Super cute cafe with a huge variety of tarts, pastries, drinks, and sandwiches. It was super busy when I went on a Sunday morning, but the service is super quick and organized. Coffee here is great too and I love that they give you half size sandwiches, the patio is also super nice and very cute decor. I love the vibe of this place, would definitely come back.

Good coffee and sweets. Classic selection for Italian breakfast. Meets the Italian standards. The interior is a bit flashy and shiny but it is something that most people will like.

One of the bests bakeries in Florence

We were staying just around the corner in the Italiana Hotel, which served a terrible breakfast and sent us out searching for food elsewhere. We happened across Marcello’s and really pleased to find a spacious, bakery which really had a full range of drinks, baked goods and sandwiches. Since they did sandwiches in quarters and halves we bought a range as well as some of the sweet baked good and the prices were very low, more so when compared to the city centre offerings. The staff struggled with our non-existent Italian but pointing and smiling got us there. We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Great pastry place. Amazing sweet and savory treats in a great setting. Friendly staff and attentiveness in good. Had a cake and coffee and can highly recommend it. Such a great taste.

Great coffee. Really worth a visit. Lots yummy treats. Located in an area not filled with those crowds found in the historic city center. This is the part of town you'll certainly feel like a local. Not as pricy as places in tourist areas. Actually, prices are really good. Enjoy it!

Delicious! Must try the pastries filled with pistachio cream

Yum! It’s not cheap, but it’s delicious. Bought a whole flourless chocolate cake with a hazelnut praline inside. SO GOOD!

Greasy panini, uncomfortably rich pastries, and an ok cappuccino. We ate breakfast here because the bar we wanted to go to across the street was closed. The breakfast here left me uncomfortably full and feeling queasy. Not my favourite. Would return only if nothing else is open.

Though the staff tends to be a bit snobby and the coffee within itself isn't the best, the pastry is definitely great! Go with a cappuccino and s sfogliatella and you definitely won't regret it!
