Where to Drink Cocktails in Nashville Right Now

"Located in the former Jackalope Brewing space, this family-owned brewery hails from a storied line of beer makers dating back to the late 1800s. Today, owners John Eibl Sr., John Eibl Jr., and Andrew Brophy are pumping out small-batch brews in the Gulch, with 16 different beers you can sample from their industrial-style taproom." - Eater Staff

Lots of beer in Nashville but Marble Fox is a welcome site! Amazing line up thats impressive. Root beer float beer to a sorbet ipa. Doing creative things right. But the classics are truely delicious. Small hang out with open air garage windows that add freshness. Small Bodega provides the bites. Small patio street sides. Walkable from Broadway

Excellent brewery! The beers have their own character and it was great that parking is free for two hours. Just go inside and scan the QR code. John was friendly and helped me pick the best options for my flight. The taproom has a comfortable vibe and feels like a good casual hangout after work.

We had an amazing time at Marble Fox Brewing, and a huge part of that was thanks to John, our bartender—hands down one of the best we've ever had! John was not only friendly and welcoming, but his knowledge of the beers and genuine enthusiasm made the whole experience unforgettable. You can tell he really loves what he does, and it made us love being there even more. Now let's talk about the beer—WOW. The No Crust Beer was a total standout: smooth, nostalgic, and bursting with peanut butter and jelly goodness without being overly sweet. It's like childhood in a pint glass—but for grown-ups. And the Snowbound Coffee Stout? Absolutely phenomenal.

First time in Nashville and decided to check this place out based on the reviews. It didn’t disappoint. Beer is fantastic and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They truly want everyone to enjoy their beers and it shows. I had the Pilsner, sorbet IPA and Zorrow Mexican lager. All were great.

A wonderful place to eat, drink, and relax. We wnt here on Father's day, to celebrate, and it was great. The armosphere was good, and the pizza and beers were great. I have enjoyed the beers for a couple of years now, and have been wanting to visit. I was a bit worried about there maybe being no food options, but after arriving, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had flatbread pizzas and appetizers. An update to their website would help, letting folks know of this, as I know we almost went elsewhere so we could get food as well. I am definitely looking forward to coming back again, and bringing friends. Also getting a shirt. Foxes are my favorite animal, so you are definitely getting some business for that alone.

The beer selection is fantastic... All bartenders/brewers super knowledgeable and more than happy to share their knowledge. Really enjoyed the conversation and hearing about their brewing process and style! Highly recommend anytime you're in town.

Walked over from Third Man Records after eating at Tennessee Brew Works and honestly this place blew my mind. They have some of the most impressive and thoughtfully brewed beers I've had the pleasure of enjoying. The Eternal Remedy was the most amazing desert stouts I've ever had. The bartenders were super helpful and hilarious. - especially John! A must visit if you find yourself nearby.

Yelp
I visited on 07/06/24. The beer was good. The atmosphere was relaxing, and everything was very clean. They were totally cool with us bringing food in from Poultry Fowl next door, even though they sell food themselves. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I'd visit again if in the area. They also provide free parking, which is just the icing on the cake!

Yelp
This is my first visit to Marble Fox Brewing Company. I saw a lot of great reviews of their beers and decided to check them out. My wand I have been to a lot of breweries around the south and this place rank up there with the best of them. We had two flights and they were all way above average. Afterglow was a delicious tart Gose, Big Method was an outstanding TIPA. Right off 8th Ave with onsite parking, I think the place is going to be a hit.

Yelp
Stoped by marble fox. If you are an IPA fan.... You need to get here. Stopped in here on a whim and couldn't be a bigger fan. These guys have brewing beers in their blood. Literally The grandfather of the owner came here from Germany and worked at the PBR brewery, the father started the business with his son, and they brew their own beers on site. The owner was behind the bar. Curating beers based on our taste and preference and describing why they do things the way they do. My personal favorite was the pirouette. Cruise in here when your visiting and ask for John

Yelp
We stopped by for a quick drink and that's what we got. There were only 6 customers in the whole place. We sat at the bar and chatted sort the bartender. The beers were good but not overly impressive. It is in a great location, walking distance to other bars and restaurants. Parking is limited as their lot is very small but there is other parking options around.

Yelp
Stellar IPAs and a chill environment. See great views of the city from the patio, or possibly hang with some cool dogs inside. We did both when we visited, and bought some to-go cans. Marble Fox has it dialed in!

Yelp
Cozy. Lots of beers. Table games. Staff was not overly friendly and welcoming to help you find what you like but tolerating me trying 2 before making a decision.

