Awesome place. Food and cappuccino were great and so were service and atmosphere. Great pastries and other food items like hams and wine too.

Excellent! I’ve been wanting to try this cafe for a while and I’m so glad I stopped by today. The meatballs in the Italian wedding are full of flavor. My first abruzzo was perfect, the balsamic is delicate and divine. High quality meats and cheeses. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice, thank you!

Had an absolute beautiful first time experience for my husband's birthday . We're from the north and have been missing a good Italian deli and cup of coffee. Marchese did not disappoint. I love the family atmosphere and local atmosphere. From the first cup to the sauce we were catapulted back home and enjoyed every sip and bite. Instantly a favorite and will be returning regularly.

Discovered this gem of a place on a Saturday afternoon after getting scones from my favorite bakery. When I walked in I noticed italian customers present which was a good sign to me. I had the rigatoni with meatballs - it was very good. It was accompanied by a small side salad with balsamic drizzle and toasted bread slices. Perfect portion size and fair price. My second visit I had a cup of Italian wedding soup - the best I've ever had. And for my main I ordered the gnocchi with pesto - fantastic. Finished the meal with a slice of red velvet cake for dessert. Nice and moist. A wonderful place indeed.

When I arrived, it wasn't busy. I ordered to go and it took about 15 minutes but it was the wrong dish so I had to wait another 15 minutes. There were 2 waitresses and the taller one was rude and unfriendly. The other waitress went out of her way to give me water while I was waiting. As soon as the first order got to me, the rude waitress grabbed my water without saying anything. I was still drinking it. Then the other waitress gave me another water.I didn't even say anything to the rude waitress. She started venting to me about what it was like to be a waitress. I didn't feel that was appropriate. She was complaining to me. I went to pay for it and she said that I couldn't use a gift card. I didn't think that was true. The owner apologized for her and said I could use the gift card. I ordered the rigatoni with tomato sauce and meatballs. There was very little tomato sauce and rigatoni. It was mostly ground beef. I was disappointed. The meatballs had a strange flavor. The salad had very little balsamic dressing and the bread was stale. It was very hard to find parking. I had to park in another shopping area. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Google
This place was an absolute delight. The food was delicious and the service was incredible. Went on a Saturday at 2:00 and easily got a table. The caprese salad and bruschetta were delectable. It's my wife's new favorite restaurant.

Google
What a wonderful authentic Italian restaurant! Met friends here for an impromptu lunch, so impressed. Owner took our orders, was friendly and a good listener. Soup was delightful, bruschetta so fresh, and tasty. My friends raved about the wine, and their menu choice they purchased two bottles to go. Terrific lunch spot.

Google
it is always an experience coming here. ive been to Italy before and this place captures the vibe, food, and flavor compared to others in the area. they have chef specials, menu orders, desserts, and italian market goodies. the owner anna is always upbeat and has wonderful customer service. as many times as ive been here, she has many loyal regulars that love her. there are also wine tastings here and she has a generous range to choose from. if youre in Virginia Beach or in Hampton Roads definitely check this place out.

Yelp
I wish I could say I had a better experience at Marchese Italian Market but unfortunately, the food didn't hit the mark. A friend and I decided to stop in and try them out on a Friday at Noon. The little restaurant was very cute and quaint. Thankfully, we beat the crowd and were able to grab a table. We both decided on salads and an appetizer. I chose the Porchetta Salad which included ham, spring mix, tomatoes, Parmesan cheese and a balsamic glaze, while my friend chose the Chicken Salad. We also decided on Bruschette and the Ocean Shore, which included smoked salmon slices, anchovies, capers, and black olives on top of ciabatta bread slices. The food was served pretty quickly and as soon as we both took bites of our salads, we could tell something tasted spoiled. We're not sure if it was the lettuce, the meat or both but neither one of us finished. The Bruschette was very good but the Ocean Store seemed to have a funny taste as well. We decided to pay for our meals and find somewhere else to eat for lunch. I did grab a slice of Carrot Cake before heading out and it tasted pretty good. As we left out around 1pm, it had gotten crowded so keep that in mind. I hate that we didn't have the best experience but maybe the pastas or paninis are better.

