Finally got to try this spot that is located inside Market on 8th food court. Food: Food quality is amazing! You can tell they strive to provide us with fresh ingredients. We got pepperoni and capicollo pizzas. Both had great taste. It's not just the presentation that looks beautifully but the ingrediant's flavor of each pizza work so well with one another, loved the soft crust too! What stood out for us was their hot Honey sauce! ( the owner had mentioned it had chile de arbol and it wasn't spicy). He was so nice, he even brought us more for us to try where we were seated at. Customer service: Great customer service. We felt welcomed as soon as we walked in. The guy was very friendly and answered all our questions in a polite manner. Ambiance: Good music , very enjoyable and relaxed area to enjoy your food ( lots of tables and very spacy areas to walk around indoor and outdoor ). Price : I thought it was well priced. We spent about $40ish for 2 large pizzas. Parking lot: Usually parking is packed and you have to circle around the block a few times until someone leaves. But worth the wait. Will definitely come back again! Recommended 100%.

The best neapolitan pizzas in san diego. The dough is fluffy and light for digestion. My wife always feels stuffed after eating pizza, but not here. Great service as well and about 10 minute wait from ordering to getting served. There’s other places in the market, so great atmosphere all around.

I ordered the capicollo pizza with lemon zest and hot honey, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced--salty capicollo, a hint of citrusy brightness from the lemon, and a touch of heat and sweetness from the honey. The crust was light and crisp, making every bite enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving quality, flavorful pizza! Guillermo was great and the service was friendly.

If you're craving Neapolitan Pizza, let this be your next fav spot! The 10-inch Margherita pizza had the perfect crust, sauce, and cheese, and the Caesar salad’s combo of dressing/cheese was incredible. Plus, the staff was super friendly. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a cozy meal that hits all the right notes!

I ordered two small pizzas. He dropped my pepperoni pizza, he had to make another one, the margherita pizza was undercooked.

Pizza was great! Always a crowd in this area bc of it being a food market, but it's always great to stop by. This pizza is made in a fire oven, which makes it even better! We got the Magharita pizza, and it was delicious!

One of the best pizza I've ever had. This was the mortadela with burata ans pistachio I believe and omg what a dream team for pizza toppings. The shaved cheese on top(might have been parm or asiago) did make it lean more towards the salty side. The dough! So airy, light. Don't skip out on your chance to try Marcella pizza if you're at Market on 8th!

Chef Guillermo is amazing when it comes to his creativity on his Chef's Special pizza! AMAZING DELICIOUS PIZZA!!! Me and my wife came to try foods out and the Meat Lovers and Margarita Pizza with the honey was BOMB! Perfect oven roasted pizza and the Owners/workers/service was so nice and humble. Ambiance super relaxing and chill. Would come again for sure No Doubt! Totally recommend to anyone everyone!

I've been coming here for over a month and Marcella continues to impress. The pizza quality is amazing and Guillermo is starting to introduce limited items like the braised beef rib sandwich I was lucky to enjoy today. If you're looking for great pizza in the south by don't sleep on Marcella.

Delicious!! Wonderful ingredients and the pizza cook quickly, which was nice for me as I was on my way to the airport crossing. I live in OC but if I'm ever back in the area I'd love to hang out in the market there and have another pizza. The guys working were incredibly kind too!

I want to leave room for the best pizza I've ever had, but this might be it. The sausage ricotta hot honey pizza FLEW off of our plate.
