Marcello Andres makes hands down the BEST ceramics in the world! As a chef who’s lived in London and dined at Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, nothing compares to the gorgeous dishes made by Marcello. I’ve visited his storefront in the Cedars in Dallas a few times, and I always love browsing the different dishes. I also love that the storefront is connected to the studio! It’s so much better to buy from a small business that you can truly see where and how the products are being made. The color selections are stunning and the shapes are super unique. My favorite color is the Texas night collection, which is sort of like a matte grey really unique color, although the speckled dishes are super cool too! He makes a small cup called the copita, which is so fun and versatile, and the casa mug has the coolest handle making it really stand out. My favorite dish though, hands down, is the bubble plate— which I think I need in every color! Whether you’re a chef, a home cook looking to up your plating game, or you’re searching for the perfect thoughtful gift for someone, you can find it at Marcello Andres.

The real standout, though, was the mindfulness workshop I attended with my counseling clients. It was engaging, insightful, and a unique way to connect. And our mornings? Elevated by their handcrafted coffee mugs – my husband and I each have our favorites from our collection of four. This place combines artistry with functionality seamlessly. Worth a visit for anyone looking to infuse a bit of creativity into their daily life."

Such a unique gift for anyone who loves supporting local artisans! The vibes at the retail store were great and I liked finding random one of a kind pieces.

It’s an experience whenever I eat off of a Marcello Andres plate. Having his collection at my home inspires me to cook more often and be present with the food that I make. His passion and art translates into the pieces that he makes. I always look forward to his amazing collection releases !