Yelp
Delightful. Delicious. A whole vibe that makes you feel like you are in Italy. Small inside and some outside patio tables. A little market with authentic items like olive oil, pasta, chips, sauces......I started with the smoked salmon and got the rigatoni with meatballs. As I waited I shopped and listened to music and the owner speak in Italian. The salmon was delicious with greens, olives, capers and anchovies. J should have said no anchovies. I ate every bite. The olives were clearly not from the US. You could taste the difference. Ahhh....and that meal. It came out piping hot and OMG the sauce was delicious. Homemade all the way and those meatballs were so tender they melted in my mouth. I truly felt like I was in her house and she was cooking me lunch. I want to write her a thank you note. The whole experience from beginning to end was perfect. I slowed down while I ate, I savored the meal, I sipped on my wine, I listened to the music and I listened to them speaking Italian. I hope she doesn't get bigger because the small place has charm. Not good for large groups but they do cater and have a meat, cheese and dessert counter. When I left I wanted to call all my foodie friends and tell them about my experience. I hope you go and have the same authentic, Italian experience I did. Now I have to go write her a thank you note. Chow.

Yelp
My new favorite spot!! Not only is it a market....it's a restaurant too! The meals are absolutely delicious and taste so fresh. Big plus that the prices are reasonable! When I walked in, I felt like I was immediately transported to Italy. The atmosphere is welcoming, relaxed, and lovely. And the staff is very friendly. Don't skip the salads! They are mouthwatering. Everything that was ordered during my 2 visits: caprese salad, four cheese ravioli, gnocchi with pesto, chocolate profiteroles, pistachio cake, and 2 specials which i forgot the name. Don't miss out on the specials. They are so good!! It's a small space so best for small groups of around 4. Excited to bring more of my family and friends here!

Yelp
What a hidden gem. My friend and I met up for lunch and we were craving some Italian. Marchese had been recommended a few times before, but noticed it closed early, hence the visit during lunch. Marchese is a restaurant, deli, and market. There are bottles of wine at the front of the store, specialty gourmet food products in the back, and a order/takeout service counter and a showcase of all of their meats, cheeses, and desserts in the middle with seating throughout. If you're dining, you order at the table and the will bring your food to the table. - Parking - Center lot. - Noms - Bruschette - pieces of lightly toasted baguette slices, loaded with tomatoes and basil. Loved the freshness to this dish. Caprese salad - generous portion with slices of tomatoes and fresh mozzarella, drizzled with balsamic served with slices of baguette. I LOVE caprese salad and I thoroughly enjoyed Marchese's! Abruzzo panini - YUM! This was tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and prosciutto. I was going for the tomato and mozz theme. This was stuffed with tomatoes and mozz and the saltiness of the prosciutto went so well together. The panini was nicely toasted and provided that nice crunch when you bite into it. Chocolate profiteroles - these were only one of two dessert items that were made in house, but lemme tell ya, those things were SO GOOD! Mini-cannoli - Since we had ordered chocolate profiteroles, I still wanted to try the cannolis, so we ordered a mini one. Nice crunch to the shell and the filling was nice and smooth. Great first visit and looking forward to my next visit. Note to self: try their pastas and soups!

Yelp
Staff is fantastic. We ordered catered food for our Xmas Eve party. Everything was cooked perfectly. The restaurant decor is typical Italian deli with a twist. This is a must for great food. Well done.

Yelp
I have eaten there a few times and the food is very good. The breakfast sandwich is excellent and can feed 2 people. The menu is small but tasty the do have a large pastry selection. The staff is very friendly and they make you feel at home. The restaurant is small and unassuming. I will absolutely go back for dinner.

