A Drive-Thru for Boozy Frozen Slushes Is Coming to North Dallas | Eater Dallas

"A second outpost of the boozy-slush bar is taking over a former Church’s Chicken at 19059 Marsh Lane Suite 100 (just north of the President George Bush Turnpike, bordering Carrollton), chosen for its standalone location, kitchen, and proximity to dense residential areas. The new spot will seat roughly 20 patrons between table and bar seating and — for the first time for the brand — offer a drive-thru. It will serve the same menu of 14 frozen slush flavors in multiple sizes (examples include margarita, hurricane, cotton candy, peach bellini with sparkling wine, and white russian); the “190 Octane” is the strongest at about 15% alcohol while most others are around 12%. The food program will be intentionally simple — tacos, quesadillas, and tortas with typical meat choices plus trompo and vegetarian options such as a zucchini taco with corn, onion, and potato. Renovations are underway with an intended opening in November." - Alaena Hostetter

There is no food here only drinks but they are open to you bringing your own food. The selection of frozen margaritas is amazing and they change some of their flavors. Mix whatever you want or try one of their concoctions. They offer samples as well. Many TV's to watch sports, a patio, and jugs to go. Right across from the lake. Nicole is a bartender and she is amazing. So cordial and outgoing always with a warm smile. I highly recommend this place

I absolutely love the vibe, atmosphere, and drinks! I usually come on Mondays (Half off 😁) and Sundays to sip, chill, and watch Football! The drinks are beautiful and yummy!!! They definitely leave me feeling right! 😁😁😁 Some days they're busy and some says slow, but it's the perfect spot to sip and relax! Come check it out!!!

Google

Google
Such a cool idea, I can’t believe it’s been here for almost a decade and I’ve never heard about it till recently! The bartender is very helpful over the flavors and options! I can’t wait to bring everyone here!

Google
Arrived a few minutes before closing. Wanted a quick order. Was rudely told “we are closed out bye out!” Never again. Preface: This location came highly recommended. Therefore, we took turns driving non stop. Experiencing horse trailer failure, repair and road continuance. We pushed the limit to arrive before closing. Only to be turned away. No need to call.

Yelp
Get a to-go drink if you want to have a good time and reasonably priced drinks. While I haven't stayed inside, it's clean and like a tiki bar. Reminds me of my college days!

Yelp
This place is so amazing! I got an orange mango marg to go! Whoohoo I was happy on my way back to Dallas!
google avatar

Yelp
Very fast service on a Sunday afternoon. Several options to choose from! The 16oz seemed small to me but was tasty.

Yelp
I came by here after treating my mama to a day of workouts/relaxation at my gym, we were starved and also thirsty! Haha. It was chilly outside but after hearing about this location right by Krab Kingz we decided to stop by. Apparently it is a one stop shop for Little Elm beach goers to cool off after a day on the sand. The music was blaring and the atmosphere was jamming despite the non summery weather outside. My mom and I had a few samples and I settled on a 'rita to go. There are a ton of flavors however all of the drinks are wine based. I am not a big fan of the wine based 'ritas however these were tasty. The add-ons they have are "wine based" liquor as well...which is just MEH. I enjoyed it enough to maybe venture back if I was at Little Elm beach with friends but probably won't frequent the location. I did enjoy the service though as well as the music.

Yelp
I came here with a friend for a lunchtime drink, and I definitely think it's worth checking out! The exterior is cute, and there is sufficient parking outside. The interior is vibrant and tropically campy (in the best way possible) with a good playlist to boot. I ordered the Beach Please drink during happy hour, and I was very satisfied! It hit a good balance between being sweet and flavorful and also having enough alcohol to get a buzz. And for just $3 during happy hour? Amazing. The bartender, Nicole, was very friendly and helpful in selecting a good drink and letting us sample flavors. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and would recommend you give it a try!
google avatar

Lam B.

Yelp
Really good frozen daquiris joint. $6 for 16 ounces and that is sufficient. Happy hour gets you a $3 drink. Incredible! Piña Colada was my favorite with Orange Mango tasting pretty good and Sangria was alright. The blue one was gross as it almost tasted like Everclear. Oh my gosh... Do they use Everclear?? Be warned that all drinks are sweet so the alcohol creeps up on you later.

