Where to Find Italian Bakeries With Zeppole in Chicago

"All Mariano’s stores are selling zeppole from Palermo Bakery for St. Joseph’s Day for $2.99. They’re made with cream puff dough sliced and and filled with pastry or cannoli cream, then sprinkled with vanilla-scented powered sugar and topped with a cherry or candied orange peel." - Samantha Nelson, Eater Staff

Yelp
Best Mariano's location in Chicago. This place is kept so clean and organized. I'm talking you can walk in the second they open or minutes before they close, and they take the same care any time of the day. Employees are so kind and helpful, and their downstairs flower area has THE BEST arrangements that I swear last longer than flowers I've ever bought anywhere else. Mariano's leadership should send all employees to train here first -- spread the awesomeness to all locations!

Yelp
Normally like this place! Today, 6/30/24, I put my headphones on to breeze through my shopping. I went to the far self checkout cubical and walked over to what appeared to be an vacant open station (it had its overhead light on, but it was too sunny in the store to see if the touch screen was on). I walked over there to peek and a tall male employee, who was maybe in his 60s/70s and wearing a protective mask, raised his voice at me. He must have been trying to talk to me, but I didn't hear him because of my headphones. I took out my headphones, apologized and told him I didn't mean to ignore him, I just had headphones in at the time. He just turned back around to try to fix another broken register without responding. I then tried to see if a different vacant self checkout station in the same area was broken too, only to have whip around and yell at me again that "only two of the registers were working right now". Got it! I didn't realize, but now I do....no biggie! Considering I wasn't attempting to cut anyone in line or anything, and I had just made an honest mistake by not realizing it was down and walking over to it, it felt like a huge overreaction that was unnecessarily embarrassing for me. It made me so uncomfortable that I vacated my next up position in line and went to go check out on the opposite side of the store. I understand that it's frustrating when multiple of your registers go out and you have to fix them, but that shouldn't give you a right to be mean.

Yelp
This is a very sorry excuse for the store that it used to be. That said, it's still a terrible store without comparing it to how Mariano's was before Kroger acquired it, or any store, for that matter. Sale items are regularly our stock, the extra savings quick codes don't register on the app half the time, and prices are astronomical. If there were a Whole Foods closer, I would definitely shop there instead, since the prices are about to same, for much lower quality. The produce is a joke, and they've done away with most of the organic selections. There used to be in an entire aisle dedicated to it, now there's next to nothing. The prepared food is absolutely disgusting as is the meager salad bar (also with no organic choices). The desiccated yet somehow greasy food there looks like it's been sitting out for days because I'm sure it has. The lines are always long with never more than two "humans" working at a time. They did add a lot of self check-outs which, humorously, are also NEVER open. The staff can also never seem to put the hand carried baskets back at the front of the store. There are always employees standing around, not doing a thing, when they could be putting restocking them. Never thought I'd wish for Dominic's to come back, but here we are. I don't understand the Karens who love this place. Must be some really good Adderall going around.

Yelp
I keep going here because the hours and location are convenient and they have most of the brands I want, but the way they treat customers has become so unwelcoming I don't want to bother with it anymore. I contacted their main offices via email and received no response. I don't know if it's the owners or just the people currently working there, but I think I'm about done with this place. FWIW, the prices are all over the place, too. Why list three different prices? For some items they have the "standard" price the sale price, and the special digital deal buy-x-and-get-a-lower-price price. Why not just have consistent low prices?

Yelp
1800 W Lawrence is my favorite Mariano's. The staff is always helpful, and it's easier to navigate this store than the others. My one complaint is that they replaced the breakfast place downstairs with Starbucks a few years ago. I know Starbucks and Stan Donuts are popular, but the old breakfast stand had better food. I know several people who still miss the oat meal cups.

Yelp
I don't know if Kroger is concerning themselves with corporate profit at the expense of store experience or what... but it seems like they would go hand in hand, no? When I visited this week the cart escalator was not working. Ok, there are two elevators. But not really because as I saw when I came into the store one of the elevators was down for maintenance. So it's a multi-floor store with parking on the roof and if you have more than a single bag or so you have to take the lone elevator in the place? I'm also suspicious because this isn't the first time this has happened. I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've gone inside Mariano's since March 2020 or earlier (I usually use the pickup service and order online). But one of those few times that I've been in in the last ~year, the escalator was also down because I had to take an elevator. Did I really just happen to show up here at two different times months apart where the escalator wasn't working, or is this a long-term/ongoing issue? Mariano's used to be the nice grocery, but y'all are slipping into Jewel territory so you might want to step it up.