Yelp
I attended an event here earlier this month, and I loved it! The atmosphere is chic without being pretentious. There's plenty of comfortable seating. I ordered a seltzer, and the bartenders were super friendly and helpful. I look forward to trying the food on my next visit. There are a few parking spots on the side and a good bit of street parking nearby.

Yelp
Really nice brewery. Clean and laid back atmosphere. Nice bartenders. Great selection of craft beer which was heavy on IPAs which I really like. Also some great looking food but I didn't get any this time. I would suggest getting a flight to try 4 different beers! Solid neighborhood brewery destination!

Yelp
Great beer & service. My 3rd time here and love the vibes and beer. Upgrade from the previous tenants. Free 2 hour parking if you're lucky enough to grab a spot (I was!). The peach beer was 5

Yelp
Cliff Notes - 5-stars for the beer. 2-stars for the ambiance. 4-stars for the potential. Beers - Delicious DIPA and hazy IPA beers! That is why I go to a brewery... for great beer. I also like to enjoy the space... more on that below. The Space - This place is dark and a little cold. Leaning more cocktail bar vibe than brewery... in a bad way. Who is their audience, I don't feel like it's me and my demographic (beer lover with copious discretionary time and income)? The LED lights, which are over-dimmed, are flickering and a bit maddening. I cannot picture a bunch of "guys" hanging out here sitting on the wicker chairs with the dim lights, sleepy music, and succulent plants on the tables, at least not for more than one drink. As I am typing, Wilson Phillips is playing. The Vibe - they're maybe trying for fun with a few games placed around tables, but it ends up only highlighting the disparity between intent and execution. Maybe get rid of the wicker and blank walls, add a bit of color (doesn't have to be bright, muted color is fine), few warm natural accents (think wood) and dynamic art/points of interest on the walls. The Potential - Loaded with potential. Very conveniently located at 8th Ave and Division St., near Party Fowl. Space is perfectly sized for a brewery/taproom. Get rid of the QR code and put the current beer options up in lights. Proud and loud. Almost forgot but important (to me). Clean bathrooms are important, tells a a lot about the establishment's culture of general cleanliness. Their bathrooms are phenomenally clean and pleasant. I hope my comments are taken with the intended intent, I truly would like to help this establishment stick around for a while as I really like their beer!

Yelp
Some of the best beers I had in Nashville. Get the pilsner unbelievably delicious. Nice taproom. Great service

Yelp
Great beer, friendly people. Located in The Gulch area. We were visiting from Seattle, and a cold pint hit the spot. FIVE STARS! Come here and drink beer!

Yelp
We recently held a private event at Marble Fox Brewing Company and were blown away with the experience. They closed the entire taproom down for us, staffed with two servers, and at a very reasonable price. We have an annual event that we have run at other venues in the past and this was by far the best experience. If you are looking for an event space in the Gulch or near downtown Nashville, this is the place! Oh, and their beer is top notch as well!

John R.

Yelp
Great beers and super helpful bartender. Even helped us out with parking issue as Nashville has the craziest parking situation. I loved the sour and my wife loved both the porters.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and great beer! I got the Pilsner and my daughter got the lager. I'd definitely get again!

Yelp
Marble Fox had some great beers! A wide array of flavors. Service at the bar was fantastic! Very friendly and right on it. No food but the food truck outside was spot on. I would highly recommend this if you enjoy a good cold beer!

Yelp
We were excited to see this new brewery opening where a previous one had been, so after following them for a while on Instagram we made our way in for a cold one on an especially hot afternoon. They've got the A/C pumping so it was a welcome respite from the near 100 degree temps outside. Lovely wall of plants at the entryway and a beautifully decorated main room. There's also a bar that seats maybe a dozen people. They're in the beginning stages of opening and have plans for a canning room and a golf simulator soon. Right now they've only got their IPA's on tap, I think there were six to choose from. Both barkeeps were very friendly and allowed us to taste a few before deciding. Unfortunately neither my husband or myself are big IPA lovers, so it was slim pickings. The only reason for the four stars was that there weren't any porters or stouts on the menu, when they get those in we think this will be a five star brewery for sure. If you love IPA's then definitely stop in for a cold one.

Yelp
Just opened brewery with IPA's on the menu including peach and raspberry which were very yummy if you like fruited beers. Good vibes and the bartender was chatty and kind. Always fun when we run into someone from SIU who's been to most of the S. Illinois breweries we frequent. This is a gem.

Yelp
Marble Fox is great. I walked up to the bar & told the gentleman the style of IPA that I like most & he immediately recommended a specific brew & poured me a sample. It was nothing short of delicious. I ended up trying 4 or 5 samples and then got myself a full pour of the original one he first recommended. Every beer I tried was very tasty, the service was very helpful, clean ambiance & overall a great experience. Excited to go back!