Yelp
I definitely agree with the other Yelpers. It's not that the margaritas tasted bad, BUTTTTTT they don't necessarily taste like the infamous tequila spiked cocktail. Weird thing is, I sampled the High Octane (which is supposedly the strongest flavor) and it tasted pretty good. For my to-go order, I requested the customer creation called the Sunrise (Hurricane & High Octane mixed together). After a 32 minute drive to my home, I cracked that bad boy open. It didn't taste ANYTHING like a margarita---more like something I'd get from the daiquiri shoppe. Per Mikhael W's suggestion, I ended up adding a shot of tequila and a squeeze of lime. BOOM! We're back in business. Not sure if it was the mix of flavors or the long drive home that effed up my Margarita Hut experience. I spent $55 with them and wasn't left flabbergasted. I also was not greeted when I entered the establishment, but I didn't hold it against them. Still... in the midst of COVID-19, an acknowledgement would've done wonders.
google avatar

Nora F.

Yelp
Found this place by chance and I was excited because I thought it would be something like an Eskimo Hut. I was quickly disappointed and found one reviewer's description of drinks that taste like "ether" to be true hahah. I ordered the Sunrise, which is a combo of Hurricane and High Octane. This supposedly contains the most alcohol, though I'm not sure what* kind of alcohol. It tastes like watered-down Robitussin mixed with Boone's Farm.
google avatar

Palka M.

Yelp
Omgggg I love going here! The coolest thing is you can try the flavors AND then mix them! They have multiple different sizes of gallons too. I always take mine to go but they have a cute seating area too!
google avatar

Cortney K.

Yelp
I really like the Beach Please. It's sweet and delicious. I think it's plenty "strong" but I don't drink that much or that often. My husband likes the high octane (highest alcohol content) and usually mixes it with hurricane. Next time he will probably add an extra shot. Pictured is the Trio and Beach Please.
google avatar

Jess F.

Yelp
Pretty good little spot Quick and friendly service To-Go ++ We had the High Octane & Classic Margarita yesterday, both had pretty good flavor (but not very strong). Would return to try other flavors in the future.

Ivy M.

Yelp
Super yummy quick, great service and the drinks were great. The server was super nice. I even ended up getting a few jelly shots.
google avatar

Tanera J.

Yelp
Decided to try this place while getting some seafood from Krab kingz nearby. First impression was the inside could use a little update on decor possibly but it was a cute place. Pretty much what you expect from a similar place. I ended up mixing sour apple and hula punch I believe and my fiancé got the hurricane and octane mixed. Both were really good and I can't wait to go back and try more flavors. I also like the bottles in comes in as opposed to some cups that other daiquiri shops use. All in all it's decent and we Will be back since it's conveniently next to our current fav restaurant lol
google avatar

Nichole B.

Yelp
Love the margaritas here! The flavors are amazing and you get a lot for your money. They are located right across from the park, so it's the perfect place to stop on the way home after a long day playing in the sun! The people that work there have always been pleasant and helpful as well.
google avatar

Dee M.

Yelp
I typically don't like Frozen drinks, but my husband wanted to try their Margarita on the rocks. So I went went the White Russian and ONG... I'm hooked. Its not too sweet, and I can sip it slow. I will be going back!
google avatar

Ashley H.

Yelp
I come to this place almost every week I love the daiquiri is on the go very affordable it is clean, and they also have drink specials during the week.
google avatar

Lisia A.

Yelp
So many flavors, so little time! Enjoy a tasty beverage with friends inside or out, OR take one (or all) home to enjoy. You can mix and match flavors to create your own unique marg, or you can choose from popular recipes created by customers past. Walk in and sample a few flavors, or try them all for $4! Everyone I've interacted with has provided stellar customer service, which is a big plus. Some of my favorite flavors are Gold, Lemon-tini, Peach Bellini, Pina Colada, Sangria, and White Russian. My fave combo is Peach Bellini and Pina Colada. Definitely a go-to for a quiet night at home with my boyfriend, or to take over for patio or pool time with friends.
google avatar

Ernest M.

Yelp
Great drinks of all sizes. It can be a little crowded all the time so be patient or don't go in.
google avatar

Benita T.

Yelp
I've wanted to try this place out since it is close and compare it to one of my favorite locations in Carrollton. When I walked in the bartender was very nice and pointed to a menu where I could find the make up of the different flavors as well as some personal concoctions from other customers. I ended up going with my own mixture. She did seem to have some problems pulling one of my flavors out of the machine like it wasn't flowing freely but she eventually got it working. When I got home I wasn't that impressed with it. It was more snow cone syrup than a margarita. You know when you drink a snow cone the you see the flavor/color disappear and all you have left is the ice. That was in my jug when I started to drink it. I had to literally throw it away though because it wasn't the best for me.
google avatar

Ashley G.