Yelp
Marchese is a gorgeous, unexpected gem that packs some serious flavor and delivers warm, attentive service. I've had this place on my list to try for months and finally made it in for lunch. They have a great menu offering salads, sandwiches and pastas, all at very affordable, fair prices. Especially for the high quality of ingredients that they deliver! We started with the Bruschette- delicious. Crunchy bread, ripe tomatoes, flavorful basil, high-quality olive oil, fresh mozz. Perfection. We both got pasta dishes, but the Four-Cheese Ravioli with Cream Sauce was the favorite for both of us. I will be getting that every time from now on. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and even got some nice imported ingredients to take home!

Yelp
I became excited when I stumbled on this nice cozy cafe or hole in the wall since I miss NY. The food was pretty awesome, especially the coffee and the bread. The desserts are delicious. Staff is very busy though, just one waitress, and food took a while to come out, but it was worth it.

Yelp
We ran across this spot almost by accident and we are so glad we did. I am gluten intolerant but I risked all the side affects when I saw the homemade croissant with apricot jam. It was truly the best croissant I've ever eaten. (Flaky, light and just the right amount of jam)

Yelp
Marchese Italian Market is a must try. Ive been to Italy before and this place definitely captures the authentic taste of what Italian food and coffee should taste like. Ana the owner is amazing. Her customer service is excellent. She greets you with a smile and is very knowledgeable with everything - from their food, desserts, their meats, their market goods and wine. I would definitely recommend this place if youre looking for a local Italian business that would exceed your expectations. Thank you Marchese!

Heather B.

Yelp
This is a delicious spot for lunch. I had the caprese panini without balsamic and the ingredients were super fresh! Afterwards, I ordered a slice of their lemon mascarpone cake which just melted in my mouth. Yum! It's gets busy during lunch, so be sure to get there early to grab a table and a parking spot. However, there's a market of goods at the back of the restaurant to peruse while you're waiting. My only complaint is I wish they were open later than 3pm!

Yelp
This place reminded us of every Italian cafe we visited in Italy. Espresso and pastries were amazing and all so reasonably priced. Panini and gnocchi were also great and so worth it. Will definitely return!

Yelp
Excellent service! Authentic dishes! Made with love! Imported desserts were wonderful! Looking forward to the next visit.

Yelp
I had been craving a good caprese salad for weeks now and found this place on google. It's 5 minutes from my job and as soon as I walked in I had a feeling it would be good lol it's a hole in the wall. The staff here speak Italian, assuming this is family owned. As soon as I entered they both spoke to me and offered water. They sell meat, cheese, and wine. I've never been to Italy but it feels like I'm at a local Italian restaurant where I grew up around the corner, and go here for breakfast/lunch periodically, or a place your mom tells you to stop at on the way home for special ingredients lol. It's not fancy at all but it's welcoming and comfy. I got a hazelnut latte with oatmilk, a caprese salad, an abruzzo panini and a slice of pistachio & ricotta mousse "cake" (weird combo I know lmao). The latte is sooooo good. Not too strong not watery at all, if you're into coffee you know what I mean. My caprese was yummy; the bread on it was toasted but some how still so so soft. The abruzzo, was ok I didn't realize it had slices of pork I also I didn't read the whole description cuz I was too excited and picked the first one lmao. But this cake???? Omggggg soft fluffy creamy and the perfect amount of sweet. Whew I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
The food here was amazing. Very authentic Italian food with great prices. As you walk in, it's like you're entering a house in Italy. Our waitress was so nice and tentative to our table. I will definitely come back again.

Yelp
Had a bit of a sweet tooth so, we decided to walk in for a quick dessert. First pastry item in the display was the Babá cake... memories from our cafe in italy down the street from our home came rushing back with every bite. It was wonderfully delicious, the lady at the counter was just so sweet and they both had great customer service. Ciao

Yelp
Great authentic southern Italian food. Went there because I knew they had sfogliatelle. Wound up having lunch as well. Deliziosa!