Yelp
Unlawful Detainment, Bodily Harm, and Battery Incident at Mariano's Store 5201 N Sheridan Rd, Chicago, IL 60640 I am writing this review to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service and treatment I received at Mariano's store located at 5201 N Sheridan Rd, Chicago, IL on September 18, 2023. My experience was marred by an incident involving a security guard that left me unlawfully detained, physically harmed, and emotionally distressed. I was at Mariano's store, I observed vehicles illegally parked in a handicap spot and took photographs and video for later reporting these violation through official government channels. After I documented multiple illegal parking in a handicap spots, I was confronted by a security guard identified only as Jason, employed by Metro-One-Loss-Prevention-Group. This encounter quickly escalated, leading to the guard forcefully slamming my car door on my right hand, causing bodily harm and drawing blood. What's more, the guard followed me to the pharmacy, jeopardizing my state and federal HIPAA rights, as I intended to discuss confidential health matters. It's worth noting that the security guard is not a HIPAA "business associate" of Mariano's Pharmacy, making his actions illegal and a blatant violation of privacy rights. I have taken the necessary legal steps, filing an official police report (JG429371) along with a video of the battery, with the Chicago Police Department's currently assigned to Detective Lato of the Area 3 Special Victims Unit (SVU). I am now seeking legal redress and have submitted a request for the issuance of a summons or warrant against the security guard responsible for the incident, as well as the responsible parties at Mariano's for their role in the altercation. The store's handling of this situation raises serious concerns about customer safety, and I question the adequacy of their security protocols. The lack of disclosure regarding the security guard's last name and the company's failure to address this incident promptly is disconcerting. I hope this review serves as a warning to potential customers and prompts Mariano's management to take immediate action in addressing these issues. The disregard for customer well-being and privacy displayed during this incident is unacceptable, and I expect a swift and thorough investigation into this matter. Yelp
I love this Mariano's so much!! After moving to Ravenswood, this became my closest grocery store, and I'm so happy it is. First things first, there's rooftop parking. Although it's usually crowded, we've always been able to find a spot. The bar is always poppin', so I assume they have some pretty sweet happy hour deals. What I really love is there is sometimes a pianist playing music, which is such a treat when grocery shopping! The fruit and veggie selection is always fresh, which you can't say about every grocery store in the city. Because this location is rather large, it feels pretty spread out to which is nice when shopping during a busy time. One of my favorite buys is the rotisserie chicken, which are made fresh daily, and they usually have a nice 2 for $12 deal. The bakery has amazing sourdough, and the butcher can actually grill your choice of meat for you before you head home! I've found wait times for checkout here are much shorter than other stores, which is another plus. We're part of the rewards program and we always save a decent amount at checkout. The biggest downside is that there isn't a mobile pay option, which I feel like is a no brainer in 2023.

Yelp
Kroger decimated this store. -not enough cashiers...stupid long lines to check-out -unfriendly workers -bad quality food -high prices -terribly managed -stocking shelves at all hours & blocking the isles -NOW they stopped the live piano music. I'll never shop here again! It feels like Walmart
google avatar

Jim S.

Yelp
They do it again. Tuesday morning at 9:00. Only one cashier and no bagger. Line is outrageously long. Told the manager she did nothing.
google avatar

EJ J.

Yelp
Clean and well laid out. Wine bar! Lots of grab and go options including sushi, pizza, chicken and hot plate buffet. Easy to find parking . Really like this Location

Dominique D.

Yelp
Today was my first time at this location and will not be returning. The layout is confusing and I think I just walked in circles for an hour looking for everything I wanted. Purchased something today that I didn't see the use by date of 9/16/23...6 months ago! Staff were nice but rather drive to the Lakeview location which has a better layout.

Joe M.

Yelp
For a full service grocery store they never have enough cashiers or baggers. They try to force everyone through the self checkout lanes.

