"A thing Boston definitely doesn’t need — but is apparently getting — is yet another celebrity-backed chain restaurant. This one’s not just any chain, though; it’s Jimmy Buffett’s famously ridiculous Margaritaville." - Terrence Doyle

I recently visited Margaritaville Boston and was disappointed with my experience. The service was incredibly slow; we waited an excessive amount of time for our food to arrive 45 minutes while there were only 3 tables been use. When it finally did, the tacos were dry and lacked flavor, the chicken was pale dry and not appetizing, though the beans and rice were a pleasant surprise and tasted good. Additionally, they forgot to bring us utensils, adding to the overall delay and frustration and taking additional waiting time and had to go and ask someone else for some. Considering the high prices, the meal was not worth the money. The combination of slow service and overpriced, underwhelming food makes it unlikely that I’ll return.

Overall, it's a fun place to eat and enjoy the atmosphere. I felt like I was in Margaritaville. The food was fantastic. The Lobster Fries were excellent, and the bacon was the icing on the cake. The Seafood Linguine was delicious. I love it and recommend grabbing it if you love Seafood Linguine. Our waitress was outstanding. She took our order and drinks, and the drinks came right away. When our drinks were low, she came with refills. We never had to ask for more drinks at any point during our stay there, which we appreciated. We will return to Margaritaville to try your other food options.

I enjoyed my visit to Margaritaville Boston- great food and service. However there are two things I would like to suggest: I was disappointed by the lack of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu- as myself and most of my party was vegetarian. We had to alter existing dishes to take the meat out- I ordered the nachos without the beef which was good, but I wish they had a few vegetarian or vegan menu options to begin with. On a less serious note- I noticed that this Margaritaville location did not have some of the defining characteristics that other Margaritaville locations had. I have watched videos of other locations- many have a giant slipper, hanging margarita glasses, and are playing Jimmy Buffet's music in the dining room. If this location had these it would be a nice touch. Overall a good location, but if they were to add more vegetarian menu options I will gladly come back and give it five stars.

$65.00+ for a single entree, 2 drinks and a piece of pie. Went to have dinner after being at the hospital all day and was shocked at the tab. By the time my "reserved" slice of pie came to the table, it had been so long it didn't want it anymore. Fries were better than the shrimp and my second drink was weak. Hostess wasn't the mostess. Bartenders were nice. I describe this margaritaville as over priced even for the area and "cute" for someone that doesn't know any better. But another margaritaville in the books!

Took 25 minutes for our waitress to arrive. Took another 25 for our app and drinks to arrive. Took 40 minutes for 2 simple meals to arrive. Drinks were made wrong at first, so had to get different ones that took another 15 minutes. I counted maybe 20 other people in the restaurant-- if that. We ordered shots to make up for the slow alcohol service--- mine had crumbs of food in it and my friends had a mosquito in it. Worst 2 hour dining experience I've ever had lol. At least the waitress was aware and funny enough to make jokes about it-- kept it entertaining. Oh. Speaking of entertainment-- the live singer was outperformed by a louder, better singer a couple feet away on the sidewalk. They both had to compete against all of the local music blasting, which made for a horribly overstimulating experience. If I return to this place, it'll probably be as a running joke for how awful it is.

A place that was only just recently built yet styled to look like it was built in the 90s. A place where if you order a veggie side you taste the butter more than the veggies. A place where you will be able to watch at least three videos of Jimmy no matter where you sit. You know exactly what you're looking for if you come here.

Ordered the caribbean chicken egg rolls and the land shark larger fish and chips. I've got the items listed above. And they were decent. Noticing after I got back to my bus(coach driver) that none of the sauces other than a few packets of ketchup and mustard came with it.

Visited this Margaritaville before a Bruins game. Bartender & manager were very friendly & attentive. Beers were never empty, even got an almost full beer on the house because the Landshark tap popped! Fish tacos & wife's salad were good portions & tasty. Clam Chowder had a little tangy Margaritaville twist to it ( I'm not a Chowder connoisseur, so I liked it). Jimmy Buffet music & videos were playing on the bar TV's, nice! Merch shop was loaded with Margaritaville stuff both with or without Boston on it. The upstairs bar & dining area was nicely Margaritaville theme decorated. Manager said they'd only been open since October and have plans for 40 outside tables for spring & summer. My only advice to them and being that it is winter they my already have this planned would be to make the main bar, 1st floor, more theme decorated. Gimme a Landshark surf board & some mileage destinations hanging up! Hopefully they'll get some potted palm trees & dress up the bar & outdoor seating area more tiki style. We will certainly return in the summer & hopefully be able to give it 5 stars!

Yelp
I LOVE MARGARITAVILLE. Now, some people might consider it tacky but that's the point so just enjoy the ride. Their margs are STRONG. I loved the Mountain marg. I also got something with passionfruit idk it is very good. Volcano nachos are the move. They are massive. Come hungry. We also had a great server named Jamie. She's hilarious. You should ask for her. I love that we have a Margaritaville in Boston. It is right in Faneuil Hall and you can easily bar hop from there. It is the place to get your night started and tbh where your night might end if you're not careful.

Yelp
We rented one of the upstairs spaces for a post-marathon party - about 40 people. Space was nice, we had our own bar and 2 barkeeps. No fee to book. Minimum spend was $1,500 and all food and drinks ordered went towards that and we met that. Worked out really well - would do again if we need to get a big group together again.

Yelp
The service was great. I went with my family. It was a cold day in Boston today . The service was great . My mom is vegetarian and the server suggested a veggie linguini and it was delicious. All other food was good but my dad's Fish and chips are not edible at all . They were soggy and oil was dripping . It was very sad . He could not eat anything.