Yelp
Amazing authentic Italian restaurant. We went mid afternoon for snack and found us to be wonderfully surprised by the superb peach Bellini with fresh peach juice and pistachio cake slice. Service was efficient and fast, all cannoli are made to order. Can't wait to return for a full meal. Yum!

Yelp
This place is AMAZING! I lived in Sicily, Italy for 3years and this is the most authentic Italian food I've had ever since leaving Italy 6years ago. Her paninis are TO DIE FOR and she has daily lunch specials which will not dissapoint! Oh and did I mention that she has home made deserts! A must try is you want authentic Italian cuisine.
google avatar

Yelp
I LOVE this place. Food is good. She takes card or cash. I'll admit- I can't remember 100% if there is a kids menu or not. Tasty coffee and daily specials. She also sells wine and has a little Italian market inside the shop. You can sit on the patio or dine inside. She imports her stuff from Italy so it's good. LOTS of pastries and cakes. I enjoyed her antipasto tray. Large portions and the olives... ahhhh.... This little shop is full of so many tasty treats. Good for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
The food is delicious and the associates were so friendly and helpful with my decisions. And were very loving of how they express there stories of their food and home.

Yelp
Neat little Italian cafe tucked into a little shopping center on Pleasure House. The owner is friendly and all over the place, greeting, cooking, and serving. They have a nice selection of salads, panini sandwiches, and pastas. I had the Rome panini, which was delicious. It featured some tender Italian porchetta roast slices, tomatoes, spinich on ciabatta bread, dressed with balsamic vinegar. My dad had the rigatoni, which had some very nice meatballs, a well-made tomato sauce, and served with a nice side greens salad and some bread. They also have a bakery case full of Italian pasteries. There were some really good-looking rainbow cookies, tiramisu and canolis that caught my eye. They also have a nice selection of ressonably priced Italian wines, most under $20 a bottle. This is a great little place, I highly recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
I have lunch here 2-3 times a week. Always fun atmosphere, food is fresh and made to order. Espresso is very good. Support local businesses like this one. Owner/Cher is friendly and fun. I highly recommend this cafe.

Yelp
Best pressed panino in town, it's called Abruzzo. With mozzarella, prosciutto crudo and tomatoes. Best selection of dessert which are never overly sweet. Every time I'm in that area, I like to stop by for a quick chat and for my Abruzzo, or caffè. The place is cozy and the owner, who is from Italy, is friendly and upbeat. It's like being in Italy. And if you are lucky, you will find profiteroles available!

Yelp
Hidden gem in Va Beach near Chics's Beach. Have been twice and will make this a regular stop in the future. Authentic Italian baked goods, paninis and pasta with exceptional customer service. Anna Maria was fabulous both times we visited and made sure we were satisfied. Even surprised us with cannolis on the house the first time we were there. Can't decide which is better the bakery items or the paninis. Greet ingredients and well prepared. Looking forward to trying a pasta dish in the future.

Yelp
The last time we passed through Virginia Beach, we got a good laugh from the dueling Baptist churches on Pleasure House Road. This time, we decided to actually explore said thoroughfare. Marchese Italian Market made us glad that we did. Though not a large space, Marchese feels cozy rather than cramped. Signed soccer jerseys and other memorabilia cover the walls, and wines, meats, and cakes are prominently displayed. The owner made us feel welcome and told us she had made some fresh minestrone soup, making a tough decision (everything on the menu sounded good) even tougher. In the end, my wife and I split an order of rice balls and went with the minestrone with meatballs and the Parma (prosciutto, sweet red peppers, parmesan, and pesto) panini respectively. The food was neither cheap (panini are $8.20 and soup with meatballs ran north of $5) nor quick to arrive, but it was worth it. The rice balls were very cheesy, the generously sized panini balanced salty (the prosciutto) and sweet (the pepper) well, and the soup was the best minestrone I've ever had, rich and hearty with perfectly fluffy meatballs. An order of cannoli drizzled with chocolate sauce did not disappoint either. Giacomo's in Greensboro remains my gold standard for Italian markets, but for a lunch stop in northern Virginia, Marchese exceeded expectations. If you don't mind paying and waiting a bit, you'll walk away full and satisfied.
google avatar

Caitlin R.