Yelp
If broken eggs, produce covered mold and unapproved substitutions are your things--grocery pickup at Mariano's in Ravenswood is for you! In an effort to avoid the consistently long checkout lines, I've done grocery pickup here as I live nearby. However, I have not had one single order not have multiple issues. It's as if whomever they have fulfilling pickup orders does so with their eyes closed and zero thoughts in the mind. Today (June 1), I picked up my last grocery order from Mariano's as I come home to find half of the dozen eggs I purchased broken. Get it together--you guys are the worst.

Yelp
I've been going to this Mariano's for 3 yrs now. I usually find everything I need. Fruit and veggies are always fresh. It can be expensive at time so I make sure I look at their digital coupons before I shop. The bar area always looks like its poppin! Every employees I've ran into have always helpful. The staff at deli are always nice, I've tried a new cheese that I was curious about. More than anything my cats loves their paper bags when I return home.
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
They do seem to have a wide variety of foods and higher quality options. I love their fresh sushi and poke bowls. Their prices seem fair. My only issue is the staff. Employeees seem annoyed when customers are in the aisles shopping and don't care that their stock carts are blocking the walkways. the lady at the self-checkout is extremely rude- Ms Corn or something her name tag says. She actually starts arguments with customers and seems VERY irritated when you have a question about your checkout. I avoid the self checkout if she is there. The staffing quality seems to have gone over the past couple of years.

Yelp
i was in this store today, i noticed immediately a marked improvement , it actually looked like someone is trying to manage this store, things were orderly and functioning and cleaner , my previous time in this store was about 8 months ago and i was able to shop but had been very unimpressed , todays visit was a much needed improvement, it looks like someone actually cares-thank you
google avatar

Brad B.

Yelp
Don't be tricked about prices marked "reduced" in their deli area. More often than not, you will still be charged full price at the register. I've had to call this to the attention of the person working at the self-checkout multiple times, and they're aware that they're doing this. I avoid shopping there as much as possible because this doesn't sit right with me. I don't know how often people don't check their receipt, but not everyone does and it's very dishonest.

Yelp
Save yourself time & frustration. Go elsewhere. They really need to change the sign to Kroger because it is no longer Mariano's. Mariano's had excellent customer service & quality items. Nothing is the same.

Katie S.

Yelp
This Mariano's seems to get worse every time I stop by. The aisles are un-navigable due to haphazardly-placed promo stands, the prices are skyrocketing and the quality is plummeting. For some reason, people take their dogs here? Not service animals; like random Pomeranians sitting in carts and snapping at you when you pass by. The whole store has gone feral.
google avatar

Tyshondra B.

Yelp
i am writing i being going to this story for a long time and there customer service is horrible in addition, i made severlal complaints . thes workers and those who work there need to have better attitudes in additon, i like shopping there .
google avatar

Meaghan V.

Yelp
I would rather have help bagging my groceries than a wine/piano bar. It's very difficult for short people to reach items on the conveyer; I can't imagine what a nightmare it must be for the elderly or disabled. Also, fish and pork have gone bad a day after purchase and the aisles are full of promo stands that cause bottlenecks during busy periods. Mariano's needs to focus on the fundamentals of a grocery shopping experience and keep the gimmicks to a minimum. Staff is very kind and helpful. Produce has been fresh.

Yelp
This Mariano's is located @ 1800 W Lawerence right next to Ravenswood. Like most of the Mariano's they are a huge improvement over either Dominicks (which were replaced by Mariano's) and Jewel. There is a two story atrium at street level in the front right off of Lawerence Ave. The bulk of the store is on the second level w/a parking structure on the third/roof level. The nice thing is the rooftop parking lot is for both Mariano's in the front & LA Fitness in the back. It's nice to have a Mariano's attached to the LA Fitness in the back. It's a nice 1-2. Lately I have been doing a workout @ this Gym then going to Mariano's for lunch. It's a nice way to kill 2 birds w/one stone
google avatar

Wanda O.

Yelp
I use to love this location especially when they first opened but now it's gone downhill. I walked to Mariano's today to purchase some groceries. The store is so busy especially on a Sunday, customers are rude and pushy. The clerks aren't helpful. The food is overpriced. I bought a pre-made Caesar salad the salad didn't come with dressing ( rolls eyes ) also the salad hurt my stomach. The escalators or elevators are usually out of order. That's my rant for now.

Les P.

