I can’t get enough of this place. The rigatoni à la vodka is mind blowing. The lasagna, a triumph. And the risotto, absolute chef’s kiss. I accidentally ordered what turned out to be a giant bowl of pistachio ice cream, which was the best mistake I’ve ever made. Don’t sleep on the ice cream! Wow!

Absolutely beautiful ambiance and truly incredible food—easily one of the best Italian restaurants in São Paulo, if not the best. We had about a 45-minute wait for a table, and while we were served drinks at the bar, we did have to remind the staff that we were still waiting. That said, the food more than made up for it. The pasta was perfectly balanced—not overpowered by garlic or herbs—and every bite was full of flavor. I’ll definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu.

Incredible tasteful food! Amazing cuisine! Top service! Would be 5 stars if not for the noisy ambient and difficulty to walk around the restaurant and its tables. Anyway, it's a must go indeed.

Plush venue with excellent range of Italian inspired cuisine. More than helpful staff with the manager being active on the floor, which is great to see.

we had a delightful birthday lunch at marena, during a particularly hot summer day: a rather noisy party of 12, half in juvenile hangover, half past the juvenile ardor and in apologetic, slightly embarrassed mode. after a little hiccup about our reservation, the maître allowed the staff to join two tables in the lateral veranda. better impossible, since the youngsters were allowed to be noisy at will, without disrupting the main salon which is, by the way, of singular beauty and quiet calm. it feels like you are in an italian villa, under a wisteria canopy casting a refreshing shade from the scorching sun. enough of poetry. the drinks: all the drinks were perfectly mixed with a special mention for the saint germain spritz, a cocktail whose fancy name I don't remember, but it was a spritz, nevertheless. the food: almost everybody choose pastas: special mention, again, for the pasta with anchovies. great italian food isn't about amazing tricks, smoke and mirrors (sorry frenchies) but about synergy of great quality ingredients. we drank too much. thanks god half the table was under 20, so it wasn't totally ridiculous when "shots, shots, shots" were demanded after dessert; but our waiter was absolutely great, polite and patient. in a neighborhood with so many uninspiring restaurants and bars, marena is undoubtedly a restaurant to visit again.

Terrible and confused service.It was 16 degrees in São Paulo and half of the heaters did not work.Very expensive for the lousy service