Yelp
This is the best darn cannoli I've ever had. They fill them to order, so crunchy, and well-flavored ricotta & chocolate chip filling. I'm so sad I don't live near it. Also had a very good tomato anchovy pasta (very anchovy forward), and a classic cappuccino. If I could, I would come here every week.

Yelp
Food wad spectacular i havent stopped recommending this place since i went. I had a panini and it was so flavorful. I had a few of the deserts too and all were incredible. The workers are super sweet and accommodating. Its a cute little shop that you could easily over look but it's definitely worth a stop in!!

Yelp
Cultural experience, hospitality and excellent food are a summary of this review. First time at this local gem, but yet aboard feeling experience! Our visit was a breakfast one. We ordered an appetizer along with a delicious scrambled eggs combo plate. The food was flavorful and delicious, combined with a freshly brewed coffee that puts you back in Italy! The service was excellent, hospitable and welcoming. Whether you're local or visiting the VB area, don't pass this hidden "Little Italy". I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Solid place. Great gnocchi and sauce. Good value but need to try more items. Definitely a good reliable spot to get some good pasta.

Yelp
Perfect off the beaten path coffee shop. Stop by for a cannoli or espresso! Great service and friendly staff that will brighten your day!

Yelp
Lovely helpful lady inside, greeted us so happily as she was working to complete the order for the customer at the counter. Rome Panini was amazing! Latte was amazing! and Red Velvet cake was amazing! Coming back soon!

Yelp
I plan to come back to this cute Italian restaurant the next time I'm in Virginia Beach. The decor is all reminiscent of Italy. The vibe is like a cafe, but less noisy and focused on great food. The owner not only served the food; worked the counter; and probably made it. Order a nice granita (picture) while you wait for your meal or walk around the niche Italian item store that's nestled near the back of the restaurant. The pasta was a perfect al dente (see picture). I ordered one of the chef's specials. I liked how moderately priced the restaurant is, whereas fine dining could charge up to $10 more for the same dish. Portion sizes are perfect for dinner. I had to take my salad home because the meal was very filling. If you get the chance to order a dessert, then make sure to do so! A cabinet of delectable treats is near the register. This location takes debit/credit, so no need for cash only.

Yelp
Great place to shop for cheeses and meats. Only place we have been able to find Ricotta Salata which we need for a few recipes before coming here we just substituted Feta which is not as good. Anyway this weekend we decided to have lunch we got a couple Paninis and they were Great! The fresh Focaccia, Italian Meats and cheese made it truly perfect. At the end of the meal I have a small Canoli and my wife had a small muffin looking dessert that had strawberries and whip cream in it. She said it was kind of like a strawberries short cake. I just can't remember the name. Everyone is really nice and helpful. Looking forward to trying them for dinner.

Yelp
Best Italian food in Hampton roads. Authentic genuine home made Italian food made by Italian lady

Yelp
I wanted so badly to give this more stars!! But alas they did not deliver. I've been twice now and both experiences were subpar. I gave it three stars because I love all things Italian and the espresso was really good. All of our lunches were only so-so and mine was not good at all. The salad tasted earthy like it hadn't been washed, and my pasta pomodoro with basil was waaayyy overcooked. If an Italian had received this order they would've sent it straight back to the chef. I didn't complain because they told us the kitchen was slammed but once I got the bill I regretted my decision. My husbands "bowl" of soup was more of a cup serving size and when I asked about a military discount the owner was rude. She could've just said sorry we don't offer a military discount but instead she snarked out a "We are a small business" in a what did you expect kind of attitude. I understand and wasn't at all offended by them not offering one. Just thought I'd ask considering it was Veteran's Day and thought they might do something special for the day for our Veteran's. I will say my daughter has gone many times and usually has a good experience. So, take my experience for what it's worth and try it out if you like a good espresso and apparently they have amazing cannoli's.