Yelp
Fun little place to grab a drink to go. There's lots of flavors to choose from and a variety of sizes.
google avatar

Cole W.

Yelp
As I read all the great reviews and then all the "Karen's" I laugh... this place is great for what it is and the prices are good as well .. I don't know where some of these broke ppl are buying there drinks but love this place def recommend ... they Ferment their own alcohol from oranges and then add flavors it's pretty bad ass
google avatar

Greg M.

Yelp
During this time, I'm glad we were able to help out a small business during the Covid pandemic. The service by the staff Traci was exceptional with giving us the knowledge of the different varieties of margaritas. This was our first time visiting the Margarita Hut, but it won't be the last. This establishment was spot on and glad they had a game on too.
google avatar

Michelle D.

Yelp
Our drinks were so good and I'm so happy we finally have a convenient location for daiquiris.
google avatar

Russell V.

Yelp
What a fun little place! Margarita madness! This is a great locale for unwinding from a stressful week or just simply meeting up with friends for a casual hang out. The margaritas are fun, with plenty of flavors to choose from. Sometimes I like to sit and chat while enjoying a drink but other times I enjoy taking mine to go. The margaritas are machine-pour so they aren't made fresh or to order, but they are delicious. For a ridiculously low price you can order a sampler tray and get little shot-size tastes of all the flavors so you can try them out to see what you like. The staff is fun and will make recommendations to you for best ways to combine flavors for delicious blends. They don't serve food but they allow you to bring in whatever munchies of your own that you might like. A very casual place. No need to get all dolled up.
google avatar

Adrian B.

Yelp
Thought I would have a better experience at this establishment especially since it's close to home . Customer service was horrible, didn't get any interaction with the customer like other Daiquiri shops I've been to! My Drink itself was watery and was waiting to freeze it so I can possibly enjoy some form of the 64oz margarita. Overall for me personally this was my first time and last time at the place. Good luck ..., I'll drive all the way to daiquiri shoppe and get my customer service and great drink!
google avatar

Ashley B.

Yelp
Love this place! It has a very casual, relaxed atmosphere about it. Great adaptation of the New Orleans daquiri bar right here in North Texas. The bartenders will literally make whatever crazy concoction you can come up with regardless of if you are wanting to mix two flavors or six. I recommend the Lemontini, or the orange mango, or the hurricane, or... Daily happy hour that features $1 off all margaritas until 7:00pm. They also have Ladies Night on Wednesdays where us females can get in-house margaritas for only $2.50 each. What a deal!
google avatar

Marianne C.

Yelp
This place is perfectly located across the street of one of the lakes drop off site. If you have a boat and like to take it out every weekend you could always stop here and get a gallon or two of their many flavored adult frozen drinks. Before we ordered, the girl who helped us let us try some flavors and informed us that their drinks are wine based and not tequila. You can have your order to go (sealed container) or drink it there while watching sports on one of their many tv's. They don't serve food but I saw a group of people brought in their box of chicken with them. This place is a perfect addition to the booming Little Elm.
google avatar

Jared B.

Yelp
Delicious drinks, large selection with plenty of mixing options! It's unfortunate that it can't be liquor based drinks, but they still taste great and so the trick, so to speak lol
google avatar

Amy S.

Yelp
Amazing lil place of happiness Many flavors and cannot even tell there is no hard liquor in it.
google avatar

Jennifer R.

Yelp
Cute little place. I'm not from the area so I thought margaritas to go was a crazy good idea. I got the skittles version which is a mix of 4 different ones. My friend go a mix of 2 of them. We also got Jell-O shots. They all were very strong jello included. For almost a little too strong but I took it to the beach and the ice melted quickly. I like it but wish there were more options.
google avatar

Mike C.

Yelp
They have a good variety of margarita flavors. You can sample all margaritas for only $4. They have a great atmosphere and they are near the little elm beach. Also, a nice sitting area outside. The best part is you can get margaritas to go
google avatar

Ronnie M.

Yelp
Not bad, it is a little expensive and they don't taste perfect but if you need a couple of gallons for a party this is the place to go.
google avatar

Yelp
We absolutely love this place! Drinks are so good! Customer services is always exceptional!! We always make a point to stop here when we leave Little Elm Beach!
google avatar

Mary M.

Yelp
Great service very friendly cashier. My first time stopping In and you get three samples free to help you decide what you like. My Friday after work stop and it's on my way home.
google avatar

Lisa J.

