A Car Crash Badly Damages 58-Year-Old Bob’s Big Boy Statue in Downey | Eater LA

"I learned from the Palm Springs Post that over the next few weeks the Margaritaville Hotel and Resort will return to its original name, Riviera Hotel; the 400-room Riviera opened in 1959 and was converted into a Margaritaville property in 2020." - Mona Holmes

I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was spotless – from the lobby to the rooms, it was clear that cleanliness is a top priority here. The staff was beyond friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we checked in.||A special thank you to Joan, who went above and beyond every morning to make our 15-month-old daughter smile. She was so kind and genuinely caring, and it meant a lot to us as parents traveling with a little one.||Housekeeping was excellent as well – our room was always refreshed and tidy, and they never missed a detail. The complimentary breakfast was another highlight of our stay, with plenty of fresh options to start the day off right.||Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we’re in the area!

This hotel was fantastic. Easy access to lots of activities, very clean and unkept rooms, and easy and fast check in. Every other hotel I have gone to where breakfast is served, the person in charge just brings out the food and never looks at or speaks to you. At this hotel, there were 2 lovely ladies (Monica and Lisa) who were the complete opposite. They had a conversation with us, wanted to know if we were having a great time, and talked about family. These ladies made our morning a little brighter with the kindness. They sure do know how to make you feel welcome at the location! (Pigeon Forge, TN)

Had the best experience! First time staying here. Upon arrival and check in Christian made the process so quick and easy. Took less than 5 minutes! Soon as you walk in the hotel and throughout smells amazing!! The rooms were very, very, clean. To me, the mattress was very hard, but not bad enough where I couldn’t sleep good. The only negative thing we found in the room was that the bathroom does NOT have an exhaust fan. This made it bad for both using the restroom and also taking a hot shower, because of the steam. It fogged the mirrors up. The shower had great water pressure! Breakfast was complimentary, so I wasn’t expecting much. There aren’t really a lot of options. The scrambled eggs definitely need to be cooked longer! Other than those two things, this trip was exceptional!

Great hotel! Great price for the location as it is walking distance to the island. The rooms and the rest of the hotel were beautiful and EXTREMELY clean. Very modern, but yet homey and makes you feel like you are at the beach. Very cool to have a balcony with your room, I believe all rooms get a balcony. No matter where you are facing you have a nice view of either the mountains, parkway, or The Island. The free breakfast was delicious and a great bonus to the hotel to make it even better. The few staff we met were also very friendly and helpful. Not a single complaint about this place. Will definitely stay again.

Rooms are clean but both our backs hurt after sleeping on the beds so beds need to be upgraded. Nice location and place overall though. We liked the pools. It is loud because of the amusement park that closes at midnight so lots of screaming til then.

When booking our room I eneteres the wrong date leaving us 1 day short. Christian went above and beyond helping us take care of the issue! He was kind, knowledgeable and very helpful! A perfect example of why we love staying here! |Thank you, Christian!|Kevin and Christy T.

Comfy beds. Friendly staff. Very clean throughout. 👍👍Hot shower with good pressure. Located behind Paula Deans restaurant/ shop with parking lot & side street between. Island activities visible from the balcony. Variety of yummy breakfast foods . The pools , both inside & outside, seemed clean & spacious with handicap accessible. Landscaping was beautiful . Parking is limited at the hotel, but they have a well lit parking lot across the street for extra parking.

Very good location on the strip. Directly behind is the island at pigeon forge & of course Paula deans restaurant another stop worth making. Makes things convenient and comfortable. Rooms are clean, comfy and balconies are always a nice touch.