Yelp
It has been a while since I visited this little Italian market/cafe in the Bayside area across from Hermitage Elem. Their social media worked on me today as I saw the Butternut Squash Pasta special and thought that was for me today. The front entrance was clean and appealing with the small table outside the door, parking was no issue today due to late lunch hour. Upon walking in I immediately noticed that some rearranging had taken place. The merchandise immediately on the right as you walk in had been reduced down to a much smaller area in the back. Now in the area is 6 new wooden tables (see pic) along the windows. I did not see a lot else that had changed, same red colors in keeping with the Italian theme. They also added a flat screen TV, but it was on Cartoon Network in the middle of the day... no ESPN, or news for me today I guess. Also the TV's location can only be really viewed easily from two of the tables. Obviously the focus is now on the cafe with the reduction of merchandise. On this day only one customer was having lunch around 1:30 PM and a few men were in the back speaking Italian, but did not appear to be customers. The owner was around with her cute little daughter running about the restaurant greeting everyone. I elected to eat inside, although I have no idea why, it was a beautiful day. They also have a back patio with around four tables and would be a nice place for a small group, or just a romantic little lunch. The waitress came over and I immediately told her that I wanted the special and a water. A few other customers came around 15-20 minutes after I arrived and my food was just coming out. I thought the kitchen seemed slow, but it was quality I was looking for and I ended up not being in a rush. The dining room is very comfortable and attractive to the eye. The food came out and was delivered by the owner, both looked (see pic) great, I was ready to dig in. My eyes did not deceive me, it was delicious! Right temperature and texture, it was so scrumptious. However, I noticed to obvious chips on the plate, not good. At one point I was out of water and the waitress, who also was serving the bar area was behind the counter. Keep in mind they are almost dead and the owner was chatting with the two men in the corner. Finally the waitress came out to check on me and asked if everything was okay, duh! WATER! I did not say that but felt like it. I was glad she checked on me, but not a lot of personality in this gal and I assume she must be new to not recognize when right in front of someone that they need a refill. On other visits this place is known for having good deserts. On this day the case was full and many of the items looked appealing to me. I did notice the bottom of the case was missing a large piece on the bottom and was dirty. I asked the waitress if the deserts were fresh, she said Monday fresh... well it's Wednesday! I thought the tiramisu looked the best. I was served in a nice size cup and a small spoon which appeared to be for a cappuccino, kind of strange. It was tasty so very happy with the choice. Overall it was a nice visit and still a fan. The food I had today was solid, but the service really lacked and it just appeared to not be customer focused today. I have not given up on this place one bit, great food and the service will be better.

Yelp
I honestly do not know how Marchese does not have 5 perfect stars. This market, Annamaria, her food and her staff are wonderful. It is a hidden gem, one of those you hate to tell people about. But, they deserve the credit. The coffee is amazing and do not leave before trying one of her Paninis. Everything is simple and pure and 100% delicious. Ever her side salads take me back to Italy.

Yelp
I have traveled abroad but, never to Italy. When I walked in, I felt I was pretty darn close! I ordered their espresso and it was delicious! IMO, espresso from overseas is so much more smooth. No need for sugar or cream. Amber, who was amazing, offered a pastry fresh out of the oven. I don't recall the name (pic posted) but, it melted in my mouth! Sooo delicious. Amber, made my visit so memorable as she was knowledgeable, professional, and just genuine. I knew nothing about the Italian food/culture/meats/cheeses etc.... but, in speaking to Amber, tasting various meats, and visiting this establishment...I am now intrigued to learn more and try all of the dishes on the menu. The meats were NOTHING like the deli meats in our local cases. ALL of them were so delicious. The cheeses, again...something one cannot find here. My fav meats were probably, porchetta, mortadella, and speck. I left w/ some speck and a cheese... I forget the name. A lot to learn but, nice to know there is a place I can go to now in hopes to one day make it to Italy! :) Last thought, go here w/ the intent of having a little taste of Italy with a coffee, sandwich, soup, slice of pizza, and/or pastries. I was thinking there would be pasta dishes. I think there is a tortellini dish and I believe they will be expanding (which I can't wait!) but, all of the meats, cheeses, pastries, and coffee were all soooo good it didn't matter there were limited pasta dishes.

