visit! We'll be back!

I had hoped to stay here but they were sold out so we came for drinks. The signature spirits are amazeballs - seriously. Everything was so good and we left with 3 bottles. I highly recommend Marble Distillery if you're in the area.

Marble Distillery has the best cocktails in town! If we go out for drinks, this is the first place we go. The bartenders are super friendly and knowledgeable about their products. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in town!

Did the Distillery tour followed by a neat vodka. After the tour, now I know why it tastes so good, so smooth, so natural. I highly recommend stopping in for a drink or two.

What a lovely night with the bartenders. We bellied up to the bar & had some delicious craft drinks. The infused drinks were varied & tasty. I would return for fun, drinks, to stay the night or to party!

Amazing drinks and great service. Make a detour if you are going to aspen or glenwood springs. Better yet just make Carbondale your destination as they have some nice rooms on property.

My sister lives down the street and we stopped in for a quick drink. What a great place. Beautiful ambiance and great drinks. Talked with the distiller, Connie about her craft. Very knowledgeable and proud of her vodka. Lemon cello was excellent

Wow! A mandatory Carbondale stop for the tasting, and if you want to spoil yourself - stay the night. These guys are the real deal for a genuine Colorado hospitality experience. They are quick to welcome you with a smile and a story, then promptly expose how quality permeates everything they offer. Vodka. Comfort. Laughter. Nuff said.

Staff is very nice drinks are great. The best hotel, inn, and B&B I have ever stayed at also the nicest. Also tons of things to do around this location

TERRIFIC!!! Highly recommend... Staying close by in Glenwood; looking online for things to do in the area and found info on Marble Distillery. Came by after dinner and just LOVED it! Awesome staff, terrific product. us sample spirit before deciding on a drink. Prices reasonable. Also someone brought a cake for a staff member's bday and they brought us a piece. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area!
