Staff was very friendly and helpful. The check in process was a delight . My wife and I both got a massage at the spa located in the hotel and it was an excellent experience. Staff was friendly and on point to providing a comfortable ,wonderful and relaxing experience. We would definitely recommend, and we will be returning. We also had dinner at Jimmy's steak and seafood. The staff was fantastic there also. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect. We also would recommend, and will be returning. The room seemed a bit outdated, but was pretty easily overlooked because the rest of our trip was perfect. We will be returning to Margaritaville Casino and Hotel Resort.

Booked the room using the Penn app and received an amazing deal. Check in was fast. Staff were nice. The casino was alright. Whatever you win, it will snatch right back. The drinks weren’t that great, some were good and some were super weak. Order the same drink and it tasted different. The room was clean and quiet. The sheets had holes and towels were pretty rough on the skin. The pool area was small but nice. Overall it was pretty nice stay for 1 night but if we had stayed a couple of night, I might have a different opinion.

The rooms were clean & nice but lacked a small microwave. My wife also complained to me about there was no place to sit in the shower while shaving her legs. The casino was also very clean and we like the design. The cocktail service was terrible on the day we arrived (thurs). We played dollar and ten dollar slots for over an hr and never saw a waitress. We finally decided the only way to get a drink is to play video poker at the bar. The service there was pretty good. We asked why the service was terrible on the floor at slots. He told us because it doesn't really get better until Friday & Saturday nights. We didn't like the response. We were there for my stepmother's 81st bd. She lives in Marshall but we live in Texas City next to Galveston on the Gulf Coast. We both thought the pool area was nice. Thanks Gary Simmons

Not a bad casino/hotel. Rooms are big and spacious and not too bad for the price. Staff at the cafe could be a little more friendly except for the lady that made my food. She was nice. Played downstairs for a few hours with a small bank roll and ended up walking out with more than I anticipated.

I had a fantastic experience at Margaritaville Resort and Casino! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how extremely clean the entire casino was—one of the cleanest I’ve seen. It really made the whole atmosphere feel fresh and welcoming. The slot selection was top-notch, with all the newest machines available, plus a great mix of old-school classics for those who like the traditional feel. Whether you’re into the latest high-tech games or the tried-and-true favorites, there’s something for everyone. They also had plenty of table games available with friendly and professional dealers, which made it easy to jump in and enjoy the action without long waits. Customer service throughout the resort was outstanding. Every staff member I interacted with was polite, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure guests had a great time. Overall, Margaritaville delivers a high-quality, fun, and relaxing casino experience. I’ll definitely be back!

This may be the nicest casino hotel in Shreveport. Rooms are very nice. Island vibe, open and light. Beds were very comfortable. Clean throughout. Definitely recommend.

The location was perfect! Most staff members were not friendly. We got to our room and it was still dirty. It had what looked like mud on the ground, bed sheets had holes, and the bathroom hand-soap had what looked like beard hair. The best thing in the room was the shower! It was big, good pressure and the water got really hot. At the end of the trip, check out is 11. We had the do not disturb sign on the door and we heard a knock at the door at 10 from room service…. We felt rushed by them.

All the nice restaurants are closed several days of the week, or they close at 9pm. 9pm is too early 3close for a casino restaurant. Next the only thing food wise is some hole in the wall that makes small things to eat, but don't have enough staff to run the place. So if 2 people order food, you have to wait until it's done cooking to buy a bottle and coke or water. That's, crazy, and I paid up for my room almost $200 a night. I won't go back...