Yelp
Shout out to one of the managers. I had an issue with a gift card that I had purchased a few weeks ago. She made it so easy and hassle free to fix. I really appreciated it. They are always friendly and quick to help customers. Plus I love their margaritas. I highly recommend this place!
google avatar

Danny P.

Yelp
Love this place. Super nice people. And for everyone who says they're not strong enough, order one with an extra shot or two. You won't be disappointed then.
google avatar

Kiannah W.

Yelp
Not to shabby. I actually thought the drinks were weak until... They kicked in! Haven't been back since then but if I was in the mood for a margarita I would stop by.
google avatar

Erica F.

Yelp
Stopped by once and the bar tender was great, she let us sample and gave us ideas on what to mix.
google avatar

Sarah P.

Yelp
Amazing cozy margarita place! They have so many flavors, cool concoctions, and cool staff! From their #1 seller original, to their "Bob Marley" mix, you can't go wrong with any of the margaritas. This place is very local as well, and very authentic. Our bartender Stephanie, was super cool as well. Will come back!
google avatar

Benita C.

Yelp
This place is awesome!! Came here while house sitting for friends since I've always wanted to visit a daiquiri bar here and compare since going to NOLA. Got the flight to taste all of them (enough to try for 2 if you don't mind sharing!) at a great price. My favorites were the cotton candy, hurricane, and pina colada, but some of the others were tasty too. Staff was super kind and friendly, and a lady who seemed like a regular bar patron was very friendly to us too, even shared her secret flavor combo! Lots of flavors to choose from, and they have a mixing menu on the back or you can choose your own (no flavor limit!). All in all a wonderful experience, only leaving 4 stars because the drinks themselves are pricey in my opinion. Around 6 bucks a piece, it can add up quick. We had the flight and a drink a piece.
google avatar

Tom F.

Yelp
Great small place to have a margarita & get one to go as well. Not overcrowded like most. Thumbs up , just wish the margs were a little stronger

Ashton H.

Yelp
It was my first time visiting and I am absolutely blown away! Abby was awesome, and answered any and all questions I had. The drinks were amazing! I will definitely be back. 100/10
google avatar

Brianna P.

Yelp
This place is a neat, but such a confusing concept. It was explained to me that the different alcohols are actually "flavorings" (vodka flavor, rum flavor, tequila flavor, etc) and they distill them similarly to wine to create the alcohol content. The bartenders were very friendly and let us taste three samples. I ended up getting the traditional margarita but it was really sweet. I'd be down to try something else another time it just wasn't what I was expecting!
google avatar

Matthew K.

Yelp
Hands down best place to get a margarita within 50 miles!!! Absolutely love the owner and the staff they are beyond excellent and the service is phenomenal!! Can't wait to come here all summer!!!
google avatar

Joy V.

Yelp
This was genus for Little Elm. As the Town is going we need more bars eatery etc...... l love the fact thst I can hang out locslly. There are a variety of Margaritas flavors and there is beer on tap and bottled. I have not had a flavor that i just did not like. Everything is great. Great drinks and a wonderful dtaff. Please check out there happy hour. You cant beat it.
google avatar

Randall A.

Yelp
Pretty good margaritas. They offer samples. The offered sizes are perfect. Owners are still trying to figure out what flavors should stay and which should go... I like the strawberry so hopefully that will be back.... But the jack and coke was pretty good. I'll definitely hit this once a week.
google avatar

Stacey R.

Yelp
This place is a great place to grab drinks with your friends! It has something to offer everyone. Be sure to make Happy Hour during the week M-F! If you don't want to sit at the bar, take them to go in a sealed container! Great idea for refreshments by the pool too! They also have the best beer specials in the area!
google avatar

Taylor C.

Yelp
I'd driven by this place so many times coming through Little Elm, so I finally decided to stop yesterday! It was a gorgeous, sunny afternoon so I thought it was the perfect day for a margarita. I realize I probably should have done some research beforehand, but there were only 2-3 other patrons inside so the woman/bartender went above & beyond to be helpful (wish I would have gotten her name!!) I got the 16oz 190 Octane, which was listed at a $6.00 price on the menu but my total came out to less than that, so there must have been some sort of Happy Hour or special going on. Again - should have done research! But I definitely won't complain about a bargain. It was delicious and I would definitely come back with friends soon.

Kate C.

Yelp
Great place for a quick fun drink to go for any outing or group get together. Reasonably priced & fast service.