Yelp
A new update this morning 2 women were assaulted in the downstairs sitting area the "security" briefly looked up from his phone then walked away until someone got him. Also the very unpleasant woman at the self checkout was very rude looking over my shoulder as I was at self checkout

Yelp
I was at the location on Lawrence just off of the metra tracks today. It's like 1804 West Lawrence. I go in the store frequently enough and have always enjoyed the service. They always have things in there that I like and they're pretty much affordable all the time. And I like their service and I think they're great and they are a nice store, however, today I went in there and I wanted some quick restaurant food and I got the food. And I was not happy that I had to walk all the way across the store to pay for my food at the regular general checkout counter and have to wait in line with people that had $100 grocery orders. I don't see why they can't have somebody that somewhere in the store that you can have so people can just scoop up their food and get their food go pay for it and then sit at the counters to eat it. It's very inconsistent with your good customer service. It'd be nice if you would really consider having some kind of kiosk where people that just want to come in and eat lunch and leave without having to walk all the way across the store and then walk back over and sit down and eat. You know that food's been sitting under the heat lamp for hours and you know people like that stuff but seriously get some kind of a kiosk and the food area for people to do this so we don't have to inconvenience the grocery store clerks. You used to have that where people could pay for their food and then go sit down and eat it but you don't anymore and I'm really not happy about that at all!
google avatar

Tim S.

Yelp
Okay, fine, I will update the review... I have to say they have done a great job during the pandemic and I appreciate the store more now. Only issue is all the darn InstaCart people crowding the aisles and reaching over you when browsing for products. Helpful staff and clean check outs make one feel safe in these interesting times.

Lincoln A.

Yelp
I just tried to use Marianos Delivery now and my order was apparently cancelled. No reason was given and no alert was sent. This is not very convenient. I won't use it again.

Tami S.

Yelp
Selling this week a bad watermelons. I bought 3 because there are for 1.99 each and all of them are white color from inside. I now know way they are only 1.99 each.

Yelp
Ugh, I dislike this store for many reasons, but it's the largest of the three grocery stores close to me, so I deal with it. Today's visit is what prompted me to write this review. I bought a few groceries in the regular line, and then decided to go back and get some lunch at the hot bar and eat in the seating area provided. I paid for my food in the self-checkout and sat down to eat. Halfway through my meal, an employee came up to my table to ask if I paid for it. WTF? I told him I did, and he asked to see my receipt. Seriously?? I threw the receipt in the garbage by the self-checkout as soon as I paid because I didn't expect to be interrupted during lunch by someone demanding to see a receipt. So, that really ticked me off. I also despise the layout of the store, especially the produce section. Those little fruit and vegetable kiosks may look nice, but good luck trying to move around, as there is always a big-ass unloading cart or three blocking the way while they restock. And even if the employees don't have a re-stocking cart, it's still difficult to navigate around, as there is not enough aisle space for all the shoppers. Whoever designed that cluster must have been seriously high.
google avatar

Kris M.

Yelp
My wife and had shopped there for years. Seems like since COVID hit all the staff have forgot about regular customer service. This last week was the last time we will shop there. I am tired of the constant rude cashiers you deal with on a regular basis. They still make you bag tour own groceries while touching all your food and not cleaning their hands in-between customers. last week the cashier ignored my wife when she said hello and told him she had her own bags. He just scanned all our food didn't. Make any eye contact and acted like he was doing me a favor. If you don't like your job or customer service then quit. I mulyself am an essential workers and work with COVID patients so treating people like you are better then them is ridiculous. We will be going to Whole Foods. Enough is enough. Dont mind spending more to get treated like a human. This place sucks!!!

Pat m.

Yelp
The customer service is terrific, starting with Steve, the register personnel, pharmacy. Same good quality produce, proteins, bakery and grocery selection. But sadly the store is so rundown, not very clean, escalators continually out of service. Very sad for a once beautiful store. But really nice staff

Nina C.

Yelp
I usually love to shop here because people are nice especially Megan and Brenda. Unfortunately, tonight I had to wait in the line from 8.50 to 9.20 ( 30 minutes !!!) to check out because mr Sylvester keep talking to disable lady to hate everyone in the world !!
google avatar

Jon G.

Yelp
I loved this grocery when they first opened. Beautiful, modern flagship store with very reasonable prices and awesome selection. When Kroger bought it, things went downhill. Prices went way up (even before the pandemic) and quality went down. Most frustrating is inaccurate and deceptive pricing. I frequently find that at least one or two items come out higher at the register than advertised. This has been going for years and has been an issue at all the Mariano's since Kroger bought them.
google avatar

Denyce M.

