This little spot is a hidden gem. It's just a hole in the wall, in an old building, but it's so charming. There are only 8 or 9 tables and a long bar. One side of the bar is drinks and the other is a sushi bar. My son is a sushi fanatic, so we have tried every sushi place in the stateline area and he said Marc's is the best. The crab ration is authentic. Some of the other Asian dishes aren't my favorite (a little heavy on the ginger), but they have fantastic seafood and steaks too. If you get the pork chops --- they give you two for the price of what most places charge you for one! The service is great, and it's fun to watch the guy (Marc?) make the sushi if you sit at the bar. It's always packed on a Friday or Saturday, so they don't take reservations as it is so small. The prices are reasonable too. My husband, son, and I went there for New Year's Eve. My son had two sushi rolls and five Nigiri. I had the two pork chop dinner, and my husband had the garlic shrimp, plus a side salad. Additionally, we had the crab Rangoon and a glass of wine. The total bill came to just over $100. We can pay $50 at Beef-A-Roo these days. So, this was a lot of food for such a low price. They were also serving a NYE special with a huge New York Strip and a lobster tail for $40. I emphatically suggest this place, especially if you like sushi, but even if you don't.