April A.

Yelp
Authentic (in my inexperienced opinion;-) Italian deli cafe. Practice your Italian here maybe? Cappuccino is awesome. Breakfast sandwich is what I always get. Limited seating indoors and outdoors. Order to go at the counter or table service. Worth it for a quick bite or coffee break.

Yelp
I'm enjoying how relaxing the ambiance is here. I'm studying and using the wifi here. I'm the only customer here which makes it nice and peaceful to study. I had no idea this place existed. Since I'm not familiar with the shops off of pleasure house Rd. There are a good amount of spas in this plaza. New river tap house is across the st I need to try out next time The cappuccino I got is nice and strong. They are not skimping on the espresso and it's not overly sweet. It's nice and frothy. I didn't add any sugar because I'm enjoying it with my tiramisu. The tiramisu is good. I taste the coffee at the bottom of the cup. It's nicely decorated. There is a thick layer of cream. I feel like I am am super charged with all this coffee I am having. It's a nice small cafe with Italian imported goodies. I love that they have the German chocolatea I've had before. I need to come back again and try their food! I'm excited to try the wine I bought for Valentine's Day! I will be back here again. Perfect spot to relax and clear my mind, listen to to the instrumentals playing and study.

Yelp
I lived in Italy for many years and am very picky when it comes to Italian food...Marchese is THE BEST!! Anna Maria is so friendly and will make you feel right at home as soon as you enter. Ask for her recommendation or pick out a favorite. Everything is homemade using only the freshest ingredients and authentic family recipes. You will never want to eat at a chain "Italian" restaurant ever again! Try the gnocchi, the wedding soup, or the tiramisu, you will be running back for more! Grazie Anna Maria and buon appetito everyone!!!!!

Yelp
Looking for a true Italian deli. By no means this is not it. No curbside appeal should of been my first clue. Meat case was disorganized as the store...customer service fair and uneasy. Asked for 1/4 lb of a couple items and she gave me 1l2 lb of each. Doesn't print labels as in other delis. Not sure is that is legal or not. So wondering y my bill came to $25.00 for 3 things. Not happy once I checked my receipt. Thinking maybe I was their only customer today.. oda

Yelp
This tiny gem remains a great spot for a sandwich, a real cappuccino or any variety of Italian pasties. Absolutely delicious. They also maintain a solid inventory of real Italian grocery products for reasonable prices.

Yelp
We were in the area at grand market and my wife found this little spot. I called and order for take-out and the owner was very nice and pleasant. Arrived and they were still working on our order so it gave me a chance to look around. Cute place with wine, desserts, meat and cheeses on display. We ordered the ravioli, cavatelli and half a antipasto. Came with side salad drizzled with a balsamic and bread. My wife loved this, she used the bread and layered cheese, meat and salad with dressing and made herself a little bruschetta. I on the other hand devoured her cavatelli and most my ravioli. The ravioli was good, nice creamy white sauce. Ravioli was definitely homemade and filled very nicely. The cavatelli had wonderful flavors, it was delicious. Last but not least what I judge every real Italian place on, the cannoli. It was good, not to sweet and you could taste the ricotta. I always hate when the cannoli taste like powdered sugar, it isn't supposed to. I can see bringing the family back here and having the antipasta platter with some wine. However will probably be back this weekend to see if the gnocchi is just as good. My wife's favorite so she'll probably stab me with her fork if I try and take it. Covid friendly. Was wearing masks. Cute seating outside and we did sit outside and enjoy the weather. Not a huge place inside. The food was hot, tasty and the service was great.