Yelp
I love this store for no other reason than I can shop and drink at the same time. There is a very good selection of produce, meats, seafood and ready made meals. The wine and liquor selection is very good too. Not many places carry the Sutter Home Fre Non Alcohol Sparkling...very good wine for folks who want to feel like they are drinking bubbles without the alcohol. Also not a bad place to just come and have a drink and listen to some music at the bar or a bite to eat. Big fan of the BBQ section. On the weekends you can get a slab of ribs for $10 and some great brisket. But you gotta be quick as that meat disappears fast. I highly recommend the loaded potato as it is covered in yummy goodness of cheese, sour cream and brisket. It is a meal by itself.

Yelp
Just went to Mariano's pharmacy at Ravenswood since CVS was out of an item. There is a difference of night and day. Even when this pharmacy was super busy - they were pleasant, helpful, etc. Thank you

Yelp
I go there in regular basis, I am a regular customer at Mariano's at this location; Lawrence/ ravenswood . Today I came to do my regular shopping, I was looking for basic things I usually buy at this store , so I asked for help . The lady that was supposed to help me was very rude and unprofessional. Her name is Angie , she's one of the managers , instead of helping me with my needs , she was yelling at me . She must be removed from her management position. I wish the G M sees this ! Feel free to contact me at : (773) 474-4916 Uriel ,

Yelp
So I'm a little late to the Mariano's fanboys and why they like it. In terms of groceries, there's really nothing special about Mariano's; prices are higher than Walmart, but definitely lower than Whole Paycheck aka Whole Foods. What does set this place apart, and I can see why people like it, are the amenities. They have a dude playing on a piano, and cool food stations where you can pop a squat and have dinner, such as a sushi station where you can order sushi made to order. What I've been taking advantage lately is the Grill Station. I order a pub burger behind the counter, and then the Grill Station seasons and grills up the meat for me. Not dirty pans to wash. Score! And this particular time, in fact, I'm writing this review as I'm waiting for my Chicken Buffalo Pub Burger to grill (average wait time is ~15-min) they have a sale for $3.50/lb. Buy some bread and cheese and you got yourself decent burger for under $5! Besides that, they also have a wine bar where you can even order a bottle from the shelf and put it in those instant chillers. Pretty cool. Bottom line: if you're a no frills, and just want to get cheap groceries, type of person, this place won't really stand out for you. You'll find other places that has cheaper groceries. But if you care about the amenities, getting wine while you shop, or like to have your food cooked for ya, definitely take advantage of a Mariano's BATHROOM REVIEW: bathrooms are located on the 2nd floor, near where the shopping carts are stored. Inside, the bathroom is ok. Not super clean, not dirty either. It gets the job done. Sit or squat? Squat.

Yelp
Sometimes I love you Marianos and sometimes you can be filled to the brim with other lovers that cause me to second guess our relationship. Here's what I Love about you: - GREAT LOCATION (reason for so many frequenters) - Usually have everything in stock - except last week when the blueberry truck had a flat tire and were without the blue Bs (true story) -Friendly staff -Hot bar -SAMPLES -variety of food products and tastes -bar -piano man playing real music (kid you not) What I am not so in love with: -Crowds, weekdays you are all mine (love!), on weekends forget it! Parking lot is clogged up from the LA Fitness overflow and shoppers. The aisles are a mess and people just bring a frightened frenzy with them into the store -The parking situation can sometimes be a little packed and difficult to maneuver Either way, you are convenient, proximate and I have learned when you and I mesh well together. For those of you considering this as your exclusive GS (grocery store), I recommend coming on a weekday if your schedule permits or in the wee hours of the weekend.

Yelp
Not much can be said about Mariano's that folks don't already know, but this location is one of my faves. I normally go here to enjoy the bar and live music with friends. The bartender I normally get is a cute girl and she is a sweetie who makes great drinks. Grab some charcuteries from around the store, maybe some sushi or oysters, or pick out food and have them cook it for you and take it right back to the bar and eat it. Happy hour is from 3pm-6pm and has glasses of wine or any cocktail for 5 bucks. Free parking lot is available and after you feel guilty for all you've eaten and drank, you can go down and workout at the gym. Yeah right. Just go home.

