My husband and I spent quite a bit looking for the perfect place to live in NoMa. To say that Margarite has been above every single place is the least! What made us choose this place is how private and exclusive it feels within the Union Market area, which is not the norm with other buildings. If you’re looking for a peaceful, absolutely beautiful and walkable place to live, this is it! We have immediate access to everything- from shops, restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, banks, grocery stores AND a very convenient metro station. We love living here so far. S/o to our amazing leasing agents, Rose and Zaraa, who made this moving process so smooth and always made us feel so welcomed!

The Margarite is an exceptional property with an amazing staff. We arrived and were promptly greeted by the concierge team and offered a beverage while waiting. So kind! Zaraa was Amazing throughout our tour, answering our many questions with patience and professionalism. Her warmth made the experience stress-free. She also sent a follow up email with measurements and an inquiry about our lunch date, ensuring her recommendations went over well. They were amazing by the way! This level of humanity is refreshing and I am beyond grateful it still exists. Thank you again for your time, we are excited to call the Maragarite home. Update: 2/21/26 Yay!! So we survived move-in day..it was a not as smooth as I would have hoped, but Perry saved the day! It has been an official month and we are still unpacking smh and getting acquainted with our new neighborhood , which is lovely.. I can't wait for Spring! Everything we need is with in steps of our door.. I have to shout out our "Insanely" kind, helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating Concierge Team, Cambridge, Perry, Ms. Wanda. Unique, Courtney and Ms. Reed I think we have met everyone, if we haven't I know they will be just as Amazing.. Also Jose one of the Engineers, arrived quickly to resolve a matter and the lovely welcome.. We are just feeling "Blessed" to be surrounded by professional people who do not get annoyed with our many ??? or the manyyyyy packages I have ordered lol You are All "Rock Stars" and we appreciate you.. another treat on the way:) Thanks for simply being YOU!

I recently moved into this apartment community and have had a wonderful experience so far. The property is beautifully maintained, the amenities are high-end, and the apartments feel modern and thoughtfully designed. The management and leasing team have been professional, responsive, and genuinely welcoming. It’s an excellent place to live in DC and I’m glad I chose this community.

Looks good but built cheap. 2 years in and they are already needing to do reparations??? Common now…. Gym AC has been non functional since the past three months. Appliances are just whatever. The building really feels like the focus has been on ROI vs the people living in it. But who cares right after a year they’ll increase your rent to have you moving to pray on the next clown. Gym equipment is decent. Management staff is friendly but it doesn’t make up for the poor infrastructure. But this is a wide spread issue in “luxury condos”. Not worth the money just a huge fad praying on the venality of consumers. Plus gentrification.

I have lived in Margarite for almost 2 years and have had an exceptional experience living here. Not only are the apartments beautiful and functional but the building is extremely well maintained and the staff are incredible. Carla is one of my favorite members of the concierge staff and always puts a smile on my face during her weekend shifts. Additionally, there are so many restaurants, grocery stores, and coffee shops within walking distance of the building that make the accessibility to everything a major plus. Only downside of the building is no pool but I found that the design and finishes of the units outweighed having a pool as an amenity.

This building is absolutely beautiful, incredibly sleek and overall a great place to live! When coming in I had the opportunity to work with Zaraa and MaryRose, and they were very professional, welcoming and kind! They made my time there a positive one and I would recommend this building to anyone!

My wife and I recently moved in and our experience has been nothing short of amazing. I’ll start off with the leasing team, Mary has been absolutely amazing. She made the process extremely smooth! She was professional, responsive, and attentive and when she couldn’t respond right away Zara stepped in with ease. Because we moved in from Spain we didn’t do walk through of the property so we relied heavily on the team and entrusted them, they did not disappoint. The property is absolutely beautiful and very well kept. Margarite also provides special curated events for residents and last night they hosted a sushi cooking class. Chanel who runs all the events did an amazing job. The vibes she created were perfect, to the quality of sushi we prepared were all on point. To our surprise, it served as a perfect date night! We’re excited to see what’s next and look forward to attending future events. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking to move into the area.

This is a terrible place to live. I repeat, DO NOT LIVE HERE. The building looks great but that’s the only good part about the living experience. The staff will woo you and LIE to you during your tour just to get you to sign a lease. For the building to look like luxury, living here was the complete opposite. There were multiple instances of MOLD, you can hear your neighbors all throughout the day (I essentially had to listen to my neighbor living below me on their work calls), I heard my next door neighbor EVERY TIME they used their microwave. And if you have a complaint, the leasing office is POINTLESS. The Multi-Site Resident Accounts Manager is a waste. She is no help. Then, if you ask to speak to someone else, she sends you to the Property Manager who only hides behind their computer screen and doesn’t do anything except repeat what the manager says. For this apartment to be so expensive, the customer service is NONEXISTENT. Once again, DO NOT live here.

This is a brand new building that doesn't official start leasing till the 1st of July. We had a tour with Nikol and it was amazing. Prior to the tour we got a whole introduction behind the building and the Executive Concierge was phenomenal. The whole building was built with so much intention and detail. From the light fixtures to the screen that does real time updates on metro lines, etc. they even have sound proof areas, etc. I am obsessed! The whole team is phenomenal, Nikol, Ramona and the Executive Concierge I think it was Tommy, definitely something with a "T". The whole experience from start to finish was so welcoming, the building is gorgeous, the rooms are spacious with beautiful finishing and the team is amazing!

Rosemary denied my application after it was already approved.. the concierge said it was a mishap.. why is concierge in my leasing business or anything I have going on with the rental office. VERY BEAUTIFUL BUILDING BUT UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF

I have loved living in this apartment building located in Union Market! The staff is truly incredible- they remember your names and are the friendliest people. When we have had minor issues in our unit, the staff shows within 24 hours to troubleshoot. The building amenities are always being cleaned and there's typically someone at the front desk 24/7. It's super secured which I love. The mailroom is also always organized and I've never lost a package once! Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to live just minutes from some of the best food spots in DC!
