Pizza, deli, veggie cuisine, beer garden, record shop

"This sprawling, multi-use warehouse space on the edge of London Fields in Hackney is one of the better places to work from in the city’s hippest borough. WiFi here is reliable and there’s plenty of space at any time of the day. The cafe which serves coffee from its own Flying Horse roastery on site is dependable. Breakfast sandwiches include bacon, egg sqaure, and American cheese. Plenty of outdoor space but be careful with the pizza; the £5 marinara veers wildly between acceptable and not." - James Hansen
"A multi-use venue is one of the area’s best spots to pick up a decent coffee, breakfast sandwich, bottle of wine, bag of crisps, a pizza, or a plate of simple unfussy seasonal fare. The laid-back service and chilled approach to sitting in and hanging out for a whole day (should you wish) with a laptop, friends, or colleagues lends it a sort of common room, clubby vibe which is good in different ways for different reasons every day of the week." - Adam Coghlan
"A steady local hub that has remained active and provided consistent footfall for the area, even if it hasn’t dramatically transformed the neighbourhood." - Adam Coghlan
"A mixed-use market in Hackney operated as part of the Barworks portfolio; it functions as a multi-vendor, mixed-use space and is listed among the company's roughly 14 London venues, contributing a local market and leisure offering to Mare Street." - Adam Coghlan
"A capacious, neon-bathed east London market that reads like a curated collection of millennial-friendly attractions — a florist, deli, coffee shop, liquor store, podcast studio and more — creating an energetic, slightly overwhelming warehouse atmosphere. The overall impression is of a lively, idea-rich space that can feel cluttered and overfull, offering plenty to browse but lacking a little cohesion or restraint." - George Reynolds