Yelp
This is an underrated Mariano's location. If you live downtown, it's a bit off the beaten path, but it is still on Lawrence, a busy street in Ravenswood. The parking is fairly simple, which is great since Mariano's is often infamous for its tight squeezes in their lots (Lakeshore East) or aggressive ramps and sharp turns (Halsted/Greektown). There has always been a good selection here, and the staff members are knowledgeable and helpful! I don't remember ever finding produce out of stock at this location. There is often someone playing the piano here, and last time, it was "You've Got a Friend in Me." I texted my friends, since it made me wistful, and one of the friends asked why there was a piano player at a grocery store. That's fair...but it feels classy :) Mariano's also has good prices, and their member card gives you legit savings. I don't think it's really pricier than Jewel, and Jewel's quality makes me feel like I'm in a late-1980s Soviet satellite state, in terms of its barren shelves and disorganization.
google avatar

Brett J.

Yelp
Pretty convenient to my apartment, even though this location of Mariano's is actually in Ravenswood, this is still the location I visit most often for my grocery shopping. It's clean and the associates are generally pretty welcoming. They're a good market and usually have whatever I'm looking for. Not much else to say here.
google avatar

Yelp
Wine while shopping. A very generous $3 pour of rosé made my day awesome. The store has everything, great staff, and it isn't expensive. Easy parking too. If I lived in Illinois I'd shop here all the time. While drinking wine.

Yelp
The curbside-pickup order I did today went very well. The personal shopper, Jasmine F, did an amazing job. She called and confirmed every substitution, item by item, and clearly put a lot of effort into finding good subs, and made sure to check every item for gluten-free status, as requested. She went as far as to confirm that the slightly bigger bottle of the same Ranch dressing was ok! Since the whole reason I do pickup is to minimize COVID risk, I especially appreciate that Jasmine was wearing a mask (correctly) when she brought the order to my car, and made sure to not touch my credit card. This is in stark contrast to the experience I had yesterday at the Roger's Park location, which was, to put it briefly, useless. Today's order happened entirely because Roger's Park did a terrible job. Jasmine, you saved saved the day. Thanks.

Yelp
Mariano's Fresh Market for me is a nice grocery store although some would disagree. When the pandemic started it has been my go-to store since it is near my place and is the most convenient for me. The staff does not really care much about sanitation but I myself just provided it for my own safety. Even so, the store is a great help because I got everything I needed in terms of grocery and it is a bonus that it is big and spacious and glad I was not able to have a contact with my fellow customers inside. Until today I prefer to go in here. The staff are nicer and helpful now. I like their pastry section and they have this cookie selection and the cookies are big compared to the ordinary cookies and it tastes much better and fresh too. They have sales on selected products from time to time but it is still fine without it because most of the products inside has fair and reasonable prices.

Yelp
Kroger officially ruined this store. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to walk up the stairs because the escalator has been broken for 3+ months. On my way home, I'll have to make stop somewhere else to pick up locally made corn tortillas (notice how they are always out of stock but the piles of crappy mass market flour tortillas are always in stock? That's called: what the customer wants)

Yelp
I've been going here for years because it's the closest big grocery store, not because it's best. The produce is almost always not very fresh. I bring things home and they go bad very quickly. However, what I have to report now makes me leery of going back. I got food poisoning last night from food on their wet bar. I had chicken tenders and fries and have now been ghastly I'll for 24 hours. That's the last hot bar/salad bar I ever patronize and I have to call quits on this store now.

Yelp
Expansive selection without being overwhelming, fan of the layout, haven't had a bad experience. Ice cream selection is pretty good, could be improved with Jeni's. UPDATE- they have Jeni's!!

Yelp
This is a new building that was built in what used to be the parking lot for Sears. The difference between this Mariano's shopping experience and the experience in Mariano's that took over Dominick's facilities is night and day. All Mariano's charge a premium price, but this one can justify it. The folks in the different departments are very knowledgeable about the product in their department (I was particularly impressed by the cheese dept). In addition, there is incredible variety across the board in the perishable departments. As you walk in the store there is a bar where you can buy a drink to enjoy while you are shopping (and the carts have drink holders). The store is well staffed in general and all staff seems enthusiastic and willing to help. I can't recommend doing all your shopping here (as the prices are pretty high) but def check out the perishables and think about this place for food for special occasions.
