We visited for dinner on a Saturday. This is a potentially vibey spot with cool decor, but it was fairly empty at the time despite being a weekend. Hopefully just a January lull.
We were 2 adults and and 2 kids and between us ordered the sopaipillas (pumpkin bread), a couple of Wagyu and a couple of lobster empanadas, the beef tartare, red carrots, cauliflower, monkfish in lobster sauce, ribeye and potatoes. For dessert we tried the “avocado” and the coffee puff pastry. The food was mostly decent but some items were better than others. The starters were probably the highlight - the sopaipillas with dip, lobster empanadas and beef tartare were all very nice. They did well on the veggie items too (carrots and cauliflower). The headline main course of the ribeye steak came in a delicious carmenere sauce and it looked great but the meat was a bit chewy. Desserts divided the table, I quite enjoyed both desserts and the avocado was impressively designed, but the flavour combos were less appreciated by the wife and kids.
Service was very friendly and the food was delivered at a decent pace. The bill for our meal came to £325 of which £75 was spent on drinks. A solid new opening overall, Chilean cuisine isn’t that easy to find in central London, we enjoyed the meal but would rate it as good rather than excellent. Worth a visit at least the one time.
